Grant Show could be playing the Jeff role….not the Blake role!! Poor Grant! He is the king of failed serkes’, I think!

Steve

Show could play Jeff 15-20 years ago. He’s the perfect age for Blake in this reboot

Sorry… nope! Got the wrong vibe just like Melrose Place did. Will not work!

At first glance, this looks over the top — and not in a good way…

That’s the worst dialogue I’ve ever heard. The 1% on Dynasty do not talk like that.

Horrible acting…and sexing it up more looks like thats all they added to the reboot…i will pass…and it will not last…Dynasty: The Next Generation with Jeff and Fallon as the leads might had been better!!!

Um…whoa! They got the glamour and the Reagan era look right. But is too different from the original and it doesnt look like there is anyone to root for. These reboots think that by using a familiar name and concept that audiences will flock to it. The show should have taken Jeff and Fallon…placed them at the helm…and had their kids as the young leads. Kids is relative….if you follow the timeline of the show these “kids” would be 30-35 years old. Adam had a few kids….Blake a d Krystle had Krystina….there was ample family members to be worked in. I will tune into this show….but I dont see it lasting beyond a season or two. Not to wish anyone unemployment. But it starts with the writing…if it aint on the page, it aint on the stage!

Unfortunately the ratings on the Dallas continuation a few years back killed any chance of Dynasty being a continuation rather than this reboot.

If this lasts even one season I will be surprised.

I don’t know, I think it could be interesting. Don’t know if I’d say it’s DYNASTY 2017, but it has come interesting elements in the preview that will cause me to watch.

It’s from the folks that gave us the classic GOSSIP GIRL so of course I’ll be checking it out.

GG was a fabulous show, Alan, because it was fresh, new and had a plethora of outstanding, attractive newbies! (Loved my Chuck and Blair!) This example, on the other hand, is nothing but warmed-up leftovers created from the carcass of a once-formidable blockbuster of a nighttime soap…it will never be able to be duplicated or improved upon by tweaking the “original recipe,” so why even bother trying with this pathetic newfangled mishmash of mediocrity????

Looks like juicy fun with no dead red head mystery, no fangs and blood, and super power individual able to leap tall building in a single bound! I love a good sexy vamping super charged soap opera!! I’m in.

I loved the original Dynasty. It was one of my favorite shows back in the day. Not very impressed by this trailer. But, I will give the show a try.

DYNASTY Ups Four To Series Regulars As Season Three Kicks-Off

Just in time for the start of the new season of CWs deliciously wicked soap reboot of Dynasty! News on Friday has that four members of the cast have been upped to series regular, meaning they will be pivotal in story and see a lot more screen time.

According to Deadline:  the third actress to play Cristal Jennings, Daniella Alonso, who debuts tonight in the season three opener has been made series regular. Along with the previously recurring: Michael Michele (Dominique Devereaux), Sam Underwood (Adam Carrington) and Adam Huber (Liam), who have now been upped to major cast status.

Additionally, Elizabeth Gillies (Fallon) seemed to have taken over the the role of Alexis from Nicollette Sheridan.  Is this going to be a doppelgänger story, or not? Time will tell.

The new season gets underway with new showrunner Josh Reims, and Sallie Patrick staying on as an executive producer.

CW’s Dynasty is a modernized reboot of the 1980s primetime soap of the same name, the series follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children.

Glad to hear Sam, Adam, Michael and Daniella are series regulars for season three? Watch what happens tonight beginning at 9PMEST on the CW.

CW’s Dynasty returns tomorrow night for its third season, with an episode entitled, :Guilt Trip To Alaska.”  And in it, Blake (Grant Show), Fallon (Elizabeth Gilles), Cristal (now played by Daniella Alonso), Adam (Sam Underwood), and Anders (Alan Dale) need to get their stories straight, as the homicide detectives try to close in on the two dead bodies floating in the water. Elsewhere, it seems that Dominique Deveraux (Michael Michele) is looking for her MIA son, Jeff Colby (Sam Adegoke). But is she, since she double-crossed him?

Throughout the season, look for Fallon to have a bevy of people looking to destroy her; chief among them her psychotic, evil brother, Adam.  Blake will become more ruthless than ever wanting to reclaim what’s his, but his half-sister Dominique wants what is rightfully hers, as well!

In addition,Fallon and Liam (Adam Huber) against all odds will try to hold their romance together, if he survives the season opener.  Then, look for Sammy Jo (Rafael De La Fuente) to enter the high life of the rich and famous, but with that comes danger.  And what of Alexis who was revealed to have a new face, that of Fallon?  How will she figure into the equation and stir up a mass of trouble and revenge?
