FIRST LOOK: One Life to Live Preview Of All-New Episodes!

One Life to Life fans can now check out this first look sizzle reel of scenes from all new episodes of The Online Network’s revival of the series!
The show has just released this two-minute clip package with selected scenes which foretells some of the stories you are about to see when One Life to Live returns with all new episodes on April 29th via Hulu, HuluPlus and iTunes! In the description for the just released video preview it reads: “One Life To Live and Llanview are about to get even hotter! Who will find love? Whose lives will be torn apart? These are the One Life To Live stories you’ve waited to be told!”
Check out Erika Slezak and Jerry verDorn as Clint and Viki, Florenica Lozano as Tea, Dani played by Kelly Missal being carried out of Club Shelter in the arms of her dad Todd Manning (Roger Howarth), Dani and a shirtless Matthew (Robert Gorrie) having some very hot scenes together! A shirtless Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King), and the return of the Cramer women, Robin Strasser as Dorian and Kassie DePaiva as Blair, Hillary B. Smith and Robert S. Woods as Bo and Nora, and Melissa Archer as Natalie and Josh Kelly as Cutter getting pretty hot and heavy too!

General Hospital
RATINGS: ‘General Hospital’ Shows Most Gains in Total Viewers Week-Over-Week and Up in Key Demo
The ratings are out for the week of August 24-28 for your favorite broadcast television soaps, and it was ABC’s General Hospital which added the most total viewers and planted itself firmly in third place in its battle with Beyond the Gates in the key demos of women 18-49 and 25-54.
According to Soap Opera Network, all daytime dramas were up year-over-year, and General Hospital was joined by The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful with gains in their total audience viewership, while Beyond the Gates was only slightly off pace for the ratings week.
Let’s take a look at what had viewers tuning-in, starting with General Hospital, who added +79,000 viewers. While still under the 2 million viewers mark (which they can hopefully return in the coming weeks) their overall tally was an average of 1, 935,000 tuning-in, while still up year-to-year +136,000.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
In addition, GH while actually down from the previous week in the 18-49 ratings share, they still out performed Beyond the Gates for third place. However, GH was firmly in third place for the 25-54 ratings share.
The stories that were featured for the week included: Anna’s (Finola Hughes) PTSD and struggle with painful memories tied to Cesar Faison, and her concocting a plan to get rid of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) recording Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) threatening her, and later running into a severe threat from Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) regarding Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, and Drew enlisting Ava (Maura West) to gain leverage over Jack, which resulted in Ava drugging him, while Drew went snooping for the evidence Brennan had against him.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Y&R remained in the top spot amongst all the soaps once again with 3,062,000 tuning in, and up +35,000 for the week, while year-to-year still showing strong gains at +231,000 viewers. However, while Y&R remained #1 for the 25-54 ratings share, it fell to #2 in the 18-49 ratings share behind The Bold and the Beautiful.
In story for the week, Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) sobriety in rehab was a focus, as was Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) hitting the Jabot office couch and having sex for the first time, and Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson) battling over control and ownership of Chancellor Industries.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
B&B is continuing to be inch closer to Y&R for the top spot, separated by a little more than 300,000 viewers. For the ratings week, the series posted a total audience of 2,719,000 adding +31,000 eyeballs overall, and like Y&R, is up year-to-year in its performance.
The CBS soap now , now in its 40th season is +217,000 from the same time last year. In the key demos, The Bold and the Beautiful was in the top spot for the women 18-49 ratings share and number two for women 25-54.
In story, the major threat to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne’s (Murielle Hilaire) marriages continued as Steffy and Carter swore they would not tell their spouses that the two had a drunken hook-up. But as viewers know now, Steffy is pregnant!

BEYOND THE GATES
Beyond the Gates tallied an average of 1,611,000 total viewers for the week, up +72.000 year-over-year and down slightly in tune-in for the week losing just -36,000 viewers. The CBS soap came in fourth place in the key demos for the week behind General Hospital, with whom they are often trading places for the third spot.
In story, after Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) was released from the hospital, Hayley (Marquita Goings) stuck to her plan, doubling down on poisoning him and even getting caught in a major lie or meeting with Randy (Maurice P. Kerry), as Vernon (Clifton Davis) may be on to her machinations.

