B&B's Brad Bell previews Jacob Young's return as Rick & big story for Stephanie!

Brad Bell, the executive producer and head writer of the three-time Daytime Emmy Award winning drama series, The Bold and the Beautiful revealed to TV Guide what his plans are for bringing the character of Rick Forrester back to the canvas … this time played by returning vet, and Emmy winner, Jacob Young! And in addition, as  fall heads full steam ahead, what is Bell going to write for Emmy contention? You know, that big social story that has won them award after award, and who will it center around?  He fills TVG in.

But first, Jacob Young, who audiences just saw fire a gun in the direction of Erica Kane on Friday’s finale of All My Children returned today to B&B.  And, Bell had this to say as a preview of what is tom come of Rick’s return!  “Rick will eventually team with brother Thorne in a vicious battle with Ridge over control of Forrester Creations. And that’ll force Rick’s mom and Ridge’s lady love, Brooke to choose sides. Ridge will become more drunk with power and driven by ego and that really pisses off Rick.”

And as far as if Rick will get entangled in former flame, Amber’s drama again, it  looks like it according to Bell!  “Amber’s not at the top of her game right now and she’s a bit desperate. She will reach out to Rick, the love of her life, and try to bag the guy. But he knows what he’s dealing with, so he’s going into this hookup with eyes wide open.”

Bell then revealed he has major plans ahead for Stephanie Forrester for a big story in November that will give Susan Flannery a chance to shine again, and something he may look to take all the way into the Emmys! “It is something that’s really going to stretch her as an actress and be very revealing. Her character, Stephanie, will be struggling with an issue that’s very present in society. It’s going to challenge our matriarch in a way she’s never been challenged before.”

Any thoughts on what it could be? We have our guesses.

I actually followed Jacod Young from B&B to AMC years ago and I am now obsessed with AMC and pray for it to continue online, but I have now pledged my afternoon soap loyalty to CBS. I can’t wait to see what Debbie Morgan and Jacob Young bring to the table this time. ABC/Frons’ loss is a gain for CBS. I wish them much success.

Stephanie should lose Eric to Jackie and it will put some fire in his role, he turned intonanold man when he went back to Stephanie. He also looks like a wimp when he forgives her of all the awfulthings she has done. Jackie would be the best choice for him she is sexy and he is to when he is allowed to be.
