GENERAL HOSPITAL: Felicia, Robert & Holly’s Masterplan Revealed Featuring Heart-Tugging Moments from Tristan Rogers & Emma Samms
Wednesday’s General Hospital began where the previous episode left off, with an on-fire, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), literally! As the action picks up, Robert (Tristan Rogers) covers Holly with blankets to try and douse the flames. The paramedics announce Holly has suffered second-degree burns over 75% of her body.
When the ambulance takes off, Robert goes with it. Meanwhile, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Mac (John J. York) are looking for evidence from the cabin fire … and wonder where the necklace has gone?

Later, the ambulance pulls over to the side of the road, and one of the drivers is none other than paramedic Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner)! Felicia reveals herself as does Holly, who is perfectly fine, and Robert, who was in on the entire ruse to get Holly safely out of the country and away from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Viewers learn in flashbacks how this trio worked together to pull this off: Felicia showed up at the cabin with fire retardant clothes for Holly to wear and revealed how she planned to set the stove to start the fire. We then learn that Holly and Robert staged Robert’s drugging and mugging, in order for Holly to steal the necklace and leave it inside the cabin for the PCPD to find. It was Holly’s plan to ensure that Victor would have no further use for her.
Next, Robert gives Holly the keys to a car that can’t be traced; as she is to drive to Canada with a new ID and completely disappear. Felicia adds that records will show that Holly was taken to a burn facility halfway around the world, freeing her to find out just where Victor is holding her beloved son, Ethan.

Holly has a surprise in store for Victor on her departure! In a flashback, Holly meets up with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) on the pier and gifts her with one of the jewels from the necklace in exchange for poisoning Victor for her. Holly tells Selina she won’t find her son alive and well if Victor is dead, and assures Selina the poison will not kill Victor, but will be payback.
As the episode comes to a conclusion, and if you are a longtime fan of GH, you probably reached for the hankies in touching and beautifully-played moments between Tristan Rogers and Emma Samms.

