Former Y&R Chief Maria Arena Bell On Michael Muhney Dismissal: "Frankly, he should have been let go months before because of his behind the scenes actions!"

The former executive producer and head writer of The Young and the Restless Maria Arena Bell spoke with Highlight Hollywood’s Tommy Garrett to clarify her recent statement to Soap Opera Digest that appeared in their last issue on the dismissal of Michael Muhney!
With this controversial story picking up more steam with Muhney and former co-star Hunter King (Summer) at the epicenter, Bell offered up this new statement on what she thinks of Muhney and the way the situation was handled by Y&R!
Maria Arena Bell: “Let me be clear. Tommy I am a fan of Michael Muhney the actor- not the person. Frankly he should have been let go months before because of his behind the scenes actions. It’s still a loss for the fans. Instead of acting quickly they tried to turn the fans against the character of Adam. Bad move. And they should not recast right away now. It’s too damaged. The only thing that matters in this story -now in TMZ is that a young girl is protected. She should have been all along. People should have been more decisive not less in this matter.”
The former EP and head writer went on to say: “I think they should have taken immediate action. They didn’t. Whatever happened, they need to protect the safety of the cast.”

The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.

Mark Consuelos Celebrates One-Year Anniversary as Co-Host of ‘Live’ Alongside Kelly Ripa
Today, April 17th marks a full-year since Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) took over the co-hosting duties of ‘Live” alongside his wife, and longtime co-host, Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley, All My Children).
Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest who are six seasons decided to be back on the west coast full-time. For Consuelos, now having the opportunity to work off of Ripa as co-hosts has been something of adjustment for him, but viewers have been eating it up.
Live with Kelly and Mark has remained the No. 1 entertainment talk show on television over the past year, growing 3% in average total viewers to 2.23M per episode. It is also the most-watched daytime talk show in the last year in key demos of women 18-49 and women 25-54. All of this, since the real-life marrieds teamed-up.

Speaking with Deadline, Kelly Ripa shared why the two are gelling on-screen, “I do think that there is something very possibly relatable about our relationship. We have disagreements like a normal couple, and we’re not afraid to let them unfold on the air and in front of America, and I think people find a lot of themselves in that.”
Mark weighed in how he has progressed as a host, and what he could improve at, sharing, “I’d like to get better at my interviewing skills. I’d like to get better at reading a teleprompter…I think I’m getting better at throwing to commercial. The other day in the middle of the show as we go to commercial, my sign off was ‘See you guys around.’ I mean, the show wasn’t over. The most obvious thing to say would be, ‘We’ll be back right after this.’ But I just said, ‘See you around.’ So we went to commercial and one of the producers (goes) ‘What was that?’ I don’t know… So for the next few sign offs, as a joke, I’d say ‘See you around.’ We got a kick out of it.”

Meanwhile, Kelly has given huge props to Mark, “I find Mark utterly compelling, really interesting, super funny, and he’s bold in a way like nobody else. He says what’s on his mind. If he’s thinking it, he says it. I’ve done this a long time and oftentimes people will adjust their natural personalities to pander to what they think the audience wants to hear, and Mark will tell people what he thinks, and he doesn’t care if it’s not a popular opinion. It gives him an edginess that I think is really missing in the landscape today. Everybody’s so afraid to say anything, and Mark is unafraid to say exactly what he’s thinking.”

DAYS Alum Tanner Stine to Appear in ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’ Starring Nicholas Chavez
Another face familiar to daytime fans has already boarded Ryan Murphy’s limited series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story which stars General Hospital favorite, Nicholas Chavez (Spencer Cassadine) in the role of Lyle.
Tanner Stine who played Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) son, Joey Johnson on Days of our Lives will also appear in the series.
In ‘Monsters’, look for Stine to portray the role of Perry Berman, who was Lyle and Erik’s friend and former tennis coach. In the story, Perry found himself at the epicenter of the murder mystery when he had accepted a phone call from Lyle shortly before the brutal murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez.

Other previously announced castings included: Cooper Koch (who plays Erik), Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny as parents Jose and Kitty Menendez, Nathan Lane as Dominick Dunne, Ari Graynor as Leslie Abramson, and Leslie Grossman as Judalon Smyth.

