Chris Harrison OUT as Host of Upcoming Season of ‘The Bachelorette’

It looks like it won’t be that easy for longtime host of the Bachelor franchise, Chris Harrison to resume his on-screen gig.

News on Friday night is that Harrison will not be back as host for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette which is scheduled to begin shooting at the end of this month.

Speculation began when TMZ reported that Harrison was not quarantining with the rest of the cast at a resort in Albuquerque, New Mexico, prior to the beginning of taping.

In his place, ABC did not announce a host replacement per se, but is bringing in former Bachelorette leads Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe who will ‘support the new Bachelorette through next season.’

In a joint statement on the situation by ABC and Warner Horizon it read: “Chris Harrison will not be hosting the next season of The Bachelorette. We support Chris in the work that he is committed to doing. In his absence, former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will support the new Bachelorette through next season. As we continue the dialogue around achieving greater equity and inclusion within The Bachelor franchise, we are dedicated to improving the BIPOC representation of our crew, including among the executive producer ranks. These are important steps in effecting fundamental change so that our franchise is a celebration of love that is reflective of our world.”

Harrison’s on-air role began to erode following statements he made on current Bachelor finalist Rachael Kirkconnell, where he seemed to defend her after she had come under fire when photos of her attending an antebellum plantation-themed fraternity party in 2018 came to light on social media.

Later, Chris granted his first interview on being sidelined for Monday’s After the Final Rose special as host to GMA’s Michael Strahan, which even Strahan did not think passed the muster.

So, what do you think about Chris Harrison being removed as host for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette? Comment below.

Adam Huss Back to GH as Nikolas Cassadine

According to Soaps.com. Huss aired today on the January 31st episode of the ABC daytime drama series and will finish out the scenes that were written to be portrayed by Coloma.

Adam previously subbed for Coloma back in September 2021 and again in November 2022.

After it was announced that Coloma was leaving GH, the network and the series agreed that it would be best that Marcus did come in to tape his last episodes since he was recovering from Covid-19 at the time.  Thus, we are seeing those episodes featuring Huss now airing in early February.
