ABC’s General Hospital has dropped their weekly promo for episodes airing October 21-25th. In it, several storylines look to be driving the drama; chief among them that Sam (Kelly Monaco) sits down with Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) and let’s them know she is the donor match for Lulu and is heading to surgery imminently to save her. How will the father’s of her children react? What will be said between the parents and former lovers?

Meanwhile, Portia (Brook Kerr) seems to either be having a moment where she admits switching the test results to keep Heather Webber locked up to a room full of friends and patrons at The Savoy, or  losing her grip. What will go down when she pipes up and says, “Come on everyone, listen. We have some news about Heather Webber.”

Elsewhere, Holly (Emma Samms) is in the hot seat for her latest bombshell that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is her child with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), while a disbelieving and upset Sasha wants to prove otherwise. In a discussion with Maxie (Kirsten Storms), she says, “There is no chance my mother is telling the truth about Robert Scorpio.” Knowing that if it’s true and she and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are truly cousins, it would spell the end of their romance.

At the conclusion of the promo, Sam is now being prepped for surgery and later Laura (Genie Francis), Rocco (Finn Carr), Scout (Cosette Abinante), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), Jason, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) await news of how the procedure went. You can catch the promo below.

Now weigh-in, will you need the hankies when Sam talks to Jason and Drew about Danny and Scout and taking care of them while she is recovering or if something were to happen to her? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

Condolences to all regular viewers I would be screaming if I was watching just mad reading about it all these past cast members coming back now new cast members . Something is going on it has a strong smell of something not sure what but if you are trying to introduce a new Lulu this is definitely not the way to do it . I would love to know what Kelly did to warrant this . Hmmmm

Agree, We NEVER missed LuLu. We will, definitely, miss Sam. No one needs Natalia . Sam and Finn would have been an amazing duo !!.All of these new actors are ridiculous. One by one they are destroying our connections to the soap. Just when you think that it can’t get worse, it does.

I bet alot of people watching haven’t been watch for 40+ years!!! Don’t even know the history of the show!! Terrible writers!!!

I am a FAITHFUL watcher, since I was 10. So for more than 48yrs. These are the worst storylines ever I mean ever in history maybe it’ll all be a dream and everybody will be back I know they do do that stuff

Yes they are.I’ve been watching since 1978 and this is the worse I have ever seen on this . Im furious what they are doing.

To be fair, there have been far worse stories.

Pretty much the whole stretch of the early 1990s, between the time that Robert & Anna got blown up on a boat and the return of Luke and Laura was unwatchable. The Eckerts. Casey the Alien. That “Taub” guy who was in business with Brenda’s dad and Faison.

95% of the ReRon written stories from February 2012, up until the awful Luke “exit” story ( which got him fired) in 2015.

Temporary head writer Garin Wolf’s character assassination against the entire Spencer family in late 2011

And that whole miserable period between November 2021 – March 2024 when General Hosptial was preempted for the Church of Parasite Nina Praise and Worship Hour.

As confusing and disjointed as the current storylines are – especially the Holly & Sasha stuff, as well as throwing Sam under the bus – it still beats the unholy Hell out of any of the above.

I’ve been watching longer ! Get a Life it’s a Soap Opera SMH

Totally Agree So many people love general I hope it doesn’t come to an End

I REALLY FEEL IT’S BAD WRITING TO TAKE OFF ONE OF YOUR IMPORTANT CHARACTERS, I WILL PROBABLY WATCH IT LESS NOW. I THINK BEFORE THEY WRITE OUT MAIN CHARACTERS THEY SHOULD TAKE A POLL FROM THE VIEWERS. TAKE OUT MOLLY INSTEAD SHE DON’T HAVE ANY CHILDREN TO LEAVE BEHIND TO RAISE OR TAKE OUT HEATHER WEBER NOBODY WANTS TO SEE HER AND I CAN GO ON BUT NOT SAM PLEASE RETHINK IT.

Please

Agree!

Wish Finn and Sam would have been a couple. Wish they would both end up in Genoa City !!

I could not stop crying through almost the whole episode. So many characters coming and going and now they’re tearing up the Davis girls. We all like the Davis girls Can’t they just write Samm off the show in case they ever want her or she wants to come back?

Please DO NOT!!!! attack Alexa, she has nothing to do with what’s occuring.

Kelly has said herself numerous times she will address all when the time is right.

Wow GH now Violet is leaving too? and she didn’t even say bye to her aunt Elizabeth, little Violet was one of the best young actor on the show, this sucks, so now Finn is gone, Gregory, Violet, Sam, Valentine, they’re making characters kissing cousins, Sonny is a cold blooded killer, Kristina is the biggest child on the show, OMG these writers are really bad, is freaking RON C back? what’s happening here?

I have been watching since April of 1963 and these writers relying to rewrite history is annoying!

I loved this show once, but you can’t call yourself a family while treating Kelly the way they’ve been. Her dismissal has been nothing short of cruel and callous. The GH of today is not how I remember it. RIP Sam and RIP to my loyalty as a GH viewer. Frank Valentini and Nathan Varni have turned me away for good. #noKellynoGH #IStandWithKelly

I’m going say this once, Idc what KeMo did or said to get fired. Her fanbase has been a holy terror on the ABC msg boards, FB, & now twitter for too long. She ignored it & let it take place under her nose.
Ppl were sending death threats to Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) & Steve Burton (Jason) many times over the yrs. KeMo was silent the whole time.
Not once has KeMo spoken out positively for another cast member, except Billy M… So that karma has revisited her now. I won’t miss the character of Sam. KeMo should be thankful she had 20 yr run, b/c very few women get that much time to develop a character.
With all due respect to her fans, if y’all had more dignity & grace for the other actors in the cast, maybe more ppl would’ve sided w/y’all. But y’all literally made a mockery of attempts to keep Genie & Rebecca on GH. So you reap what you sow. I’m going to enjoy KeMo’s last scenes.

Watched when it was Jesse and Phil Brewer

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Published

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