In the series, the two wealthy brothers stand trial for shooting their parents in Beverly Hills, amid claims of self-defense after years of abuse, while prosecutors alleged that greed was the motives for the killing. Lyle and Erik Menendez have been behind bars in California for more than three decades for the 1989 killing of their parents.
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story will debut later in 2024 on Netflix.

If the allegations are true…he should have been let go when they first came to light. For the safety of the female actor in question and any more to come. This kind of harassment should NEVER be permitted in any workplace no matter how popular/powerful the perpetrator is.
I agree with your comment. They allowed this situation to go on too long. It seems that is what Arena is saying. As a retired HR Director, I would have never allowed this behavior to persist without some type of action being taken. The young lady must have felt she had no way out, because they allowed it to happen without disciplining him, until they felt it was in their favor to do so. Hunter should have felt used and betrayed.

@kimhuck – I agree with you 100%. When I started my twitter account I followed all my soap actors, he was one of the first that I dropped because of his attitude. Sadly, most places take the man’s side at first, that’s why it took so long. It happened to me at my first office job and the boss said – nah he’s such a nice guy, then they caught him stealing and let him go.
I loved his character with Sharon but I have lost interest in him this past year. I think it is really sad he did all the twitter rants and fights with certain co stars and now this with this young girl was the last straw

I would hope that MM would be given the chance to be considered “innocent until proven guilty”. I have no idea if he did or did not do anything inappropriate. Neither does anyone else. So far, it is an allegation made by a cast member, Hunter. She’s young, very young. Perhaps there were advances made from either party, who knows….do you know, where you there? Regardless, unless there is proof in some form other than her word, how could a man lose his job? I’m not in any way defending inappropriate behavior by a man, but being said, who knows the truth. The double standard is staggering. When Jeanne Cooper groped a young Joshua Morrow off screen (several times), everybody on the set laughed about it.
Where is there any proof that he did this? The latest article I’ve read says that Hunter King made advances towards Michael Muhney, and when he rebuffed her, she created this lie! In all honesty, I don’t believe either story! If Michael Muhney did this, why on earth would he be allowed to come back and continue filming after he was let go? And why would he have been invited to Billy Miller’s going away party? These diffusing tabloids need to get proof, before printing this crap, now two peoples careers / reputations are on the line!

Most likely that someone was Angelica McDanials who is married to the TMZ executive and she ought to be fired on the spot for her lack of professional ethics. Clearly, they sacrificed the young lady in order to save their own hides when the tidal wave of fan uproar overtook them. The next head which should roll is JFP for wating 6 months before acting upon said complaints. If the actor is indeed guilty of this crime, then it follows he should have been fired on the spot without storyboard concerns. The comment regarding sexual predator seems very unjust. How do you know that? Do you know him in real life? I never saw this in his Adam portrayal. He was loyal to anyone he was with at the time. Remember he was married to Sharon, Skylar and Chelsea. Of all of the relationships, I really enjoy Adam’s relationship with Chelsea and hope it can develop more in the next month. Today was great; he told Chelsea that he is committed to her and they are engaged. It’s more real and realistic. Of course, Victor will put the screws to that because he knows that Adam hit Delia (which in reality was an accident. Adam (distraught over Connor’s eyesight) got out of the car and i think he thought that he hit the little dog…Adam never even knew there was anyone with the dog. Victor can’t stand to see anyone happy and he never played any role in raising Adam and has always been out to destroy him even when Adam took a bullet for the old fart. I don’t think that Victor is a happy character. It is time for him to go.
I doubt that CBS is going to reverse their decision, they think they are too important…and we’re just dirt under their feet. “Whatever happened”– so basically she really doesn’t know what “happened” but is choosing to believe the rumors as fact. Shame on her. She wouldn’t know what is going on set there anyway now, she was fired too. Sounds like to me she may be holding some bitterness for Muhney badmouthing her storylines in the past and welcoming JFP with open arms after her dismissal. These people should chose their words VERY carefully if they have not talked to Michael personally. Innocent until proven guilty. Why do people automatically think Hunter is telling the truth? I am going to wait until Muhney or his lawyers make a statement. Either way, none of this changes the fact that Y&R is still horrible now & Muhney leaving is still a reason to quit a sucky show.

