Creator Gregori J. Martin of the hit web series, The Bay gave On-Air On-Soaps some very exclusive casting news!  Former Guiding Light favorite Scott Bailey (Ex-Sandy) has joined the cast in the new role of snarky and hunky news reporter, Nathan Perkins for the  second half of season two!

Fans can expect Nathan to shake things up with his wicked reporting in chapter 8 and 9 of the series, and then really stir things up for the Garrett family in season three!  What we do know is that while Nathan is a sight to die for, he has an “I’m God’s gift” personality that can get under anyone’s skin.  He’ll stop at nothing for a good meaty story.

Season two of The Bay will return to your computer screens on Thursday, April 26th with shooting resuming next week , March 22nd!  Of course, many soapers know that Scott is married in real-life to The Bold and the Beautiful’s Adrienne Frantz (Amber).

So what do you think of the casting of Bailey in the role of Nathan?  And, if The Bay were to develop a romantic interest for him, who on the canvas should it be?

Excellent news! Looking forward not only to The Bay’s return, but also in seeing Scott Bailey. Wonder if Manny has some competition when it comes to Marly, or maybe Zoey will need a shoulder to cry on? Can’t wait to find out!

oh I can’t wait for The Bay to return. Looks like we’re in for a lot of interesting things happening. I think it would be interesting to see reporter Nathan worm his way into Zoey’s life. He could pretend to be interested in her but really looking for any information on the Garrett family. I’m just going to sit back and enjoy whatever Gregori has planned for us. So far, it’s been a great ride watching The Bay. So looking forward to seeing it again.

I think Marly has her hands full with a husband and Manny, but I do agree that Zoey could be a good fit. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how Gregori develops this new character. Just one more reason to look forward to the return of The Bay!
