GENERAL HOSPITAL: During Their Blowout Argument, Michael Tells Willow, “Drew is a Destructive, Manipulative Fraud.” Meanwhile, Kai Tattles on Curtis and Portia
On General Hospital, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) told Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) what we all have been shouting at our TV screens for months, “Drew is a destructive, manipulative, fraud!” It all goes down during a major confrontation with the exes on the Tuesday, June 24th episode of the ABC soap opera.
After Michael learns of Willow’s plans to marry Drew (Cameron Mathison) and get back custody of their children, Michael lowers the boom, shouting, “It doesn’t matter what Drew is telling you, I have custody and I have the power in this situation, and I will exercise every bit of that power to protect our children.” Problem is, both parents have been lied to by the court’s decision, because as we have learned, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) paid off Judge Heran to give full custody of Michael, but the question is why? Many believe Drew is pulling all the strings in the ruling, or that it’s all part of Sidwell’s plan to destroy Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Back to the argument, Michael tells Willow that he has to protect Wiley and Amelia as long as she is with Drew, adding, “Your relationship with him is not healthy for you, and it’s definitely not healthy for our kids.” Willow counters, “You’re just trying to bully me into dumping Drew, and that tells me all I need to know. You’re scared I’ll win and when I do, Michael, I will try to have more compassion for you, then you have had for me.”

In addition, Willow tells Michael he’s been unreasonable from the very start, especially when he wouldn’t even see her when she went to Germany to discuss the custody of the children with him. Michael says nobody told him she was there. However, she insists the receptionist told her that he refused to see her. Puzzled, Michael says that it makes no sense … he wouldn’t have done that! When will Michael finally investigate this and come to realize Drew paid off the clinic receptionist?

Meanwhile, after the disastrous press conference where Drew blackballed Tracy (Jane Elliot) to welcome him as a Quartermaine, and she does the opposite, he is later alone with his protege Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). Drew is blindsided by what went down and wants to fix his reputation as he looks guiltier than ever. He tells Kai that he and Willow are getting married and trying to get custody of her children back, However, if his name isn’t cleared, and on top of that if the judge thinks he’s a drug user, he’ll fail both his constituents and the woman who he loves.

Kai is reactionary and seemingly being faithful to Drew, who he thinks has given him a new career path, and recalls what he overheard between Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner). He tells Drew there’s something he needs to know, “Curtis plans to find Jacinda, the escort and bring her to Port Charles and have her tell everyone you are knowingly abusing drugs.” He adds, “This can be a huge problem for you and Willow. So you need to prepare now in case he proceeds.” Drew is stunned!

So, do you think Michael will get on with figuring out what happened in Germany when Willow came to visit him? Are you pissed that now Kai tipped off Drew? It seems like Drw will continue to be one step ahead of everyone! Since Michael says Drew is a “fraud,” while we know his intent in his conversation with Willow, could it be a precursor that Drew is not actually “Drew,” and a resurrected Shiloh? I am really starting to dislike Kai. His displaced loyalty to Drew is sickening.
Kai’s most exciting and compelling scenes were when he played in the televised Pine Valley Football game. Our eyes were glued to the screen! Oh wait, those weren’t our eyes, they
We’re GH character’s eyes, like Joss’s, Trina’s, Gio’s and Curtis’s. Never mind.
Please excuse my mistakes of grammar and punctuation. In my haste, I accidentally posted it, and then I was unable to make necessary edits. Kind of ruins the joke!
I see a who killed Drew mystery coming
Drew isn’t being killed off.
Don’t be so sure of that. When I negotiated Britt’s parole from Hell, you know I have to get somebody’s soul in return, right?
Thelma, I sure hope so and soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As much as a large portion of the audience detests Drew, CM looks like he’s having a blast playing a smarmy character. Eventually, I’d say they’d have to address the shift in character. Then again, they drop things like Drew having Jason’s memories.
I like Drew as a villian, I know everybody is thinking they are gonna kill off the character, but that would be a stupid move, Drew is a sleazebag, but to kill him off and have cartoon villan Sidwell running around town(although he’s growing on me too when he’s not played out like a “cartoon villian”) so enough with the killing Drew off,

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
