Bryan Craig Shares He’s Ready to Return to Daytime Either to GH, Y&R, B&B or DAYS
ABC’s Grand Hotel star and Daytime Emmy-winner Bryan Craig sent out a tweet on Friday morning that took soap twitterverse by storm, fueling speculations and thoughts of just where would be the best place for this talented actor to return; if one of the network daytime dramas added them to their cast.
Of course, first in line would seem to be General Hospital, where he played the role of Morgan Corinthos from 2013-2016, and made an appearance back on the show in 2018. As viewers of GH know, Morgan is presumed dead. Bringing Morgan back could add a lot of sparks into GH and their canvas.
Bryan tweeted: “I’m ready to work and up for grabs so who’s it gonna be?@GeneralHospital @YRInsider @BandB_CBS @nbcdays”
Another intriguing twist would be if Craig were to end up at Days of our Lives, where former GH head writer, Ron Carlivati is at the helm and is very familiar with Bryan’s work.
The Young and the Restless could certainly add some excitement to their storylines with an addition of a new character or one that is recast and played by Craig, and then there is B&B which would seem on paper; the least likely candidate given they are a half-hour show, but you never know.

How dissapeointng he would offer himself up to the other shows, doesn’t he have faith GH would pick him up again? considering they haven’t recasted. He really seems desperate for work, again dissapointed he didn’t give GH a chance to respond first privately and if he didn’t like their offer then he could of offer his services to the other shows, he’s a jerk but he’s talented, he should of had more faith on his talent, oh well, YR, or BB and DOOL can have his sorry ass, GH has enough talent to keep on going.

I do not post much but always enjoy reading your posts over the years..Enough off this tired alzheimer storyline that is dragging on for Emmy nominations purpose..Laura Wright’s talents have been wasted so much the past 2 years. GH is the worst soap out of the 4 for about 3 years now..Which is such a shame because they have the best actors/actresses in daytime…If Bryan Craig returns to GH, which he will, I hope they give us a good umbrella storyline and not the same old back from the dead, held prisoner or amnesia storyline.
Really? He offered himself up for all the shows. He is a human and needs to work! If GH wants him that’s where he would go first as stated in the article. Frankly I would love for him to be back on GH but ultimately it’s up to the show to take him back or not. Otherwise, bringing him to days wouldn’t be a bad idea either. They also have plenty of talent he could play off of. Who could he play?

I can say for the record, that Morgan was never in Hell. And from the folks upstairs who still take my calls, he wasn’t in Heaven either. So my guess would be that little bomb in Julian’s car might have knocked him on his head hard enough to wipe his memory, and they’ll play the old amnesia card for a few months.
What about recasting him on Y and R as Daniel, Phyllis’ son? And then they can pair him with the new Courtney Hope character, be it Sally or someone else, such as Heather Williams or Daisy.
I have a feeling that General Hospital is going to TRY and lure him back as Morgan, and i am NOT here for that. I would love to see him come to The Young and the Restless, however, I also know that Josh Griffith will fail to write for him. At this point, Days of Our Lives might be the safest route to take, as Ron Carlivati wrote for him on General Hospital, and I could see him giving him material in Salem! On a side note, and no shade, but I guess primetime did not wok in his favour, so he’s coming back to a medium he should have never left.

Technically he should be, but considering Claire is now literally the age that her mother SHOULD be, it’s not like ages are all that relevant in Salem.
Though lets be honest here…. he doesn’t really look like the offspring of two blonde parents like Kayla & Steve, does he?
He might do well in the role if he were willing to lighten his hair… but I’d still rather see him back on GH.

Toss this Theo trash out with the Crimson lights garbage and bring Bryan to Genoa city along with Zac Tinker as Scotty and Fenn Baldwin and boost the Baldwin clan! Michael and Lauren are core characters and we need a real 3rd fam after the Abbotts and Newmans!

I agree with your thing about Theo. I can not stand this guy either. Maybe another actor would make a difference.I can’t stand the thought of him with Lola, especially after the number Kyle and Summer did on her. She deserves better! As for the Baldwin’s, I’d rather have Lauren’s son Scott come back and maybe Michael’s trouble maker mom.
Would love to see Bryan Craig back on GH. He’s such a talented actor, and was very deserving of the two Emmys he won. Characters have been coming back from the dead on soaps for 40+ years, so what’s one more, lol. It’s as woven into the fabric of soaps as the evil twin, the love triangle, the baby switch, and the list goes on. I’m sure GH could put together a compelling story to explain Morgan being alive, and it would definitely create a lot of storyline implications for many characters on the show.
If Frank V. needs to clear room in the budget to make it happen, I have a list of characters that can take the nearest car, bus, plane, train, or boat out of Port Charles.
Agree with you on clearing room, although I don’t think Morgan is needed. At last count, there’s currently 30 performers on contract. That doesn’t even include some recurring vets that heavily used (and needed).
Could also come up with a list of missing characters that are needed more on the canvas than Morgan.