I do remember that, but what I am saying is, they could be false allegations & they are choosing to believe Hunter because she is 20 years old. People have been falsely accused before. That is why we say innocent until proven guilty. 20 year old actresses aren’t these innocent creatures. Either way, it will all depend on how Muhney responds to this. If it is BS, then his lawyers will have to take action. If they don’t, well, then maybe we have our answer. Still, the show is still bad.
I don’t know much about anything on this matter, but I can bet you Maria still has LOTS of connections at YR. Between the friends she made over the many years she worked there, not to mention her brother-in-law working right down the hall, there are plenty of ways she probably gets her information. Showbiz is a small world, and daytime is an even smaller part of that world. Maria is probably still very well connected and it just means she gets information faster, and from reliable people.
Her word choice- “Whatever happened”- might not be because she doesn’t know, but because she could get in big trouble is she specified. I think she used those words precisely as a way of choosing her words VERY carefully.

Michael Muhney (Adam) has always been my most favorited actor on Y&R. I will never believe the allegations involving Michael and King until he comes out and says it’s true. If Hunter had a crush on Michael and didn’t go her way so she is saying slanderous allegations about him now”and probably the powers to be our pushing Hunter To put a very negative spin like he is the bad guy and she Snow White. And if the truth be known Hunter had this huge crush on Michael and didn’t stop to think about his family and the hurt that it could do to them.(Just a reminder Heather King we fans love Michael and want him to stay please go and find you another Soap and lust on one of them !!1

This isn’t a soap opera here. This is real life. You’re foreshadowing “plots” as if they were on the show. I don’t know what happened between Michael, Hunter and CBS, but these are certainly the kinds of wacky theories people speculate about the direction of the show.

It is rather sad that the show is so bad right now that people are discussing the behind the scenes stuff like it was a soap opera plot. Perhaps if they put on decent stories on screen fans would be less incline to look for drama behind the scenes. Whatever happened, it was handled badly and shame on whoever violated MM and HK privacy and leaked what should have been a private matter if true and if not true for spreading lies.
Surely, Shirley, you don’t really think this young actress would jeopardize her career by making a false accusation? Do you think she would really risk the wrath of rabid Michael Muhney fans just to seek revenge for his not welcoming her advances? That would only happen in a soap opera.

it makes as much sense as Muhney, a seasoned actor with everything to lose, jeopardizing HIS career, family, marriage, etc all for an alleged boob squeeze. He is an adult man who has been in this business for years. He knows what could happen if he acted like that. Hunter is green still & only got the job because of her Hollywood Heights connection to JFP. She may not realize the damage her possible false allegations could do to HER. All allegedly of course. I’m shocked that ppl would so quickly jump to the defense of a man who is obviously known by the cast etc to have been a horrible human being behind the scenes. That poor girl having to endure sexual harassment and then being called basically a liar. He should have been fired ages ago if this was a regular occurrence. TPTB obviously cared more about ratings than the safety of their female cast. Just because he was one of the most popular actors doesn’t mean he was a popular guy behind the scenes. Lisa. I love Paul too and think Doug is just a fabulous actor. I feel the same about Peter Bergman. Like Paul, Jack has always gotten a raw deal as far as love and children are concerned. He has always played second choice to both Victor and Nicholas Newman, not only in areas of romance, but in areas of paternity. Summer makes it clear again and again that she really wishes Nicholas is her father (which he is thanks to some deplorable writing which came out of left field–really, it was set up from the get go that Jack was the biological father). I love your idea of Keemo coming back. Maybe he could hook up with Summer after she realizes Jack is not her father. They could make a handsome pair.

It is time to let it go. It doesn’t matter what happened there is no way on earth the show will ever hire him back to play Adam. Y&R whether people like it or not is still the highest ranked soap– if this show goes down, it is a safe bet the rest of them will go with it. So I will continue to watch with or without him. It is just a shame if true the show didn’t give him the option of quitting, thereby avoiding all this hate on both sides. The standard ” I need more time with my family” would have been enough anyone of us needed to know. And shame on the person who either violate MM and HK privacy to “clear JFP of wrongdoing” or spread rumors to take the heat off of her— either way it was wrong. JFP has been doing this for a long time and a lot of people have bad mouthed her for years, if she was so thin skinned she would have quit years ago, so she could have handled any backlash from fans. So the person who blabbed or started the rumor should be fired too. And the last thing I will say about it.

