The beautiful and talented Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) after many rumors, and stops and starts with renewed talks with Days of our Lives, is now on her way back to the NBC soap, officially!

Word came down exclusively today via TV Guide with an interview with the fan favorite on her return.  What we do know is that Nadia will not be on air till January 4th 2013, but will return to work in September! So how will the show deal with Chloe’s now hooker past? We hear her return will be centered around her son, Parker!  Here are a few excerpts from the conversation with TVG below!

Nadia on how Chloe was made a call-girl at the end of her last run on DAYS:  “Chloe is so near and dear to my heart and even I would have written her off after that storyline. She was spiraling out of control and the fans had stopped being able to recognize the character. I couldn’t recognize her, either! A lot of what made Chloe so lovable — her integrity, her fun, her wit — was gone and I don’t blame anyone for dropping her from the show. There wasn’t a whole lot left for her to do but, at the same time, I never felt like her story was done. There was no huge, climactic ending for her. She just went off to be with her child and sing in a nightclub in Chicago…which is, like, 45 minutes from Salem.”

Nadia on what will happen when Chloe returns:  “I have heard she’s going to come back as her old self again, the Chloe with good self-esteem, a stronger and more confident Chloe who can really stand up for herself and not be bullied. Toward the end there, she was being bullied by everyone in Salem! No more. She’s coming back a lot more mature and who knows? (Laughs) Maybe she’ll get some revenge! There are so many possibilities for the character and they’ve only told me a little bit right now because they don’t trust me with the information. It’s been very hush-hush.”

What do you think of Nadia returning to DAYS? How would you like to see Chloe integrated back into the canvas?  Who should be her love interest?  Let us know your thoughts!

I think the possibilities are endless. I would like to see her paired with Eric Brady and the dynamics it would have on her friendship with Nicole.

Plus, see how she reacts with the Dicole pairing.

That would be be interesting. I LOVE Danloe though. They were great. I hope Parker really is Daniel’s.

But they are putting Daniel back with Jennifer. Danloe was hot while it lasted though.

Days needs some ladies in that age range. With Melanie going, and Madison gone, the single, young (ish) men of Salem outnumber the ladies. I hope that she is stronger this time around. I always liked her with Brady.

How about in EJ’s direction. Visually they would be stunning and personality-wise, they would be a perfect match.

EJ belongs with Nicole. They would make a cute couple, but I think EJole is endgame.

Super sweet and exquisite woman with great ties to this show and nearly everyone in the daytime community. As a person, I think she is a class act to fans, peers and co-workers and someone who really appreciates her roots with daytime.

However she is not the strongest actress, always talking like she was just woken up from a deep slumber. I personally thought it was the right move to let her go back in 2011, and not because of her storyline direction (which I think, I’m the only one who didn’t think was half bad), but because I seriously needed a break from this character. Everyone fawning over her…GMAB! I don’t understand Chloe’s draw or appeal (other than looks…bombshell anyone?) and she was shoved down my throat for the 4 years she was on. I would just rather have a little longer reprieve before I had to hear the character drone on again.

I’d have supported Matt Ashford’s return, or another Horton’s return. Chloe wouldn’t have even be in my top 10!

I’m looking forward to her renewing her friendship with Nicole. She could help Brady get over his grief from losing Madison. And how about putting her back with Lucas. I would love to see Lucas with someone who thinks he hung the moon. Of course I have always loved the character of Lucas and want him to stick around this time.

I like this return! I’ve missed Chloe and Nicole onscreen together. Will Kinsey be returning as well?

I want her to come back as a successful, strong and confident woman. Not someone who needs a man. It was clear with her firing in 2011 that she’d be coming back and it was only a matter of time. And now she is coming back.

I hope she has Parker with her!!

Let’s see, Days dumped Matt Ashford (fan favorite), Christie Clark (fan favorite) and Sarah Brown ( a real good actress!!) to bring back boring Chloe again? Sorry, she already had her heyday and it wasn’t really memorable. Nothing against Nadia who is a beautiful girl but I’m just so tired of one dimensional actresses like Nadia and Camila Banus who hog up airtime meanwhile we lose SJB, Christie and Molly Burnett who are all talented, beautiful and fun to watch! For what? Nadia? Pass.

Yeah, in a nut shell, that’s what I was trying to say too. She’s a fan favourite, no doubt, but as far as her acting goes she just isn’t very strong.

