DAYS Favorite Peter Reckell to Wrap-Up His Recent Return as Bo Brady with Special Livestream Chat
Fans of Days of our Lives just watched the final leg of the story arc where the iconic Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso) finally reunite after years apart through death, brain chips and more! Only their happiness is short-lived when Bo slips into a coma following life-saving surgery. So, what comes next?
Tomorrow, April 29th, on a special Saturday livestream conversation on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel, Peter Reckell returns for a second visit to help wrap up his time with the soap opera and this current story.

Reckell will discuss his thoughts on the storyline, working with his beloved castmates, his appreciation for the fans enduring support, more on working with some of the legends of Days of our Lives, his upcoming 40th anniversary with the series next week on May 3rd, and he will share plenty of memories of his time on the long-running soap opera as the show approaches its 60th anniversary in just a few years.

Dear Bo I am a loyal from the beginning fan please don’t leave forever… if you have to go, come to once again, and you and Hope decide to go off together to spend the many years missed. My thing is what upset me is that, this is the second time he comes back on days just to leave the show again. I really thought that both Hope and Bo was returning to the show for good. Yes, I believe this is really stinks and I’ve been watching it for a long time. My mom started me with it. I don’t like this at all it’s like what’s the use of doing it with nothing comes of it not happy at all I haven’t don’t like it even more now than I did before us a story is not doing so well.

I went I labor with my 2nd child eating cookies and watching bo and hope on the motorcycle wearing wedding dress. I quit watching a few years ado. I just turned back to watch Bo and Hope. When he leaves so do I. I’m like every one else why gives us a few days of something that so people enjoy. I would have rather to not go thur the losing him ago.

I started watching Days with my mom and grandma. Both have passed. I was still in elementary school, I graduated in 1976, and I’m about to turn 65 this summer. So for me it’s been about 56 yrs.I was excited to see Bo & Hope for a little while but It won’t last long. I will sure love it while I can.⏳⌛
Was April 28th the last show for Hope and Bo? Will we have to wait years for them to return? They need to reunite the right way!

I certainly wouldn’t mind if the storyline between Bo and Hope continues on screen. Surely the writers could write a fantastic story for them so that fans can continue to enjoy seeing them together on screen like in the past.

Bummer all around. Soaps are about continuing characters but the quick in-and-out nature of these appearances that overall just have the characters tread water among silly contrivances does no service to loyal audiences. Let’s commit to a solid storyline and time to tell it. Actors, writers, everyone. I ture if musical chairs and lack of forward thinking, suspense, and excitement.
Hopefully bo will return with hope at some future date, so happy to see him back, remember his first time on days, watched since show started in 1965!
I have been a Days fan sense the first day it aired I was 10 years old and watched it with my Grandmother, Bo and Hope are my favorite couple on the show , I love the hole cast because some of them I feel like their my family to , I’ve cried at the deaths of a lot of my favorites leaving the show but when Bo died on the show it just broke my heart , if Days does anything please let Bo and Hope live a happily ever after that’s what all us fans want to happen, we love you Peter , may God bless you and your family always

Bo needs to come back to full recovery, reunite with family, then go off with HOPE in his heart to a happy ending,somewhere out there. Hopefully knocking MEGAN off her broomstick in the process! I am 55 years old. Been watching since I was 8 years old. I have always roooted for Bo and Hope to stay together. I hope they let Bo wake up, they reunite, and leave together to live happily ever after.
The prisms were an important part of the storyline. Now that we are so many decades into the future, and the prisms are together in the storyline, and medicine has had advances, it would be satisfying to have more focus on them, so the newer generations of watchers would see the importance of them.

I have watched Bo and Hope since I was a young girl . They were always magical together.Such a handsome couple too. I was so sad how they ended their storyline and always wanted them to make it right.They still have the magic when they are on together and I hope this time they get to leave together when they decide to go again. I loved seeing Bo back on DOOL, he has been missed. It’s nice to have Peter drop in on occasion & I hope they find a way to keep that going.

I had pretty much sworn off days when you “died” on Days of our lives and then to hear that you are back, I’m still here! my question is : please tell me you’re going to stay to the grand age of 90 on the show?! I just wanted to say that my husband and I never forgot how kind you were to me almost 30 years ago when you were in our hometown with Kristian for a meet and greet at a health expo. I was in a wheelchair and didn’t have access to the stage, and we got to meet you both privately. You were very kind about what put me in the wheelchair, and we could just tell you were/are an all around great guy. Our family never forgot your caring. Thanks for being the real deal! Although you are missed horribly on Days, and we will grasp at any amount of “Bo/Hope” time we can get, we’re so glad you have carved out a beautiful life for yourself and your family. God bless you all!

You have no idea how relaxing it is, to come home after a hard day, turn on the show, watch my favorite characters….but Bo and Hope….that’s the ultimate, and you just don’t know how healing it is, to have an escape for an hour. Please don’t leave entirely, if you can stay. God Bless.

Don’t like the way it’s ending. It’s kind of like when Bo came back before he had his brain tumor two months worth of filming of nothing we cared about and he actually had two good days with Hope before he died. As much as I like the Bo and Hope couple, I would just as soon not see him. If this is all they’re going to give us. Not enough!! if the actors don’t want a full-time then at least let them get back together and sale of on the boat for a while then they can come and go as they please. This is just frustrating!

