On the Monday, November 10th episode of General Hospital, Ned (Wally Kurth) runs into Gio (Giovanni Mazza) at Bobbie’s. He thanks him for helping Tracy see the light where Ronnie was concerned. Ned shares how he is getting the Quartermaine heirlooms and all of the boxes returned from Lulu’s to the mansion, now that his mother has been officially given the keys and ownership of Monica’s house.

While Ned was speaking with Gio, he seems to be breathing heavier than usual and at one points makes a comment that he might have eaten to much as his stomach felt full. As Ned exits, and stands outside of the coffee shop, he calls the movers asking for an update on the delivery of the boxes, but is upset to learn they may have lost them.

Just as this is going down, Drew (Cameron Mathison) comes upon the scene and overhears Ned’s call. Next, Drew proudly boasts the boxes are exactly where they should be. Ned looks confused. Drew says he had all the items shipped to his house, because he is as much a Quartermaine as he is, and although he might not have the mansion, he has the heirlooms that were in it.

Ned fumes and shouts at Drew because he is keeping the Quartermaine heirlooms completely out of spite. He knows Drew has no memories of any of the items in it, or the history of the family, and tells Drew he will sue him for theft.

Suddenly, Ned clutches his chest and holds on to the chair to try to stabilize himself. Drew laughs in his face, and jokes he is doing a bad job at faking a heart attack like Edward did with Tracy years ago. As Drew walks away on his cane, Ned collapses to the ground.

IS WILLOW THE WRECKING BALL ABOUT TO SPLIT UP CHASE AND BROOK LYNN?

Meanwhile at Pentonville Prison, Chase (Josh Swickard) comes to visit Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and the two hold hands after she becomes emotional when Chase brings her photographs of her kids. When Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) shows up, Chase explains he is not there as a cop, but he is investigating as a citizen who else could have tried to shoot Drew, and he’s still thinking the prime suspect should be on Michael (Rory Gibson). Next, Alexis gets a call from Felicia (Kristina Wagner) that Portia’s (Brook Kerr) story the night of the shooting doesn’t check out.

Courtesy/ABC

At the Qs, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has come to see Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) at her request. She explains it seems like Chase is working to get Willow off the hook for Drew’s shooting. Dante informs her that her husband has come to visit Willow at Pentonville on three separate occasions upsetting BLQ.

As Chase comes home, Dante exits to leave the two to chat. Is Brook Lynn finally clued in enough to realize Chase had rekindled his feelings for his ex-wife Willow? Stay tuned! Now below, check out scenes between Chase, Willow and Alexis below from today’s GH.

So, do you think Ned had a heart attack or is something else at play?  What do you think of Drew leaving him there to potentially die?  Is Ned being killed-off? What should Brook Lynn to about Chase’s interest in Willow and trying to get her out of prison for a crime he feels she did not commit? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

Drew is such a vile, pathetic man. He’s almost repulsive enough to cause me to stop watching. I want him to finally pay for his actions.

I agree with McShirls assistment of Drew. I hope Ned pulls through and runes Drew. He needs to go back to jail for robbing Tracy of her belongs, and for what he has done to the kids.

Agree!! Boring story line now. Writers open up something with valentine and all those crooks again…!!! Or I will stop watching after 55 years off.and in

((((Shudder))))

I can guarantee that Ned is not being killed off. Valentini’s first name is not Jill. He would not kill two Quartermaines two months apart.

They made a key point to say Tracy is out of town. Jane Elliot has been front burner for the past 8 weeks. Ned’s medical emergency will likely be wrapped up by the time she returns.

How times have changed… just two years ago, Ned had a brain injury from rushing at the MC pool to help Drew learn who framed him with the SEC. Drew certainly didn’t return the favor.

Would be funny when he wakes up in the hospital and pretends he’s Eddie Maine to pull a joke on Liv & BLQ.

Good points and yes that would be funny.

No!!! If they don’t soon get rid of drew, there are a lot of people planning on never watching general hospital again!!!!!!!

Drew makes it interesting! Great actor!

He is a good actor ! It’s the story that is now a real drag.

Yes, he makes me sick. Another bad politician, but it’s getting old!! Kill him off and take Willow with him. About some happiness on this show. Narcissist writers. Tired of it !!

I have quit watching GH after watching it since 1985. I can’t stand Drew and Willow. I know they will exonerate Willow. Drew will frame Michael, and Michael will go to prison. I think Sidwell shot Drew, but everyone thinks Michael did. I am afraid Willow and Drew will get full custody of the kids and shut Michael out of their lives. I don’t want to see vile, narcissist characters win.

