Didn’t you create the 4 minute GL tribute clip that they had to edit down for those stupid fashion posings, the Sesame Street thingey and all of Vanessa Williams’s song and dance routines? So will you edit for ATWT’s tribute clip? Maybe Julianne Moore could present the ATWT tribute clip. If not her, then ATWT’s vets should.

GH’s Carolyn Hennesy Addresses Why She Was Not a Part of Nancy Lee Grahn’s ‘Alexis-Centric’ 25th Anniversary Episode

For the past several weeks, savvy General Hospital fans were wondering why on earth was Alexis’ best friend, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), was not a part of Nancy Lee Grahn’s (Alexis) 25th anniversary episode of the ABC daytime drama series, which centered around Alexis saying goodbye to those near and dear before she goes to Pentonville to serve a prison sentence.

After all, Diane and Alexis have been through so much together, that it seemed like a glaring omission. Was Hennesy not asked back for the episode?  The answer came in the form of Hennesy herself via in a response to a fan’s tweet on her being MIA from the episode.

As it turns out, the ever-busy Hennesy was shooting a film in Atlanta and was not available at the time of the tape date of Grahn’s special episode.

Carolyn tweeted: “Not their fault, my dear. I was off filming on Atlanta!!! Cuz you know Diane wouldn’t have missed it!”  That came in response to this: “Watched the big @NancyLeeGrahn ep of #GH and I’m perplexed that there was no Diane! @carolynhennesy One of the most fun TV female friendships and she wasn’t there to send her off? Come on you guys @GeneralHospital”

Mystery solved! Carolyn would have gladly been at the GH set that day in a heartbeat, if she could have.

So, happy to know that GH did not forget about Diane for the Alexis-Centric episode, but had to work around it? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

REPORT: Days of our Lives Renewal Update: Sony and NBC In Talks, Insiders Optimistic While Show Pauses Production

Every year around this time, Days of our Lives renewal has been its own cliffhanger.  With the show taping episodes so far in advance and wrapping their current season, the series paused production and went dark on April 16th, according to TV Line.

Now comes the waiting game and according to a report from Deadline on Wednesday, NBC and Sony are continuing to be in talks to bring the series back for its 57th season. While no one from any camp is officially commenting on the negotiations, their sources are reporting that things do look optimistic, as of now.

The report indicates that in anticipation of a renewal, the producers have been making if-come deals with key cast members in the past few weeks and the writing team is said to be hard at work on potential scripts for the new season.

In the past, DAYS’ renewal had taken several months to pan out, because of how the show’s distributor Sony Pictures Television has to adjust its business model to continue the show without going in the red.

Even though over the years DAYS had declined in the linear ratings, there appears to be a commitment by the studio and NBC to find ways to keep it on the air.

So, are you hopeful that DAYS will survive yet another negotiation for renewal? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