I don’t know if MAB wants back in but current Executive Producer Jill Farren Phelps is inept. I don’t know why CBS hired Phelps who has a horrible reputation and it’s widely known in the business…she is known as the soap killer; 4 soaps were mismanaged by Phelps and cancelled. Is Y&R next? I don’t really care as I’m all done watching after 1/30.
If Hunter do not come forward to contradict TMZ’s story then I fear it may be true because I can’t see a Network going out of their way to seriously damaged one actor’s career, possible for life.
I disagree because CBS ruined Dan Rather’s news casting career because he reported about then President Bush non service in the National Guard. It was reported by a National Guard representative that Bush did not show up for duty. Because this report was disloyal to President even though it was true. Don’t exactly remember all of the details but Lara Morgan was suspended. Rather sued CBS for a number of employer infractions and I believe he was awarded a large sum if money but his career in news was over. CBS can be ruthless,!

What happened to the HR Team? Did they hide their heads in the sand and if so, by whose orders? There is alot of unknowns here but as a previous General Manager of a very large group of associates, the first step when allegations of this nature are brought forward, the decision is made to “suspend” the accused with pay pending investigation. Yet, he was allowed to continue working because “he was needed in some crucial scenes”? This situation reeks of bad judgement and if the allegations against MM are proven, more than his head should roll. I would say, “Good bye and good riddance, JFP!”.
I truly hope they’re not, for the sake of Hunter King and Michael Muhney. As a HUGE fan of MM, if this happened as some sites are reporting, I will take the stand of supporting Hunter King.
MAB herself wasn’t fired soon enough during her tenure, instead, she was given “creative authority” to destroy Sharon’s character by having her take over Newman and marry Victor! For someone who loved Adam and Sharon’s love story, those actions don’t exactly prove her point. Furthermore, She is no longer a part of the show and has no place commenting on an alleged situation, that she has no part in, and that hasn’t even been confirmed.

If he was so awful, why didn’t MAB get rid of him? I do agree with her that if MM was touching someone, he should have been suspended immediately, escorted from the lot and not allowed to continue working. How often have we had emergency recasts on soaps? It happens and fans are fine with it. They could have done that if they had to get through story while they investigated or fired him.
I have to admit, I did think MM’s statement about making sure his families ‘well-being’ was okay after he was fired as firings aren’t that unusual in the acting world.
I really hope these allegations aren’t true. It’s a real shame if they are.

So, like so many others, MAB is speculating on what went down. But, she was there for 3 years with the actor and found no reason to terminate him…unless she too turned a blind eye to his behavior. A mouthy, difficult, opinionated actor is not exclusive to Muhney. Braeden has had many of the same characteristics for years. So, unless his behavior went beyond this and he did sexually harass another co-worker (which she is not admitting any knowledge about) it appears she is using this as an opportunity to badmouth the current regime…maybe in a play to get her job back.
Believe me, I am NOT a fan of JFP, I have seen too much of her destructive path with other shows but, MAB seems to be speaking out more for her own agenda than anything else.
I was pretty close to being done as a regular viewer of Y&R anyway. I record the show and find that I either FF through it or watch the first few minutes to see what stories/characters are being featured…then hit delete. There are several characters I enjoy – Jill, Jack, Victoria, Billy – and would watch their scenes. Most of the rest of the show is dreck and not worth bothering with anyway. If I were to stop watching it would have more to do with the sub-par storytelling than the loss of a particular actor(s).
IMO, those are the reasons the show is sinking…poor plots, shoving Dylan down our throats, lack of focus…all of which can be laid at the feet of JFP…plus, residual from MAB herself.
Completely agree with you! It wouldn’t be such a hit if I knew that the show had exciting story and featuring other fun characters to pick up the slack. But the fact is, there isn’t much left. The show is depressing and with everything that’s being foreshadowed, I don’t expect that to change. I’m not here to watch Victor utter jackass and son of a bitch every 5 mins and the recycled plots we already saw 10 yrs ago!! MS, BM and MM made the show bearable with their superior acting and with them gone, the cracks are going to get even bigger.
Lots of drama behind the scenes at Y&R, actually more than on the screen. How sad is that! Also, lots of people who cannot differentiate between the hired talent and the characters they portray. Fact is no one really knows what happened. What we have today is an over-informed, less knowledgeable America fueled by gossip/reality shows and social media. This issue really is no one’s business but those involved. If it is meant to be, the truth will be revealed in time, just like on the show. 🙂 The show, by the way, is bigger than any one actor; but if you do not want to watch because Billy Miller or Michael Muhney are gone, then don’t. That’s your right. The problems here are larger. Something’s wrong at Y&R and has been wrong for about 8 years now. 3 show runners later, this show is in huge disrepair. There needs to be change at the top; and this time, there needs to be change for the better. We need someone who loves, cherishes and respects the show and the genre, while maintaining some level of good business sense. JFP is not the individual who can fix this problem.

