So, what do we have here? On the Monday, April 28th episode of General Hospital, Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) winds up at the Savoy and first speaks to Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and asks how her extra credit project is going. She hopes what she is working on involving a computer model will impress him enough to be chosen for the research assistant job. However, Emma gets a text from Gio (Giovanni Mazza) that she needs to come to the Q’s right away and so she leaves.

Anna (Finola Hughes) arrives at the Savoy and sits at the bar next to Dalton who is ordering a continental sour. She makes a comment to him that she didn’t know anyone ordered those anymore, and they used to be her favorite drink. Next, he orders one for her, calling her his new friend.  After that, he introduces himself as “Hank” Dalton and says he just moved to Port Charles in January to take a job teaching at PCU, after being in California. Anna says PCU is a good school and that her granddaughter is enrolled there. It seemed Anna looked at Dalton a bit suspiciously, or did she?

Meanwhile, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has arrived after her run-in with her WSB handler, Vaughan (Bryce Durfee). He tells Joss to make it over to the Savoy tonight to make a good impression on Dalton, to try to encourage him to hire her for the research assistant. When Joss arrives at the club, she immediately gets suspicious as she spots Dalton chatting it up with Anna at the bar.

In California, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) saves Sonny (Maurice Benard) from almost being killed with a lethal injection in his IV as he is recovering from heart surgery. In the tense moment, ‘the nurse” pulls a gun on Brick and he pulls out one with a silencer, and shoots her dead. However, Sonny hasn’t awakened from his surgery, and so he dreams of seeing his late father, Mike (Max Gail), who is working back at now “Bobbie’s” Diner.

Sonny becomes very emotional when he tells his dad that he should have listened to him years ago. Now, Sonny feels like it might be the right time to leave the mob, because he’s tired of the toll its taken on his loved ones. He brings up that Michael has been caught in the crossfire twice in his life, and the latest one had him set on fire, after an explosion at Sonny’s penthouse meant for him.

Explaining the conflict he has with his current situation, Sonny tells Mike he can’t just disappear, and Jason wants out of the mob as well, so he doesn’t want to take it over. Mike tells Sonny he believes in and that he will find a way to protect his family that’s right for him. When Sonny is finally awake, Carly (Laura Wright) enters his room and she tells him he missed a lot while he was out, but she is so glad he is OK.

So, do you think Anna is already on to Hank Dalton? Do you think GH is gearing up a romantic triangle between Emma/Hank/Anna? What did you think of seeing Max Gail and Maurice Benard together in scenes again? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

This was an excellent episode. I would love to see Dalton be a good guy and find love with Anna. Don’t we already have enough men on the show with shady pasts? Sidwell, Brennon, Sonny, Jason to get started.

The scenes with Sonny and Mike were fantastic. I would like to see Sonny move in a new direction.

The only thing that needed to happen yesterday is Alexis should have told Kristina about what she knows about the car crash. Kristina needed to be backed down.

I too hope for an Anna and Dalton romance.. way more than a teacher – student entanglement.

Always wonderful to see the great Max Gail, even if it’s as a ghost these days. The father/son relationship with Sonny and Mike was some of the best work Maurice Benard has ever done on the show, so any chance to revisit that is a win, in my book. Enjoyed these scenes.

I really hope they’re not having Anna get involved with yet another bad boy.

There are a lot of rumors and speculation about what Dalton might really be up to in Port Charles. It’s too soon to get a read on the character, or Daniel Goddard in the role. Seems like they’re gonna eventually hire everybody that ever auditioned for the role of Brennan, and yet they couldn’t manage to keep the best Brennan they had.

I thought Daniel Goddard was a weak actor when he played Cane on Y&R. Seeing him do even worse as Dalton on GH is hard to believe. He, Justin Hartley and Cameron Matheson are peas in a pod, literally playing themselves in every role. They even look alike. Why on earth did GH hire him when there are so many talented actors out there?

