Metcalfe will play the role of Ormand Longchamp, Dawn’s adoptive father.  Also in the cast are Joey McIntrye (New Kids on the Block) and Fran Drescher (ex-The Nanny).

In story, when Dawn finds herself entrenched in several mysteries surrounding her family, it becomes clear that a dark curse hangs over the Cutlers.

A+E acquired the rights to Andrews’ library of these best-selling novels to adapt for the screen.  The first book in the series, Dawn, which tells the dark and twisted history of the Cutler, Longchamp and Booth families will premiere in 2023.

The next movies in the series will be: Secrets of the Morning, Twilight’s Child, and Midnight Whispers. Meanwhile, the last novel of the series, Darkest Hour, is currently in development.

Michael I know you love Donna and maybe I should just let this rest but here I go again.

Donna’s first major role was as “Rocket” on the “secret Storm”. That episode is on Youtube in bad quality but the role looks to have been a blast. Her character had great bitchy witty dialogue not to mention a great wardrobe. Shades of a young Abby!

Of course her most famous daytime role was as “Laura DOnelly Elliot” on “Love is a Many Splendored Thing” which I believe was a favorite of yours MIchael.

My problem with Donna is that whenever she has been asked what her first big break was she usually replies “Play Misty for Me” However she got that role because of a contract she negotiated with CBS. She told them she would not sign a new contract with the show unless it stated that she had outs to do primetime. She quickly got a “Dan August” with Burt Reynolds and he recommended her to Clint for the movie. So you see” Splendored Thing” was directly responsible for the film and her subsequent career. I just wish she would for once give credit where credit is due to Splendored Thing” for the good things that happenned in her career. This sequence of events are all documented in her Lifetime “intimate Portrait” on Youtube.

I do like her and think she is a terrific actress but I am daytime’s biggest fan and feel very protective of it!

I’ve been a Donna Mills fan since LIAMST in the 60s, thru her good performances in umpteen TV movies like NIGHT OF TERROR, and her triumphant work as the multi-faceted Abby on KNOTS LANDING. I enjoy watching her in nearly everything. But, while not begrudging any actor a living, I have to wonder how Jesse Metcalfe keeps getting these leading roles. He’s not a good actor and hasn’t progressed much since his himbo days on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Surely there are better actors who also satisfy the “cute guy” requirement for these shows.

OMG, Soaphound!! This is absolute mental telepathy!! I was going to say the same about Metcalfe, but fought the urge until I read your comment,
He is worse than Cameron Mathison. I watched a few episodes of his Martha’s Vineyard shows —-not because of him but because I am a part-time resident of the island.
Firstly, there’s nothing endearing about his acting. Secondly, have you noticed how his questions always end in a lilt? Oh, brother! That bothers the “Beelzebub” out of me. He’s awful!!
Plus, Martha’s Vineyard looks nothing like that and crime on
MV is basically non-existent . People actually left their doors unlocked ( as recent as a couple of years ago)—-and we and our neighbors all have each other’s house key. I just had to fit that in.LOL
Donna? Her acting is impeccable—-always was. Gorgeous to boot!!

What is the Name of the movie that Donna Mills is going to be in on lifetime based on VC Andrews Dawn Culter Series this year. The Dawn Culter Series has a lot of movies (based on the books) what is the name of this movie series that Donna Mills is going to be in this year 2023?

When is the next Jesse Metcalfe movie in 2023

Yes!!What date is the first Movie” DAWN” on lifetime??

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Cullum Kidnaps Obrecht as Britt’s Replacement to Finish Faison’s Final Project

Published

WSB director Ross Cullum is truly as despicable villain as they come, and played with steely intensity by Andrew Hawkes. For the double agents latest crime, you need to look no further than the Friday, June 5 cliffhanger of General Hospital, where in the episode’s final moments he sneaks up on an unassuming Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) after hiding in the back seat of her car.

Next, he chloroforms her with his intent clear. He plans on forcing her to finish the last leg of Faison’s final project at Wyndemere, since her daughter Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) left town with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) in tow to get away from Cullum!

In what led to the kidnapping, Cullum had a terse conversation with his business associate and co-conspirator on the project, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). It is Sidwell who is preoccupied with wanting to bring Marco’s killer to justice (not knowing it’s the man right in front of him!). Sidwell told Cullum if bringing Marco’s killer to justice wasn’t a priority for the WSB director, then why should protecting Cullum be a priority for him?

SIDWELL VS. CULLUM

The two finally put aside their differences as they have to complete Faison’s final project for it will be highly lucrative for them, useful for their mutual gains, and groundbreaking. In order to do that they need a great mind with a scientific background to finish it up and get them to the finish line since Britt as disappeared.

Later, outside of “General Hospital,” Obrecht is headed back to her car after searching Britt’s office for any clues as to the whereabouts of her daughter. But when she got in the car to drive away, that’s when the aforementioned Cullum strikes!

BROOK LYNN GETS ADVICE FROM A FORMER ADULTERESS

In other key developments, after Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) keeps inserting herself into Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) life, all with the seeming pretense to pay back Chase for helping her clear her name at the trial, and standing by her, she brings good news in person about baby Phoebe’s adoption to Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) law office to Chase. Once Brook Lynn heard Chase was on her away over with paperwork, she decided to hightail it out of there for an “emergency” appointment for Deception.

As we come to find out, Brook Lynn meets up with Lucy (Lynn Herring) at the Metro Court pool, She then proceeds to inform Lucy about Willow sniffing around he husband. Lucy says she knows a thing or two about being an adulteress. Brook Lynn wants Lucy to help her send a clear message to Willow to stay away from her husband, or else!

Now below, check out the scenes before Obrecht was kidnapped where she visited Willow, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) and suspects Willow is up to no good.

Then let us know, with Lucy taking Brook Lynn under her wing, what plot do you think the two will come up with against Willow? What do you think will happen to Obrecht? With Lucas also at Wyndemere trying to bait Sidwell into an attempted murder charge, will he winds up thrown in the secret room with Josslyn?
