GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Gets an Eyeful

Is everyone in heat in Port Charles? What’s going on? On Wednesday’s, November 6th episode of General Hospital, Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) find themselves on the floor after they had sex and now have to figure out where to go from here. She came to see Drew in an effort to comfort him after finding out he and his daughter, Scout were reeling from the news of Sam’s death.

Drew apologizes for their moment of passion saying he was completely blindsided by Sam’s death. Willow says that they have been fighting this attraction for a long time and this is on both of them. And of course adds, “This can never happen again.” Right? After getting their clothes on and as Willow exits, the camera pans to her earring which is left on the ground.

Later, Willow pretends she just came in through the Quartermaine front door as Michael (Chad Duell) asks where she has been given Sam’s death. She doesn’t quite give a sufficient answer and it seems like Michael might, kinda, sorta, be on to her? Willow swears she wants to be there for Michael right now during this difficult and emotional time.

Drew asks where Scout is, because she wasn’t in her room. Michael shoots a look at Willow. Drew then makes up some excuse and comforts Scout when she turns up as Michael looks suspiciously at his wife. Scout says she isn’t tired, so Drew suggests they watch a movie. Willow pipes up that’s a good idea.

Michael in the foyer looks down at an incoming message on his baby cam that indicates there is some pre-recorded video. When Michael plays it, he sees that it’s Drew and Willow (in the clothes they are wearing making out upstairs.

Courtesy/ABC

Scout wants Willow to tuck her in, so Drew goes along with, as they are in the foyer about to go up the stairs. Michael watches the video and sees Drew and Willow taking off their clothes and landing on the bedroom floor having sex. He is stunned!

Didn’t Willow just sleep with Michael and now she slept with Drew in a span of 24-48 hours? Wouldn’t this mean we need to prepare for a “Who’s the Daddy?” storyline? And what about kidnapped Sasha? Is she going to be pregnant with Michael’s baby? Share your thoughts on this storyline and what you think will happen next via the comment section below.

This is some crazy —-! Drew and Willow make no sense! I could see if they placed musical chairs with Michael and Sasha and Cody and Willow, but Drew is old enuf to be her daddy and I don’t see the chemistry. They are spending too much time with Robert and Holly and more than likely, Emma will only be around for a short time. I would rather see more about Sam and what caused her death. Nancy Grahn, Steve Burton and the new Molly are knocking it out of the park, along with Dominic Z!

Maybe Sam got an airlock? LOL Seriously, do we know how Sonny’s gun got from the water to the PCPD? Did I miss that? I assumed it was due to Sam’s diving abilities. If so, she did reveal she’d been diving so recently before surgery? I know that diving and flying within a certain time are a no-no. Is surgery? I have lost track of event times. More likely, Cyrus ‘done her in’. Such a messy story. Now, it’s “St. Sam”. Yeah, I’m sure that makes Kelly feel better. Rub a little dirt on it and move on, Ms. Monaco. If they decide to resurrect your character and call you back, show them your back tattoo.

With you all the way … except that there can NEVER be enough Robert and Holly! 😉

I’d say too damn much!

I’m glad Holly is gone. Those eyebrows… She was just annoying!!

Willow and Drew deserve each other. They both try to come across ss saints. I can’t wait for Willow to find out he’s also sleeping with her mother and Carly and the rest of the family to find out. I’d hate to see what she’d do if she didn’t love her life so much. Time for forgiveness is Gone.

I stopped caring about willow after what she did to CHASE‼️ Just keep her FAR AWAY from Chase & Brook Lynn.
I don’t care about her or michael.

As wonderful as it’s been watching three consecutive days of Robert and Holly, THIS storyline just gets sicker and sicker. I am repulsed by the way Drew has been stalking Willow, and her character has become unrecognizable. As for the impending (and inevitable) Who’s the Daddy, mark me down as Who Cares? I’m off for a shower …

LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER WHEN SHE FINDS OUT DREW IS BANGING HER MOTHER SHE WILL GET PREGNANT AND IT WILL BE DREW ‘S BABY CARLY WILL BE DONE WITH HER WHEN SHE FINDS ABOUT HER AND DREW

I see Willow pregnant with twins. One with Michael and one with Drew. Since she is a twin herself. Sasha will be pregnant with Michael’s baby. Yes, I’m ready for these storylines

Could be the cousin’s baby but something tells me they not cousins and that Holly is lying.

Oh, I remember years ago , on GL ,they did an exact SL of woman cheating on husband and had twins, one from each man.

Seems like a simple solution.. Drew with Willow, Michael back with Sasha… let’s move on.

Yes. Sasha will be pregnant and so will willow.

Why stop there? Have Nina be pregnant with Drew’s baby too at this rate. Vile partner swaps happening all over the Port Charles. I’m surprised they haven’t had Drew violate Lulu in her hospital bed. Whatever makes zero sense and will gross us out, that’s what they’re writing. That writing team has lost their minds.

Maybe you’re being facetious here, but Watros is 56. I doubt they’ll be doing a pregnancy with her. Nina also went through early menopause during her 20 year coma.

