Pratt’s version of Y&R is not my cup of tea but it’s nice to see the ratings bump.

ITA with Mr. X … #YR is almost unwatchable as Pratt is allowed to take a 42-yr old serial viewers have come to love and is totally dismantling it to make into something HE likes writing for! (Character motivation, nuanced acting, pacing, history are all scrapped for his patented all-flash, no substance storytelling!)

ok= It says ratings for the ”week”….. but Just a tidbit; The 30-DAY RATINGS It’s important to know that the networks are the ones putting these 30-day ratings reports together, not Nielsen. They’re using the Nielsen-provided data and their own internal data about multiplatform or encores, which could, in theory, be manipulated in a 100 different ways. Some of the networks even tabulate their 30-day ratings differently, so there’s no consistent way to make one-to-one comparisons. ratings don’t actually measure DVR viewership between days 8 and 30 of a given 30-day period. Meaning that even if you’re a Nielsen home,… Read more »

I’ve always known that press releases touting a specific network are from the network’s PR department. But, what I don’t understand is why they don’t publish the details of their own website streaming, and viewings via OnDemand, iTunes, Hulu (where many ABC & NBC shows are watched), and other channels. Is it all lumped into the press release numbers, or do networks consider this data private and somehow strategic?

I think cbs daytime has the strongest lineup in daytime and has remained intact while abc and nbc daytime has eroded, cbs daytime is clearly the most popular, and a balanced lineup helps their soaps. Y&R,and B&B are in the strongest shape. Impressed with Y&R’s numbers even with some criticism.

The bold and the beautiful has not been my cup of tea in recent years . I love the somewhat extreme / daring storytelling of The Young and the restless which contrasts with the writing of the late Mr Bell ( very good writing make no mistake ) but more in tune with my type of soap consumption . Santa Barbara ( my very dear and much missed soap that Mr Pratt who now writes The Young and the restless used to write for ) , Another World , Guiding light were my favourites and The Young and the restless… Read more »

I have followed Y & R for over 30 years. There have been bad periods before (the Volcano mess comes to mind), but right now the show has become a train wreck. Writing so bad that often even good actors can’t pull it off. And the worst one day in Y & R history, when there was 1. a fakey plane crash 2. a building collapse 3. a high rise fire and no. 4, the absolute worst, the stupid Valentine’s party murder which has gone on so long that no one cares who did it. I hope these writers become… Read more »

I love the b&b but I am getting real tired of the on again off again with liam and steffy, I really feel they should be together,Hope is supposed to be so for morals and she is pregnant, what a joke, she is like her mother and she plays to be so goody goody, loose the baby and get Liam where he belongs, quit dragging it out, it is getting annoying

WATCH: Judith Light in Pink’s New Music Video ‘All I Know So Far’

Now this is a music video! Last night, Pink dropped her music video for her latest single, All I Know So Far.  In it, Pink looks back at her life.

The video features her husband, Carey Hart, their two kids, 9-year-old daughter Willow and 4-year-old son Jameson, Cher, and former OLTL alum, and two-time Tony and Daytime Emmy Award-winning star, Judith Light (Ex-Karen Wolek).

The video directed by Grammy winner Dave Meyers, starts with Pink asking Willow if she wants to hear a story before bed and from there the video turns into a fairytale-esque story with plenty of drama.

Light portrays Pink’s mother in the video in the heart-stopping dramatic fashion and with moments you would expect from her.

Photo: You Tube

As Pink shares her story with her daughter she sets-up the story in the video: “Once upon a time there was a girl who was nine. She liked to be alone, thought she was all grown. Think you got attitude and sass? Doesn’t hold a candle to this bada**. She was fueled by her anger, and anger was her fuel. She hated her family and everyone at school.  Sometimes she’d go crazy, psycho, unhinged. Usually when her mama went off on a binge. She had no direction, she was always so stressed. All she knew is that she didn’t want to be like the rest. This is my story, it’s mine to tell, about how I learned how to break out of my cell. There’s only one way you can truly live free, it lies in the power of when ‘I’ becomes ‘me.’

The song is featured in Pink’s upcoming documentary by the same know All I Know So Far set to debut on May 21st on Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, Pink is set to receive the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards on May 23rd.

On Saturday, Light shared on social media: @Pink what a joy & privilege to be in this powerful new video w/ you & @cher This story of transformation, facing even the most difficult challenges, & being a mother who shares w/ her child her journey & truth about herself! Magnificent”
