Great news for Days of our Lives Bryan Dattilo (Lucas).  The fan favorite actor is now going to be a dad for a second time in his life with the news that his wife Elizabeth is expecting their first child together.  The little bundle of joy is due this summer.

Dattilo, who has a son Gabe who is now 14, told Soap Opera Digest that he is eager to be a father a second time around to an infant, but also added: “I’m more prepared in the sense that I know what’s coming: the hard work, responsibility and lack of sleep. It’s a long road. But I’m very content and happy.”

Bryan and Elizabeth who were wed back in 2011 are having the baby shower this weekend!

Send you congrats and well-wishes to Bryan and Elizabeth here on their upcoming new addition to the Dattilo fam!

jimh, I can’t invision a Lucas and Kayla pairing. I hope Sheryl comes back! I would love to see Steve come back for his “sweetness”, but I would be OK with a Kayla and Mike pairing, if Michael T. Weiss comes back.

Kayla and Aiden seem to have better chemistrty than he does with Hope…would still like to see Lucas and Kayla give it a try but they realize they are not really attracted to each other and part as friends…would like to see Patch or Mike return!!!

Lucas does need a love interest to keep him on canvas, and that character has always been “ripped off” so to speak in that department. With “Sami” leaving I am curious to see what off canvas character will be brought back- hopefully one that he can pair with! I can’t see it in my head, but Eve will be on screen soon. They should recast Sarah Brown in a new role & KEEP her this time– she & Lucas could be hot together!

I love DOOL

I love Lucas

I care about Days of OUR Lives

Lucas, is a veteran, core character

brings so much to the canvas… on and off the set… and the actors of… and his fan base… care… he’s an enigmatic character …. you would think… always dissed… but.. Lucas finds his way… and rises above… the meander

Bryan Datillo… charts his path… course… and stands out

I so wish… Sheryl… comes back… preggers… and Lucas… is in a tailspin.. but… not for us fans… he treats and endears our longing…. for him and Lucas… even plus Kate
