Agree! Accents sound phony and are just annoying. Rama needs to go! I have watched OLTL for years but can see why they are struggling! They better get a better story line or they are history. Sad!!

I agree with Steve about Vimal’s wife. I don’t even know her name and i’ve been watching daily for months now. But she is a bad actress and her accent gets on my nerves as well. Let’s hope this new girl is not as bad!

Having an accent does not make someone’s voice “silly” or “annoying”. It is called being different. Rama is an interesting character, she has just been written terribly. It is not Shenaz’s fault. She is an accomplished actress in her own right. Vimal is also an interesting character. Either way, neither get much story. I am sure that Vimal’s sister will get about 5 minutes a week of airtime. That is why these characters can never be developed. There is a strong possibility that OLTL needs to boost it’s cast up so thtat there are enough players for the switch to… Read more »

Hey Todd, I agree with you. OLTL does try to provide diversity, more than B&B, GH and DAYS. B&B takes place in Los Angeles, where there are many Latinos, African Americans and homosexuals, but you wouldn’t know it watching the show. Salem, where DOOL takes place only has one two hispanics and two african americans and the same goes for GH (Epiphany & Shawn). The world is made of many colors and we all want to see ourselves represented on screen. Maybe that is why cable and internet programs are succeeding, while the networks are failing. I hope when OLTL… Read more »

Shenaz Treasurywala’s accent is REAL and I personally find it very very sexy. She’s also the only reason I even bothered to watch this soap opera nonsense.

General Hospital

GH’s Josh Swickard Stars in HBO Max Film ‘A Hollywood Christmas’

Circle Thursday, December 1st! That’s when you can see General Hospital’s Josh Swickard (Chase) in yet another holiday film.  This time, Swickard stars alongside Jessika Van in A H0llywood Christmas streaming on HBO Max.

In story, A Hollywood Christmas follows Jessica, a successful Christmas movie director, who begins living her own real-life Christmas movie when a handsome television executive named Christopher (played by Swickard), shows up on the set.

Sent by the network to decide if producing Christmas movies are worth the expense, Christopher’s presence threatens to halt production on Jessica’s latest film. With Christopher looking over her shoulder on behalf of the network, Jessica now has to juggle: actors on the set falling in and out of love, an elf dog, and her own romantic feelings for the network exec!

As many are aware, Josh stars in many holiday films, so it’s a bit of send-up about a guy who is in Christmas movies starring in a movie about the making of one.

Warner Brothers posted tune-in info on their official Instagram a few days ago, sharing, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… #AHollywoodChristmas premieres in SIX Days! Spend the #HolidaysWithHBOMax.”

You can check out the trailer below.