This whole storyline is stupid, the whole point was to reunite Bo and Hope, so what kind of reunion was or is that? And they don’t even make it back to Salem, so what was the point? Mary I don’t believe it’s the writers it’s Bo. He doesn’t want the job full time anymore. And, I read Hope was upset that Days want to cut some of her air time to save money. She side no the rest is history. I’ve been a fan before Hope was born. Lol I have to say these new writers forget storylines and make the viewer feel disrespected. They need to look back in the archives to see good writing/ storyline and incorporate them into the modern.

I thought Bo and Hope were on for good since peacock films so many months ahead and Bo and Hope wouldn’t have to be at the studio all the time. They would film when needed and then return to their home. That is what I read when they agreed to come back to the show. This storyline was terrible. We never even got to see the real Bo!! We saw Bo and Hope reunite at the cliff, he gets shot, dies, comes back to life, emergency surgery, and coma!! Hope passes out, wakes up to Bo in surgery,in waiting room doctor comes in to say he’s in a coma! The end!! Come on Days you can do better. Us fans are tired of being let down all the time!! Thanks for nothing!!

I am really disheartened to hear that Bo is once again leaving. I have been watching Days for almost 50 years and have loved the Bo and Hope storyline. For him to leave again is just wrong. If he comes out of this coma and they leave together that is one thing but to kill him off again is wrong. What was the point in bringing him back? Days needs to make this a happy ending if he is leaving.
I’ve been a days fan since it began in the 60’s. Watched everyone grow up, grow old and die off. It’s a family to me and the other viewers.
It was great seeing Bo and Hope again. I do hope they have their happy ever after in Victor’s childhood home in Greece. I miss John Aniston so much as I do everyone who leaves us.
The ratings have probably been higher recently with Bo and Hope on there several of these little storylines going on right now I have to admit arelittle boring… Well maybe Bo is leaving eventually but maybe hope will be staying cuz she’s probably going to end up with that Michael’s guy…. Hahaha it’s just a soap opera but I normally don’t watch it I only got interested because my 84 year old dad watches it every night at 11:00 haha
#Days of our Lives the show was originally tied around the Hortons. Then when the Brady family was brought into it and making everything surround the 2 families really made the show into what it {was} when it {was} great. The show has been lacking these families intertwining. With that said the last couple weeks of having #Bo Brady and #Hope Brady back made the show worth watching again. Hate to see it end..

It sounds like to me that Peter Reckell is once again gonna be leaving the show. Is this true, is he gonna die again and never regaining consciousness. Or did I read into that the wrong way which would be great to have him back on the show for a long while and have Bo and Hope back together again. If he’s just gonna be dying off the show again then they should just make it a permanent ending bc it’s happening to all the time with people dying off the show and then suddenly they’re back alive again. So if they are gonna continue to repeat this over and over again I would say isn’t a good thing to continue doing.

53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Winners: ‘General Hospital’ Takes Drama Series, Tamara Tunie and Scott Clifton Top Acting Honors
The 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards have just concluded on Friday night, October 30, and it was ABC’s General Hospital who took home the top prize for Outstanding Drama Series for the sixth time in row. Executive Producer, Frank Valentini accepted the award on behalf of the show.
Beyond the Gates scored its first two acting honors in the young history of the show. Veteran actress, Tamara Tunie won her first ever Emmy for Lead Actress a Daytime Drama Series for her performances as Anita Dupree, while Ambyr Michelle took home the gold in the Emerging Talent category.
Scott Clifton won his fourth Daytime Emmy overall, and second Lead Actor Emmy for his heart-tugging performance as Liam Spencer, who believed he was battling an inoperable brain tumor, only for it to turn out to be medical ruse to bilk Liam’s father out of $1 million dollars.

DECADES BETWEEN BETH MAITLAND AND ROGER HOWARTH LAST EMMY WIN
In the Supporting Actor and Actress categories, Daytime Emmy history was made with Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott, The Young and the Restless) winning her second Emmy 41 years since she won her first won, and Roger Howarth (Matt Clark, The Young and the Restless) following suit for the men with his coming 32 years after he won in 1994 for One Life to Live.

Jeff Kober picked up his second Daytime Emmy win for his role as Cyrus Renault on General Hospital in the Outstanding Guest Performer in a Daytime Drama Series category. He previously won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the role in 2022, following a nomination in the same category in 2021.
The Kelly Clarkson Show, meanwhile, won Outstanding Daytime Talk Series it its final year, while Sherri Shepherd won for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host after finding out her talker had been canceled after four seasons.

General Hospital star Genie Francis (Laura) received the Lifetime Achievement Award and shared from the stage, “I know 50 years sounds like an awfully long time, but it doesn’t feel like that to me,” she said. “As they say, if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.”
Overall, General Hospital, Beyond the Gates and The Kelly Clarkson Show received the most gold statuettes for the night with four wins apiece.

HEATHER TOM POISED TO BREAK TIE WITH ERIKA SLEZAK FOR WINNINGEST ACTRESS IN SOAPS
Heather Tom spoke with Variety on the potential of breaking the daytime actress tie for most wins with One Life to Live’s veteran Erika Slezak. The B&B actress, writer and director explained she is not in rivalry with Slezak.
“I don’t think I could be in a rivalry with Erika Slezak because she’s just iconic. It kind of floors me to think that I’m kind of in the same conversation as her, because I was such a huge fan. I had the honor working with her and I just loved every single second,” shared Heather. “She always just brought it. There was never a day where she phoned it in. I certainly cannot feel like I’m in the rivalry with her because I would just have to say that she’s already won.”
As previously reported, ahead of the big day, the annual Lead Actress Ladies Luncheon was turned into a dinner and a house party by last year’s Lead Actress winner, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis, General Hospital).