I thought Daniel Goddard was a weak actor when he played Cane on Y&R. Seeing him play Dalton with the exact same smarminess, mannerisms, delivery and self-appreciation on GH is hard to believe. He is clearly only able to play this one character, regardless of the role. He and Cameron Matheson have this in common. They even look alike. Why on earth did GH hire him when there are so many talented actors out there?

Could Kristen Vaganos and Josh Kelly Be Exiting ‘General Hospital?’

Josh and Kristen

General Hospital fans took to social media following the airing of the Wednesday, October 21 episode of the ABC daytime drama series. In story, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) reveals to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that she has received an offer to join the top law firm in Chicago that practices civil law. She says it’s her dream job.

The problem Molly says is relocating from Port Charles and uprooting her life and being away from her mother, Scout and boyfriend Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Wistful that she may lose another daughter to a long-distance situation (Kristina left a few months back to go to medical school in California), Alexis urged Molly to get Cody to go with her.

Molly still seemed concerned and has trouble committing to the idea. Alexis tells her to talk it over with Cody. Meanwhile, Cody asked Tracy (Jane Elliot) is he can have Thanksgiving off because he and Molly planned to spend Thanksgiving together with their families. After initially balking, Tracy agrees.

WILL MOLLY AND CODY HEAD TO CHI-TOWN?

Later, Cody shows up at Miller & Davis and the conversation turned to Thanksgiving dinner that Alexis is hosting. Molly and Cody asked her not to cook anything. Cody hugged Molly reassuring Alexis that he and Molly would take care of whatever was needed on Turkey Day.

So, this raises the question, why out of nowhere are we learning that Molly received an amazing law offer in Chicago, if the character was not being written out? If Molly leaves the canvas, would the character of Cody make his exit too?

Kristen Vaganos joined GH as a recast Molly Lansing-Davis back in September of 2023 and went on contract in August of 2024. Josh Kelly began playing Cody Bell back in June of 2022. Initial reports were that Kelly joined the show on contract and then as of June 2025 went on recurring status with the show per his choice.

Do you see a world where GH is writing out Molly and Cody? Would you be sad to see Kristen and Josh exit the soap opera? If this is not what is going on, is this just a plot point for some other story that is upcoming? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

Kin Shriner Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ TV Daughter Kelly Kruger

Kin and kelly

It’s been over two-years since his last appearance on General Hospital, now fan favorite Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) has taken to social media to share his thoughts on the casting of his grown-up TV daughter, Serena Baldwin now played by Kelly Kruger.

Kelly took over the role of Serena on-screen starting with the July 30, 2026 episode and has been ensconced in the storyline with her mother, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), in trying to win back full creative control of Deception for her.

In fact on the Monday, October 19 episode of the ABC soap opera, Serena tried to dupe Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) into signing over Michael’s (Rory Gibson) shares of the company. Jason caught on and wondered why she was doing this. She claimed she just wanted to help her mom gain creative control from Tracy (Jane Elliot) rather than full ownership, and begged Jason to keep quiet about it, which he agreed to for now.

WHERE IS SCOTT?

On Monday, Shriner also took to X and said, “I think Kelly Kruger is doing a great job on General Hospital, and she and Lynn Herring work well together.” That was followed by comments in his thread about the show needing to bring back Scott too.

In fact, back on August 25, Shriner also took to X with a reminder that Scott is still around and ready to come back to Port Charles, sharing, “Scotty Baldwin always fits in he just needs the right sport coat !!!!”

The last time Serena mentioned her father Scott was when Kruger made her debut and informed Lucy that her father was, “living his best life in Key West.”  Meanwhile, Shriner posts on his X account continually and shared back on August 2, that it has been 49 years since he made his on-screen debut as then teenaged, Scotty Baldwin and thanked the fans for al the love and support.

So, now let us know, are you enjoying Kelly Kruger as Serena Baldwin? Do you want to see GH bring back Scott Baldwin into the story, so Serena has both her parents in Port Charles? Do you like the potential of Jason and Serena pairing? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
