Brandon Beemer is the Best Hunk in all of soapland! Yup, B&B’s Owen racked up an impressive percentage of the vote in this years Soap Hunk Awards as presided over by Soaphunks.net.   Beemer’s runner-up was DAYS “hottie” Dr. Daniel, Shawn Christian, and in third place OLTL’s Cristian, David Fumero.  Days of our Lives, but of course, was named Hunkiest Soap of the Year in pretty much a landslide vote.  Check out all the categories by going here to the awards page.

In this week’s Suds Report, TV Guide Canada’s Nelson Branco got a quote/acceptance speech from Mr. Beemer on his hunky win, “! It’s extremely flattering. Soap fans are so loyal. I was very impressed with the voter turnout because my competition was, um, stiff. “As long as I make people happy, especially in these dark times, I’ll continue to take my shirt off while acting my heart out.”

Daphne tagged her photo with: “Ran into some friends in New York! melroseplace #nyc #friends4ever.”

The group were all in town to tape an upcoming interview piece that will air in December on Good Morning America’s third hour, Strahan, Sara and Keke.

In addition, and as many know, former Melrose Place star, Andrew Shue is married to ABC 20/20 co-anchor Amy Robach,  and she posted her own little ditty on Instagram below with the group.

Melrose Place ran for seven seasons from 1992-1999.  An attempt at a reboot on the CW tanked from 2009-2010.  There has never yet been a reboot featuring the original stars of the series.
