Over the weekend, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) was released from the hospital after two weeks following the incident where she was struck by a car on February 2nd.

Godfey took to Twitter on Friday and related:  “Thank you again everyone for your concern. After two longs week I finally got to go home tonight. Now I started my long journey to recovery.  This is definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do but I can’t tell you how truly loved and supported I feel. I’m beyond lucky.”

In addition, and in very touching tweet last night on Valentine’s Day, Godfrey said:  “Happy Valentine’s Day loves! Hold your loved ones tight tonight life is so truly precious. I am so endlessly grateful to still be here.”

Please post your thoughts and well-wishes to Linsey in the comment section below, as she moves on to the next part of her recovery!

Two weeks in the hospital. So glad she’s home. Get well Linsey. We’re glad you’re still here too.

What’s going on with the police investigation on the crash?

Physical rehabilitation can be the hardest, and often loneliest, of journeys. I am certain she will have those closest to her and her fans giving her all the support possible. But the grit of fighting back from such a debilitating, sudden injury is within Linsey. IF she can survive as an actor in Hollywood, truly she can (and will) survive this huge challenge ahead. Don’t know if she’ll read this comment but one suggestion would be to go and find a good psychologist who could work with her to do regular visualization of when she is fully recovered. That can… Read more »

Yes, that is for sure. Some of her survival skills will be there for her with her rehabilitation time now. Hope she feels the support of her fans and it is helpful for her too.

Just remember that there is a Father God of all creation and that He loves you an has kept you protected. If you do not know Him personally ask Him into your heart and except His Son as your personal Savior to protect you for the remaining of your life here on earth. Let Him guide you each and everyday.

GH’s Charles Shaughnessy On Victor’s Villainy: “He’s Just Making Trouble for All of the Fan Favorites! He’s Just Making Their Lives Miserable”

In pretty short order, Victor Cassadine’s re-emergence in Port Charles, and now played by daytime vet, Charles Shaughnessy, has caused plenty of havoc on ABC’s General Hospital.  Shaughnessy, who was much beloved as Shane Donovan on Days of our Lives, debuted on GH back in September of 2021.

You can look at the body count, or the people Victor has under his thumb, to know the impact he is making on the canvas.

In a new interview in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest (on newsstand now), Shaughnessy weighs-in on being the treacherous Cassadine.

Charles shared: “I mean, he’s just making trouble for all of the fan favorites! He’s just making their lives miserable.  He’s the guy who killed Luke Spencer.  He’s the guy who put Anna in jail and tried to break up her relationship with Valentin.  He’s just miserable to Holly. He’s just dreadful! But it’s such great fun, I mean, the more dreadful the better, really. He’s the villain you love to hate.”

So, how and just when Victor will get his comeuppance is on everyone’s mind in the viewing audience as well as for characters such as: Laura (Genie Francis), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), Lucy (Lynn Herring), Holly (Emma Samms), Anna (Finola Hughes), Ava (Maura West), Selina (Lydia Look), and many more.

Victor’s evil deeds seemed to reach new heights during the Holly Sutton storyline. Now the question is, who will he go after next, given what would seem to be his quest for the necklace containing diamonds from the Ice Princess?  Stay tuned.

What do you think of Charles’ portrayal of Victor? Who do you hope takes down Victor? Comment below.