Kelly Sullivan Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’s’ Maura West Recalling When Ava Shot Connie (Exclusive)
It was just over 13 years ago on General Hospital when Ava Jerome (Maura West) shot and killed Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) in an effort to keep her quiet from revealing that Derek Wells was actually Ava’s back-from-the-dead brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry). It’s a crime that somehow Ava never has quite paid for either.
The episode back aired on August 13, 2013 and viewers had to say goodbye to Kelly Sullivan who played Kate and her alter, Connie. In the story, just before she died, Kate/Connie scrawled the letters AJ in her own blood, initially making the PCPD and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) think that it was AJ Quatermaine (Sean Kanan) who did the deed.
Now, Sullivan recalled sharing scenes with the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning West, during a live conversation on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel. Kelly was the special guest talking about her recent return to the soaps in her new role as The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darcy Dylan.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF MAURA WEST
Speaking of her final GH scenes and working with Maura West, Sullivan gave her then GH co-star major props. “If you’re going to be shot by somebody (on the soaps), you want to be shot by Maura West, c’mon!”
Maura West debuted back in May 2013 as Ava, and Sullivan remembered when the As the World Turns favorite began on GH. “I remember when Maura West first arrived at GH. She walked in with this cute little bob (hairdo) and she’s just delicious,” shared Sullivan.
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE
Kelly revealed more about Maura, adding “I think she’s amazing! I remember right before I left the show, someone suggested, and I would still love to do this with her, if she ever want to, but someone suggested that they wanted to direct the stage play A Streetcar Named Desire with Maura and I, where I would play Stella and she would play Blanche! Wouldn’t that be great?”
Speaking of the Ava/Connie showdown scenes, Sullivan expressed, “On television and on General Hospital specifically, Maura West is able to play a character who does the most horrendous things and you still care about her and that’s the mark of a really great actor. In other words, you’re able to be liked in the midst of the most horrendous things, and as a performer not shying away from that, and to just have the courage to do what’s on the page (in the script).”

Kelly also shared her sentiments when she walked off the set of General Hospital after her run back in August of 2013. “I really was honored. Every day I would go to work and I would say a little prayer, which is I want to do justice for my character, explained Kelly. “It’s between me and my character. I get to walk this path with her and to leave the show on that note, which is, I left every out there. I just gave it my all and again what an honor it was to play Kate/Connie.”

The question of will Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) stay awhile at General Hospital after his recent extended hiatus from the show earlier this year, has reportedly been answered.
TMZ via court documents obtained in Burton’s ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife Sheree Gustin, shared that Steve actually inked a new three year deal with the ABC soap opera back in June.
That is significant because it was June when Burton returned back to work as Jason. In addition, the court filing confirmed that Burton had already moved back to California from Tennessee.

STEVE’S HIATUS AND HIS RETURN TO PORT CHARLES
GH fans will recall, it was back in February of 2026, that Burton announced via his Instagram that he was stepping away from his role of Jason Morgan for short break and pointed to wanting to spend quality time with his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom Burton with whom he tied the knot back on May 17, 2025.
Steve expressed at that time, “I’m newly married and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.” It was back on March 25 that viewers saw Jason carted away by the WSB after taking the fall for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) who shot then WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Burton returned to work on June 1, and due to General Hospital taping roughly six weeks ahead of air, made his on-screen comeback on the July 13 episode.
GOING FOR GOLD AT THE UPCOMING DAYTIME EMMYS
Then, Steve and his enduring fans got an extra special treat on the same day, when it was revealed on Extra that he was nominated for the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category.
Steve previously won in the Supporting Actor category for his work as General Hospital’s Jason in 1998 and as The Young and the Restless’ Dylan McAvoy in 2018.
Now with Jason and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) relationship seemingly hitting the skids, plus Jason’s commitment to staying out of mob life to focus on being present for his son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), what does the future hold for the fan favorite character? Stay tuned.

I agree, you put it very well. Too much clubs, sex, etc will ruin it. ABC did know where to stop and I’m afraid PP hasn’t learned that yet. I was worried Llanview, the sets would look different so it wouldn’t feel the same. There are some minor, yet noticeable differences. I think PP did a better job than ABC. Thank goodness they got rid of the dreadful dog painting over Viki’s fireplace. 😉

I hate to use a cliche, but it looks awesome.
One of the great fears was the acknowledgement that any online serial to date suffered mightily from a shoestring budget. This looks expensive. Plus, it is a serious thrill to see so many returning players.

