GENERAL HOSPITAL: Britt's Birthing Showdown with Sabrina! Sonny Saved By His Sons! Maxie & Lulu Make Amends?

Courtesy/ABC
Monday’s episode of General Hospital featured a great script with snappy dialog, plenty of drama and antagonism and sarcasm, and left us with some big “Oh-Oh!” moments that will be the impetus for a big fallout story to come!
First and foremost, the unforgettable birth of Britt’s son as he entered in the world! And what was the set-up? Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) actually having to help her nemesis deliver the baby when Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) goes into labor during an argument with none other than Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) happens upon the scene and lends his support, since they can’t get a boat quick enough to take Britt to a hospital and out of the Compound de Cassadine!! But what followed was a hilarious turn where Britt hurled insults at Sabrina as the the OB/GYN turned out to be one horrific mother in labor! Even Sabrina, got in few jabs at the Britch! After the baby was born, wouldn’t you know? Britt realizes something is wrong with the baby! Just as Britt seemed like she was actually bonding with the bundle of joy! Any guesses, what could be wrong? We think we might know!
Elsewhere, Sonny (Maurice Benard) is on a downward spiral and wants to commit suicide as his depression sets in further and further over the loss of Connie ! When Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) arrives on the scene, Sonny admits his failure to protect those he loves, when he utters, “The truth is, I don’t protect spit!” As Sonny’s desire to end his life escalates, Olivia tells him that she is not going to make this easy for him, and he is going to have to shoot himself in front of her. Next, Sonny’s band of sons arrive! Michael (Chad Duell), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and Morgan (Bryan Craig) actually talk some sense into their father. Eventually, Sonny puts down the gun in some very intense moments.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) tries her best to make Lulu realize she is going to get professional help to deal with her “unhealthy” attachment to Dante and Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) “baby”. Maxie even has a heartfelt emotional wallop moment when she reveals to Lulu with double meaning, ” I would give anything. Give up anything for you.” Later, of all people, Brad (Parry Shen) overhears Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie’s conversation where the duo literally say and spell out that no one can ever know that they are the true biological parents of Lulu and Dante’s “baby”. Of note: Earlier in the episode, Brad was trying to tell something to Dante about Britt’s baby. Was he about to tell Dante that he is actually the biological father, since Brad does not want the responsibility of Britt’s baby, and charade now that Nikolas told him to man-up and take care of Britt and his “son”? Oh, the tangled web we weave.
This was a entertaining episode of General Hospital that was jam-packed with story, that makes you want to tune-in tomorrow, and that is what soap opera should be about …. shouldn’t they?
What was your favorite moment from yesterday’s episode of GH? Let us know in the comment section! And if you have not seen the episode, you can check out below!
Call me a traitor…but Britt has totally grown on me and I am LOVING the prospect of Brit and Nik!!! She’s still a Britch, but in a good way!
I like Brit too! I am liking her with Nik! The Dante/Lulu/Maxie part of the show is my favorite part of the show. It’s Kirsten Storms at her finest! I was a fan of Jen Lilley in the role, but then I didn’t watch before Jen took over. Storms however, has proven to me why GH took Storms back. Sure she was under contract, but Storms has been the top player on the show these days!
I agree about storm she really is a fine young actress and she s got me rooting for Maxie in this storyline.
It was so heart wrenching– those scenes with Lulu and Maxie—-and Brad wanting to talk to Dante seems to suggest what many have said the Britt used Dante’s sperm and/or Lulu/Dante fertilized egg. I know Sonny is bipolar, but just didn’t buy a man like him would be that grieved over Connie that he would want to end it all. But loved the scenes, well acted– a tad melodramatic, but effective. And like others here, the Britch is growing on me. She is like the Grinch, she may be a mean one, but inside there is a tiny heart just waiting to experience real love– and Prince Nik is just the one to it.
Could be part of the reason the Britch is having trouble bonding with her baby, I mean it happens sometimes.
yeah i mean that could be a reason but there is also post postpartum depression that can do that too
Hate to break it to you all but Britt’s Baby will be Lulu’s and Stavros’s….This will give the dante and lulu thing an out… and roll the entire cassadine and spencer deal again….. watch for the Legion of Doom to all be alive and well…. and Faison is not in no prison either…..