She has already been tested. She cannot have any kids. She’s too old.

You got that right!!! The writing team isn’t writing stories that make sense!!! They should be replaced!!!!

I agree the writing is awful and random wth stop think plan a full story line

I thought they were lol Good bye GH

I agree. The writers are NARCISSISTIC!!

This made me laugh out loud! I’m so annoyed by this writing. I’m not even watching anymore.

I think that witch is too old to reproduce any thing human!

Ever since the new writers came to GH the storyline has been all over the place and a lot of it just doesn’t make sense. The new writers need to go! They suck!! Thank goodness Holly is gone!!

Another storyline nobody was asking for. Sam’s dead – let’s get it on.

Show would never do this – but how about giving all 4 (Sasha – Michael – Willow – Drew) an STI?

None of them are innocent but Drew is the most vile of the bunch. Really, on the playroom floor where you were just attempting to console your daughter?

I think Willow initiated it!!!

The writers not the characters are off the wall yet boring sam gone brad in .what sense is in that. No story line for Jason and where’s Jocelyn?

In bed with the new male wh o re
I thought he slept with Molly now she is preggo. I stopped watching

He’s turned into such a pig! Even if she was climbing all over him, can’t they give the guy some self control and self- respect, I could go on forever here, but nothing will change, so why bother, he’s just turned into a despicable S.O.B!

drew is scume and willow is stupid.

Yep

Those baby options were my thoughts exactly. Oh the tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive

this is one horrible story line, makes no sense and is pretty disgusting

There must be another writers’ strike of which I’m unaware. This is crap even for a soap.

That’s word!!

Sasha and Michael back together Willow pregnant for Drew and Sasha pregnant for Michael

Is Sam Really dead? After all she is a Cassedine?? Just saying!

So sad that Willow is a cheater. She has no right being upset when she finds out about Drew and Nina.

It’s not a surprise. She cheated on Chase too.

Awww, sweet little innocent Willow!!!

Yep‼️ Once willow screwed over CHASE, I was soooo done with her and michael!! That’s why I don’t care what happens to either one of them now‼️

What comes around goes around and hopefully all out the door

Yes, I agree

And how it upset is she going to be when she finds out about michael and sacha?

Serves her little cheating ass right!

Really tired of the Drew/Willow story line.

I think they are getting ready to write off Drew and Willow. They will take Scout and maybe Amelia and move to DC after Drew wins election. Willow not Wileys mom so Michael will keep him.

Michael should have custody of both children Jason Danny , Alexis Scout

No problem w/ Sam leaving big a big problem w/ Willow drew hook up
Stupid ! Willow is crazy snd Drew a real creep to do that to both of them Drew looks discussing w/ that stubble and to old for her
snd a jerk for going thst
Horrible storyline hate I tv and will prob stop watching

Micheal and shacha belong tougher for a long time it’s passed due

Facts!

Holy Moly—this soap has turned pornographic. Why don’t they all share the same bed and get it over with—why?? The show has lost all integrity. I just fast forward.

Well said.

Willows how ?

Sasha is going to be pregnant and so is Willow. What a big mess. I hope Michael stays with Sasha.
.

Plots should be twisty and fun, not disallusioning and heartbreaking. I hate what has!happened to the show!that I have watched since it first aired!

They not gonna end up together because the dirty little secret about drew banging mother and daugther will get exposed. I hope it so she gonna look crazy. You blew up your marriage for a man who fucked ya mother, mother in law and you. I’m just here to see how this about to get exposed.

Get Sasha back with Cody. Willow will be pregnant. They are all fooling around so it will be forgiven but Willow will have twins. Robert and Mac won’t be brothers will be found out.

Yes Willow did just sleep with both of them. And Sasha just did Michael and they’re all nasty. I do not like this storyline, but what’s done is done. I am so upset about Sasha and Cody thing. I think that the new writers are ruining the show even if we just say from bringing Holly back. I have never liked any storyline that had Holly in it taking Kelly away was a big mistake. I don’t know who these writers are, but I don’t expect to be sticking around much longer and I’ve watched since I was a small child. I watched when it was a 30 minute show with my mother.

I DONT LIKE THE STORYLINES EITHER I HAVE WATCHED GH FOR YEARS LOOOOVE STEVE BURTON MAURICE BENARD AND CARLY ALEXIS DESERVES A EMMY FOR HER PERFORMANCE SINCE SAM DEATH NANCY GRAHM HAS BEEN NAILING IT WILLOW IS A LITTLE SNEAKY TRAMP JUST LIKE HER MAMA DREW IS A PIG MICHAEL IS GOING TO GET RUTHLESS

I honestly wish they would pull a Dallas move. Tell Kelly Monaco you’re sorry and bring her back and pretend all of this was just a dream or nightmare whichever way you look at it get Holly back off the show.