Don’t want to see a resurrection of Morgan, so NO to Bryan back on GH. Plus he is showing no loyalty to GH by offering his services to I have to assume the highest bidder if he’s so lucky to pick and chose.
General Hospital of course. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. General Hospital please bring Bryan back aka Morgan. Sonny and Carly need their son to come home. I thought they were bringing him back when Carly was in Ferncliff but it didn’t hsppen. Now is the perfect time. When Sonny loses Mike he needs this.
I would love to see this fine looking young man back on GH, but that’s the beauty of being talented, you can choose what you want to do. We have no idea what things were like at GH for Brian, may have been great, may have been strained, but either way, I’d love to see him back at GH. I can already picture the scenes with Sonny, Carly, MICHAEL, Joss, AVA!!! OMG please GH bigwigs, work your magic!!!!!!

Funny you saying that. I was thinking maybe the body found is not really Nelle’s. Chase was supposed to check it out in the morgue but he never mentioned it when he went to the bar afterwards. I was thinking maybe Morgan who is still alive rescued Nelle and they will show up in P.C when least expected.

Obviously the body isn’t Nelle. They keep making a point of mentioning that the body was found “on the Pennsylvania side of the river” which seems to be setting up a scenario where the PA authorities are going to probably dispose of the body via cremation when nobody from Port Charles shows up to claim it.
Since Julian is still legally Nelle’s husband, the PA authorities would probably contact him for permission of what to do with the body, and Julian (not really giving a shit) would probably give them the OK to burn her up.
So in typical soap fashion, nobody will ever actually get anywhere near this body to realize that it’s NOT actually Nelle.
On the other horn, I do think it’s interesting that you think Morgan might have found Nelle. Where ever Morgan has been for the last couple of years though, I suspect he can’t remember who he is. But it would be funny if he just found Nelle at random. If a Devil remembers correctly, Nelle showed up in Port Charles shortly after Morgan’s supposed “death”, so I don’t think the two of them have ever actually met.
GH—-Don’t let this great actor go to another soap. It is time for Morgan to return!

2026 Daytime Emmy Awards: ‘Extra’ Partners with NATAS for Pre-Ceremony Red Carpet Stream; Week of Segments Leading to Ceremony and Post-Coverage
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced on Thursday that the syndicated entertainment news series, Extra will be its partner for exclusive coverage of the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards being held on Friday, October 30 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The 2026 Daytime Emmys as previously reported can be seen streamed via the The Emmys,YouTube channel, via watch.theemmys.tv, as well as on the official Emmys app, available for phones, tablets, and smart TVs.
Here’s a breakdown of the pre, during and post Daytime Emmys coverage via Extra below!
Beginning Monday, October 26, Extra will feature five nights of dedicated Daytime Emmys segments leading up to the ceremony, giving fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the award show.
In addition, Mona Kosar Abdi, Weekend Host & Senior Correspondent with Extra will host the pre-show red carpet stream on the @TheEmmys Youtube channel.
Extra host and Dancing with the Stars judge, Derek Hough will present during the ceremony, and correspondent Terri Seymour will also host coverage throughout the evening.
Extra’s weekend edition (A WEEK FOLLOWING the ceremony) will features notable red carpet moments, winner reactions, and exclusive footage from the night’s festivities.
The entertainment news program is also nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards going into the ceremony.

As previously announced, Lifetime Achievement honoree Genie Francis (Laura, General Hospital) will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by her husband, Jonathan Frakes.

Congratulations are in order for three-time Emmy winner, Tom Pelphrey (ex-GL and ATWT) and his fiancée Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco! The couple welcomed their second baby daughter together on October 12, and revealed they named the little bundle of joy, Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey.
Tom and Kaley shared the news via their Instagram accounts on Wednesday with some adorable baby pics. Cuoco captioned the photo“🎀Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey🎀. 💖10/12/26💖. There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing.
Cuoco added, “We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete 😭Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! 😂💕”

Philomena now joins big sister, Matilda mwho was born in 2023, as part of the Pelphrey/Cuoco family! Tom and Kaley began dating in 2022 and became engaged in 2024.
Daytime fans first saw the talented actor on Guiding Light as Jonathan Randall, the son of Reva Shayne (Kim Zimmer). Tom won two Daytime Emmys for his memorable performances during his run from 2004-2009.
He later played Mick Dante on As the World Turns from 2009-2010, before heading to work in primetime and motion pictures. Last month, Pelphrey one the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role in HBO’s Task.

After winning his Emmy, the expectant dad told E! News, “We’re both so excited. Our daughter’s excited. We’ll see how it goes when it actually gets there.” Tom added, “The things that are new and the things that feel like not a big deal this time. But mom and baby are healthy, so God willing, that keeps up, and we’re thrilled,” added the actor.
Pelphrey took to his own Instagram and said on the birth of his second daughter, “Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. Another miracle. Welcome to our family youngest queen! Kaley you showed up in every way as a partner and a mom even when you weren’t feeling your best- you’re a CHAMPION. The girls and I would be lost without you. Thank God for the gift of this family and these girls.”