LOL….is this a joke?
Mark my words.. you will ser Stavros again .. he said he would come back…. These characters and many more have been held in Switzerland Clinic…… Just wait
LOL.
if this gets us more Stavros?
Robert Kelker-Keller?
Yum! hey… going with the herd… cows moo…
C’mon Stavros… show us MORE.
Hope you are right, Edward…your scenario sounds infinitely more interesting than the one we have been expecting now for months…..
Naw, I don’t think so. At least I HOPE not.
I’m a little behind, on last Thursday’s episode. The reason being, I just can’t watch Kristen Alderson anymore and I hate having to fast forward through an episode. I think this whole storyline between Michael, Lauren/Kiki, and nu-Morgan is beyond awful. No chemistry, whatsoever. Anyhoo, I always love Maurice Benard and Laura Wright, anytime they are on my screen. I like Britt. Love Nikolas. Think that Monica should “RAID” the Quartermaine mansion and get rid of the pesky non-Quartermaine’s that have inhabited the place!
Yeah, but I’m sooooooo tired of Laura Wright’s never ending screaming and yelling. She is intense in every single scene. She needs to simmer down.
Right on, Rosalynn!!! LW’s “Amazon with Attitude” Act is really wearing thin. It’s always the same thing with her….coming on like gangbusters!!!! Also, I’m really not looking forward to her forthcoming “frolic with Franco!” They just seem an odd pairing….I know the two actors sooo want to work together, but it simply doesn’t appeal to me. I’d rather see her with Derek: Given his thirst for vengeance against Carly’s ex, they could make a very explosive couple, and I am really not feeling the foreshadowed Alexis/Julian reunion….seeing NLG reduced to a giggling schoolgirl over this guy is moronic, and I truly do not see a mutual attraction between them…it’s all one-sided on her part. Honestly, he seems far more thrilled whenever he gets to hug his girl, “Sam,” although dare I say his reaction appears to be less than “paternal?” (Hey, all the guys on GH love to clinch KM….ever notice???? She has the ability to create a believable chemistry with whomever she is playing off at any given time….)
Yay! Monica bit the bullet and cleaned house…now all that remains is relocating the new Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos…and that is definitely coming!!! Really enjoyed LC’s scenes with Franco yesterday….RoHo is so droll and disrespectful in the most charming and hilarious way, like he still cannot help himself, even sans the brain tumor. (Loved his comments about “Alice,” toooo funny!) That being said, did anyone else think that Monica looked a bit worse for wear? Not being rude, but she seemed rather frail and her voice lacked its usual vigor, I truly hope the actress is not ill. Lastly, does anyone else think the mystery “lurker” is Heather???? They are setting it up to appear to be “Jason,” but it’s just a red herring…all the “subjects” being watched are those with whom the “BLT Queen” has a most unhealthy obsession…..
Britt and Nik…gh soontobe no.1 supercouple…Spin and Maxi…emmy winners next year…i tried to like Olivia but i wished Sonny shot her when he had the chance…Todd…oops, i mean Franco is improving…his hair looks better now it no longer looks clowinish…now we need Epiphany back at the hospital, Dr.O hiding out in secret room at Niks place, Monica involved in AJs storyline, Heather revealed as Connies killer(she managed to sneak out of mental hospital and return) and a good storyline for Mac, Felicia, Laura, Scotty, Lucy…and whoever i forgotten!
I also wanted Britts baby to really be Patricks…and Robins!!! Dr.O couldve pulled it off but what, knowing its a soap and crazy things can happen…Maxi really carried Dantes and Lulus child and Britt carried Spins and Maxies son? Or it really is Britts son and Dantes baby? So many exciting twist and turns here…love it!!!
One thing I definitely would have changed about the Britt “birthing scene” would have been to have Patrick deliver the child!!!! It would have been much more dramatic to have a devastated and disgusted Dr. Drake being forced to assist with the child’s dangerous entrance into the world, all the while knowing it was not his!!! Such a moment to behold, and it would have spared us the hokey heroics of “Sappy” as the one to “save the day” for “Baby Westbourne” only seconds after she upset the mother-to-be with her nasty histrionics. Still really wondering about the baby’s mysterious paternity, although it appears to be courtesy of Dante????
Who??
Which one will tell who Britts baby is?
Who will tell D&L that they are not the seeds of Maxie’s baby?
I think; Lulu and Dante will find out Brit gave birth to their baby and then after find out that Spin and Maxie are the parents of the baby they think is theirs …
love ALL the GH stories!!! ((wonder who))
thus far…
I really do… think…. that Maxie’ baby… does look like her. just like Spinelli intimated…
and.. Britts… looks like Lulu.
However… that being said… all for not?
I couldn’t believe.. that Spinelli and Maxie… “both” decided.. that it was best not to say anything…. ???? !!!!!
