Arianne Zucker (ex-Nicole, Days of our Lives) had finally reached a settlement in her sexual harassment lawsuit against the show’s producers, Corday Productions. and the soap opera’s former co-executive producer, Albert Alarr.

In her lawsuit, Zucker alleged Alarr subjected her and other employees to harassment and that she faced retaliation from the show’s producers, including a pay cut and her character being written off the Salem canvas and thus losing her job.

According to the L.A. Times, the settlement was filed Thursday, October 9th in Los Angeles County Superior Court with no terms disclosed. The attorney for Albert Alarr, Robert Barta said his client maintains and denies the allegations and that he was only settling the case to “end the dispute and move forward.”

As DAYS fans know, Zucker had a leading role on the series since 1998. She filed her lawsuit back in February of 2024, when she alleged that now-former co-executive producer Albert Alarr subjected her and other employees (according to verbage in the lawsuit) to “severe and pervasive harassment and discrimination, including sexual harassment, based upon their female gender.” Zucker had maintained that Alaar made sexually charged comments to her, and more.

In addition, Zucker alleged that when notified of the complaints levied by herself and the cast on Alarr, Corday Productions did not adequately take action. Arianne also claimed that in October of 2023, when her current DAYS contract came up for renegotiation, Corday Productions failed to negotiate a new deal “in good faith,” resulting in her wrongful termination. In June 2023, Zucker noted that her character was written off the show after 20 years.

Eventually, Alarr was fired back in August of 2023. He was replaced by Janet Drucker, until she retired earlier in 2025, and now Noel Maxam is back serving as the Co-EP of DAYS alongside EP and show owner, Ken Corday.

The L.A. Times did reach out to Corday Productions for comment on the settlement, but as of press time they did not offer any statement, Previously, the production entity said in a statement that Zucker’s claims “are without merit” and that she was offered a pay increase upon and an offer to renew her contract. The company said at the time that complaints about Alarr’s on-set behavior were “promptly investigated” and the company “fully cooperated with the impartial investigation and subsequently terminated Mr. Alarr.”

In story, Nicole moved to Paris with her baby and Eric (Greg Vaughan) in tow in 2024. Since then, Vaughan is now shooting his new role on CBS’ Beyond the Gates. Now that the lawsuit is settled, it will be interesting to see if Zucker lands on another of your favorite soaps in the future, or not.

What do you think about the settlement of the lawsuit levied by Arianne Zucker against Albert Alarr and Corday Productions coming to a close? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

Alarr’s conduct on that set⏤amongst other issues⏤was unacceptable. Of course he settled, because he knew his name would be destroyed even more than it was prior to this point.

At it again I see? So, maybe she should go back to DAYS, where she just settled a sexual harassment suit (Good for her!), GH where the cast is so big, her character would probably get lost in the shuffle, Y&R, where they would celebrate her with such fanfare and months in to a year, they wouldn’t know what the hell to do with her and the same would go for B&B. Let me get this straight, your problem with BEYOND THE GATES is good writing, damn good actors and a show that pretty much gives just about every character contract and recurring screen time? Oh yeah, horrible show!

She’s a lovely actress. I’m sorry for what she and others endured. I hope her settlement was decent. She and her husband are so talented. They make such a beautiful couple and I miss seeing them on screen.

I could see her on GH as a Sarah Webber recast. I wouldn’t want them writing a new character for her, especially not for another idiotic story revision, like the one we are currently seeing with Monica’s non-existent “sister”

And though I would put the odds of Greg Vaughan ever returning to GH as only slightly higher than us getting a blizzard down here in Hell, in the unlikely event that it would happen, then a Lucky and Sarah pairing would at least be a nod to some wayyyy back history.

I’ve always believed her, and loved her as Nicole, but I wish she would’ve believed the accusations against Donald Trump. One would think she would, considering the time their paths crossed.

I hope she joins us in saying “Release the Epstein files!”

Hate to burst your bubble:

Spoiler
but she has been vocal about voting for him in both elections.

You didn’t burst my bubble because I already knew she was a hypocrite.

One of the best. I could see Ari being on GH with all of the other powerhouse actresses. GH is so good right now. She would be a great match for Nathan.

GH has their fair share of actresses over 50 that have connections on the canvas. No space to add another.

Doubtful that Zucker returns to daytime.

A possible Sarah Webber recast; although, Bethany Joy Lenz is my prime Sarah recast option. Although I do not think Zucker is going to be returning to daytime and/or acting at this point. She seems fine in the business(es) she runs.

Arianne had many scenes in her final year on DAYS that would have been Emmy worthy. I hope the prospect of her returning to DAYS is not out of the question. The perpetrator has been gone for two years now.
