Arianne Zucker Returning To Days of our Lives

One of the most popular and best actresses in Days of our Lives five decade-plus run, Arianne Zucker (Nicole), is reprising her role of Nicole Walker!
Soap Opera Digest broke the news, that Zucker, who left the series in 2017, is set for a comeback, and will be seen this fall on the NBC sudser.
As viewers saw, Nicole was forced to leave Salem and break-up with Eric (Greg Vaughan), because Brady (Eric Martsolf) had the goods on her for murdering Deimos (Vincent Irizarry).
How will Nicole’s return impact Brady, Eric and what role will Ari’s ex Kyle Lowder being playing as well? Will he be mixing it up on-screen with Ari?
Zucker’s return will make for intriguing daytime drama, especially under the pen of head writer, Ron Carlivati.
So, excited to hear that Arianne is making a return to Salem? Comment below
Best news I have heard in a long time!!!!
I had hopes that we hadn’t seen the last of Nicole when she left Salenm.
Nicole found the real Brady who was somehow switched at birth…thats the role Kyle will be playing…however, current Brady is also the real Brady when dna is performed and Kyles Brady has the same dna results…they are fraternal twins and Kyle’s Brady was stolen at birth..lol…ok, just make him Philip
Good my girl is back
Yeayyyy!!!! So happy to see Nicole back.
What will the newly self-appointed morally-conscientious good guy Brady do?? What will Eve do?
Does she know that he threatened Nicole?…..that he viciously drove her out of town because he couldn’t handle the fact that she chose Eric over him? How dare she?? How dare any woman choose another guy?!?! Ugh!!
What of Miss Purity-Jen, herself? Oh, me, oh, my……the caca will hit the fan in more ways than one…..this I ‘gotta’ see!! Can’t wait. So exciting!!
ONE: I truly believe that Ron Carlivati can perform miracles. I still think it was a VERY GOOD TIME for Ari Zucker to have left. she ran thru all the men… especially the three muskateers… Eric / Brady / Daniel. no matter how “bonded” we are to her character .. (plus it didn’t help that she didn’t have any woman friends…. dag ! just Jennifer ? she has no ties here.) LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE… with all due respect… I do not want her to be DAYS new leading lady. FOCUS ON THE DONOVAN WOMEN. there were so many bleak years.. that to see Nicole and Sami… out of the scenery… is just not missed. WITH the triple crown in our pockets… I imagine most will believe.. why not, she’s talented? CHANNEL NEW ENERGY. everything on the show is gusto muchachos.
LOL, Patrick…..I think you have a point there. Nicole left at a very opportune time……precious time to have given her wisdom in dealing with HER life issues—never mind the men.
Will Holly be sorased?
….”.. ran through all the men….” :DOUBLE LOL. Oh, my Patrick…..except for Alice Horton, Mary Williams, and Mona Kane ( as per my Gran—were there more?); what woman, on any soap, hasn’t tangoed with the football team, and beyond?
Honestly? I’d rather have Nicole than Eve. For some reason, which I cannot pinpoint, Eve does not strike me soooo sincere. Perhaps, we have not seen moments of “self-illumination” with Eve as we have seen with Nicole. Eve still appears shifty to me, while Nicole stole my heart…..even after her misdeeds.
That is the crux of the matter, for me, Patrick. Every one of us sees things through different eyes…..we attach ourselves to certain spoken expressions that move us, where the same words do nothing for someone else.
I have loved Kassie since forever…prayed for her during her dark days with her health—but, Eve is not doing it for me. She has become a superfluous character…..
I pray the PTB don’t get the ‘bright’ idea of sticking Theresa and JJ together. Nah….big mistake. Too sedate. JJ has changed drastically….while I appreciate characters finding their soul and become better beings, I, vehemently, protest ‘fully’ altered, mollified personae.
Now, look at Xander…..so much potential. He and Theresa? Fire!!
Make him a sorta-kinda good guy; but, keep his bad-boy edge.
I can taste it……
I don’t know… retread.. even if it’s Eric N Nicole. ???? after ALL the years of hit and miss… it doesn’t seem to me like it’s worth it. SEARCH @DAYS… take the time to find a NEW LEADING LADY for Greg VAughan…. ALL of DAYS fans know their long history… I’m not feeling this… no bells and whistles for her return. it’s always about men and sex… with nothing else… mind you.. if this includes Greg Vaughan.. then sure. outside of giving her a job … which usually doesn’t go any where. @DAYS has done a stupendous job of RETURNS. what is it that we don’t already know about Nicole
perhaps watching her be a mother will be a new attribute. a tired dance now and then with Eric ? he’s on a roll… big time… w/ that emmy win. heck.. ME I’ve grown used to Jenny Bear. because every thing about the show is going so swimmingly and on track
I still say… Jade Harlow… sexed out !
Hey, again, Patrick…..yes, give Nicole time to settle herself within.
Eric and she were hot….granted. Perhaps, she and Xander? Other than Theresa, Nicole and Xander did have a bout with sexual tension….remember that? In all the hate-spewing between them, there was something there.
Eric is just lost in a placid sea of perpetual inertia….nothin’ happenin’ with Miss Jennie …….she strikes me as one of those women who circles sex days on a calendar. HaHa….no spontaneity—-fluffy pillows; pristine, ironed, white sheets….rose petals everywhere….