Maxie… as a new mother… and love for…. both baby and Spinelli… would have allowed this?
and… it still riles me… that Ellie and Britt… were lambasted and left in shambles… and/or taking the blame… for their character… I was a lil’ peeved at Spinelli and Patrick… for reading the riot act on some one else…
that being said…
this is a triumph for Maxie and Britt’ character… to real… reel… excellent show.
Maxie being kept from her baby is totally heartbreaking…it’s unbelievably mean and cruel to expect her to keep her distance from her daughter, and to have Spinelli subject her to this condition is completely out-of-character for him….at some point the truth needs to will out, no matter the consequences to the Falconeris…..I’m really past caring how this reveal is going to affect them, as it is almost unbearable to see that precious little girl being parented by Lulu and Dante when one look at her just screams “Maxinista Jr.!” I truly hope that this storyline is not dragged out for much longer…although one has to wonder how KS’s real life pregnancy will impact it…too funny the way she finally looks like she’s expecting now that she is no longer “with child” on the show. Me thinks that poor KS is going to get as big as a house….have you noticed even her lips have gotten fuller over the last few episodes???? Poor thing….
I know sonny going through hell now but if he really did love Connie why was he going after Olivia and Connie found out
heh men will be men .. lol
I don’t know that I like; how… “far gone”… Sonny, is going… with this.
yeah, I agree… if he was getting himself romantically, linked with Olivia.
and broke it off to be with Connie…?
I don’t see why Sonny is “over the edge”… because of Connie’ demise.
I don’t appreciate that GH went this route… seeing. as it was supposed to be a “big” sendoff for Kelly Sullivan.
and…. having his three sons show up… to “help” sonny from committing suicide.
it all seems too clear cut… like, no real suspense… and real reasons for Sonny to go this far.
like it was an avenue to send Maurice Benard this route… to show the audience… that sans the mob… he can, in fact… ethos, pathos, and logos…. mode it.
AND… it would seem to me…. this doesn’t bode well for believable… that Sonny and Olivia can look past this… and start again… that renewed pairing.
and… if I’m not jumping the gun… here… his not taking his meds… may be in fact… an avenue… that will trigger… long lasting, emotional story.
ie: I really did like the scene with Sonny and Morgan… when.. Morgan was in the bedroom with his father. Sonny was very believable there. then… he crushes up his bi-polar medication.
Just seems like Sonny is always jumping from woman to woman, his crushing scenes over Connie aren’t very convincing, especially since he had been making out with Olivia just days before Connie’s death.
loved Mary SFs comment about Britt. Makes me want to sing “your a mean one, dr. brinch….” when she is on screen. and yes, I too am a nick/britt fan.
i love britt now. she belongs with nik. they have chemistry. i want dr. o to sing again. dr. o is very entertaining. i will do a duet with dr. o. lol.
We are on the same page, Frank. All is right in the GH world when Dr. O. sings!!!!
And speaking of chemistry…Dante and the NEW Lulu have none. This re cast was all wrong.
i’ve said as much, as well….
nuLulu… needs to emote some serious emotions… outside of cutesy cutesy… Dante/Lulu.
this should have been the catalyst for nuLuLu… to trigger.
I actually liked the scene with Lulu and Maxie… when Maxie fessed up that it was the meds and the surgery… aftermath… that had her unglued…
Lulu… finally… showed some motherly instincts thereafter….
what.. with Dante… “busy” with the police force….
I too… hope… that the Maxie storyline… will give Dante and Lulu… some meaty material… that will come between the two in question… to muster up division… and marital bliss, cause mayhem. and see if these two can save themselves…
like… what? Laura is off to Europe for medical checkup? and Luke may be dying? come on Lulu…
Britt has grown on me, too. I would love a Britt-Nck-Elizabeth triangle, particularly when Nick funds out that Britt actually have birth to his sister’s baby. Very soapy!!
Gave, not have!!
Great show!!! Loving GH!!!
OMG! Wasn’t KT absolutely magnificent? Terrifying and hilarious at the same time….sheer brilliance!!!! Only wish dear “Grandmutter” had been lurking about at Wyndemere to help deliver little “Cesar!” That would have been perfection! Instead we got the formulaic “enemy aids her nemesis” storyline here, aka nosy Sabrina is conveniently there when the drama goes down. Her interference into the scene immensely lessened the Nik-Britt bonding moment , but that’s nothing new. To even have her self-righteous, rude busybody self boat over to the island and walk into someone else’s home to harass a pregnant woman just shows that she has no class whatsoever…I adored the fact that Britt gave as good as she got, though!!! (You go, Girl!) It really is time that “Sappy” is given her comeuppance, in that she acts as if she now owns both Patrick and his bratty kid…cannot wait for Robin to show up and change that, STAT! Hopefully, all that the obnoxious “Senorita Santiago” will end up with will be her Girl Scout badge for helping to birth a baby and her (seemingly) endless supply of tacky and immature “Gap Kids” garb….or is it “Old Navy???”
