GENERAL HOSPITAL Promo: Nina is About to Confess to Willow; Jason and Sasha are Called-Out by Cody
Loose lips Cody Bell (who has all the facts wrong anyway), once again is confrontational on this week’s promo for General Hospital and the action coming up in Port Charles on all-new episodes.
For the week of February 10, look for Cody (Josh Kelly) to become enraged at the sight of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), while he and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) were joining Felicia (Kristina Wagner) for something to eat. When Jason arrives on the scene, Cody blurts out, “Come on, slime ball, say it! Sasha’s baby is yours!” While Jason just looks at Sasha (probably realizing this is the tale he will help Sasha spin moving forward), she throws a drink in Cody’s face.
Meanwhile, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is at the same restaurant having something to eat with her daughter, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and in the conversation says, “I can understand why you would fall for Drew” After Willow looks at her she starts to say, Because, Willow I …” and we fade to black. Is this a red-herring? Will Nina finally tell her daughter that she was having sex with Drew for months? And if she does, will this even dissuade her for breaking up with Drew (Cameron Mathison) or actually fall on deaf ears, because Willow is so enamored with Drew?

Jason has even more problems to content with when he enters Charlie’s and he shouts, “Get your hands off my son!” Has Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) gone lone wolf to try to take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) after Rocco (Finn Carr) revealed that the police think Cyrus is behind Sam’s death? We also hear the voice of Rocco copping to, “I think I did something I shouldn’t have!” This is an obvious reference to Rocco telling Danny the intel on the police investigation that he overheard when Chase (Josh Swickard) and his father, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) were having a private investigation.

So, do you think Nina will finally confess to Willow she was having sex with Drew? Are you thumbs up or thumbs down for Jason about to step in and pretend to be Sasha’s baby daddy? Share your thoughts in the comment section and check out this week’s GH promo below.
Boring-ass promo… we deserve better than this drivel on a weekly basis.
Thumbs down. I don’t like how Cody and Drew are making Jason look. Jason is so much better than either of them.
Cody is behaving like a little bitch acting like he didn’t hear a word Sasha said. Sasha is a sweetheart
Jason is not the father.
Two reasons why it absolutely sucks dragonass if Jason pretends to be Sasha’s baby daddy:
First, he’s done it before. Twice. He pretended to be Michael’s father when he was a baby, and became Michael’s only parent for a while by default, when Carly dropped off the planet for several months, with a severe case of “post partum depression”.
And then of course when Sam was pregnant with Sonny’s baby, but that relationship didn’t work out. Sonny asked Jason to take care of Sam, and he did, though the baby sadly didn’t make it.
And the second reason – let’s face it – is that these writers are DESPERATE to legitimize this sick “relationshit” (that’s not a typo) between Hallmark Drew and his nephew’s wife, Willow.
So if most of Port Charles believes that Jason knocked up one of Mikey’s old girlfriends, then how can they condemn Drew for doing the same thing, right?
I suppose we can hope that Jason doesn’t go along with this ridiculous plan. Or that he at least tells his son Danny that it’s not true, and maybe the unseen Monica. He doesn’t really owe Tracy an explanation, and Cody’s probably lucky he hasn’t got his ass kicked yet, the way he’s been blabbing this rumor all over town.
At least with Carly and Sam there were plausible reasons for Jason to claim fatherhood. With Carly – both of them were very young she was immature and he was just getting adjusted from his life changing accident.
With Sam, there was the whole Sonny’s enemy thing.
All Sasha has to say to Dudley Do-Wrong (Cody) and others is that Jason is not the daddy and not mention Michael.
What’s hard to believe is that Carly wouldn’t call Jason immediately once she heard the rumor from Drew.
I wish they pur Cody and Drew on an island and let them destroy each other. What purpose does Cody serve? He is his own worse enemy. It kind of reminds me of how Scott Baldwin reacted years ago when he learned about the affair between Laura and Luke and set out to destroy everything in his path. The difference is we cared about Scotty. Can we really say that about Cody?
They need to show more scenes of Cody bonding with Mac. More interactions with Tracy would also make Cody likable. Heck, even commiserating with Brad is preferable than seeing him as a busybody.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
