Now that Theo (Tyler Johnson)brought to Genoa City some key intel he shared with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to payback Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), The Young and the Restless is adding another character to the mix.

Enter Elizabeth Leiner in the role of Tara Locke, who over the last several episodes has been much talked about.

Look for Tara to arrive on the canvas on the March 1st episode of the CBS Daytime drama series, as she shares a colorful past with Kyle including that they presumably share a child together … a son named Harrison.

Apparently, the two had an affair when Tara was married to ruthless businessman, Ashland Locke.

The role is said to be recurring as of now.

Leiner has appeared in Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, also Suburban Swingers Club and Nanny Killer among other credits.

OOHH here we go again-
Kyle is going to be lovey for his old love
and there will be baby drama..
Summer will be put aside, again.
And Phyllis will be mama-bear.
Same soap plot just different players.
It will be interesting, hopefully,
and we just might stay awake through an episode LOL
I’m not a Kyle and Summer fan, so let it roll.
oohh what is the age difference between Kyle and Tara?
((real-life and soap-life?))

Oh, Su000, why, why, WHY? Another blah character in the endless past of Kyle Abbott. They finally have a really good actor in the role and then sink him with Summer and a seemingly endless libido. Is this the ONLY plot they could regurgitate? And so many other characters remain unused. For shame!

When this new actor first arrived on the canvas as the new Kyle, I thought he was exciting, different, kind of a throwback to the old classic movies. When he was paired with Lola, he was on fire. They should have taken their time with their courtship. I loved Lola and her food truck! Kyle was funny and cute as the entitled rich boy trying to order a Cuban sandwich from the beautiful, street-wise, chef. It was their contrasts and differences which made them so interesting. Now that he’s with the forever petulant and sulky-Summer, he’s dull and bland.

You’re so right, Harry. I don’t know if it’s Summer dragging these guys down (look how great Matthew Atkinson is on B&B vs. how dull Summer’s Austin was) or the writers. But either way, they’re crippling some very promising young actors. Kyle and Lola were a real team.

I’m glad that I stopped watching this crap. 2020 made me realize that I have wasted too much time of my life on this lousy soap .

I’m upset, too, Annette. WHAT are they thinking? This past year has been one of the worst ever, and I started watching in 1973! I may soon take a page from your book.

Me also. They need to fire all the writers And hire some that know the past and can write for now. You just don’t realize how many fans you have lost!

Y&R needs to get it together! Too many new characters no one cares about and many existing characters left to drift at sea. I liked Sally Spectra on B&B, but not her Phyllis Summers 2.0! Adam.needs to be sent out of town permanently. He can’t be redeemed and is nothing but a big baby! Sharon needs to go back to therapy, because that chick is warped! And Theo, need i say more?? A future Adam, blaming everyone for his problems.

Another tired, auxiliary story about the dull duo of Kyle and Summer. Meanwhile, no Kevin, no Chloe, no Jill, Paul, Lauren, Michael, Nina, Traci, Ashley….why? Seems like they’re trying to clone B&B with all these under 40s’ stories. I’m not happy.

Courtney Hope is such a beautiful woman, but the hair and makeup people at Y&R take away that beauty daily with ridiculous hairdos and makeup and unflattering clothes and colors. Let Sally shine!!!

The think Tara is a little too old for Kyle. She’s a beautiful woman but Kyle looks like a baby in comparison

I felt like I must have missed 3 weeks or so, as rapidly as Kyle fell out of love with Lola. That was “knee jerk” fast. Also has anyone noticed how much Kyle looks like Robbie Rotten from Lazytown?? Check it out!
Why did they put Tara Locke in that unflattering white jumpsuit for 3 days straight? And WHAT was up with Abby’s fingernail polish?….very tacky!

She is a terrible actress!!

Have not seen much of her… but, I do disagree, and would like to see you try and do better.

I agree…she’s awful.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you! Finally, somebody said what I was thinking. She is so blah and boring and monotone. The clothes they put on her are like clothes they would put on a 90-year-old woman they’re horrible!!

K anyone else think Elizabeth Leiner is so AWKWARD and uncomfortable to watch? I fast forward through it. Really wish they would’ve cast a more talented actress for this part. She’s hard to watch.

I do, Stef. She’s an okay actress but she doesn’t seem like a rich gal. Her clothes look like they’re wearing her (does she own anything but shapeless sheer fabric tops?) She and Sally conspiring would be a real low point for me, even though Kyle and Summer bore me when together. I can only get through their scenes by thinking about how gorgeous he is and his great hair. This story feels like a dead end to me.

Yes. Can’t stand to watch her. Terrible actress & to old for Kyle.
I also was happy Summer & Kyle were finally getting it right even though I can’t stand the actor playing Kyle.

Totally agree!! What a horrible new character. They could have finally finished the Kyle and summer saga but no find another poor actress to throw in there.

She’s looks even older than she is and she’s gonna scare off beautiful talented Summer get real. This story line stinks. They gave Sally way to much advantage but this sucks.

I don’t like her character

I cannot fathom why the writers of Y and R are still on the job. Take the children in the series, Lilly’s 2 kids are all grown up and graduated, Faith is now a teenager, and Victoria and Billy’s 2 children haven’t aged a day. Synchronize guys, this is beyond juvenile to think that viewers would not notice this aspect about the children

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

Published

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.

In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.

However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS

Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.

Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall.  It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.

With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.

The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.

The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW

As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.

O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”

Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”

You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.

Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