I have a feeling our mutually favorite ‘Grandmutter’ is hiding in Wyndemere and will eventually reveal herself!
Well, we can live in hope, jimh!!!! I have read that the multi-talented madwoman/mama (now grandmama!) is slated to return to GH very soon…..cannot wait! (Strike up the karaoke machine?????) ; )
I adored the fact that Britt gave as good as she got, though!!! (You go, Girl!) It really is time that “Sappy” is given her comeuppance, in that she acts as if she now owns both Patrick and his bratty kid…
LOL. Thank You… !
I love that “fans” of… are jumping on the bandwagon… that there is so much appeal going on with Nicholas and Britt.
I cannot believe… myself.. in such a short time span… how far… Nicholas and Britt.. have traversed… the natural ease and eye contact… with these two.. is electric…. Yikes! shiver me timbers…
anyway… save, ignoring… Sapp’ina… which Britt did eloquently…
I just loved yesterdays epi… when… Sabrina did save the day… if you will.. in taking her son to the hospital… without Nick and Britt…
I loved the ending scene with Nicholas picking Britt up and.. carrying her to the ferry to take her to the hospital…
and the bonding with her son commenced… with all the love and tenderness… a new mother should. I loved how Nicholas talked Britt through, the medical dialogue of how to save her son…
I was in tears… for Britt.
So true, Patrick! Definitely some goosebump moments there!!! Along with the Britt/Nick (and baby!) bonding, there have been some really touching scenes as of late….Sam and Silas, Anna and Maxie….these are the emotional touchstones traditional toGH that we have known and loved throughout the years….such a treat to have them back! And I can say the same for you….I’ve missed your well-versed and elegant musings!!!!
Grandmutter probably will kidnap the baby…also you r right…Patrick shouldve delivered the baby!
With Dr. O, you never know!!!! As long as she gets to hold the baby and sing to it, I will be happy!!!! Haha….
I had to pass on the last two days of this show. Tooo much pity party for Scummy Corintous who has almost killed his own kids numerous times. Can’t stand the mumbling and bull. Could he just do it,and let the bullet go through him into Olivia two birds with one stone GREAT ! I would have watched saying *just do it*. Shoot .Put us out of our misery.FrankenRon need to stop teasing us, Sonny dead? I read all the blogs and not one said Sonny was the one to watch. They all said he was a joke.I like Maxie and Britt.I just hope Britt is not in cahoots with her parents.
Sonny is a cornerstone of GH..
The Sonny scenes were very good, a side of Sonny that is interesting..
Sonny is being written differently than a thud gangster of the 80’s those days are gone and Barnard is an excellent actor; he acts what he is given..
I like this softer Sonny.. 🙂 His scenes were awesome!!
(wish he freak out and shoot Olivia) lol
Lol…we r on the same page here…i wished Sonny had shot Olivia when he had the chance!
thank you…
I TOO….
HOPE.. that Britt is not in cahoots… with….
this, is an amazing… find… to traverse …. the luscious being… that Britt… is. period.
to share… how… a person… human… a child of… can find “her” “self”.
and… with child… OK.. the child in question… just adds… layers to Britts character…
and… we have drama that serials deliver… with great aplomb… and head on… trigger that much emotion
Agreed….”The Sonny Show” is just the same old, same old cycle of soporific saga: See Sonny brood, see Sonny break things, see Sonny go off his meds, see Sonny wave his gun, see Sonny punch people, see Sonny scream…rinse and repeat!!!!
Meant “soporific soap saga”…hence, the “rinse and repeat” reference…
I have to give props for Brad…..
I love Brad.
he’s likable… in that he delivers… real…. reel…
just as good as… Alice and Epiphany….
that character trait… that actors revel in….
he’s a treat to know.
altho… I do not… like the weakness.. the writers… rote… in character assassination . that Brad… fall all over… Felix.
give me a break…. I’m tired of Felix cheerleading… Patrick and Sabrina… get a life.
Brad… LOL… love how he told Dante… he’s port charles.. hospital… LAB lead… etc…
and loved how Nicholas approached him… hands on shoulder… be a MAN.
too giddy for MORE
Still not a “Brad Booster,” but I could tolerate him more if he would become a bit redeemable and spill what he knows. That and less skeevy with Felix! Speaking of “Monsieur DuBois,” he seriously needs to get out of the “Sappy Zone” and mingle with a wider group of people in the hospital and PC community. He has a good heart and sassy wit, but with “Patrina” as his pet project he is just a boring busybody….either save him now or send him off!!!!