hilarious, Jenny Bear – oy she was never better for that belly laugh whenst she spilled the bottle and caught up. well , you know what I mean… the story never goes full throttle on some characters.. writers write to give character story.. and bam… it’s all over in a whiff… TAKE @GH Carly in Pentonville. argh! was Jason crying when they last spoke. the intimacy was their. oy! Sonny! so far she’s been loud obnoxious and abrasive.. so insulting to the audience… that she’s this spelled out. for a lauded actress till the end of time… oy I will bell and whistle FV choices. ACT
anyway… OK like @GH Finn… nary a sign of his self-loathing – that syringe with yellow syrup shoulda meant some thing. you’ve got to hand it to Frank Valentini… he listens not to the “fans” . fleshing out Michael Easton… STILL , after 6 years.
@DAYS
Jenny Bear does in fact circle her calendar for nakedness….
I’ll make her donuts
TRUTH: I cried… When Nicole left with daughter in toe. WANTING for Nicole to understand herself. OY… Hello @SZima
“…
Nicole will hopefully be over her ‘weepy’ stage and back to her old spunky self ” here ye here ye
in order for her return to mean something.. @DAYS has got to hire back alive.. her mother Fay Walker.. thereby giving her a dance with ; Abe, Roman, John, Victor…
Nicole.. who has no support system… or family.. or friends.. always looks forlorn, like shes about to cave in on herself. GIVE HER A SOUNDING BOARD. a life line.. for someone who ??? is on board to fully support.. or give Nicole some stability.. regardless of her choice in men. so she became so weepy… with no SNAP. DRIVE my Nicole.
so their.. really… alas,,, she’s like a Kristen.. at least Kristen had root.. in the DiMera. Ari walker is lauded . give this actress a foundation.. hopfully the actress who plays Fay Walker will do recurring… if @DAYS is going to take this act back. PLEASE for the love of god… give her , her mother back.
love to see Nicole again. Just as long as the time traveling egg mutant (or his literally heartless ghost) doesn’t come with her.
Love, love, live here! Now if Sammi and EJ would just return
I truly think.. James Scott.. had just had it… with the hit and run… WRITERS of ole’
would he return… @Ron Carlivati helming the DRIVE?
I believe so.. yet his person.. seems to have that spirituality and mind wander of better things to keep his mind
he’s thee consummate… EJ with Peter Blake.. BOTH had ALL thee HOT ME OUT. I TRULY WISH Jason Brooks would return
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Eric and Nicole are the hottest couple on daytime
I am hoping this is not a short-term return. I want Arianne to be returning for the long haul. I know she said last year she didn’t want to be a regular (a.k.a. contract), but maybe she has changed her mind? If not, am hoping another soap picks her up, then!
Maybe she is returning on a recurring basis? Anyone know yet?
I’ll be glad to see her!
Interesting observation about this news…the comments on this site are all positive, while the comments on another site are all negative!
Anyway, Nicole will hopefully be over her ‘weepy’ stage and back to her old spunky self, ready to give that a$$ Brady the ‘what for’!
Thank u days for making this happen!.. #ericole needs a epic reunion and both actors deserve a kick ass story. Cant wait. A.Z. and G.V. have the best chemistry and they melt my screen! Watch out Brady…
I like what you say, Damien…..however, Eric has been domesticated…..Nicole should relax, for the time being…..see where things go…
Will Nicole and Eric be able to recapture their dizzying romance? Can they still “melt my screen”? LOL.
I would love for things to happen your way….oh, what fun it would be watching Miss Jennie develop a temper—does she have one?
I guess she does. Mama bear did ‘claw’ Eve over her son.
Let’s see if she can fight for her man.
Didn’t she give Daniel up to Nicole without a fight? Hmmmm. It’s a vicious circle, my friend.
Anything that breaks up Jen-Eric is a win in my book.
i’m excited that at least.. @DAYS , RC, ARE addressing … the coupling of Eric and Jenn ; Hope and Rafe. boy, are both these pairs tired doozy. how can two of the hottest men.. be paired with staid, time to make the donuts, keep to yourself.. you are not hot enough; for Eric and Rafe. simply put
the TRUTH
I don’t care much for DAYS OF OUR LIVES, which over the years has felt like a Nickelodeon kid’s production. I appreciate Ron and his creative brilliance. I also ADORE Arianne Zucker. She is the dark horse of this legendary soap opera. Her presence had been greatly missed. I hope she stays for a long time.
This is great news.Could be very interesting to see what Days plans are for her.
Good show! She’s a professional and a hard worker. Give her the job back.
She chose to leave in the first place!
We don’t know that. PR is sometimes suspect.
I’ve had enough of Nicolle, so am not anxious for her to come back.
I am so glad that Arianne is returning. I have really missed her.Days of our lives is the only soap I have watched Days for years I also really love the character who play Eric. I hope the writers will give them episodes on the show before they break them up again.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

