GENERAL HOSPITAL: Carly and Valentin Hit the Sheets
The March 6 episode of General Hospital brought plenty of drama and set a few stories spinning into another axis. First and foremost, Carly (Laura Wright) is reeling from her blow-out conversation with Josslyn (Eden McCoy), where she learned that the reason her daughter is staying a WSB agent by her own choice is to take down Sonny (Maurice Benard) and those like him.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is there in Carly’s kitchen and tells her, he is more concerned that Josslyn will turn them in. He is not convinced she wouldn’t do it, as much as Carly says she knows he’s in danger. In a moment of realization, Carly doesn’t even know who her daughter is anymore. Valentin says she didn’t know her daughter as well as she thought, since Josslyn had lied to her face for over a year.
Carly blames herself. Valentin says this is all Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) doing. Carly says it’s bigger than that, and tells Valentin Josslyn’s plan to bring down Sonny. As Carly cries, she admits when she looked at Josslyn tonight, she saw herself when she first came to town, determined to destroy her mother, Bobbie Spencer’s, life.

Noting how working for the WSB had affected Valentin, Anna and Jack, Carly doesn’t want the same thing to happen to her daughter. Valentin says Josslyn will be fine, because she has a mom like her, and even the WSB can’t destroy her.
CAN’T FIGHT THE FEELING
Carly wants Valentin to run and save himself, but he refuses to leave her. Valentin says what may have started out as using her, is not the same. “We are real partners now, and I’m not leaving you,” a passionate Valentin says . Suddenly, Carly kisses him, and before you know it, they are ripping each other’s clothes off, and having sex in Carly’s bedroom.
Elsewhere, Josslyn went to confront Jason (Steve Burton), for telling Carly that she was in the WSB. He explains he just couldn’t lie to his best friend anymore. Josslyn threw in Jason’ face that Carly had no trouble lying to him about hiding Valentin in the attic. Jason asked Josslyn if she was going to tell anyone about Valentin. Concerned that her mother would be brought up on charges for treason, she will not tunn her in, but she needs Jason to convince her mother to get rid of Valentin.

JOSSLYN THROWS FACTS IN JASON’S FACE
As their heated confrontation continued, Josslyn revealed that she’d distracted Carly with her real target: Sonny and people like him. Jason asked if that was true? Josslyn revealed that sometimes when she thinks about injustice, Sonny comes to mind. Jason told Josslyn Jack was manipulating her. Once again ,she threw Jason’s past in his face, talking about how at the same age as she is now, Sonny had manipulated him to join his crime organization. Jason realizes just how deep Josslyn is into the world of the WSB.