off topic, but is it possible that Jason is coming back? so many mentions of him lately and that usually means the character is returning. don’t know if a re-cast will work…need the original. what do you think?
loving the britt-birth and Maxie’s torment in giving up her baby…Kirsten can act her butt off
I think the “Jason” mentions are just to throw people off to the true identity of the “watcher” lurking around PC….my best guess is that it is actually Heather…she’s escaped the nuthouse AGAIN! It could also be “Cartini’s” inside joke against SB….he is a huge flop at Y&R, so maybe they are just putting the character’s name out there to torment him a bit….I cannot envision a recast taking at this point. The only way they could have maybe credibly pulled it off was to use Sean Kanan in the role, and it’s too late for that option, unless the ptb’s execute an extremely clever and creative way to achieve that feat. Too bad…I really believe SK could have managed it, but I am loving him as AJ, despite the fact his character has been unnecessarily abused. (A tad off subject, but doesn’t the actor have truly great hair???? Everytime I see him, I cannot help but notice….)
I hope Jason IS the one lurking around, a recast for him would be a monster mistake. He currently has a lame role in the Young and the Restless…he needs to go back to GH big time.
Ok I watched all BUT scummy, and his brain dead family. The scenes between Britt, Nick and Sabrina were great. I enjoyed them a lot,Did I say that about GH?? Did the writer who wrote the pity party also write the birth? How can someone with this talent also write this drivel? I even laughed at Maxie and Spin Total soap secret. Does anyone on a soap ever look around to see who is listening to what is going around behind them. I like Emme Ryland always have Loved her as Lizzie on GL and I do like her on this, I don’t want to see her pain when it comes out but .I will be cheering Dantes pain. he is disgusting .The worst cop EVER! Why is Spin acting so dense. Ellie is the evul ,but him and Maxie are the saints for giving away their baby???
Though I’m loving GH…I still think some major storylines are ridiculous:
Maxie loves Lulu MORE than her own baby??? (Apparently Lulu doesn’t reciprocate)
Lulu was ready to abandon Maxie, a best friend/woman who carried her baby, gave her and Dante the child they never thought they would have, went through nine months of pregnancy and all that goes with it, had a cesarean ,almost died in the process…BUT!…after all this Dante and Lulu have the audacity to “scold” Maxie and treat her like some maniacal stalker who is going to harm “their” child.
Ridiculous. In “real life”….or the way I would conduct my real life under those circumstamces, I would show and feel much concern for my best friend’s physical and mental health after what she just went through. If I did feel there was an over-the-top attachment to what I thought was my baby…I’d gently speak with my best friend and perhaps her doctors…until all was right again. I’d embrace my friend and show her compassion and understanding…and suggest that maybe she take some time to get back to herself…assure her I love her and that she’ll be a part of the baby’s life…but that now she needs to heal…
Instead? We get Dante and Lulu reprimanding and threatening Maxi in her hospital room…cold, harsh, unsympathetic.
Afer all this? Maxi doesn’t want to hurt Lulu and Dante??? Paleeeez. The bond between mother and child should override any feelings of guilt she may have, and their attitude toward her should have given her the final push to tell them the truth.
I don’t know how Maxi can feel the same love for her best friend after that display of ingratitude.
The same for Carly with Sonny. He threatened to KILL HER if Olivia died just a few weeks ago. Now I know he loves Olivia…and he was pissed at Carly…but threaten to kill the mother of your child…the woman you’ve had a tumultuous love story wtih for years? And what? Now all is forgiven and Carly’s still supportive of him? Would take a tad more to regain any trust, friendship or any type of warm, fuzzy feeling s after someone threatens to kill you…
Where is Felicia and Mac? I understand there are still budget constraints and as much as I loved seeing Anna with Maxi…realistically wouldn’t Mac and Felicia be with Maxi?
There’s a need to give more screen time to the vets they’ve brought back…but there should be a way to do it without sacrificing the family unity…the frienship bonds…that have always made soaps so wonderful. If you think about it every scene is empty of cast. Two at a time for the most part. The “halls” seem empty…
i think Britt’s baby is actually Dante and lulus baby she used there extra sperm and egg to get pregnant i think brad was trying to tell Dante that hes the father of the baby not him
Ever since Britt announced she was pregnant and Maxie lost Lulu and Dante’s baby, I have thought that Britt actually was carrying Dante and Lulu’s baby. Just makes since, she had access to the extra eggs in the lab. Plus Brad was shocked when confronted that he was the fathers baby…

