GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dante and Lulu Admit They Are Still in Love With Each Other Just as Rocco is Left in Peril
On Friday’s May 2nd episode of General Hospital, three major plot points dominated the show; including the must-see scenes between Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn) and Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine). In them, Brook Lynn confesses to Tracy that as a teenager she became pregnant and gave up the baby for adoption. She fills Tracy in on how Lois (Rena Sofer) was involved and kept the secret and how recently she found out that Gloria (Ellen Travolta) knew as well.
Tracy is emphatic to Brook Lynn and feels terrible for her granddaughter that she felt she had to keep this secret from her for years. When inquiring to the sex of the child, Brook Lynn admits she had a boy. Tracy asks if she wants to find her son, but Brook Lynn say she does but is so conflicted if maybe it would be best for her son to find her first. She also tells her grandmother about how Lulu (Alexa Havins) found out about on Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) legal pad, and confronted her and says the father has a right to know.
Brook Lynn says she never told the father and thinks it’s too late now but wonders what Tracy thinks. In the end, Tracy says she’s heartbroken Brook Lynn was so scared to tell her and loves her no matter what. Grab your hankies! (watch the scenes at the end of this post)

Speaking of Lulu, she receives a visit from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), who is asking her to back off on her adoption story because it’s upsetting Brook Lynn, especially after Lulu just scored a major win for her job as a reporter with her video and story on the Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) actions at the Savoy. Lulu asks why Brook Lynn’s feelings are more important to him than her feelings? Dante says his fling with Brook Lynn was so long ago, that all he can surmise it that Lulu is bothered by Brook Lynn, because she’s still in love with him.
Dante admits Maxie (Kirsten Storms) told him the truth and admitted Lulu was going to tell him her true feelings right before the accident that landed her in a coma four years ago. Dante wonders if Lulu thinks he should have waited for her and not fell in love with Sam. Lulu says she is happy that Sam was there for Dante and Rocco (Finn Carr) when she was trapped in a coma.

Lulu goes on to day that she knows that Dante is grieving Sam still, but she has to get on with her life. Lulu says ever since she woke up, she feels lost and then confirms what Maxie says is true. She’s still in love with Dante and in a surprise move, Dante finally admits out loud to Lulu that he is in love with her too.
However, this intense and emotional moment is juxtaposed with a shot of their son, Rocco who has passed out on the beach after downing too many drinks, This occurred after Rocco, at first, refused to drink up with Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) at the beach party to flirt with the PCU girls. Rocco ends up alone while Danny heads off with one of the girls. Will Rocco’s emergency bring Dante and Lulu even closer together? Is this the start of an “issue” for Rocco?

