John Aniston is celebrating his 30th year on Days of our Lives as Victor Kiriakis, and he gave a recent interview to Glamour’s Jessica Radloff.

During their chat Aniston reveals: what storyline made him most anxious, his favorite DAYS leading ladies, favorite storylines, and of course, some anecdotes theĀ  way that they can only be delivered by the revered Aniston. One of the big questions that has resurfaced from time to timeĀ  by media outlets has been if John thinks he can ever get his superstar daughter – motion picture and television actress – Jennifer Aniston to appear on the long-running NBC soap opera (now celebrating its 50th year on the air), so they could work together as father and daughter?

Aniston began answering the question like this to Glamour:Ā  “We sort of worked together on Search for Tomorrow.Ā  She was an extra. (Laughs)Ā  She was 13 or 14 years old. I had her down at the studio one day and Jane Krakowski was on the show, and Jennifer was in the green room and met Jane and they were talking.”

Then when asked if he has ever asked Jennifer to appear on DAYS? John admitted:Ā  “No. But, yeah, (it would be cute). There’s elusion to Victor’s staff…”Ā  Radloff suggested Jen play a member of the Kirakis staff, to which John replied jokingly:Ā  “Yeah, she could, but all we have is the butler. And you never see the butler.”

So, do you think it’s time John asked Jennifer Aniston to do a few scenes with him on DAYS, and make a guest appearance? Share your thoughts below, and let us know if you would want to see it happen!

I am surprised that John Aniston never worked with Jennifer on “Friends”–especially since the show had a running storyline where Joey had a role on “Days of Our Lives.”

True, never thought of that!

It would be phenomenal if she did a cameo & worked with her father for a few scenes.

I have always wondered why she hasn’t done a cameo. I thought maybe he was against it–but it doesn’t sound like it. I would think NBC would have pushed for it during Friends.

She doesn’t seem to be doing much lately so yeah she should go on Days.

Yes I think everyone would love seeing her on days maybe as his. Sisters or something love to see her on it

I think that decision would be up to the show, so the better question should have been has Days ever asked John to ask his daughter to be on the show. Otherwise I doubt actors can just walk in and tell producers to put a relative into the show, although in this case, they might not care because of her fame, but if she was just another struggling actor or B list then might have an issue with a cast member doing that.

HELLO AND HI..leave it to to the true posters to look at a question posed with an answer at the ready..If he did ask her to walk on and do something I have no shadow of a doubt she would..I am because you taught me to be..he opened doors for her whether she wanted them opened or not..and she walked through them..heck yeah she would do..HECK NAW would he ask her to…DOOL was a part of FRIENDS…she did not have to be but in an abstract way…why toss her on there now..who would care after five minutes of a scene?..Fickle finger of daytime viewing fate..why bother?

I would like to see her appear on the show for a few days—would be a good spin on stunt casting and with all her success in movies, it isn’t likely that this appearance would do anything to her already-mega career.

At long last, I’ve always wanted to know the answer!

Now SHE would have been a 50th Anniversary surprise!

It’s funny, if John would have been on any other show, most assuredly GH, they would have taken advantage of his Hollywood royalty relations long ago. Valentini is that kind of go-getter. He will scour and scrape. Carlivati would have dropped references in his dialogue over and over again (can’t you just picture him telling Nicole “You’re life’s a joke, you’re broke. Your love life’s DOA”?).

But Corday/NBC/Sony seems to always have been, perhaps, respectful of this boundary and never chose to cross it- for better or for worse. He relies on his own talent and casting and stories. Sure they’ve done many stunt casting before *coughDonaldTrumpcough* but they are mindful of this one and choose not to pursue it probably for John’s sake.

His feelings aside, it would be so cool to have her on one day!! And his idea is typically hysterical. Imagine the press, ratings, hoopla! A superstar coming to town! James franco, who?

I think it would be great see that happening. I am surprised that these two have not worked together on friends and /or Days of our lives. I know Joey played on days of our lives but not John’s daughter. Interesting. I am always a fan of these two. I hope to see Jennifer on days some time.

Love Victor…… John Aniston is one of the best things about Days.

That would be cool. He could have play his attorney or physician in a scene with him.

She could play his long lost daughter born from Vivienne who impregnated herself with victor’s stolen sperm! Classic Days!

That would be awesome!!!! Victor is incredible, but 2 incredibles!!!! WOW!!!! Please consider, it would be priceless!!!!

I think that would be great. Would love to see that

yes.. I think that would be Great.. I Love victor (John Aniston) And also Love His Daughter.. Jennifer Aniston.. it would be Great too see.. Hope it happens..

I think she can play a cop for a day and hit on Rafe then Hope gets all pissed off. That would be fun šŸ™‚

It is not up to the actors to tell producers who to have on the show. I would prefer he appear in one of her movies than her appearing on Days.

I think it would be awesome. Victor is one of my favorite s . she should play a long lost daughter that he didn’t know about. Since he has lost bo

I would love to see her on the show! She could be a long lost daughter that he didn’t know about.

Jen owes that for her Dad.. it would be fun and it would also help her dad at Days and the ratings…. why would she not do it.. I am not too much of a fan of hers.. I think she needs to be a nicer daughter to her Dad.. but of course I know nothing of their relationship .. but just think that a daughter would do something fun for her dad like this… .. Just sayin……..

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!…..”…..”………………….!