In the story, Holly apologizes to Robert for all the trouble she has caused, but the two share a passionate kiss before they say their final goodbyes. BUT .. you didn’t think Holly would try to get away without one last scheme? She had the necklace in her pocket the whole time, begging the question … was she going to take it with her? However, Robert knew Holly had the necklace and asks her to hand it over to him, which she does.
For her final moments, Holly walks off into the fog, which could only signify that this guest star turn for Emma Samms has come to its conclusion.
So, what did you think about the twists on today’s episode? Did you think Robert, Felicia and Holly were in cahoots? What did you think of the final scenes between Tristan Rogers and Emma Samms? Comment below.
I had read that Emma Sam’s would be doing only a short run but the conclusion was a real surprise. Hopefully the stuff Holly gave Selena Woo incapacitates him for a while. I’m so sick of seeing his evil face every day. I think I could tolerate Peter better.
Oh Violet -how quickly we forget! The Peter Problem was far worse than Victor. Charles Shaughnessy at least has a charm factor that the unmentionable one never had.
As for the Holly storyline wrap up – kudos to the writers who SHOWED us the details and didn’t just tell. Based on the Q Thanksgiving timing, the show is likely still airing 2 days behind (due to recent preemptions). This means the explosion and “Holly on fire” episode was supposed to air the day before Thanksgiving with the reveal on this past Monday – giving the audience a long weekend to wonder what really happened.
Was it seamlessly great, no, but overall the show made good use of the time Emma was so gracious to give them. Perhaps we’ll see her sometime next year for the 60th anniversary.
OG Steve,
I do like Charles but can’t stand his character, as played he thinks he’s God and not just evil but moves all these people around like he’s playing Chess. Now he’s taken the gift Cyrus gave Spencer for Trina, wonder what plans he has for that?
Aside, we finally know who spawned Esme, poor girl, didn’t have a chance in life and poor grandchild, if it makes it. Liz has sure got herself involved in a mess helping her and Nick with all the deception.
What a geological line for little “Ace”:
Great grandparents: Mikkos & Helena
Grandparents: Ryan, Heather & Stavros
Mother: Esme
Overall, I guess I’m okay with Heather as Esme’s mother (better than the initial plan of Felicia). Just weird that Heather has two sons in their 50s and 20 year old Esme. Not bad for a woman who had a hysterectomy after Steven Lars!
Well…at least his other grandmother is sane and mentally healthy…apart from those few years where she was a blonde wig propped up on top of a rocking chair at Shady Brook Mental Hospital.
OG Steve,
Yes, very interesting and stranger yet is Heather doesn’t act any crazier than anyone else!
The moments before Holly left the fire scene were truly touching.I loved watching them kiss and it was bittersweet seeing her disappear in the fog like Laura and Luke did. I’m sorry to say I doubt they’ll get back together. Emma lives in England, and I doubt she’d be able to settle in to a day -to- day relationship on GH again. Plus Tristan Rogers doesn’t seem to be very keen on the idea. They had plenty of drama dating and breaking up in real life.
Great storyline! Finally – Holly was in character! And both Tristan and Emma brought their A game! As a long time Robert and Holly fan, I was happy. Kudos to everyone.
I have been watching GH for over 40 years. As a long time fan, yesterday’s episode was EPIC.
NOBODY in daytime television plays “Agnst” better than Emma Sam’s.
Back in the day when Luke met Holly in the woods… she had twisted her ankle. Luke was out finding himself … wanting to die, as he had thought he lost the love of his life, Laura.
Holly and Luke fell in love.
Then, when everyone thought Luke had died… Holly moved in with Robert.
Slowly, Holly and Robert fell in love.
Then Luke came back… Holly bolted and the saga continued.
Holly loved Luke like the way Robert loved Holly. She was always elusive.
There was always something stirring behind her mannerisms… until all was revealed and various truths came out.
Emma Sam’s always played Holly with somewhat of a sneaky, sinister spy kind of patina on the outside. Until you would learn the intricacy of WHY she was doing what she did. Everything was about protecting something or someone that SHE loved and would move mountains for.
Those scenes with Tristian Rogers were priceless. Both when she revealed to him the truth about shooting Lucy and WHY she did it after seeing her sister shot in cold blood by Victor… with her son’s (Luke’s Son) life on the line.
Emma Sam’s was outstanding bringing back the nuances of the character of Holly and her interaction with the “old timers” of GH glory days.
It was perfect as she kissed Robert passionately and then walked off into the mist to save her son with Luke from Victor’s clutches.
Simply outstanding and true to Holly… wanting more to be revealed… and the ache that Robert has because tho she loves him “dearly” Luke was her guy.
Some of the old GH magic played out with the return of Emma Sam’s. I hope she comes back again.
N.W…For some reason I missed the Holly/Luke/Robert story from earlier days. So I really enjoyed your recap of it.
Except it’s a bit off. Holly wasn’t pining for Luke particularly after Laura returned from captivity (presumed dead).
Viewers were lead to believe Holly was unable to carry a child (after she miscarried after becoming pregnant by Luke – after he was presumed dead).
It was Anthony Geary’s insistence that Ethan be made Luke’s that altered the story a bit. Luke was said to cheat on Laura conceiving Ethan with a fertile Holly.
As they discussed Robert & Holly’s timing always seems off….
First – Holly “dies” in an Australian plane crash. Robert finds love with Cheryl Stansbury, Katherine Delafield and eventually Anna again.
Second – Holly comes back to PC revealing she was kept away by her evil family. At this point Robert & Anna had remarried. Shortly after, Robert, Anna and Faison are presumed dead in a boat explosion. After an attempted pairing with Luke’s lookalike cousin, Holly departs PC.
Third – Robert is revealed to be alive during the encephalitis epidemic that claimed the life of Tony, Courtney and “Cook”. Holly returns and is somehow the mastermind of the plot annoying longtime viewers. Both leave town separately.
There’s probably more – but this post is long enough. Main point – Robert & Holly definitely over Luke & Holly.
OG Steve…Oh my gosh…based on your update looks like we can expect more. I’m still for Robert and Anna, but it wouldn’t surprise me If Holly comes back into the story.
I felt no heart-tugging whatsoever—-so glad Samms is gone. Nonetheless , it seems she was popular back in the day? I hope she was more inspiring, as a character and an actress, as she has been for me.
Gotta say I’ve been loving the last couple of weeks of GH! It’s wonderful to see Tristan Rogers, Emma Samms, Kristina Wagner, Genie Francis and John York front-and-center on a big storyline, and each of these vets have delivered the goods. Soaps are and always shall be a youth-centered industry, but it’s nice to give some veteran players something substantial to do to remind us of the talent that made them veterans! Kudos to the writers and the actors who really delivered on this story … and are continuing to do so.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Britt and Rocco Say Their Goodbyes, Then She Gets Arrested; Anna Reveals “Nathan West” is an Imposter