As a long time OLTL fan let me just say, I was excited at first it was coming back, but now I realize it wont be the OLTL I remember. They have vamped it up, & for some reason are going with the “sex sales” this time around. Look at the preview thats all it is, their promo shots are the same way. They could have let Star, John & Todd live on at GH untouched, but now with the rebbot that cant happen.
NO they can’t because ABC cancelled and used and abused these properties.They sold the rights to Todd and Star.They never thought that PP would make a go of it.YOU REAP what you sow.BTW GH will probably follow AMC and OLTL suit eventually!

Definitely believe that GH will go the way of OLTL once all the hoopla of the anniversary is over. After all if OLTL turns a profit at a cheaper cost to make, ABC will cancel GH in a heart beat. ABC has no loyalty to soap fans. Have we not learned this?

This looks amazing. Poor Dani, she’s going to become a problem child.
I’m highly offended that Destiny Evans is no longer being played by Shenell Edmonds. She was not the greatest actor (she did improve as the show went on) but she had a quality and a presence and her scenes with Tuc Watkins were hysterical and touching. And I also loved when she went off on Todd, er I mean Victor Jr. yelling “Stranger Danger.”
I also admired the fact that Shenell was not a “skinny minnie” waif, which is what “The New Destiny” appears to be. I have no problem with the producers sexing up the show, but they could have done it with new characters, not with existing ones.
Why would you be ”offended”? that Shenell is not returning?
She was sought for and asked to return, she said no..
She is finishing here collage and other life enhancing projects..

Shenell Edmonds said on her Facebook that she was asked, but because of her college schedule, they couldn’t make it work with the production schedule so she declined.
Thank you for that information; I don’t follow Shenell on Facebook so I didn’t know that. I also know actors sometimes will say they have scheduling conflicts because its “politically” not good for them to say “yeah, I wasn’t asked back.”
It was even mentioned here not too long ago that Shenell wasnt doing the show because of her college schedule!
I really wish people would not be negative towards the Reboots, we are getting our shows back. Our shows, we fought for two long years to get to this point, and I’m beyond excited to start seeing my OLTL again, and I’m even going to watch AMC which I never cared for as a supporter and am so happy that this day is actually nearing us, it’s just so GREAT. I don’t care how they differ, from before, just so we have OLTL back, and the Characters that they have on here are going to be AWESOME!!! YAY!!!!
I agree but honestly, I don’t even care what these haters say! remember haters are going to hate, it’s their job! and our job is to ignore them. So many people are employed again and doing something they love to do and have done for over 20 plus years! to have them back in any format is a blessing to them and the fans! We got our shows back! and I’m so excited that I can’t contain the excitement! The Promo was fantastic. ABC killed our shows! but PP has resurrected them! One Life Lives On!
I so agree with you, haters are going to hat, their not true fans IMO. I love that so many of the behind the scenes people got their jobs back, it’s just great. I don’t care how these shows are back, just so there back!!! Who cares if there’s more Sex, more cussing, more crazy Storylines, people half to dismiss reality when it comes to Soaps, because anything at all can happen, because it’s a Soap!!! I can’t wait for April, 29TH!!!!!
Technically it’s not a reboot.. all the main characters are being played by the same characters, and they are continuing the storylines from the ABC version.
A reboot is when they start over from scratch ala ‘Batman Begins’ w/ Christopher Nolan vs. Tim Burton’s 1989 ‘Batman’. While it’s the same characters, Nolan’s version ignores what transpired with Burton-Schumacher’s Batman, therefore it’s a reboot.
Lots of shows change networks, but this time it’s changing media. The show is picking up where it left off, so it’s not a reboot and it’s not OLTL 2.0.. it’s the same show, just presented differently.
I am just thrilled I have ONE LIFE TO LIVE back. The core characters are there. It can’t be exactly same. PP has more freedom to explore more innovative topics that basic cable won’t allow. Give it a chance people.
Give it a rest, grannies. It’s sexy, it’s hot, it isn’t trashy….look how sweet Bo and Nora looked in the sack. Something for everyone, and I couldn’t be more happy or grateful it is back.

