‘BOLD is Back’ Promo Released: What You Can Expect As the Story Picks Back Up

Photo: JPI

On Monday, to usher in all-new episodes which begin tomorrow on Tuesday, July 21st, The Bold and the Beautiful released a brand new extra-length promo with upcoming never-before-seen moments with their new slogan, “BOLD is Back!”

Brad Bell (executive producer and head writer, B&B) came up with a way to get the show back the quickest and in production during the COVID-19 pandemic, while others shows in television have not even started back yet.  As we know, the other three networks daytime dramas returns are looking like this: Y&R began taping last week, GH was on target to begin this week, while DAYS is looking at a September 1st return to the studio.

In the new B&B promo, looks like Bill (Don Diamont) caused Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) motorcycle accident and that bring in the new doc, “Finn” played by Tanner Novlan on to the scene, plus what is wrong with Sally? (Courtney Hope) … and did Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) marry Shauna (Denise Richards) in Vegas?

Watch the action below, then let us know what upcoming story point has piqued your interest via the comment section.

I am guessing that with all the time off, it gave the writers time to think of some very hot storylines. The promo looked very good but I bet when the other soaps come back to production, there will be some great stuff to see. as for B&B, of course I have to know if Flo lives through that conk on the head she got.

Remember the key to any good story plot is irony. I am wondering if she is going to die and Sally will be jailed for murder. Thus having her own lie bite her in the butt. I was wondering what all that music was about. I felt like I was at a cannibal uprising. And on a side note, I know I said in previous posts that soap operas should be a thing of the past, but curiosity (I know I spelled it wrong) got the better of me. I just wish they didn’t have to ruin the character of… Read more »

B&B’s Scott Clifton On Liam Finding Steffy Passed Out and Unresponsive: “This Is Where It All Combusts”

If you caught Friday’s cliffhanger of The Bold and the Beautiful you know that Liam (Scott Clifton) found Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out cold on her couch as her growing addiction to painkillers has taken hold of her.

That sets the stage for some major drama and potential reckoning for Steffy this week on the CBS Daytime drama series.

In a preview of what to expect, Scott Clifton shared with Soap Opera Digest on their latest issue on newsstands now:  “This is where it all combusts.”

Liam had gone to Steffy’s talk to her about her growing relationship with Finn (Tanner Novlan) and to express his concerns, but he walks into a dire situation for Steffy and their daughter.

Clifton goes on to say on Liam’s state of mind: “He goes into a full panic to th point where he’s slapping her face to get her to snap out of it.”

When Steffy comes to, Scott shares: “She’s disoriented and reactive and defensive. She’s clearly loaded and Liam just asks her, ‘Are you still on pills?”

How does Steffy answer? What comes next? It all could be game-changer for not only Steffy’s relationship with Liam, but Liam’s with Hope (Annika Noelle) as well.

So, what have you thought of Steffy’s addiction to painkillers storyline arc thus far?  Should Liam mind his own business where Dr. Finnegan is concerned?  Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
