DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Alex is Revealed to Be Victor’s Son; How Do You Feel About the Revelation?

By now, Days of our Lives fans have figured out that Alex Kiriakis (Rob Scott Wilson) will be revealed as Victor’s (the late John Aniston) son, not Justin’s (Wally Kurth), on upcoming episodes of the Peacock streaming soap opera.

On Friday’s cliffhanger, after Justin and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) open the contents from Victor’s briefcase located in Greece, they are stunned to see a brand new will. But, what will stun them even more is that Justin will learn that Alex is not his biological son. In addition, the latest promo for next week’s DAYS, also shows an emotional Justin telling Alex he is not his father.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Rob Scott Wilson shares on the Kiriakis family bombshell: “It’s such a huge plot twist. Obviously, it’s going to change the dynamic within the family and the power within the business.”

Wilson added on the key scene where Justin and Maggie just found out Victor had a ‘secret’ son: “Justin is definitely freaking out. It’s like he’s just seen a ghost. He wasn’t prepared to read this and then have Alex walk in on it.”

After the revelation, Rob expressed how the relationship between Alex and Justin will never be the same: “It’s like a goodbye to the relationship that we built and established in not too long of a time. It was really heartfelt.”

There will be much more to this story, as Alex tries to process how Victor lied to him while he was alive, and never told him he was his son.

Check out the promo for next week’s DAYS below.

Now let us know, are you happy or unhappy that Alex is turning out to be the biological son of Victor Kiriakis? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

This is 666% ridiculous and unnecessary. The pairing of Justin & Angelica back in the day (which is where Alex came from) was scandalous enough… but mostly because they were later mother & son on GH!

And the Alex character is already cartoonish enough as it is, since ReRon wrote him “over the top” on purpose, so nobody would confuse him with Serial Killer Ben, even though they look exactly alike.

There’s no reason to mess with who is or isn’t Victor’s kids. Or wife, for that matter, now that he’s not around to do anything about it.

But as we all know from his time at General Hospital… ReRon couldn’t give a cherub’s pink little behind about a show’s history.

Bloody stupid!

KC, the writers have Victor’s son, the one with the love of his life, in a coma despite the actor willing to return. Leaving Bo out of the death of Victor was just stupid. Shoving aside Victor’s grandson was stupid. The Alex being Victor’s son is stupid. Alex is already cast in a strange way, as younger than Philip…..it’s a stupid story in a show already so hard to watch since the writers are pushing GH characters while ignoring DAYS legacy characters, Shawn and Belle who fans saw grow up.

i think that alex being victors son will blow alexes mind never mind how justin is going to feel, , why would they do this, they have a loving relationship. why would days destroy a great relationship they have. this is really sad what days is doing to alex and justin

It’s great. Can’t wait to watch Wally and Rob play this out together.

I feel this will be controversial for sure will enjoy watching but honestly I think Theresa had a hand in changing something i believe down the line it will turn out that Xander is his son

It’s that I would put it past Theresa to switch something out, if it somehow served her agenda, but there wasn’t really time to do so. She got the briefcase from her father (Shane really should have known better, but whatever…) took her a while to break into it, and then only had a few seconds to look at the contents before Brady & Alex returned.

So there obviously was no time for her to forge a bogus will, or any other surprises that might be in there. Probably the only thing Theresa found interesting in the brief time she had with the briefcase was the stack of letters to Victor from her grandma Caroline. The same ones Kayla read when Bo had her locked up in the basement of Vic’s old house in Greece.

I agree with you, whoever you are, Xander would be the best choice to be the Son, coming out of nowhere. Hooray to you great minds think alike! Every dog deserves a bone someday, it would be nice if Xander could take a turn for the better!!! Hey Days of our lives, please rewrite the script somehow and let Xander take a win!!!

theresa forge the letter. justin read the will and you can tell that nothing was forge from there. victor did not leave the name of his unknown son in the will. when maggie read the letter, the last page said little alexander sincerely Anjelica. theresa had time to forge another page by just changing the name of the person who wrote the letter. I wondering if victor had an affair with his brother wife xander mother. Another possibility that the letter was referring to Bo. there could be another letter that theresa may have

Horrible news. Sonny and Alex as siblings made a lot of sense. Does any male in Salem ever think to ask for a paternity test?

I believe Theresa changed that will to hurt Xander and try to gain Alex as her love interest hopefully DOOL will rectify this during November sweeps! Xander will do right by Maggie he adores her as a Mother

I am blown away that Alex is Victors son. Poor Justin..

It’s hard to see what the point of this is, especially given that Victor’s portrayer has passed away. Also, if the rumors are true that Emily O’Brien will be playing the role of Theresa (which we may see before this comment is published) and the idea is to pair Theresa with Alex, it’s all too confusing, as the 2 actors involved are playing 2 different roles, back to back, on the same soap.

So the viewer is supposed to forget that Robert Scott Wilson used to play Ben, forget that Emily O’Brien used to play Gwen, and forget that Alex is Justin’s son. Why don’t they just skip ahead a year (again) and completely rewrite current relationships?

I grudgingly realize that long-lost sons/daughters/fathers/mothers/brothers/sisters are a soap staple, but it’s a contrived, tired plot device. But in the midst of these actor reassignments, it’s an illogical chore — and could be a bore…

That’s soap for you!

Terrific plot twist – did’t see this coming, but it sure adds some spice to the recipe. Great job of keeping us on our toes!

I really don’t see the need for this re-write of DOOL’s history, especially since Victor is dead now. If they wanted a power struggle at the company then just have that, let Victor will a chunk of it to Alex because he saw potential in him. That would work better for me than this.

It matters & it doesn’t matter, Justin will always be Alex’s dad no matter what because Justin was the one that raised Alex ❤️

It will be devastating for Justin and Alex. They will now be cousins, but I hope they can retain the father-son relationship. I don’t know how I feel about it. Mainly, I don’t like it.

Hey I’m the one that said let the SON be XANDER, every dog deserves a bone. Let us see a bad guy turn good for a change, he could be the hero if you would let him! He keeps making mistakes but it’s time for him to get that win! Find out Sarah’s baby is his, and now he’s Victor’s son, heads up the company and all the players will want to take it away from him! Wow what a plot! thank you Days of our lives

Xander should have been the Son, Uncle Vic was, Victor’s brother! Poor Xander never had a happy life always treated horribly, wouldn’t that be a surprise to the family if it was Xander that was Victor’s son!!! It would be a great twist of events, thanks everyone

i think that will happen. alex is not victor’s son until dna test is done from justin and alex

I don’t why everyone assumes it is Alex. Couldn’t be Zander, (Alexander). This would make alot more since.

Angelica Deveraux wasn’t Xander’s mother. So unfortunately, the letter she wrote makes it clear which “Alexander” is Victor’s son.

You are correct that none of this makes sense though. Typical ReRon writing.

Please let Xander be Victor’s son . Anything else is stupid and doesn’t make sense .

Was supposed to be Xander, how easy Theresa could add Alex to the mix

I love it amazing…very good twist….

Xander is Victors real son,period

They have this name mixed up !!! The real “Alexander ” in the will is ZANDER

For the age of Alex , doesn’t sit right, one thought name “Alexander” more associated with Xander to me