Finally, Drew gets a drug test at GH and it confirms that, yes indeed, there was the recreational drug Ketamine in his system. He shows Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) the lab results after Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) ran the tests. Even though she is still embarrassed by Drew’s behavior the other night, Willow agrees to come to the house to be with him. Next, Drew hightails it over to Mac (John J. York) who is in the hospital at the time and tells him he wants to report a crime. Looks like Portia (Brook Kerr) and Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) plot may backfire big time.
So, are you glad Dante and Lulu admitted their feelings for one another? Will this cause Brook Lynn to put a wrench in their future by telling Dante they had a son? What will happen to Rocco? What did you think about the scenes between Brook Lynn and Tracy, and are you mad that Drew didn’t get buried thirty-feet under after his night with Jacinda? Share your thoughts via the comment section.
But first, check out the heartfelt scenes between Tracy and Brook Lynn as played by Jane Elliot and Amanda Setton, followed by our recent chat with Asher Antonyzyn and Finn Carr.
GH has been great this week. The Lulu/Dante scenes were fantastic. I love Alexa Havens as Lulu, although the character hasn’t been very likable/too nosey since she returned.
The scenes with Brook Lynn and Tracy were pure gold this week. I have said it before, but Jane/Tracy needs to be on the Mount Rushmore of Daytime. I would love to see Dillon come back to Port Charles and also a love interest for Tracy.
I so agree with you about the Tracy scenes. Jane is fantastic.
Yes. I love Tracy—She will be both surprised and happy when the truth about Giò is revealed. Rocco is in trouble and needs a transfusion. Lulu will step up to save her son’s life..
The entire episode and everyone that appeared was 100% on top of giving their best. Outstanding episode!
Of course now, Tracy is going to stick her nose into an already messy situation and pull out all the stops to find Brook Lynn child and reunite him with the Quatermaine family. He’s better off not knowing he’s related to those nut jobs.
I must say, now that they’ve given him a life besides playing the violin, Gio is much more interesting.
When Monica is written off due v the actresses death I hope she wills everything to e eryone but Tracy! She needs to get pushed off her high horse!
I am hoping when that time comes she leaves everything to Jason.
I would say the odds are that Monica will be leaving everything to Michael. Another reason why he definitely needs to return soon… in one form or another.
Not saying Monica wouldn’t want to leave it to Jason, but she probably assumes Jason wouldn’t want it. Sam had to die before he would even consider living in the Q mansion again.
To keep the threat of Tracy being exiled from the house alive, Monica may leave the house to Olivia. Like Monica, Olivia is a Q by marriage, but has illustrated a loyalty to the family over the years.
So tired of lulu’s power struggle, immaturity, and self centeredness, controlling to be on top, in control, everything her way. She so needs to be put in her place and let it be someone else’s way, not hers. A bit of a brat.
The actress plays the part well. In time the writers may give her opportunity to show the other side
I feel just the opposite. If Lulu were as egotistical and self-centered as you describe her, she would have already divulged the truth to Dante. She is between a rock and a hard place. It is her love which puts her in this bind—-she is struggling with the truth. Will the revelation hurt Dante or just the opposite? It is Brook Lynn who is nasty. She should have come clean from the beginning.—Plus, her mother is just as selfish.
Well said, Celia. I completely agree. It is Brook Lynn and Lois who are looking out for themselves. I loved when Lulu asked Carly what she would do if it was Jason who had a child he didn’t know about.
Right??? We should all put ourselves in others’ shoes before passing judgment. I’ve always liked Brook Lynn but TPTB are turning her into a virago—-too self/serving as her mother. I’ve also lost respect for Chase. Where is his head? I don’t like his audacity in tracking Lulu only to tell her off.—-stay away from
his wife? WOW!! What a man!! Not!!
Yes, and then to tell Dante the same, knowing that he and Brook have a son that Dante doesn’t know about took a lot of nerve.
I don’t like Drew and I feel he needs to have a consequence for all the underhanded things he has done to a lot of people especially call the hospital that Michael is in and having the nurse tell Willow that Michael doesn’t want to talk to her!!
I’ve watched gh over 60 years but I hate thr Dree and Willow story such ine fecodef to stop wsychimh.gpr awhile
That call has to backfire. Carly will ask Michael about it. What happens to the Willow character after Michael dumps her and she leaves Drew once she has no choice but to see who he really is?
BLQ is trying to discredit Lulu to everyone out of her fear that her secret will destroy her reputation. If the father was a stranger she wouldn’t care but it’s Dante!
Exactly! I hate the vilification of Lulu and BLQ’s lap dog Chase is joining in. It’s unfair.
I think Chase had a lot of nerve confronting Dante about Lulu’s behavior when he is keeping this huge secret from his supposed best friend.
Quite frankly I am disgusted with Lulu she thinks that the world is hers and she can make decisions and do whatever she wants and be a b****
It might have gone down easier with the original Lulu but for some odd reason they decided to bring in a different one and so I have no allegiance to this one and I hate her every time she opens her mouth I mute it
Between Lulu and Drew I’m not even watching it I’m not DVR in it I’m just reading all about it
I think Drew needs to just go away & take Willow with him. Dante should be told about Gio.Lulu is drama un-needed. I never wanted Curtis to leave Jordon to begin with… & maybe Sasha & Jason, just saying or Sasha & Michael. I like Sasha. Natalia gotta go .
Drew & Willow both need to go. I love Tracy & she does need a boyfriend. I love Ava too. Let Sasha & Jason or Sasha & the new Michael have a shot. I like Sasha & of course we all love Jason & Michael. I never wanted Curtis &Jordan apart
“Doctor” Portia has gone so dark, right? Illegally obtaining Ketamine to be administered to someone against their will. “First do no harm” oath thrown out the window.
Agreed****. Willow is so immature —looking for love in all the wrong places—hmm—where did I hear those words? A song? LOL. She is a cheater. Drew is a twisted, p!g. —corrupt and without integrity. Yes—put them out to pasture.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