MY BEST FRIEND WANTS MY (EX)-HUSBAND
Finally, Lulu (Alexa Havins) comes clean to Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about her feelings for Nathan (Ryan Paevey). After plenty of back and forth, Maxie tells her best friend, she is OK that she is with anyone … but her ex-husband. As much as Lulu keeps telling Maxie, that Maxie chose Spinelli, she is not OK with Lulu being involved with Nathan. When Lulu left, Maxie looked sadly at the photo of herself with Spinelli and her kids, while Lulu, outside the door, tries to steel herself for what’s next.
So, what did you think about Carly and Valentin hitting the sheets? Do you think it will be a one-night stand, or will Carly and Valentin not be able to resist one another, complicating the entire situation with Jack Brennan? Do you agree with how Josslyn came down on Jason about his choice getting into life with the mob and Sonny?
And, do you think Maxie will not change her mind and want to be with Nathan, or be OK with a life with Spinelli and her children, now that she knows Lulu and Nathan have feelings for each other? Share your thoughts via the comment section below, but first, you can catch the scenes again where Lulu talks to Maxie about her feelings for Nathan.
I have to admit, the ending with Valentin and Carly was HOT! I was like…wow. Today’s show was great!
OMGosh, Valentin & Carly were HOT together. What a scene. I never visualized them together but they need to STAY together. What a power couple they could be.
So what man will be next for Carly? Sidwell lol
Nathan?, lol, try Peter. Like father like son. Faison’s kid Peter that’s right.
And the writing revisionism continues. The situation Joss was in when Brennan manipulated her into joing the WSB is not remotely the same as Jason’s circumstances when he joined Corinthos Coffee, LLC.
For one thing, Sonny didn’t put Jason in those circumstances. His drunken brother AJ did. And the rest of the family couldn’t deal with the results, when the old Jason who liked to wear dorky Xmas sweaters, and wanted to be a doctor, was no longer there. They pushed him away, so he took a job offer from one of the few people who accepted his “new self” as he was.
Joss, on the other horn, was out of her depth chasing down Cyrus the Virus, though justified in wanting him to pay for killing Dex. And of course she was 666% justified in shooting Cyrus for coming at her with an axe. But she should have called Jason to clean that mess up. Or even Sonny. Because contrary to the lies she tells herself now, Sonny would have taken care of that problem for her, and wouldn’t have asked for anything in return.
Unlike Brennan. But given all that’s happened the last few days, between Joss, Carly, Jason, Britt, Brennan, and Val the Bastard, I suspect we might be seeing Brennan down here in Hell soon. All of those mentioned will be suspects, but it’s possible that Jason might take the rap for it, and spend a few months in Pentonville, before he’s cleared of the charges. Which of course would account for his upcoming absence.
Satan, you are so right about how Jason got involved with Sonny all those years ago. I sincerely hope you are wrong about Brennan’s possible demise. I’m with Carly on this one. I think there is a good person deep inside Brennan.
Well we all know that death is sometimes a temporary setback in Port Charles. Somebody with WSB connections could always convincingly fake his own death. But I doubt Carly would forgive him if he set Jason up on a bogus murder charge.
How do I unsee that? While Jax is from Down Under, Valentin travels to down under.
Valentin went from Carly’s attic to her basement.
He certainly did!
Carly is nuts. For decades she’s been tied to mobster Sonny and, by default, she has tied her children to him. Now, she’s hits the sheets with an ex-spy turned wanted criminal at the same time that she’s dating the head of an international espionage agency. Does this woman have any judgement whatsoever? I certainly hope this was a one and done episode. I am glad that Carly was reminded of her coming to Port Charles to destroy Bobbie’s life during the confrontation with Josslyn.
I am not pleased that Maxie has a problem with Lulu and Nathan’s developing connection. Maxie has moved on with Spinelli. Why shouldn’t Nathan move on with his life? I hope Maxie isn’t about to change her mind and want to reconnect with Nathan.
I understand Maxie’s reaction though. She’s still processing so much. She was in love with Nathan when he “died”, and she was in a coma when he returned from the dead. Yes, Spinelli was her choice but it would be painful for Maxie to see her best friend with her ex husband, a man she still hasn’t gotten over.
It might not be rational but who says love is rational? I get it.
Exactly. Nobody wants to see their ex date a friend. No matter how amicably they may have parted. Maxie already has enough on her plate establishing a new dynamic with Nathan. Now her dynamic with Lulu is forever changed also.
Carly has had at least TWO serious lapses in judgement in the past:
1) She hooked up with Frodd, who we were supposed to believe was Franco. The serial killer who had her son Michael raped while he was in prison on charges that were complete dragonshit. And who made Jason & Sam’s life a living Hell (and not in a good way) for a couple of years.
2) She later hooked up with Drew. Though at least he hadn’t become a complete asshole yet at the time, it still was a bizzare pairing.
Oddly enough the excuse given for BOTH of these hookups were essentially the same thing – they happened during the times that Jason was presumed “dead”. Frodd pretended to be Jason’s “twin” for a while. And of course Drew actually IS Jason’s twin. So Carly somehow convinced herself she could hold on to a piece of Jason by shagging his brother.
And didn’t she also briefly hook up with AJ again during his last time up on earth – also during Jason’s frst extended absence? Carly did have her own history with AJ back in the day, of course. But if she hooked up with him in 2013, it probably would bave been the “missing Jason” excuse.
Let me start out saying how the heck did Valentin and Carly end up sleeping together after he got kicked in the nuts? and I don’t like this pairing for the record, mainly because once again Carly gotta be paired with every guy on the show, her and sonny are the sluttiest characters on GH. Loved Josslyn ripping off on both Carly and later Jason, and then theres Lulu, oh boy these Spencer girls are something else, I know she was in a coma for four years and she probably wants some action but her trying to ration trying to hook up with her bff husband is just to much, I’m team Maxie here, Lulu seems so desperate its off coming.
I agree with all of this. Carly should wear underwear which reads,” Open all night.” The sex scene between her and Valentin was kind of cringe. It also reminded me of the sex scene between Anna and Valentin only that was epic and passionate. Also, Anna didn’t have that goofy, weird expression on her face like Carly did when Valentin went downtown.
Didn’t like Josslyn attacking Jason the way she did. She wants to bring down mob and gang leaders, she better remember her dad. He was no saint. Plus she is a murderer, another law enforcement hiding behind the badge.
Carly is always going to bed with somebody, so why not Valetin. That will make a few other women mad.
Please someway, some how put Jason with Diane , anyone but Britt.
Jason and Diane? That would be like pairing up Steve McQueen with Lucy from the Peanuts cartoon.
Joss did not murder Cyrus – he was coming after her.
Jasper Jacks – a corporate raider – is a far cry from a mob kingpin. I’m saying that and I didn’t even like Jax.
Joslynn does have criminal in her family though, and some would say he’s worse then sonny whose just a local criminal but her uncle jerry Jax is an international terrorist.
Maxie made her choice. She chose Spinelli. She should have no say in who Nathan dates. As for Carlie she will have Sonny, Jason and Brennan ticked at her when they find out she was not only hiding Valentine but sleeping with him.
Maxie was ok with losing Nathan to someone else because she chose Spinelli. She did not count on losing her best friend though. They may find a way to co-exist and be cordial, but their best-friend dynamic is gone. I don’t believe this is the real Nathan anyway. Maxie said as soon as she saw him, she didn’t have the same feelings for him. I believe it was the real Nathan, she would have.
When Carly lunged aggressively toward Valentin
to give him a big ole kiss, I was truly hoping he’d push her away and say that it’s not a good idea. But NO! Not only was he a willing participant, he went south of the border. I lost some respect for Valentin. I guess no man can resist Carly’s charms. Paging Anna! The love of Valentin’s life! You are needed back home ASAP.
I know. I was hoping Valentin would be Anna’s savior. Maybe they’ll have Jason be her savior to explain his upcoming absence. I do not like this Carly Valentin pairing. Zero chemistry and the love scenes were ick.
Sexy love scenes don’t appear to be in Laura Wright’s wheel house. The expression on her face as Valentin did his thing was hilariously awkward and yeah, kind of icky.
Totally hated the Valentin Carly sex scene – Josslyn Jason scene
I’ve seen better men for Carly than Valentine, like Brennen. They were hedonistic.
Lulu is getting on my nerves and Carly should not have slept with Valentine I am getting mad with the story wanted Lulu to get back with her ex not Dante and Liz
Maxie should let Nathan do what he wants!
o
Yea, Valcarly is what l have been hoping for since day damned one!!!!!!! Finally time for some great love in the afternoon.Take these two as far as they can go together.Yes yes yes

