Days Of Our Lives
Arianne Zucker Sues Days of our Lives for Alleged Sexual Harassment; Contract Said to Have Expired
Arianne Zucker. who has played Nicole Walker since 1998 on Days of our Lives, is reportedly suing the production entity of Days of our Lives.
The actress is said to be allegedly (according to court documents obtained by TMZ) suing over sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, negligent hiring and supervision, and wrongful termination among other claims stemming from the situation with former co-executive producer Albert Alarr, who was removed and fired from the Peacock streaming soap opera back in August of 2023.
In addition, Zucker is suing the series longtime executive producer, Ken Corday and Corday Productions, Inc. The lawsuit also notes that in October of 2023, when Arianne’s contract was running out, she made efforts to negotiate with Corday Productions.

However, according to the lawsuit, Zucker was given a “take it or leave it” offer and the show would not negotiate in “good faith.” With her previous contract expired last month, the claim is that it amounts to her being fired from her job. She is suing for “wrongful termination.”

In her claims against Alarr, Zucker allegedly notes the former Co-EP’s inappropriate touching, suggestive remarks and more. One of the claims included that the former Co-EP would, “frequently pull her close to his chest and make sexual moans while doing so.”
We will have more on this developing story.
So, what do you think about Arianne Zucker suing Days of our Lives? How would you feel if she is truly gone from the show; which from all accounts it appears that is the case? Comment below.
Arianne Zucker is a gem and a fantastic actress. Nicole is such an intriguing and evolved character. I can’t imagine Nicole not on the show. This is distressing news about retaliation for coming forward for sexual harassment – Adrianne is brave for standing tall. She is using her voice to eliminate AA and others. I thought the scene over at DAYS would have changed for the better with AA being ousted. I feel for Arianne, she is a powerhouse of a performer.
DAYS is in the wrong and I wish other actors on the show would stand tall alongside her, and leave. They are stupid if this is true- and I believe Arianne- that DAYS by cutting her pay. I believe her. What will DAYS be like with Nicole, I mean, she has a son, with Eric—her marriage to EJ, and her daughter, Holly.
Nicole is DAYS. I hope DAYS does not recast the role. I hope we can get Arianne over to General Hospital ASAP… over the years, I thought she’d make a better Carly… but that won’t happen. I could see her as a new character perhaps paired up with Sonny. If GH ever wanted to bring Connie back, I could see her in that role. I wish Arianne well and hope she WINS the case, though, it may be hard for her to jump over to other soap with her suing DAYS, however, I think things will work out for her and hopefully, she’ll land a role on GH.
Much love and support to you, Arianne
What will DAYS be like ***without*** Nicole, I mean, she has a son, with Eric—her marriage to EJ, and her daughter, Holly.
Wow, the Days production team is going to be sorry they let their former executive run amok and unchecked as long as they did. This could be the tip of the iceberg.
I haven’t watched the show in ages, but I have it all recorded so I hope to catch up. I love her character and from what I know of Arianne I like her; I believe her. Ugh; so many negative things coming out about so many people in all facets of entertainment. It’s getting harder and harder to escape into fiction when we know how screwed up so many of the actors or behind-the-scenes people…directors, producers, etc…are. Catch-22. It’s good to see people taking a stand against wrongs, yet it’s disheartening at the same time to hear. I have to REALLY make an effort to suspend my disbelief when I’m watching shows these days so as to not break the fourth wall.
She has been through So MUCH!!! It’s absolutely sickening. I hope she wins and if it means the end of Nicole, so be it. Good Luck Ari!!
They need to settle with her and get her back on contract. Nicole can’t leave Salem!
Agree
YES!
Good for her! Too bad it has come to this though. It would seem as though Ken Corday is a real SOB. He apparently knew what was going on and did nothing about it until he had to fire Alaar to save face.
I know a petition was signed last year which most of the cast signed. I think most of us can guess which old time leading ladies did not sign it.
I hope she will get support from her cast mates. That they won’t be afraid for their jobs if they do so. It just sounds like such a toxic enviroment on that set that Corday fostered.
It is obvious that she is a decent person and terrific actress and hopefully she will be snapped up by another show ASAP!! Just had a thought on that one.Can she still be hired by another show while she is suing another? I hope the other shows are not so afraid of Corday that it would preclude them hiring her?
That sucks! If she is gone, I would love to see her show up on GH.
Maybe this is the time to quit watching the show. It’s getting boring anyway and Ari was my favorite on the show!
Good luck Arianne Zucker on your next job. Maybe GH? Cuz gurl you gone from NBC. Just ask Victoria Rowell. Valid arguments but…you’re going up against a network skilled at fighting this sort of lawsuit. JMO.
Not sure if GH has any room for any more new characters at the moment, but since they seem to be on a “bringing back long lost characters from the 1990s” kick at the moment, I could see her as a Sarah Webber recast. (That would be Elizabeth’s older sister, for the mortals who weren’t watching GH back then)
She could also come back as Skye Chandler to the Quartermaine fold (and bring Lila Ray and Alcazar).
She would be a great Skye !!
Well, if my theories are correct, we will be seeing Alcazar soon, and a SORASed Lila Rae might already be in Port Charles, as Kristina’s new girlfriend, Blaze. So Skye coming back with them would make sense. Not so sure they would want to recast that character though, since Skye was apparently the only character in history to appear on all three of the ABC soaps.