Lifetime’s ‘Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas’ Brings Epic Food Fight and “Slapfest Coup de Grâce”

Get ready for the feuding soap opera divas, when five actresses known for their signature primetime and daytime roles are brought together in Lifetime’s new holiday film, Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas.
Saturday night, December 2nd on Lifetime (8pm ET/7PM CT) marks the highly-anticipated holiday movie premiere featuring: Donna Mills (ex-Knots Landing), Nicolette Sheridan (ex-Knots Landing), Morgan Fairchild (ex-Falcon Crest et al), Linda Gray (ex-Dallas) and Loni Anderson (ex-WKRP in Cincinnati).
Here’s what we do know! In story, five alums from the long-running soap, The Great Lakes reunite for a live Christmas finale. Uh-oh! Now take a look at the backstory of the colorful cast of characters (pay special attention to the clever twists on the actresses names!)

Photo: Lifetime
LAUREN EWING (Linda Gray) “Everyone thinks I’m so damn good all the time,” confesses the junk food-loving Lauren of her second act as a lifestyle guru. “I don’t know how Gwenyth Paltrow does it!”
DANA CUNNINGHAM (Donna Mills) Now a sitcom mom, she’s yet to make amends to ex-bestie Juliette after abruptly leaving the soap back in the day. Not that she hasn’t tried: “When I thought the world was going to end in Y2K,” Dana says, “I reached out to her, and she never called me back.”
LILY MARLOWE (Loni Anderson) After replacing Dana on ‘Great Lakes’, Lily never again found a role to win her acclaim. “What do I have to show for (my career)? An arc on For the People – Shonda Rhimes’ only flop!”
JULIETTE MATHESON (Nicollette Sheridan) “She left me for L.A.,” the party girl turned fashion mogul recalls of Dana’s betrayal. Will their feud derail the entire event?
MARGEAUX ROBERTS (Morgan Fairchild) “Fasten your face-lifts, ladies, it’s gonna be a bumpy weekend!” The sassy grande dame of ‘Great Lakes’ sees the Juliette-Dana beef as the perfect escape from her own domestic drama.