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Courtesy/ABC
Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”
So, who do you think will be the person to blow Cassius’ cover? Will it be Britt herself? Josslyn? Liesl? Brennan? Nina? Lulu? Rocco, Maxie, Cullum or someone else? Let us know your pick in the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Reveals His Plan to Set Up Chase and Willow to Have an Affair
After the Wednesday, April 29 episode of General Hospital, it’s clear outside interference and other circumstances are set to blow Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) marriage sky high, as Michael (Rory Gibson) reveals his plans to entrap Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and use her relationship with Chase to do it!
In story, Michael dropped by unexpectedly to Carly’s (Laura Wright). A plotting Michael reveals his plan to nudge Willow and Chase into having an affair. Michael hopes it would create both a political and personal scandal, where Willow would lose her seat in congress. In the scenario, she would be having an affair with her ex-husband, while taking care of her supposed disabled husband, Drew (Cameron Mathison), who cannot speak and is confined to a wheelchair, which in turn will look horrible for Willow’s character.
Carly asked does he really want to destroy his cousin, Brook Lynn’s life in the process? Michael goes in on Chase’s holier than thou attitude, and says he is going to set-up the circumstances that would lead Chase and Willow to betray their spouses, and hit the sheets together. Michael swears to Carly what the two of them do is up to them, but he’s going to go on the offense with this.
MICHAEL HAS BACK-UP
Later, Jacinda (Paige Herschell) is talking with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) at Crimson and how much she dislikes Willow because of what she has done to Michael. Just then, Michael shows up and tells Jacinda privately, he’s figured out a way to fight Willow. Looks like Jacinda might work with Michael to bring down Willow and use Chase as the person to do it!
At the hospital, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that Carly is cheating on Jack, but he doesn’t know with who. Josslyn suddenly flashes back to the moment she found her mother harboring a fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), in her attic, and as figured out that her mother is sleeping with him. She heads out.

Courtesy/ABC
BRENNAN IS ABOUT TO LEARN ABOUT CARLY
Next thing you know, Josslyn has showed up inside Jack’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room at the Metro Court and when he enters his room, he is shocked to find her there. He lays into her for not keeping his distance and that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will have no problem killing her if he knows she’s WSB. Josslyn fires back that he is only concerned about that because his relationship with her mother depends on her being safe. But then, she lays the boom, and tells Jack, Well, you’re too late. You already lost her.”
LULU GETS A GLIMPSE OF CASSIUS’ TEMPER
In addition, Lulu (Alexa Havins) sees a different side of “Nathan.” Since she is unaware that the man before her is his twin, Cassius Fasion (Ryan Paevey), he tells her that Rocco (Finn Carr) blabbed that he shot Cullum to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and now he thinks they should send him away to stop him from talking to everyone else. This concerns Lulu, who rails at Nathan for telling her what to do with her son and that she isn’t going to abandon him. With “Nathan’s” outburst at her on the matter, will she finally get a clue this is not the man she thinks it is?
So, what do you think of Michael’s plan to push Willow and Chase into an affair? Will it work or backfire? Do you think Joss will reveal that Valentin is the man sleeping with Carly to Brennan, which will send him in a rage? Will Lulu continue to be clueless about “Nathan?” Weigh-in via the comment section below. But first, take a look at the GH video tease for today’s April 30 episode.
