GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason and Britt Reach an Impasse; Is This the End of Their Relationship?

On the Friday, September 11 episode of General Hospital, Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) relationship becomes strained to potentially the point of no return.

Things take a turn when an unglued Britt having been traumatized by almost being killed by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks Jason to back her up with the PCPD when she reports Anna for attempted murder.

However, Jason told Britt, he can’t. Jason shares that he does not believe Anna would have gone through with shooting her. Therefore, Britt was not in any real imminent danger. Britt is flabbergasted and hurt that Jason is refusing to tell the police what he actually witnessed for himself on Mount Emerson.

BRITT WANTS BACK UP FROM JASON

Jason counters that he can’t believe that Britt would want Anna punished. or sent to prison, or a mental facility after the trauma she endured while being locked up and mentally tortured while at Wyndemere.

He asks Britt, “How could you even say that you want her locked up or prosecuted for what she did when you knew she was being held prisoner and you did nothing to save her?” Britt is stunned by Jason’s response.

Coming up, official General Hospital spoilers share that on the upcoming Monday, September 14 episode, Jason confides in Carly (Laura Wright), while Britt is stung. In the video preview that aired at the end of the Friday, September 11 episode for this coming Monday, Britt says to Jason, “You don’t believe me. Do you?”

General Hospital head scribes, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte previously teased in their fall preview of the soap, “Britt and Jason have come a long way and fought a lot of enemies to be together. But the most stubborn obstacle to their happiness isn’t without, it’s within. Decisions Britt made to stay alive while under Cullum’s thumb will come back to haunt her and may prove too difficult for this unlikely couple to survive.”

So, what do you think will happen? Will Jason and Britt break-up over Britt’s lies and Jason’s unwillingness to report Anna’s crime against her? Do you want Jason and Britt to go their separate ways? If they do, will Britt become romantically involved with Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) ? If so, who do you pair Jason with? Anyone? Weigh-in via the comment section.

It’s been rumored since before Steve took his break from GH that Jason and Britt won’t last. I for one hope that is true. I love Jason, but I’m not a fan of the Jason and Britt pairing. I know fans think they sizzled a few years back, but they have fizzled this time around. They have to be the least sexiest couple on the show right now. They seem more like friends instead of two people in love. I hope the writers break them up and stop trying to force this union.

Now that Jason is out of the mob and decided to put his family first, I’d like to see Jason build a relationship with both Jake and Danny. Hey writers Jason has two biological sons. They need to bring Jake home. It’s great that Jason wants to raise Danny, but he should also work on his relationship with Jake. I want to see Jake and Danny build a relationship. They are both legacy characters and should both be on the canvas.

Now that Jason is no longer working for Sonny, I’d like to see the writers reunite Jason and Elizabeth. This is the perfect time to give them a real chance to be happy. I am a big Liz and Lucky fan and Friz fan, but I also loved Liason and wish they had a real chance to be together. I always thought Liz and Jason fell in love with each other before Lucky returned from the grave. I loved when they finally admitted theg loved each other after Jake was born. Sadly it didnt last because Jason’s ties to Sonny/mob. Now that Jason has cut his ties to the .mob, maybe it time to reunite Liason.

❤️

I hope Jason and Britt aren’t over.. I want to see their relationship onscreen instead of offscreen.

Simply put, there are characters I am always happy to see and others not so much. I’m afraid Britt inhabits the latter camp. She is negative, ungrateful, obnoxious, whiney, and lacks empathy. She is so bad that when she goes toe to toe with the equally obnoxious Carly, I don’t know for whom I should root.

Disappointed that Jason and Britt are breaking up. Jason should have believed Britt

Oh he believes her. He just doesn’t like her anymore.

I don’t either.

I’m really starting to regret that deal I made with Frank Valentini last year. I agreed to parole Britt from Hell, so she could get back with Jason. In return, we were supposed to get the delivery of one Drew Cain, in time for him to be the guest of honor at the dragons’ Labor Day BBQ.

I held up my end of the bargain, Frank. But Drew’s still not here, and now the future looks bleak for Britt & Jason. What the unholy Hell is up with that?? All so they can prop some more newbies that nobody asked for?

I think Britt and Jason should stay together. Quit making Britt so whiny and ungrateful, change her character for the better.