On the Friday, June 26 episode of General Hospital, emotional moments, a new duo on the run, the end of the line for Britt and an eye-opening moment between Anna and Felicia were the order of the day. Let’s take a look at what went down, but first let’s give a round of applause for Kelly Thiebaud (Britt) and Finn Carr (Rocco) on their goodbye scenes.
In the story, Rocco insists to his parents, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Alexa Havins) that he wouldn’t leave Tortola without Britt. Dante is getting impatient because Britt brought all the trouble in recent months to his son. They need to protect him and they can’t if he stays with Britt. Lulu tells Britt she is the only one who can do the right thing, right now.
Britt explained it is too dangerous for Rocco to stay with her. She was very selfish and made a lot of terrible decisions along the way and Cullum is tracking her down because she did not finish the project he enlisted her for. She convinces Rocco to go with his parents and gives him a little token of something that reminded her of when he was a baby which is a bottle to blow bubbles with.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
Rocco makes Britt promise to take her medication to ward off her Huntington’s disease symptoms and to keep changing locations so she is not caught. The two share a final hug as both are in tears. Dante makes a call. While in the car ready to leave Britt behind, Rocco says he will never forgive himself is something happened to Britt.
Back inside, Britt is ready to inject herself with her medication but is unaware that Cullum has now tainted it with poison! But she is saved from that, when two police officers burst through the door to arrest her for kidnapping charges! Did Dante call the local police? Is he doing this to keep her safe or to pay her back?
In Port Charles, Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) arrives at Crimson, completely unaware that the man in the elevator is following her. Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Charlotte have an argument about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Suddenly, Willow calls her mother that she is being questioned by the PCPD, and Nina learns, it is as a suspect for being the other driver that left Jordan and Curtis injured by the side of the road on Route 91.
ARRIVALS AND DESTINATIONS IN QUESTION
Chase (Josh Swickard) comes to Willow’s rescue much to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Justine’s (Nazneen Contractor) chagrin. Willow learns Lucy and Drew are the supposed witnesses against her. Chase figures out when Joe (Jonathan Bennett) was alone with Drew, he got him to blink in a way that implicated her. However, in a shocking moment, Justine reveals that the trip log from Willow’s BMW SUV placed her at the scene of the accident just second before it occurred.
Meanwhile, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) comes by Crimson to see Charlotte. He says he broke into the WSB office to get info to expose Cullum as a double agent. Charlotte blows a gasket! She can’t believe that he would do something so stupid that it could have gotten him killed. She firmly tells Danny that best thing he can do to help Jason is to stay out of things. Danny storms out, but notices the stranger in the elevator who now steps into the Crimson lobby.

