- 10) The Vicker Man Premiere (OLTL). David Vickers movie poster, “Hold the Diploma†porno film in its place, need we say more? Brillz!

- 11) Sonny and Brenda Wedding (GH). Benard & Marcil Giovinazzo played these scenes with emotion, love, & angst. It was the only thing we loved about Sonny & Brenda redo!

- 12) Laura Wright wins her first Daytime Emmy (GH). Best Emmy moment, a deserving Wright after 20 years in Daytime, got the gold as Lead Actress!

- 13) Shane’s suicide attempt on the rooftop of Llanview High. (OLTL). In the best social issue of the year; teen suicide via bullying, our hearts broke as Shane (Austin Williams) told his parents he wanted to end his life!

- 14) John-Paul Lavoisier’s performance as Rex when “Gigi†dies. (OLTL). JP turned into the ultimate leading man, with his emotional star-turn of a grieving Rex who has to say goodbye to his beloved Gigi!

- 15) Venice wins its first Daytime Emmy! (Venice). Crystal Chappell’s hard work, creativity and tenacity was awarded for bringing Venice, the most electrifying web soap, its first gold statuette!

- 16) DAYS finally puts gay characters on the canvas (DAYS). It took 46 years but DAYS finally put some rainbow colors into the Salem flag with the addition of Sonny Kiriakis, and Will Horton’s coming out story!

- 17) Robin talks to Stone at the bridge (GH). Kimberly McCullough simple, understated brilliance made us weep as Robin had a talk with Stone about life, death and HIV!

- 18) Carly inject herself with a needle filled with tranquilizers (DAYS). In a powerful moment, Dr. Carly Manning, (Crystal Chappell) whose life has crumbled around her, stabs herself with a syringe & and we’re off to the races…

- 19) Bo and Clint’s showdown in the barn (OLTL). Clint’s heinous plot to destroy Bo & Nora finally came to light, & the “Buch Boys†had it out in a classic scene!

- 2) Jonathan Jackson’s performance in Luke’s Intervention (GH). JJ did the impossible … stole a scene from Tony Geary as Lucky begs his dad to get help for his alcohol addiction!

- 20) Project Orpheus/Faves Return/Hayward in story prominence (AMC). As the series wrapped-up; they gave us Project Orpheus to return the “dead†to the living & gave Mr. Irizarry stuff to sink his teeth into!

- 22) Dante talks to Olivia as she hovers near death (GH). Any mother and son would grab for the hankies when Dante told his dying mother how much he loved her! Thankfully, Liv lived! And, Dominic Zamprogna was touching!

- 23) Dorian leaves Clint to die (OLTL), Robin Strasser’s star turn as Dorian gives Clint a dose of his own medicine by refusing to help him while he was having a heart attack was delicious!

- 24) James Scott as EJ in the grief-sex scenes (DAYS). Only the uber-talented James Scott could play all the drama and sex appeal of this ugly story beat! And we loved him!

- 25) (TIE) Josh Duhamel’s cameo appearance (AMC). In just a brief return Josh Duhamel still sizzled as Leo with his beloved Greenlee, even though it was all in Greens mind!

- 25) (TIE) Susan Lucci as Jane in the Doppelganger story (AMC). We thought we would hate this! But… La Lucci in her final storyline made Jane fun to watch!

- 3) The Tale of the Two Todds (OLTL). Who would have thought we would see the day where St. John & Howarth were on our screens at the same time & in the most riveting story of the year!

- 4) Jake Dies and the aftermath (GH). Brilliant performances from the cast of GH & one of the biggest tearjerkers of the year!

- 5) Michael admits he was raped (GH). Chad Duell’s heart- stopping episodes admitting he was raped in prison to Jason, Sonny and Carly were spellbinding!

- 6) David Canary returns and Stuart is Alive (AMC). It was Canary playing against himself as Stuart comes back to life with a help from his bro, Adam, that topped the Orpheus charts!

- 7) Tad’s speech in the finale (AMC). AMC’s MVP, Michael Knight (as Tad) summed up what we all feel about the folks in P.V. as the series bid farewell!

- 8) Fraternity Row Fantasy Episode (OLTL). OLTL did the unthinkable. Spoofed its own cancellation, got away with it & made us laugh and cry with a cherry on top!

- 9) The Thanksgiving Episode – Matthew “Dies†(OLTL). There was not a dry eye in the house when Matthew flatlines at the end of the episode. Brilliant writing throughout!

- 21) Florencia Lozano’s performance when Tea finds Victor Jr. shot! (OLTL)The sight of seeing a bloody Victor Jr. on the floor and Tea over his body … enough said!