Bottom line, the writers/actors/producers have to put @$$ in the seats.. not every die-hard soap fan is tech-saavy and won’t make the transition, so PP/TOLN have to target people that use this media regularly 16-49 age range.
Sorry, hand holding and smooches aren’t going to do it. PP/TOLN need to push the limits with OLTL. Soaps once pushed the limits of “decency” on TV, until the limits eventually became the norm.. which is why we’ve seen the soap genre phase out. No soaps are in a position again to push the limits, if they can push it and get people watching, the more likely they are to succeed and keep our soaps around for at least another 40 years.
When they bring on JWOW as a recurring character, it is a little trashy.
The studio behind the new “OLTL” and “AMC” want to use younger characters (and sexier actors) to help bring in younger viewers; 18-49 year-olds are the key demographic that advertisers covet because they are supposedly not set enough in their ways and will buy/try new products and have more discretionary income.
What the producers don’t realize is that younger viewers have NO interest in traditional soaps, online or on TV-they want Kardashian sisters. Prospect Park should learn from “General Hospital” and their revitalization-bring back legacy characters, tell stories well in a fast-paced way and get older, LOYAL viewers to tune in. And its the older viewers who have higher incomes and more money to spend on new cars, cruises, dining out, etc., NOT the under 30 year-olds.
Yeah that’s why they ditched all those oldie vets like Viki and Clint and Dorian and they would never show a mature couple like Bo and Nora making love.

Listen up DEREK and C and “The Trouble with the Truth”-I actually WORK in the TV business so I don’t “make this stuff up.” We see the numbers and know what people are watching, what their ages are, their incomes, etc. And you’re all probably lying about your ages and you’re the kinds of people that make me sorry I say anything on these boards.
When you hear about why the co-EP of OLTL quit the reboot, maybe then you’ll realize what I’m saying is true. And I’m pretty sure you three will be the first ones to complain about the new shows.

If young people didn’t watch soaps, then why did gossip girl, 90210, and countless others last so long? You say these new shows should be more like General Hospital. I am in tears. Everyone looks fantastic. The sets look terrific. Just this short clip feels like coming home. I feel like it’s with same family of people we’ve loved and missed so very much. Like others have said, I too was concerned that this show would be produced on a shoe string budget. So far, it certainly doesn’t look that way.
Others have made comments about content so I will too. How did Cutter get out of jail? Perhaps his mother, Alex, intervened. Natalie and Cutter together – an interesting combination. It seems that Dani has matured while we’ve been away. Not sure how I feel about that. I am excited by the possibilities for Matthew and Destiny as young adults. (I understand the reasons for the recasts and don’t mind.) The clip seemed to indicate that Viki and Clint aren’t remarried yet. We can look forward to another Buchanan wedding. Hope it goes better than the last two. Dorian looked like she is ready to spit nails. Just the way we love her. Tea broke my heart. I so hope Victor (TSJ) will come home. These are my people and I’m so thrilled to have them back.

I love it. The chemistry between Blair and Todd is unbelievable. Love that Jack is angry (heck, I’d be if my father forgot about me for a year). Interesting triangle developing between Dani, Destiny, and Matthew. It’s real life people! LOVE the magic and class of Vicki and Clint. Love Dorian in all ways, and Vickerman is clearly the life of the party. MAGIC. April 29. TOLN. Here’s to the future! Your fans are behind you 100%!

If PP was smart, id try to convince MTV to air repeats of OLTL…MTV has that age group PP wants most. Im not offended or upset by what ive seen(sex scenes look about the same as network sex scenes to me) but it still takes more than sex sells(hope they arent too dependent on that) to buy me, and its the storylines that interest me the most and have to engage me first to make me a fan again(like Dallas accomplished) and from what ive read from those teasers it sounds like it could be as good as it was before! I can see changes in Dani…she is Todds daughter and the death of Teas baby could have affected her just as much as it would Tea(thats if the babys dead)…Dani could be just acting out. Victor could be there…im certain the writers have to leave some suprises for the viewers. Soaps should bring back the big old fashion church weddings…i feel they are more romantic…id do this for Viki and Clint if they havent already done their renuptials! Dorians got to be in some sort of political scandal…i think! Not sure if i care for the changes in Mathew and Destiny yet…gotta wait and see! I once mentioned a Natalie and Cutter pairing which seemed obvious from the casting news…but it seems like Clint and Viki wouldnt approve. I still believe Jeffry is Davids son and will come between David and Dorian after Jeffry does that news artical on her. AS for the sex it doesnt look trashy so far unless its overused and just shown as instant gratification…i dont support sexual promiscuilty unless it is shown more realistically as a warning tool that unsafe sex can lead to an unwanted pregnancy, STDs and aids that is still out there! Im not complaining about any of this…its just my thoughts…like i said b4 im not judging a thing until i see how it all comes together!