How about these words Miss Bell? “I made a mistake, I was wrrrrrrrrrrrrr.” I know that last word is hard try again. “I was wrrrrr….wrrrr…Okay, I was WRONG, and I am sorry.” Reading her mixed up opinions which seem to turn on a dime gives one an inkling as to why she was such a poor story writer who paid no fidelity to character driven storylines. Mr. Fairman, I respect your journalistic integrity and I usually enjoy your interviews, but frankly, I don’t GAS what Maria Bell has to say on the matter as her opinions are as irrelevant as they are nonsensical.
PS–I neglected to write ‘actor’ after his in the second sentence. But I also wanted to add that maybe Y&R actors and former writers need to STFU about this matter until the details rise above mere accusations, hearsay and allegations. I love DAYS too, but I am get a tad bored with you trashing Y&R to support it. If you get your wish and everyone stopped watching Y&R to watched DAYS do you really think that will help DAYS? Trust me if CBS has the balls to finally cancel this soap, NBC will follow and cancel DAYS. So love DAYS, great, but be careful for what you wish for, because if Y&R goes down, all the daytime network soaps will go with it, including your beloved DAYS.

I really do believe the molestation should have never been allowed. I feel that it spread like a cancer throughout Y & R and it all started with their matriarch. They all need professional help. If that happened at DAYS, I would be saying the same thing.

Days did the same story line when Chelsea hit Zach her half brother and he died. It was a story line, so why put that in your post about MM? IMO, Y & R has always been dark and gloomy. A show that writes in the form of depression does not need o add a death of a child.
I did not like when DAYS killed Zach, but at least the other storylines helped balance the depressing material. DAYS has a good mix of stories told in different styles.
Y & R does not let up on depression and they added insult to injury by killing a child to pave the way for the exit of a shady actor.
To all you people praising MM, please refer to my previous post. Bottom line, if this was not the truth, can you not grasp the fact, that “the VICTIM’S” publicist would have put a statement out immediately denying this. Just because you truly enjoy a character on a soap, does not mean that actor is a good, decent person. And this comes from someone that has been an idiot over a long time character from another show. Loved loved loved the character, but the actor is a totally different person, that i can honestly say I would not want to call a friend. An actor and a character are TWO different beings.

She was probably encouraged by more senior actors which didn’t like him (Eric Braedon for example) since Michael (as Adam) could have actually replaced Victor if he retired or his contract demands ($$$) were not met. Eric could be acting as her friend in order to get his dirty work done. Who knows- no one posting on here does.
Regardless guilty or not – he is so much Adam Newman in my mind I will not be able to watch another face attempt to play that role. Michael as Adam Newman can no more be replaced than Jeanne Cooper could be replaced as Katherine Chancellor or Eric Braedon could be replaced with someone else as Victor Newman. He was brilliant! Shortly before his firing was announced, I was thinking where the story line with Adam could go and in my opinion, the future story could have been built around Adam if Victor were no longer on the show and could have remained successful.
They have quickly removed so many of the key actors (ones that carry the show) and at a bad time because the storylines have been dull and boring for a while now- Adam Newman was the excitement of watching the show. I believe there will be a ratings drop. Karma is a bitch…. Hunter cost Michael his job. Wouldn’t it be ironic if she is the one who ends up in the unemployment line ?The girl has minimal acting skills at best. I wonder how she got the role in the first place.
As for myself, I won’t watch anymore after Jan 30. I hear Michael may be going to General Hospital…. if so, that will be the soap I start watching. With any luck, all the actors Y&R has let go will reunite on GH.

I will never watch Young and the Restless again. This is unacceptable that they kept him so long. It says a lot about the head honchos at Y & R. They deserve to lose more viewer due to their despicable actions of not getting rid of him ASAP.