SB and KT had noticeable chemistry prior to the rushed Carly/Jason nuptials happening before Sonny’s return from Nixon Falls.

This time around started out fine but fizzled as time went along.

Does Burton still have it in him to play a romance? And, just who could they pair Jason with at this point? Does anyone want to see him with Robin’s mother? Another of Sonny’s exes (Nina or Ava?). If Jordan wasn’t such a weak character, that might’ve been intriguing.

As bloated as the cast may seem, they’ll probably have to introduce a new female character to interact with Jason.

Could Kristen Vaganos and Josh Kelly Be Exiting ‘General Hospital?’

Josh and Kristen

General Hospital fans took to social media following the airing of the Wednesday, October 21 episode of the ABC daytime drama series. In story, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) reveals to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that she has received an offer to join the top law firm in Chicago that practices civil law. She says it’s her dream job.

The problem Molly says is relocating from Port Charles and uprooting her life and being away from her mother, Scout and boyfriend Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Wistful that she may lose another daughter to a long-distance situation (Kristina left a few months back to go to medical school in California), Alexis urged Molly to get Cody to go with her.

Molly still seemed concerned and has trouble committing to the idea. Alexis tells her to talk it over with Cody. Meanwhile, Cody asked Tracy (Jane Elliot) is he can have Thanksgiving off because he and Molly planned to spend Thanksgiving together with their families. After initially balking, Tracy agrees.

WILL MOLLY AND CODY HEAD TO CHI-TOWN?

Later, Cody shows up at Miller & Davis and the conversation turned to Thanksgiving dinner that Alexis is hosting. Molly and Cody asked her not to cook anything. Cody hugged Molly reassuring Alexis that he and Molly would take care of whatever was needed on Turkey Day.

So, this raises the question, why out of nowhere are we learning that Molly received an amazing law offer in Chicago, if the character was not being written out? If Molly leaves the canvas, would the character of Cody make his exit too?

Kristen Vaganos joined GH as a recast Molly Lansing-Davis back in September of 2023 and went on contract in August of 2024. Josh Kelly began playing Cody Bell back in June of 2022. Initial reports were that Kelly joined the show on contract and then as of June 2025 went on recurring status with the show per his choice.

Do you see a world where GH is writing out Molly and Cody? Would you be sad to see Kristen and Josh exit the soap opera? If this is not what is going on, is this just a plot point for some other story that is upcoming? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

Kin Shriner Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ TV Daughter Kelly Kruger

Kin and kelly

It’s been over two-years since his last appearance on General Hospital, now fan favorite Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) has taken to social media to share his thoughts on the casting of his grown-up TV daughter, Serena Baldwin now played by Kelly Kruger.

Kelly took over the role of Serena on-screen starting with the July 30, 2026 episode and has been ensconced in the storyline with her mother, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), in trying to win back full creative control of Deception for her.

In fact on the Monday, October 19 episode of the ABC soap opera, Serena tried to dupe Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) into signing over Michael’s (Rory Gibson) shares of the company. Jason caught on and wondered why she was doing this. She claimed she just wanted to help her mom gain creative control from Tracy (Jane Elliot) rather than full ownership, and begged Jason to keep quiet about it, which he agreed to for now.

WHERE IS SCOTT?

On Monday, Shriner also took to X and said, “I think Kelly Kruger is doing a great job on General Hospital, and she and Lynn Herring work well together.” That was followed by comments in his thread about the show needing to bring back Scott too.

In fact, back on August 25, Shriner also took to X with a reminder that Scott is still around and ready to come back to Port Charles, sharing, “Scotty Baldwin always fits in he just needs the right sport coat !!!!”

The last time Serena mentioned her father Scott was when Kruger made her debut and informed Lucy that her father was, “living his best life in Key West.”  Meanwhile, Shriner posts on his X account continually and shared back on August 2, that it has been 49 years since he made his on-screen debut as then teenaged, Scotty Baldwin and thanked the fans for al the love and support.

So, now let us know, are you enjoying Kelly Kruger as Serena Baldwin? Do you want to see GH bring back Scott Baldwin into the story, so Serena has both her parents in Port Charles? Do you like the potential of Jason and Serena pairing? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