OMG is all I can say as I try to regain my composure! I must have watched this trailer over 10x and each time it made me love the show, the actors, and PP even more! I don’t care which show you’re a fan bass of nobody can deny how absolutely remarkable this show looks!
For fans to see their vets return is a treat in itself! Watching Todd and Blair’s exchange and the look in their eyes literally made my heart skip a beat. There is too much history between these two that will never cease no matter what or who is on the show or another! There is no other but each other when it comes to these two!

Every scene that followed made me squeal with delight! It was remarkable! Dorian (who looks amazing), Bo and Nora exchanging some loving, the club scenes, the music, the atmosphere, the sex appeal, the everything was just Simply Magnificent! This trailer was an appetizer and I’m still hungry for more! I got the date 4.29.13 and I suggest you save the date to and tune in because One Life, has more lives to live!

I so agree, I’m so sick of everyone hating on the new shows, PP was our only hope, don’t you think they’d all be jumping with happiness, I know I am, you can either have you’re show or not, it’s that simple, i think everyone with the negative comments aren’t true Fans of the Shows, it’s ridiculous how often I see negative comments towards OKTL-AMC-GH, crazy, so not right, I’m so thankful to PP for bringing us our shows back!!! I will take them any way I can get them!!! Cannot wait till April, 29th.

I like Dorian’s new hair-do, she looks great! I hope it is a mix on young & older characters and not just the young ones. Viki & Clint (YES)! Can’t wait! Wonder what the intro music for OLTL is going to be like???? I hope they didn’t change it too much. And

I think it’s a necessity they find a ‘happy balance’ between legacy characters and newbies. To focus on newbies would alienate their core fanbase, to focus too much on legacy characters might fail to attract their target audience. The show has to push the limits, while staying true to itself.

I hope they re-cast John McBain also. It might take a minute to adjust to a new actor but I think the fans will accept a new actor in the role. After all, we all know Michael Easton would not return. We just want Natalie and John together with Liam.
Natty is with Cutter? If this is a continuation from where they left off then he’s supposed to be in prison in Anchorage,KY. I can actually see Clint having a problem with this especially since the “Gigi” incident.
Speculating on what the actors did or did not do vs. what they said they did is premature at this point. Remember that we’ve been seeing a lot of happy actors since they started filming and if I’m going to speculate about anything it is that viewers have been conditioned by the daytime networks to be distrustful. Let’s at least give the new shows a chance going in and REMEMBER that since they are online now and have more creative license, our feedback is (hopefully) more likely to be considered rather than ignored completely as under the old regime. I agree that the sets look amazing! I love that they rebuilt Llanfair but I haven’t seen La Boulaie yet and that’s making me nervous!
La boulaie is there…its purple now . Dorian is.standing in it when she throws here coat to the floor in a rage, also jack and david have a.scene in it together.
I love it! It looks terrific especially Viki and Clint. I am so happy to see all of the others also. I like the character of Dani so much better than Starr. Dani is a beautiful girl. I am also glad that Rama and Cutter are back. I hope Shaun will be on also. The scene with Destiny and her baby looked very sweet. It is amazing how it looks better visually than it did when it was on ABC. I cannot wait till it starts.

I’m a big fan of OLTL and I’m very excited about it coming back, but I agree with what everyone is saying about the sex, I won’t have a problem with it as long as it doesn’t overrun why people love OLTL.

a while to get use to . I liked them before and there was a balance of young actors & the actors that are our favorites that I mentioned in the beginning of my comments. We shall see what happens now.. I hope the OLTL I’ve come to know

I am so excited that my favorite soap opera is coming back to life “Who Says You Only Have One Life To Live” I sure would like to know what Brian Frons is thinking right now!!! He was so wrong in taking both these shows off the air in the 1st place. The fans really stood their ground and we Won!!! Soooooooo Excited, that I just can’t hide it!!!!..

I cannot wait til April 29, have been waiting since last year for them to post when it would premiere. I have been watching soaps since 1971 and I stop watching them when they cancelled One Life to Live and All My Children but I will definitely tune back in April 29. Thank you so much for continuing the legacy of good daytime soap television.
I have heard its starting out five years later after the last episode… I just wonder if that is true because seems lil innocent Dani will be having a lot of sex… but hate Clint just giving Viki a ring after 5 years? hmmm cant wait, the footage looks better quality now than before and the hair and makeup looks great too.
I can hardly wait for both shows to start. So happy I live in Canada !!!!