The man tells Charlotte he is Agent Mark McKay with the WSB and he has orders to bring her in. When she resisted, he was about to chloroform her, when Danny knocked him out and took off with Charlotte.
ANNA PUTS HER TRUST IN FELICIA
In France, after having some private time with Emma (Braedyn Bruner), Anna (Finola Hughes) wants to talk to Felicia (Kristina Wagner). She tells her best friend she was trying to figure out what memories of her past with Faison, she could trust and not trust. Since Felicia knows her best she is hoping she can believe what she is about to tell her.
It is then that Anna says, “Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is not who he says he is.” Felicia looks dumb-founded. Will she believe her friend … or think she has drummed this all up in her mind? Stay tuned.
So, what did you think about the goodbye scenes featuring Finn Carr and Kelly Thiebaud? Did you reach for the hankies? Do you believe that soon, Cassius will be caught for his duplicity and the truth about Britt’s “illness” will come to light? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below. But first check out the scenes featuring Anna on her road to recovery in France

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Drops First Single EDM/Dance Track ‘If You Need Me’

Last weekend, we shared the news that General Hospital alum and Daytime Emmy winner, Chad Duell (ex-Michael Corinthos) was releasing his first single today on June 26th and it has indeed dropped! And for those readers who guessed that Duell’s first track out of the gate was going to be an EDM/Dance/House track … you are correct, sir!
The song entitled, “If You Need Me” is perfect for the late night clubs and can be found on Spotify and other major streaming platforms! Duell is noted as the performing artist, but as the composer/ lyricist and the beatmaker of the track. For his music projects, Chad is going solely by the name of “Duelly” which has been his social media handle for years.
Taking to his Instagram on Friday, Duell explained his deep dive into making music, expressing, “I’ve wanted to make music for a long time… I just never did it. It always felt like this huge, overwhelming thing to learn. All the technical side of it, the programs, everything that goes into actually building a track… it was easy to keep pushing it off. A couple months ago I finally just decided to go for it.”

BIT BY BIT PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Chad added, “Since then I’ve been putting in a lot of time learning, experimenting, figuring things out, and slowly starting to find a sound I’m really proud of. This first release is more of a dance/EDM vibe, but I’ve also been working on a lot of different styles behind the scenes that I’m just as excited about. At some point I realized I could keep holding onto everything trying to make it perfect… or I could just start putting music out and grow as I go.”
Stepping out of his own way, Duell firmly says, “So that’s what I’m doing. My first track “If You Need Me” is out now. More coming soon… this is just the beginning.”
As GH viewers know, Chad made the decision to step away from General Hospital after a 15-year run with the series where his last episode aired in January of 2025. By May of last year, the role was recast with Rory Gibson debuting in the part.
Give a listen below to Duelly’s “If You Need Me,” and let us know what you thought of it via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: What Did You Think of the Return of Anna Devane, and What’s In the Letter?

Finola Hughes made her dramatic return on-screen on the Wednesday, June 24 episode of General Hospital. Viewers will see Finola as Anna Devane again on tomorrow’s June 26th episode.
In the story, while in the French mental health facility, Anna has a session with Dr. Laurent. She tell her she now knows she was never kidnapped and that Cesar Faison is dead.
As she continued with her ruse, she went on to say she understands she was enlisted back into the WSB on a secret mission, and through that she relived all the trauma she endured by Faison, which caused her to have a psychotic break. Anna promises Dr. Laurent that her treatment plan had helped her so much in figuring out what was real, and what was in her imagination.

Courtesy/ABC
ANNA’S GOT HER OWN PLAN TO ESCAPE
In a smart move (hopefully) Anna told Laurent if she could talk to someone else who had known Faison that it might aid in her recover. She was given the phone and she called Felicia (Kristina Wagner), who agreed to fly to France in the morning. Dr. Laurent claims she is pleased with Anna’s progress, but that they still have a very long long way to go.
Now by herself, Anna pulled out a packet of letters from a bedside table. There is one in particular that she is fixated on. What does it contain? Is this all a part of her escape plan? Will she warn Felicia that “Nathan” is really Cassius (Ryan Paevey)? If so, will Felicia even believe her?
In a summer preview with Soap Opera Digest, GH co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten shared, “We’ll see echoes of Anna’s earliest incarnation as she returns to Port Charles with deadly intentions.”
So, were you happy to see Anna Devane back on your screens? What do you think is in the particular letter she was staring at? Will Felicia help Anna escape or not believe a word she says? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, you can check out some of the scenes from Anna’s on-screen return below.