Photo: Lifetime
Now, making this all the more hysterical is the director of The Great Lakes reunion special, which makes the five women live under the same roof, is its former child star Alex, who has gotten his ex-girlfriend, Nell to direct the finale. Meanwhile, in the subplot. the ‘Ladies of the ’80s’ come up with a plan to get Alex and Nell back together.
As with any good soap opera, there is a major food fight. Linda Gray shared with USA Today ,”The food fight was one take. And it was fabulous.” And of course, their is a bitch-fest slap-fest. Morgan Fairchild revealed, “Oh honey, we all got ours in. Mine was a simple, ‘How dare you?’ with a slap. But I was hoping for a punch.”

Photo: Lauren Dukoff/Lifetime
The movie’s EP, Larry Thompson, who is a Hollywood manager and has Donna Mills as a client, said that the entire scene peaks with the”slapfest coup de grâce.” What is that exactly? That is when Donna Mills pushes Nicollette Sheridan into a pool in a nod to Dynasty’s Lily bond battle between Dynasty’s Alexis (Joan Collins) and Krystle (Linda Evans).
In case you missed it previously, check out the trailer for Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas below, also starring Patrika Darbo, Alec Mapa, Mills real-life daughter, Chloe Mills, and Christopher Atkins with theme song by Tiffany.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ava Receives a Haunting Letter About Austin’s Murder

On Thursday’s November 30th episode of General Hospital, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is on the case of who shot Austin (Roger Howarth) and pays a visit to Ava Jerome (Maura West) at Wyndemere.
Dante asks Ava when was the last time she saw Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt. She asks why and what is going on with Austin? Dante tells her he’s dead, and assumes she must already know, especially given her non-reaction to the news.
Ava tells Dante she was last with Austin two days ago at her gallery. When he questions her if security footage can back that up, that would then give her an alibi. However, Ava explains she left out the back, and that the surveillance camera has not been working. Since the murder happened in Pautauk, Dante tells Ava they will want to question her.

She responds that a lot of people in town knew Austin from Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and on. However, Dante points out that Ava was the only one that was kidnapped by Mason (Nathanyael Grey). Ava says she will have her lawyer ready.
As Dante exits, Ava looks through her unopened mail. She finds a letter addressed to her and it says inside on note paper, “You’re welcome.” But that’s not all, inside the letter is a polaroid of Austin’s dead body.

Also in story, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) has a meltdown when she has to start the finding a surrogate process all over again, and is found crying on a park bench by her sister, Kristina (Kate Mansi). Will this be the conversation where Molly will take up Kristina on her initial offer to carry the child for her and TJ (Tahj Bellow)?

In another key moment, James thinks Cody (Josh Kelly) would make a great big brother, which then gets Felicia (Kristina Wagner) flashing back to when Cody told Mac that it turns out Mac is not his bio-dad. Felicia senses something is not right. Is she finally on to the fact that Cody lied to Mac? Stay tuned.

So, who do you think sent the letter to Ava about killing Austin? Is it Nikolas? Cyrus? Mason? Could it be Ava herself, who doesn’t remember she did the deed, or could it be someone else? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

General Hospital Pays Tribute to Tyler Christopher at End of Episode, ABC Exec Nathan Varni Shares: “You’ll Always Be In Our Hearts”

If you caught the end of the Monday, November 27th Thanksgiving episode of General Hospital, the ABC daytime drama ended the show with a special dedication to Tyler Christopher (ex-Nikolas Cassadine), who passed away on October 31st at the age of 50.
With a very touching title card, and a photo of Tyler from his younger days as the dark prince of the Cassadine clan, it read, “In Loving Memory of Tyler Christopher.”
On Tuesday, November 28th, ABC Current Series executive, Nathan Varni, who oversees Grey’s Anatomy, The Conners, Station 19 and General Hospital for the network, shared on X some additional thoughts on Tyler’s contributions to the GH family.