Photo: ABC
ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”
You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.
Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.

Television Academy and NATAS Open Reunification Talks After Split Almost 50 Years Ago

In what could prove to be a massive shake-up ahead, both the TV Academy (ATAS), who presides over the Primetime Emmys, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), who preside over the Daytime Emmys, are in exploratory reunification discussions to merge the two organizations into one.
Both sides received an overwhelming vote and support from their boards to evaluate what a unified Academy could look like. However there is no formal calendar at this juncture for the discussions. In addition, because of the ongoing unification talks that should occur, the TV Academy board has voted to extend all current sitting Governors’ terms by one year so they can see the process through.
Boards at both organizations voted overwhelmingly to evaluate what a unified Academy could make possible: a strong vision for the Academy’s future, more effective thought leadership for the industry, broader service and support for members coast-to-coast, and new momentum and opportunities across the full complement of national Emmy competitions.

AFTER NEARLY 50 YEARS, CAN THE EMMYS BE UNDER ONE BANNER?
In a joint statement, ATAS and NATAS shared, “Television remains the most powerful medium we have to shape culture and prompt conversations that define us—no matter the size of the screen, With the business of television undergoing such a monumental transformation, this is the right moment to explore a reunification of our Academies, providing our members and our industry with a bolder voice advocating for them and a stronger partner to navigate the future with them.”
If the reunification talks continue, this would be the first time since the two Emmy organizations split back on June 30, 1977 that they have tried to come together, all of this after almost three decades of often uneasy and strained tension between the two.
The most recent joint change came in 2022 when a move of the game show categories went from NATAS to ATAS’ and now are in the Primetime Emmys.
Deadline notes that a unification of the two television academies who overall preside over nighttime and daytime programming would be similar how SAG and AFTRA used to represent performers from completely different dayparts of work.
Could the Daytime Emmys finally see some love in primetime and have their major categories televised as part of the annual kudofest every September? Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will take place live on Monday, September 14th starting at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT and air on NBC and stream on Peacock emanating from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. While, the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on Friday, October 30, time to be announced, live from the Hollywood Palladium and will be streamed on watchtheemmys.tv
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) is a service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry. It recognizes excellence in television with the coveted Emmy Awards for News & Documentary, Sports, Daytime and Children’s & Family programming, as well as achievements in television Technology & Engineering.
The Television Academy (ATAS) strives to shape and advance the dynamic television landscape; cultivate a diverse, inclusive and accessible professional community; and advocate for the television industry while capturing the spirit of a new generation of content creators and industry professionals. Through innovative programs, publications and events, the Academy and its Foundation foster and empower storytellers. The Academy also celebrates those who excel in the industry recognizing their achievements through awards and accolades, including the renowned Emmy Award. Membership in the Academy is open to working professionals in the television industry.
So, would you like to see the Primetime Emmy and the Daytime Emmys fold into one show if the two unions reached a unification arrangement? Do you hope that after almost 50 years, the two organizations can finally make some serious headway? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