I kind of agree, but I love Chloe and Gabi. I think CB is a good actress.

I very happy that nadia bjorlin is bringing chloe lane back to salem. Now we to bring back chelsea brady, max brady, shawn douglas, and belle. On the right track days!!

Nadia is an amazing actress. But if they’re not gonna give us the real Chloe back and if they’re gonna waste her on Daniel Jonas,,,,no thanks.Nadia ,Chloe and their fans deserve better

Glad you don’t write the show.

Danloe and baby Parker all the way!

No thanks.Daniel is a heartless hypocritical egocentric scumbag.I could never root for him with Chloe. She’s too good for him.And he sure doesn’t deserve a second chance with her.The real Chloe wouldn’t give Daniel a 2nd look or thought. So if they’re actually bringing the real Chloe back, they can’t waste her on worthless Daniel. But these writers are the same who destroyed so many characters ,including Chloe, in order to prop their pets:Daniel and Melanie. So I seriously doubt the real Chloe is back.Daniel’s doormat Chloe is back if they’re wasting her on that scumbag.

Again, I’m glad you aren’t writing the show.

Love Chloe and Daniel together and nothing will change that. Especially not your venom.

Thrilled to hear Nadia is back at Days & I HOPE the writers don’t revisit hooker Chloe. 🙂

I’m very happy to see her come back! This is another good move that has been made since the new writers took over [others being getting rid of Madison & JerkJack & his silliness, bringing back Stefano & once again making EJ Stefano’s son].

EJ will be busy with his mom soon so no go for him and Chloe

Rafe will be back with Sami in mere minutes…in fact possibly after the next commercial break 🙂

Nicole will be paired with Eric since Dr Dan will be pining over his daughter going to be with Carly and calling Maggie “MOM” every 5 seconds. He will have to comfort a grieving Jen and try to get into her bed asap.

Lucas’ Days are numbered, therefore Chloe will have to go back to Brady and Victor will chastize him for being lured back with that “slut”, aka his Uncle Phil’s baby mama.

Like sands thru the hourglass….wait, where the hell is Billie?

I think EJ and Nicole will eventually get baxk together, so I can’t see how they would be a couple anyway.

Luckily I was on a 9 year hiatus from Days and missed the Chloe as a hooker storyline (say what?) and I have no idea who these other characters are? Chelsey? Max? (I remember him as a kid with Frankie), horrible Belle recast, grown up Stephanie, yawn …… if I see all these insignificant characters pop up again while pushing away ACTORS I like and want to watch, my next hiatus might be permanent. I’m a longtime fan since 82′ so pointless characters and bad acting aren’t things I want to watch. Hope the new writers don’t get too happy bringing back boring characters.

I’m glad Chloe is coming back. I agree she can be paired with Brady or EJ (or both! lol)

I’m fine with her being paired with Brady, but EJole are meant to be.

I hope they’ll put her back in Brady’s orbit, this time, that was her best relationship, bar none.

If they are going to bring her back, they should utilize her strength which besides her incredible beauty (what man in Salem or any where for that matter would not want to be with her), is her beautiful singing voice. They should figure out a story line to tap into her singing, and have her sing on the show. Maybe they could bring back a kind of Doug’s place where Julie and Doug would sing. Maybe this is old school, but what would be wrong with a little light entertainment and singing now and then. Seems they always revert back to dark story lines.

Love that Nadia is coming back.
Hope Chloe and Daniel reunite love them together.
I really hope that Parker is really Daniel’s son as he should be
since he was named after Daniel ‘s mom.

I am delighted she is coming back, although I didn’t see her show history long enough to know which male would be the best fit. Brady sounds like a good one though. 🙂

hope danloe reunite and parker is daniel’s son

my love story for Days ofOur Lives… I would love to see Brady and Chloe together. Nicole will be trying to seduce Father Eric. Rafe and Hope can be partners and lovers. EJ and Sami will eventually end up together. Perhaps Stefano might find it in his heart to forgive Kate. Daniel and Jennifer rekindle, and if Abe returns to Salem, he and Kayla will hook up.

Now, five leading ladies of the soaps are vying for the gold for Lead Actress and the category marked the first-ever nominations for CBS daytime’s Beyond the Gates when two actresses made the final cut. Only General Hospital is not represented among the actresses this year after Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) took home the trophy last year.
