Deidre Hall Shares Message to Loyal Viewers to Make the Move to Peacock with Days of our Lives

The first promo for Days of our Lives upcoming shift to the streaming service, Peacock was released on Monday, when enduring series star and soap icon, Deidre Hall (Marlena) delivered a special videotaped message targeted at longtime viewers of the beloved NBC soap opera.
“We’re a family,” states Hall. She goes on to share, “As our loyal viewer, I consider you to be part of that family. As you may have heard, Days of our Lives is going to air exclusively on Peacock. Let’s make the transition together. We want you to come with us and continue our special journey.”
Next, a small montage of the core families in Salem is shown to illustrate to viewers that the stories and characters you love to love, or love to hate, can all be found on DAYS new streaming home.
Hall concludes her message with, “We love you and we’re so grateful for your ongoing support. So that said, I’ll see you Monday, September 12th at our new home, Peacock.”
As part of the move to Peacock, DAYS is being offered for $1.99 per month in the premium tier, if you sign up beginning on September 1st for a limited time, or for $19.99 a year.
You can watch Deidre Hall’s message to viewers below.

The camera quality isn’t as good as the other online content… but it’s definitely an improvement of what’s airing right now. Let’s hope it is a sign of good things to [finally] come, production-wise, any way.
Apparently NBC doesn’t care anything about the elderly in nursing homes across the country who do not have tvs that can stream and have watched this soap for years but will no longer be able to access it.
Nothing but crap.NBC
Like my mother who has dementia and doesn’t know how to navigate her remote even if she did have Peacock. This is/was all she had in her life to look forward to. I can say how disgusted I am but I sure would love for my choice words to be put in print here because I have said every cuss word in the book. As a matter of fact, I think I made up some new ones.
Hopefully you will help her. It sounds important to her.
$1.99 is nice. I will wait until September to join. I feel bad for Days’ fans who can’t afford or access Peacock.
I’m already streaming on Peacock, so, I’m not affected by this.
This video seemed forced and fake to me. Why do it at the Horton set? I mean, I know why but it’s trite. The town square would have worked better.
I do wish people would get over it though. Moving to streaming is better than an outright cancellation. For myself, I’ll watch where ever they go until the last sand falls through the hourglass.
P.S. Thank you Michael for this forum. I love being able to come here and say my opinion without fear of backlash. You Rock!
Moto62
Oh how loyal you are. Iam sure Michael appreciates you also. I also get Peacock as part of my Cable service pkg., but looks like I won’t need it for Days.Turned on the TV and they are still showing it on NBC here in So. CaL.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES have not been the same show I fell in love with years ago…I haven’t watch in years…the good ole days of DOOL are so missed and long gone…
This is a slap in the face for all the loyal elderly fans that have been loyal veiwers for all these years. I feel bad for them. They are your core fans and lets be honest the younger generation that watches and stream shows dont care a flip about Days or any soap operas! You might as well go ahead and nail the coffin shut on Days of our lives. Its sad that its own network doesn’t recognize there own fan base and viewers! BAD DECISION BAD MOVE.
It’s interesting that you say the network doesn’t recognize their* own fan base and viewers. I bet they do and studied the viewing level on Peacock as part of their decision.
Let’s face it.. it was either cancelled or move to peacock. So, if you are the elderly that can’t afford it or can’t stream just pretend it was cancelled and move on… sorry I know it isn’t the best situation but the ratings have slowly declined every year it was bound to happen.
Well, I was surprised today, the 1st, turned on the TV and they are still showing Days as usual, so I don’t know WTH is going on.
Satan just informed us that the move to Peacock doesn’t start until the 12th. So sorry I mislead anyone.
Satan informed me that it doesn’t start on Peacock until the 12th, I jumped the gun.
The people of Salem have been my friends and family for 52 years. As I moved from state to state as a transfer person, the residents of Salem always followed me. I have seen and interacted with them 5 days per week over the past 50 plus years. I don’t see my family or closest friends that often. I don’t get many visitors so I will miss and mourn the loss of my dear daily friends. I can afford to subscribe to Peacock but I choose to stand with all the viewers who cannot afford the service, who do not have smart tv’s and who do not know how to stream television. We have been the viewers supporting the prime time stations for the past 50 plus years and now you dare to crush us. I understand the move is to preserve the long time running of DOOL, but this move hurts the very people that have been supporters for many years, the elderly. I have thought about boycotting NBC but then I would also have to boycott ABC for moving DWTS. It seems like moving our shows is a temporary limbo for shows that are already dying on prime time.

DAYS Arianne Zucker On Baby Switch Storyline: “It’s Heartbreaking to Watch What Nicole Has Been Going Through”

On Days of our Lives, a soap opera which has had more than its fair share of baby switch storylines over the years, viewers have watched in anguished now that Nicole Walker DiMera (Arianne Zucker) is the next victim of this heinous plot twist.
Making it all the more ironic is years ago, Nicole illegally took Sami’s daughter, Sydney after she suffered a miscarriage and tried to pass it off as her own, only for it to backfire in now classic scenes between Zucker and Alison Sweeney.
Now in 2023, it’s Nicole’s turn to have a ‘switch’ perpetrated on her, this time by Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and the shifty Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) as the ringmasters.

Photo: JPI
The baby named “Jude” is actually Eric’s (Nicole’s all-time love) biological son, but Nicole has thought this whole time her baby daddy was EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), her current husband – thanks to more skullduggery from Sloan switching the DNA paternity results.
According to an interview in the latest issue of TV Guide Magazine, posted as an Instagram story on the Days of our Lives official show account,Nicole will get more of a clue as to what what happened behind her back, and to the unthinkable for a mother and her newborn baby, after she holds Eric’s “adopted” son Jude. It is then, she feels a strong bond with the little bundle of joy. Remember, Nicole gave birth at the side of a road after getting into a car accident when Dimitri (Peter Porte) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) were driving the other care while they were on the run and trying to get to Dr. Rolf’s submarine. Not the best of circumstances for a new mom, but was later told her baby had died.
Zucker expressed: “She (Nicole) feels there’s a possibility this baby is hers. Nicole knows that Sloan is sly. Nicole has an issue with postpartum depression as we saw with the last baby-switch storyline. She’s going to put all of those things together and think this has to be her baby.”

In the end, the longtime fan favorite, shared, “It’s heartbreaking to watch what Nicole had been going through.” It certainly has! With many Days of our Lives fans screaming “Emmy” for Zucker and Dan Feuerriegel as the “grieving parents.”
So, what do you think about the Nicole/Sloan baby switch storyline? Are you over it and want it to end sooner than later? What do you think about the performance of Arianne Zucker within it? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
