The Wednesday, April 8 episode of General Hospital, began with the pick-up of the car crash that left Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) in peril. After Curtis woke up, he realized Jordan was knocked out at the steering wheel as the car began leaking gas.

Curtis tries to get Jordan to come to, but to no avail. He desperately tries to get her out of the vehicle, but he can’t get the passenger door to open and Jordan is trapped inside.

Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright), who is making out with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) gets a call from Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) who is stranded on the road, and who is using Danny’s (Asher Antonyzyn) phone. Carly hands the phone to Valentin at Charlotte’s request. Valentin and Carly head out to find Charlotte and Danny. However, while driving on the road, Curtis is flagging down their car needing urgent help with Jordan.

WHO REALLY CAUSED THE CRASH?

Valentin stays behind to help Curtis get to a badly injured Jordan, while Carly drives off to find Charlotte and Danny. Carly finds them and sees Charlotte’s car which was clearly in an accident. Danny says he was driving.

Carly takes them to her house and calls someone from Corinthos Towing to repair the damaged car and have it returned to her. Charlotte asks where her father is. Carly says he stopped to help another accident. Then, Carly asks if they’re the ones who caused the accident? But could that be a red-herring?

At the end of the episode, Valentin and Curtis free Jordan from the car just after it explodes, and they all fall to the ground. One Valentin hears the sirens from the police or paramedics ring out, he makes a run for it, leaving an anguish Curtis wondering if he will lose Jordan forever?

BACK FROM WHERE I STARTED

In other news, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) was dragged back to Wyndemere by her brother, Cassius (Ryan Paevey) and apologized to Sidwell (Carlo Rota) for the trouble she has caused, but she falls short of telling him that it was Cullum who killed his son, Marco.

Now, Britt is back to square one trapped at Wyndemere in the lab to finish Faison’s final project with the hopes that Cullum will continue to supply her with her meds to warn off her Huntington’s disease symptoms, but will he do so?

So, with the Charlie’s Pub opening and Brook Lynn arriving late, do you think it could have been her, who was in the other vehicle that crashed into Jordan and Curtis, or someone else? And what of Jordan? Does she survive her injuries sustained in the crash? Weigh-in with your thoughts and theories via the comment section.  But first, watch what happens when Carly and Valentin can’t fight their attraction to one another, which ends with a distressed phone call.

I’m afraid that I may be right about Jordan biting the dust after the accident. I am not happy about that.

Carly and Valentin!!!!!!!!!!!! That woman has absolutely no judgement when it comes to the men she gets involved with.

Carly’s theme song should be,” I’m Just a Girl Who Can’t Say No “ from the musical Oklahoma.

And they have zero chemistry. Worst pairing in years.

Ummm… she had more chemistry with Valentin than she ever exhibited with Drew. Her best recent pairing was with the original Brennan.

They just don’t fit. And while Laura Wright is a beautiful and talented actress, she’s just plain awkward&clumsy trying to be sexy. Carly and Valentin are just ick together.

But.. but… but.. you must be wrong- all the men of Port Charles are madly in love with her. She must be sexy as all hell! We laymen just don’t get Carly’s enormous sex and romantic appeal so it needs to be redundantly jammed down our throats.

Well, add Isiah to the suspect list.

Yeah, this is going to become quite the clusterphuck. Isaiah looks possibly guilty because he was going to make a “secret house call”. The kids look guilty because they were on the road, and Carly called in the services of Corinthos Towing & Autobody to fix their car. Brooklynn may or may not have been driving drunk, and was somehow late to Gio’s musical performance.

Of course these could all be red herrings. Let’s not forget that Jordan has been working “undercover” within the Legion of Dumb. And who’s to say that Cullum didn’t do something to her car the same night that he stabbed Marco and attempted to kill Britt & Jason on the docks?

Jordan thinks she’s been careful in her “undercover” work, but she’s still frequently meeting with Laura, and the Legion of Dumb are no doubt aware that she’s back together with Curtis. Who obviously isn’t a friend of Sidwell & company. So it’s not all surprising if Cullum was on to her and consdered her a “loose end” who needed to be “tied up”.

I think you’re on to something. Plus leading up to the accident, both Curtis and DA Turner warned Jordan that she might get caught in the crossfire with Sidwell’s misguided (and pretty damn stupid) grief rage directed toward Sonny.

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
