This morning on ABC’s Good Morning America the celebrity line-up was announced for the upcoming fall season and 28th edition of Dancing with the Stars.  Within the list of competitors are: The Bachelorette, Hannah Brown, former Dawson’s Creek star, James Van Der Beek, and even disgraced White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, and the “Uptown Girl” herself, supermodel Christie Brinkley

In addition to the above celebs, showing their best ballroom dance moves will also be: Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown, The Office‘s Kate Flannery and Kenan & Kel‘s Kel Mitchell, plus The Supremes’ Mary Wilson, Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke, and American Idol Season 10 runner-up  and now country/pop star, Lauren Alaina.

As for the former pro athletes in the cast; those slots belong to: former NFL linebacker of the Baltimore Ravens, Ray Lewis, and former NBA player (and former hubby to Khloe Kardashian) Lamar Odom.

On the pro dancer side, this season will mark the return of Peta Murgatroyd who last competed three seasons ago, as well as newcomers Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov. In addition, the cast will include the steps of: Brandon Armstrong, Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Cheryl Burke, Witney Carson, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Keo Motsepe, Gleb Savchenko and Emma Slater.

This season viewers will not learn of the celebrity/pro pairings till the night of the premiere.

All the moves kick-off on Monday night, September 26th at 8PMEST/7PMCST on ABC.

So, what do you think of the new cast of DWTS? Who do you think on paper stands the best chance of being a top contender for the Mirror Ball Trophy? Weigh-in below.

I urge EVERYONE to boycott this show! Ray Lewis was involved in a murder cover up while he played in the NFL. THEY turned their backs on this thugs action. I’m disappointed that ABC green lighted this casting choice. DONT WATCH!

Amen, Timmm! I quit this show years ago, but it’s pretty rich that an athlete with such a dubious criminal background has been welcomed with open arms by ABC, whilst a military veteran and generally decent guy like Sean Spicer has been openly ridiculed by no less than DWTS’s own host, which was extremely rude, unnecessary and most of all, unprofessional! Even though I didn’t think Spicer was up to the task in the Trump Administration and deserved to be replaced, that’s no reason to vilify him as “disgraced.” He took his dismissal like a man, left the position without acrimony and continues to support our president, unlike that self-serving clown, Scaramucci, who is an absolute embarrassment with all of his vindictive antics.

Seems you can beat, rape and murder and as long as you are not connected to President Trump, its okay, come on the show and lets all be happy! Bullshi!

Exactly, Timmm! I’m surprised Weinstein, BillyBoy or William Kennedy Smith weren’t invited to be on the show! I know, how about Jeff Epstein? Oops…too late for the last one! What a pity, it would have been verrrry interesting to see what his “requirements” in a female partner would have entailed.

Never watched this show the first time I won’t be critical of what makes people tick but after 28 seasons maybe time to fold the tents and I find it disgusting that we are all worked up about a press whatever but have no problem with a nfl player that yes was involved in a cover up! What’s next OJ we are reaching to the depths of no return! As always I will leave the sorting out of society and mans mess to God he has it covered that’s his job not mine

The NFL has more thugs in it than the NHL, MLB and NBA combined!

Don’t be waiting for my Former Employer to sort it out!

After what the Orange Imbecile said this week, claiming to be “The Chosen One” and “The Second Coming”, if anybody on your side of the Earth’s crust was due a good old fashioned Biblical smiting from on High, it would be Trump.

But apparently my old Boss is on vacation. Worse yet is that people are starting rumors that Donny Tinyhands could be my son, the Antichrist! Well, I’ve seen his mother down here, and believe me, no amount of alcohol could have enabled me to have carnal relations with that! So the mortals can’t blame me for what this fool does.

There’s a few families in Atlanta that definitely won’t be watching because of Lewis’ involvement in a 2000 murder scene.

As usual, very little stars, and as always, propping of some washed up right wing hack.

Over half the people dancing are Not stars, not even close to stardom.
And- nobody dances like those weird dances, who dances like that= nobody!

It’s grandmas show and no sense as to why they watch that
that show is too lame for my brain LOL

I

suOOO
I take exception to your comment of “being grandma’s show” I have watched it over the years, but not for many now. Why the hell is everyone arguing over a stupid dance show and a host who has the right to voice his opinion. From where I sit, only a few of us agree with each other, and the rest keep our mouths shut for fear of losing acceptance. I am not politically inclined, but as with the soaps, I know who I like and who I wouldn’t let in my front door. I guess I have become jaded and disappointed over the years as to whom the majority puts in the white house. I do vote, but then I snap my fingers and click my heels and hope for the best.

There are some real head scratchers on this list. I thought DWTS was supposed to be adding several A-list level celebs to the fall season. I agree that Sean Spicer should not be included. The non-stop coverage of the revolving door of this President’s administration has received enough coverage. Can’t we watch a harmless dance show without politics being involved in it. I am not thrilled with Lamar Odom, unless he is doing the rounds to try reinvent himself from a sex addict and distancing himself from the Kardashians. Ally Brooke will most likely win because she has dance experience in being Fifth Harmony. I hope the show does not put all of the drama with Lauren Alaina’s personal life every week and the audience has to watch her have a breakdown. I am ready for the show to return.

Why is this show still on???

If they thought skipping a year would help people forget the obvious fixed results of the year before they are mistaken. My only hope is they have developed a new voting strategy- and Sean, my man, where’s your pride? Are you so desperate to reclaim your 15 minutes of fame that you would humiliate yourself on this show. Basically that is the only reason they want him, and one would think he had a enough humiliation working for Trump’s White House

OK…you know what: On this upcoming season of DWTS, the only ones that interest and intrigue me are Christie Brinkley, James Van Der Beek and Kate Flannery. As for the rest of them…nope.

Later.

People, are always going to be people. I say let’s go and have a good time enjoying the show ‼️
