A fictional apartment building featuring a set of very eccentric tenants in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California is the backdrop for a new indie comedy sitcom based on the memoirs of the late Dick Van Patten, best known for his role on the ABC series, Eight is Enough.

The show entitled, Duke of the Valley is co-created by Dick’s son, Vince Van Patten and his grandson, Duke Van Patten, who also wrote the series together. In addition, Vince is also directing and one of the producers of the series.

According to The Wrap, Caitlyn Jenner will star as Heather a transgender “white trash” woman who sells perfume at the counter of Macy’s.  Others in the cast include: Vince Van Patten’s wife and two-time Daytime Emmy winner, Eileen Davidson (Ashley, Y&R and Ex- DAYS and RHOBH), who plays Brenda, a washed-up actress who can’t accept that her career in showbiz is over.

Vince Van Patten takes on the role of a homeless killer named Skipy, who demands to camp outside the apartment building.  Meanwhile, Duke Van Patten plays himself as an actor in Hollywood living in a dingy apartment building in the San Fernando Valley that happens to be owned by his ‘crazy uncle Jimmy”, played by none other than James Van Patten.

Duke of the Valley is currently in production, but without a network or streaming service attached to it yet.  Thus, no release date has been set as this time either.

So, what do you think of the premise of Duke of the Valley featuring Caitlyn, Eileen and Vincent? Comment below!

As much as I love the first two mentioned people I was excited to watch the program but since Catlin is in it I do not think so. I didn’t care for her before the transition and don’t like him now. I wish the husband and wife team much success.

This family contribution… IS ONE THING. but to “gamble” it away on a lookie lou ???? which is what this is ? unless Ms. Jenner can schtick; and look as comfortable, at ease, au naturel’ ‘SNAP’ !

” i ” truly, hope , this is a vehicle in which Ms. Jenner, can focus, entirely unto. it’s amazing the mystique… from Mr. American Olympian… gorgeous , at that. When Caitlyn covered “Vogue” I was taken, at how lovely, no matter how touched up…. and now… he’s enjoying his womanhood… I wish he would have done this so much earlier… and enjoyed his youth as a woman. I do not like that he’s republican. and since he does have a nest egg… he can go about his world more freely than most.

All the best to one of the hardest working queens in daytime, Eileen. Everything she does is gold. Ash, Kristen , she was the only real chick on housewives too! Rinna brought her down imo… Sidenote, anytime she cameos on y n r, she needs to share a scene with Eric. Ash and Vic are classic, throw in Nikki too. Shes much to precious to waste on silly scenes with Abby. Tracy and Jack aside, Vic and her are priceless. I ‘d love if she ever returns to Genoa more pt if her and the retired Vic team up to… Read more »

This sounds great. Can’t wait. I like my drama and”cop” shows but like a funny one in between. Good luck to them. Was a long time fan of Dick Van Patten and will be interesting to see C.J in a new and different Genre.

Great! That’s just what we need. A show making fun of hard working economically challenged people with description like a transgender white trash neighbor that works at perfume counter at Macy’s and a bunch of other down on their luck people living in a dingy apartment building in San Fernando Valley. Poor taste.

WATCH: Judith Light in Pink’s New Music Video ‘All I Know So Far’

Now this is a music video! Last night, Pink dropped her music video for her latest single, All I Know So Far.  In it, Pink looks back at her life.

The video features her husband, Carey Hart, their two kids, 9-year-old daughter Willow and 4-year-old son Jameson, Cher, and former OLTL alum, and two-time Tony and Daytime Emmy Award-winning star, Judith Light (Ex-Karen Wolek).

The video directed by Grammy winner Dave Meyers, starts with Pink asking Willow if she wants to hear a story before bed and from there the video turns into a fairytale-esque story with plenty of drama.

Light portrays Pink’s mother in the video in the heart-stopping dramatic fashion and with moments you would expect from her.

As Pink shares her story with her daughter she sets-up the story in the video: “Once upon a time there was a girl who was nine. She liked to be alone, thought she was all grown. Think you got attitude and sass? Doesn’t hold a candle to this bada**. She was fueled by her anger, and anger was her fuel. She hated her family and everyone at school.  Sometimes she’d go crazy, psycho, unhinged. Usually when her mama went off on a binge. She had no direction, she was always so stressed. All she knew is that she didn’t want to be like the rest. This is my story, it’s mine to tell, about how I learned how to break out of my cell. There’s only one way you can truly live free, it lies in the power of when ‘I’ becomes ‘me.’

The song is featured in Pink’s upcoming documentary by the same know All I Know So Far set to debut on May 21st on Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, Pink is set to receive the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards on May 23rd.

On Saturday, Light shared on social media: @Pink what a joy & privilege to be in this powerful new video w/ you & @cher This story of transformation, facing even the most difficult challenges, & being a mother who shares w/ her child her journey & truth about herself! Magnificent”