And of course, she would at least have to dye her hair red, because Skye would never be a blonde.
She’s a bit too young to play Skye. GH has an over abundance of female characters in their 50s and 60s that are struggling to get meaningful storylines (Alexis and Felicia for starters). No need to add to that grouping.
Skye would be in her mid 50s now; Arianne will be 50 in May. Not a stretch to play the character. And GH only has three women in their 50s: Carly, Nina, and Ava. The Quartermaine family should have more characters from the past; from their history. I’d love for them to also bring back Dillon and resurrect AJ. I really don’t care if we have to say AJ’s a vampire, lol. Just bring him back.
I hope so; they’ve been saying Ted King was coming back for a few years now and so far nothing.
I’m willing to bet any number of souls that most (if not all) of the recent departure of long time cast members – most of whom were women – were because of Alarr. Some of them have actually said as much, if a Devil remembers correctly.
The question is, will any of them return, now that he’s gone. And considering Days is still taping at least 6 months ahead, it might be a while before we know the answer.
If that’s the case then the other dozen or so actresses could also sue. The fact is everyone is taking a pay cut. She’s not super-uber special or better than anyone else on the show. She’s a very talented actress. Corday and Peacock had to investigate properly and follow protocol. Do I believe her allegations? You bet. But she waited this long to sue? No ma’am!
You have no idea why she “waited this long.” If E. Jean Carroll can sue Trump DECADES after what he did, and many have sued others for what they experienced decades ago, then she certainly can. So it’s a “YES” and go for it, ma’am.
This can’t be good. She’s a big draw for the show, I think.
I believe what she says, and if everyone stops and thinks about it, this explains a lot. How people have left and refuse to come back. This may be the final demise of days.
Just a question/ Wasn’t Judi Evans part of this investigation of Alarr’s? Also, Lindsay Arnold was written off quickly also. I wonder if both of these ladies were harassed by Alarr? Arianne Zucker is a smart lady and has a great reputation of being a great actress. Off screen, she is a great humanitarian for kids with her camp with Shawn Christian ..I will miss her onscreen. She is the only actress that I have watched on Days (which is a long time) who has the best chemistry with Greg Vaughn. Best of luck with your fight, Air!
Haven’t watched Days in decades, but I am sooooo glad that Arianne is making her voice heard. Especially after the Access Hollywood tape. You go girl!!!
This is messy. Albert should not have been allowed to run amok and say and do what is alleged. I was wondering if Nicole was going to return and now I have my answer. I’m a bit surprised since Jude is her son. I was bored with Holly, so I’m not sorry to see her go. Nicole’s story was also getting a bit stale so I’m not terribly sad to see her go.
One of the best actresses on daytime. This has been a messy situation for months. People need to feel safe at work, without others making comments to make them feel uncomfortable. I have to question if the other veteran actors/actresses knew about the situation and if they assisted in getting Albert out the door.
I have seen so many comments that people would love to see her on “General Hospital.” I couldn’t agree more. I see her as a sibling for Ava.
Ava doesn’t need any more sisters. One was more than enough.
This is… unsettling, and so sad that essentially her career as Days of Our Lives is done because of two abusive men. Absolutely f**king disgusting. Corday Productions should be incredibly worried about the sexual harassment claims, and if others are called to testify… this’ll end that soap. And I hope she bleeds everyone for all they are worth. And, if she can prove the offer they may have provided was substantially less, due to her whistleblowing, then she has a strong claim there, too.
At this point, I’m going to need Peacock / NBCUniversal to step-in and demand the soap be placed in their control ⏤ something NBC should have done years ago. Buy-out Sony Pictures Television, bring in Universal Television, bring in a team of producers and writers capable of handling a streaming soap in 2024 (if it’s even worth saving at this point) and make this set as healthy as possible. The set of Days of Our Lives is toxic as f**k and, at this point, I fail to see how the promotion of Janet Drucker is going to help in the long-run.
The fact this is picking up mainstream press (Rolling Stone with their disgusting headline) is a lot. Also, where the f**k is SAG-AFTRA in this?! Do they don’t care? Because it seems as if they don’t. They didn’t during the strike when Alarr’s disgusting nature was exposed, and they don’t care now. Some union, huh? Thank you, Michael, for reporting on the things happening in daytime.
You’d do right by bringing Ari back to Days immediately! You will be loosing a lot more than a lawsuit! The fans will surely boycott DOOL’s in a loud & clear voice! As for the pervert, he is history & should spend his DAYS in hell Shame on him!!!
If they do not reinstate her and award her monetary damages…. I will boycott the show and I encourage others to do the same!
Would like her to come back on Days. Very disappointed that she’s gone!!
huge mistake letting Arianne Zucker go. She is the glue holding the show together……………
Haven’t watched since the “traitors” went to Peacock but just looking at that Alar person, I believe Ari and the many others making the same claims. I remember as a teenager many years ago having to suffer the embarrassment , when the owner of the shop was I worked in “copped a feel” any and everything he felt like it. No laws of any kind then, you just put up with it or quit, which I did.
A woman told to “ Take it or leave it”? So WHAT ABOUT KEN CORDAY LEAVE?
Why do MEN think a woman has to put up with sexual harrassment? CORDAY needs to GO and Ari should STAY.