I am getting so tired of this soap opera and I can’t tell you what I think about Willow because I am too much of a lady she used the words that I want to use and Drew he has disappointed me I think he’s useless I think he’s a low class piece of you know what and I really wish that Holly would go away and never come back

Put. Michael and sasha back together

My sentiment exactly!

This is custody changing video evidence. Michael can walk away with the kids free and clear. Having a romp in the baby nursery/playroom? Where anyone can walk in?

I don’t care who died – that romp made no sense whatsoever. Drew’s relationship with the NUDrew and Sam never caught on or had any chemistry. Drew’s scenes about the loss of Sam were not believable. Perhaps because Jason’s, Alexis’s, Dante’s, and even Spinelli’s were so freaking good

So Drew – who Willow just did the nasty with – has slept with both Willow’s mother and her Mother in law.

Nice!

Why is the nanny cam sending Michael video?it’s scout’s room. And that’s not his house. Why isn’t anyone else getting video. His kids are to young to be unsupervised with just a camera. They live in the gate house. He should not be the only one if it’s a playroom camera for random kids who hangout at a place they doing live. And also Willow is Nell’s twin. Michael has been with both and had kids with both sisters. Is no one else bothered by that . Wished they would of brought Nell back. Maybe her and Willo
w were more alike than not.

Maybe Michael is the one who set up the camera, or the whole network in the mansion?

Not that the Q’s couldn’t afford to pay somebody to do that, but Monica might have trusted her grandson to handle the technology, rather than let strangers run around the mansion.

As far as Mikey being with both Psycho Nelle and Willow… in his defense, he certainly didn’t know that Willow was related to that Psycho (or to Nina) when he married her. But in Mikey’s case, it’s a family tradition. His mother Carly has been with three brothers (AJ, Jason, and Drew) and his dad Sonny was with both Sam and her mother Alexis back in the day.

My beef is this show (and daytime in general) is selective in their use of technology and security. Sure, there a baby cam in the teddy bear, but where are the rest of the cameras on the property? The cook was just kidnapped from the kitchen and an FBI agent was killed at the boat house. Why the heck is Yuri there if he’s not keeping the place secure?

Have Carly and Jason actually ever have sex? I don’t think they have… isn’t that part of what makes their bond to each other so strong?

Wasn’t the wedding night interrupt?

They used to have sex when Jason was dating Robin but was being cautious about having sex…that’s how it was believable that Michael could have been Jason’s son.

Wasn’t Carly and Jason together when they were younger ( like in their late teens) AJ also

Well, Michael’s never been the sharpest tack on the wall, but u would think after all this time he’d see the common garden tool Willow is!! Never liked her or Michael–they actually do DESSERVE EACH OTHER!

Who’s the daddy? In what case? Drew, Michael and Willow , or Sasha, Cody and Michael? Wouldn’t it be funny if Michael turns out to be the daddy of both babies?

As creepy as Drew sleeping with his nephew’s wife (and her mother) is, I’m not surprised that Willow’s cheating on Michael. She has a history of cheating, even if it was WITH Michael instead of ON Michael before. It’s lazy storytelling, but I saw this coming. At some point, they were going to have Willow cheat on Michael to either destroy Millow’s marriage or simply put them through the wringer again. Willow cheated on Chase because she loved Michael, so Michael never thought that she’d cheat on HIM. Now that Willow’s cheating on Michael with Drew, Michael’s echoing what Chase told Austin when he found out that Michael and Willow had slept together. Michael told Jason that Willow was incapable of a one night stand, and he agreed with Sasha that Willow wouldn’t risk everything unless she had feelings for Drew. It seems almost intentional to destroy Millow in a “what goes around comes around” way now that Chalynn’s happily married. Karma stinks.

When Willow forgave Michael for not telling her that Nina was her mother and that he’d blackmailed Nina over it, I figured that their marital strife storyline was over. It seemed like they were getting back on track, but the writers decided to destroy them even further instead. They finally convinced me that Michael and Willow belonged together after several years of forcing it down my throat, even if they were a bit boring. Sasha finally found a good man after losing Brando so tragically (RIP Johnny Wactor). I was also really excited about seeing Cameron Mathison on daytime television again.

Then, they ruined all that by making Drew beyond OOC to the point that he’s completely detestable. Willow’s repeating the same behavior from four years ago when she cheated on Chase with Michael, because she fell in love with Michael. Now, she’s cheating on her “true love” Michael with his uncle Drew (ick), because she’s in love with Drew. Willow apparently falls in love with other men really easily when she’s married. She hasn’t really grown as a character. Instead, they’ve made her even worse. At least when she cheated on Chase, it wasn’t with his brother or another blood relative.

All that being said, I’m looking forward to Michael getting his revenge on Drew. He’s a Quartermaine, Corinthos, Spencer AND Morgan, so Drew’s screwed. As AJ’s biological son, Jason’s nephew and Carly’s son who was raised by Sonny, he’s the last person I’d want to piss off by sleeping with his wife. lol If Drew thinks that Michael’s just going to let this go, he’s got another thing coming.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

Published

on

By

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

Photo: JPI

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

Published

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Courtesy/ABC

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
