Days Of Our Lives
Freddie Smith and Guy Wilson Interview – Day of DAYS 2014
Days of our Lives stars Freddie Smith (Sonny) and Guy Wilson (Will) chat with Michael Fairman at Day of DAYS 2014! Freddie tells Michael he is feeling better, and thanks fans for their positive support after his recent car crash incident. Guy talks on Will’s temporary exit from the canvas where he left for Hollywood, and what he thinks of Will leaving Sonny for a career move, plus the departure of his on-screen mom, Alison Sweeney (Sami). Next, the duo talk the state of the union of WilSon and tease what’s ahead. Freddie reveals that what is about to come up has been the most fascinating, and has the most ups and downs, that he has ever played during his time on DAYS.
This interview doesn’t give me hope that Paul will be for Sonny. They will probably hook him out with Will. Will always have to drive the story. I just hope we get good Sonny scenes. Can’t have high expectation for Sonny.
I think Paul is for Sonny. Will probably has another guy that he meets in CA and that is the secret he comes home keeping. I think mystery man shows up in Salem later on and blows Will’s secret. My speculation of course.
And then Sonny sleeps with Paul.
i don’t want Paul with Sonny. I like Will and Sonny together.
I Think That Whatever Happens In The Next Few Months Will Be Different, Interesting, And Mysterious As Well As Unexpected, But I Still See Will And Sonny Becoming Closer As A Married Couple With More Things Going On In Their Life Together. I Do Hope That In April, The Writers Will Have Put Out An Episode Where Will And Sonny Celebrate Their First Anniversary As A Married Gay Couple
That Will Be Fun And Passionate And Romantic For Them And For The Fans.
Freddie and Guy have said they filmed the one year wedding anniversary show 🙂
We now know Paul is for Sonny.
Paul is Sonny’s selfish ex. I am sure about that.
I was thinking the same thing. I don’t think either will actually cheat but the temptation due to Will , like Guy said doing a half assed thing and leaving Sonny to go to Hollywood, will cause a few fights. They did say in an earlier interview they do celebrate their one year anniversary so eventually all will be good again between them. A little jealousy for Will won’t be bad. he tends to forget that he almost lost Sonny due to his not so smart moves.
Yes I think so too.
Here you are all wondering about Sonny, but is absolutely nobody worried about Freddie?!
Of course we are worried about Freddie. Only time will tell what happens next but I am hoping all goes well for him.
What makes you so sure Paul is Sonny’s ex?
They kissed today.
And DAYS is making Sonny the cheater? Great. First Will becomes detestaable and now Sonny too. Good going NBC! You got it all wrong. From gold to trash.
Is a soap. That is what happens. I have to see it to believe that Sonny cheats. Days was never interested in Sonny as anymore than Will’s handler. I think that Days has been treating WilSon as second class. No couple their age would be settle with baby, marriage and happy baby clothes folding life. Babies are used for drama for hetero couples. Heck, look at JJ and Paige. Even teenage hetero couples get adult soapy story. So I really hope this coming story brings it for WilSon finally. If not, I can happily wash my hands of the show for good.
I don’t think Sonny will cheat…maybe be flattered when/if someone flirts with him with Will being possibly being gone for so long and whatever trouble happens when he comes back but nahhhh Sonny won’t cheat, neither will Will…course just MY prediction.
Join us.
And I still don’t understand why you or anyone actually, never interviewed Freddie and Chandler together. I call foul.
You have to call foul on CM and his agent I guess. I’m pretty sure they were the reason FS and CM hardly did press together.
rumor has it that Chandlers people didn’t want them to interview together. I don’t know if that is true but it’s what is rumored to be true.
You know how rumors are……
It seems you should be happy that Freddie and Guy do joint interviews and appearances instead of being angry that Chandler and Freddie didn’t do much off set.
Maybe your anger is turning to sadness…a sadness at the realization that Chandler only played Will for a paycheck. HE AND/OR HIS HANDLERS (AGENTS OR WHAT HAVE YOU) FEARED THAT CHANDLER WOULD DEFINATELY BE VIEWED AS GAY AND NOT ABLE TO PLAY STRAIGHT ROLES IF HE WERE TO DO REGULAR PRESS WITH FREDDIE AND CONTINUE ON DAYS MUCH LONGER. And don’t be surprised to learn Chandler accepts an acting job really soon…a job as a straight character.
Days is not the only soap with gay characters. GH has with three gay characters, but you are right in the sense that their gay couple is not a more central focus. They could do better and feature them more, but they are there.
I’m so glad to hear that they will be appearing more onscreen. Ups and downs are fun to watch, but I truly hope that Will and Sonny are endgame in this scenario.