The show has become unwatchable. So many worthless plot points that go no where, and the overall show is just depressing. I’ll admit I’ve root Adam, but don’t know MM. I am curious as to why MAB signed him back if she loathed the person so much. She had Adam briefly dead after an explosion. Easily have made him dead dead.
MAB is covering her butt in this interview, and that’s probably not a bad idea. Seems MAB only knows what we do, which isn’t much. She is right if they had known MM had indeed done this, they should have axed him on the spot. Oh well vacation time is over, and all the lawyers in LA will be back.

wow. so just a few weeks ago everyone was up in arms, hating on jfp, eric braden, everyone except MM. Oh how the tides have changed! Once more news came to light, true or not, there has to be something to it. i’m still watching y&r, but i’m also now watching days and GH…just so i’ll still have something to watch when I can’t take it anymore.

Sounds like to me she is back tracking from what was said in the last article. Why I don’t know. But there are two sides to ever story and its a bunch of he said she said going on. People are assuming this happened because she said so. We may never know what happened and who was at fault. There is a different side floating around out there that has already come out. I do believe that from his pictures and videos with his family he is a family man. His family stands behind him on both sides and support him.. I feel sorry for what every one involved is going through and hope this will soon be over for their sake and they can move on. People should not pass judgments on others without facts, rumors are rumors until proven otherwise. It doesn’t matter who speaks for it or against peoples futures and lives are at stake here. I will support him and wherever he goes I will go. I have not watched the Y&R since I read about him leaving. It sickens me because I feel like this could have been handled behind closed doors and because of the way it was handled I will never watch this show again.
I’m disappointed with the rush to judgement . Innocent until proven guilty. I will be signing off with YR after January 30th. I began watching YR from the beginning. I remember being a child and being disappointed with Watergate interrupting YR episodes. Michael Muhney is the reason I kept watching. I felt he was the future of the show. He is an exceptionally talented actor and I think he is currently being thrown under the bus.
The Y&R is on its last leg! They will let two of the main charters go! I am sure The founders of the soap are distraught how the new execs & writers are completely destroying the show! It what Michael did was so bad why wasn’t he escorted off the set, instead he taped several more scenes & I am sure they will be his best work yet! Billy the other main character not paid what he is worth but yet they will pay several others that are on theIr last leg and no I am not knocking them but if the Y&R is going to have a future the executives of CBS/Sony better get a hand on the execs & writers of the show! Since we have been given no facts, I can only comment on what my gut is telling me. Adam’s character has had no scenes with Summer’s character. Did anyone see him touch her? He is a highly respected actor, happily married father of three. Why would he risk touching her, especially since she really appears to have little to touch? It is far more believable that she would have flirted with him and he rebuked her, angering her enough to yell to CBS. Most highly intelligent people are quirky to be around, and very arrogant. Professional people know this and should be able to tolerate it. We still don’t know the behind the scenes activities that supposedly bothered the powers that be. If all it was , was the ranting of Eric Braeden and Michael on Twitter, that’s nothing? Remember there is no bad publicity! Y&R is suffering right now. Actions need to be made to save this wonderful soap. Somebody, please make it all go away!
Sure, sure, sure, of course. That makes much more sense. A woman scorned, hell’s fury and all that. Certainly the course to take when “we have been given no facts” is to contrive scenarios in which the alleged victim is instead the alleged predator (burn the witch, eh?) intent on revenge. Because highly respected family men never ever behave inappropriately. So when in doubt, just blame the woman. Always the woman’s fault. Actually, it is illegal for us to know. Reasons for terminations are never shared with anyone in the public domain and continuing to publish these allegations are just as damaging to Hunter King.. This will hurt her career and she is young actor who I am sure whats to succeed.. Young men (right or wrong) will not be comfortable working with her for fear of what could happen to them.
I don’t support this type of action but I don’t know if it is true and I give people the benefit of the doubt until something is confirmed. In this case I have no right to know.

I feel this allegation is fabricated to make it more juicy all the while Jill Phelps has been planning to eliminate Michael Muhney since October or November. I read this in something recently and all the while poor Michael Muhney was unknowing what was planned to happen to his career even though he had an open contract with Y&R. Now stop lying everybody and get some integrity. I am glad that I am not you.