Will and Sonny are endgame. That has been obvious from the beginning. I hope they get shaking up big time though. Lets having cheating, misunderstanding and all kinds of soapy drama. I don’t watch soaps to see young couples fold baby clothes, talk about baby while dressing like Mr. Rogers and/or wearing the ugliest shirts I ever seen put on people. Lets do them justice Days and give FS and GW something interesting to work with and give us something interesting to watch.
They can be involved in a triangle.
Will can be torn between Sonny and an early released Gabi!
Will can be like that Dynasty dude (he was the Salem Strangler) that could not make up his mind!!!
I’m not sure if you are joking or not but um..no.
I’m only coming back to the show now. I left when this stupid show expected me to watch Gabi playing house with them. Will is gay. Why would he be into any woman. Did you miss the whole coming out story.
You truly are a sad person. The original Will & Sonny had charm, guts and beauty. All what the show and lame audience wants now is trash.
What a disgusting heterosexist nonsense that you are propagating here. Will is gay and it’s just an expression of the aggressive heteronormativity ruling our society that someone would want to turn him (at least) “half straight” again.
I don’t want cheating..flirting is ok but not cheating..but hey that is just me…lol
Had to reply here, LeeAnn (Rimes?)… I know she’s a DAYS fan.
I meant the writers brought Paul for Sonny. Yes, Paul’s surprised look could be that he had no idea Sonny lived in Salem or he may have been happy to not have to leave the hospital to see him.
Had to reply here.
I was serious. I liked the coming out story, but realize some people can’t be classified as gay or straight. There a differing grays.
In the beginning, Will was attracted to Mia and then Gabi. He had sex with Gabi and was not feeling it. That pushed him to confront his feelings for the same sex.
The second time Will was with Gabi was what resulted in her pregnancy with Ari…He tried to use her as a way to fight against his perceived notion that he was gay. It just proved Gabi was not the girl for him.
I’m not claiming Will is not attracted to men or that he doesn’t love Sonny. I’m claiming that one day he may also be into women, but not excluding Sonny/men.
Just because there was no love connection or even a substantial connection between he and Gabi back then doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be one in the future.
The world is full of a lot of grays and I’m not full of sh*t.
*There are differing grays.
Will didn’t come out as Bi. His realization was not omg I like men too. He came out as gay. It would make zero sense to turn his character back. Yes the world has Bi and Pan sexual people in it but Will is neither. He is GAY. Whatever though. I don’t really want to have this discussion. I find it sad that there is always some that want to see whatever one or two gay characters we have to turn back to woman.
I agree with Alex that there is no question about this, but if you want evidence that the show”s writers are clear on this: Will and Gabi had a discussion about exactly this a day or two after they slept together the second time. Gabi asked if he was reconsidering his sexuality and Will replied that if she meant was he bisexual, that no, he wasn’t. He was gay. And when he talked to EJ after he was revealed to be the baby’s father, he said that it was right after being with Gabi that he felt quite sure of who he was.
We could all have been wrong. Rafe is talking about Gabi to Marlena. This makes no sense unless they are bring that shit character back. Maybe Paul isn’t gay/bi and for her hence he will be in Will and Sonny’s sphere/”story”. Maybe Gabi lame release from jail is the unforeseen thing that brings Will back to Salem. Melanie is back and every hero needs their villain. WilSon won’t cheat each other just stupid misunderstanding and play second fiddle to Gabi’s story again. This would easily make me swear off this show for good.
Sorry for over reaction but I just don’t trust this show.
No, Paul came to Salem for Sonny. It’s turning into a Will, Sonny and Paul triangle unless there’s a fourth person which would be someone Will is seeing in L.A…A quadrangle.
I don’t think Paul knew Sonny was in Salem. He came for Daniel to do his surgery. You can tell he was very surprised when he saw Sonny in the hallway at the hospital.
at least all the wondering, questioning… what’s going to happen is about relationships
I can’t keep up at GH right now… i’m letting it play out
it crossed my mind as well… could Gabs be coming back? it would be serious retread… and geez! even Gabs could spark with Paul…..
that to me is the big question… who’s with who….
Pauls a keeper… if all this is generating in just a few days of his premiere
the first thing that comes to mind:
a young couple on the cusp of life
and yes…. albeit… a triumph….. Gabi and Arianna Grace
and YES, YES, YES….. one of… if not the most beautiful love stories…. reminiscent of the super couple charged DAYS of ole’
that’s a big thing… and it just so happens along with… keeping DAYS in the know… and sharing a whole segment of our every day lives that has blossomed… be it on screen and reality, ongoing steps up the ladder to equate sharing life with
happy that Will and Sonny continue to be
I’m still torn about Paul
should he be with : Sonny, Will, Theresa, Jordan, Abs, Anne
LOL
every one shares his spark
Christopher Sean : welcome to “Days of OUR Lives”