Especially right now given what is going on with the current administration. Tired of the bad guys winning.

I really hope they are not killing off Ned.

I don’t think Ned will die hes too important I think Gio will come rushing out to save him——-No one will ever know drew caused his pain —and now will Tracy know where her possessions are? Thats THEFT in my eyes. Lets hope Willow never gets her kids and drew is locked up forever. I hope Michael is innocent. Enjoyed Ronnie wish she could have stayed—loved her on One Life To Live. This show has me jumping!!!

Don’t care for story line with Willow and Chase.

Me either Sandi. I sincerely hope weeping Willow does not come between Chase and Brook Lynn.

Neither do I.

Ned did have a heart attack, but they better not kill him off. Thankfully Gio and Emma will find him and get him to GH. If Ned doesn’t survive and Drew gets away with this, the fans will be outraged.

Ned was right. Drew never knew Alan, Edward, Lila, AJ, or Emily. The only memory he has of the family are Jason’s memories, assuming he still has those memories. Drew has no emotional ties to the Quartermaines, which is why he can be so heartless with the threats to destroy the family crypt and steal their heirlooms. All Drew cares about is revenge but he will lose this fight too.
He lost the house, failed to tear down the crypt, and failed to setup Tracy for drugging him. He may have taken Willow from Michael, but she hates him and is only using him to get her kids back.

The show refuses to acknowledge that Drew still has Jason’s memories and none of his own upbringing.

Best tagline ever ! “Willow the wrecking ball”.

I think Willow should stay in prison she’s a home wrecker

Well, “home wrecker” is a term that is applied to the other woman or man. In this case, Drew is the home wrecker.

Ironically, it was in his own home (technically at that point Monica’s house that Alan gave to her) that wrecking occurred.

Being a home wrecker doesn’t mean you should be in prison.

Oh, please let Ned survive.

This proves that either the old drew is gone forever or this is not the real Drew. The 2921 Drew would never let that happen to Ned and would try to save him , I still say this is not Drew

Maybe thats what Willow is trying to do——-play off of Chases old feelings for her just to get her kids back——-I don’t think BrookLynn will stand for Willow loving her man LOL she will make a visit to that prison VERY soon and then Kerpow fireworks will explode between her and Chase and thats the end to that marriage. So sad. I wish Tracy was around but she has seemed to have taken a sudden vacation—–what bores me most is the storyline about Josh and Jack and this Gov’t stuff. Please let Michael be innocent—Happy Thanksgiving All——

Drew makes me sick how could he leave someone and just walk away. Please sick of seeing Drew need to let him go .Chase is literally destroying his marriage.

If he leaves Brook Lynn for Willow then they should write him and her of the show. He needs his behind kicked.

I think Michael planted Edward’s gun in Willow’s room, however, I still think she shot Drew. Michael was parked outside of Drew’s house when he was shot. He saw Willow flee the scene. Willow, who knows the ins and outs of the Q mansion and how to avoid the security cameras, put the gun back in cabinet. When she was told the gun was found in her room, she said,” That’s impossible.”

Drew has got to go. He’s enough to make me stop watching. Got enough of “Drew” in real life. Willow is pathetic and where is Kevin?

Yeah… whomever shoots Drew the next time should aim better. Let the Quartermaines be thankful to be rid of him. And let my dragons be thankful for a nice dinner.

It can be a happy PizzaGiving for all!

@Karen, Kevin is dead!!! It wasn’t Ryan who died, it was Kevin. And “Kevin” left for a “work conference” as per the usual and Ryan now has Maxie!!! Poor Felicia!!!

And, Mac is now in a panic room sporting a stray jacket thanks to his bro. Paybacks a bitch! Kevin is waiting for Felicia to come see her comatose daughter, Maxie.

Once Felicia takes off, Nathan snatches James! It’s up to Georgie to save the day… after-all, she’s the new head of the WSB!

Kevin isn’t dead. He just got a brain injury and is living in a suburb of Washington DC, thinking he’s a poor imitation of Sonny Corinthos.

Im Sick of the Producer Frank Valentine the way he has been putting the show in the direction this drew issue get rid of it already & just like the sigwell saga its time to leave team sunny alone & to start courting sunny & Justine the DA they would make a great husband & wife or she has a sunny’s baby

I’m sick of Willow and sick of Drew.

I wish GH would kill drew off

First of all, they are wasting time with who shot Drew. His daughter Scout shot her dad. Dump this storyline and move on.

I think Scout could have shot her dad too.chase is so stupid.Brooklynn needs to wake up and smell the coffee.willow and drew is getting on my last nerves.new Michael is hot

I’m all those who threaten to stop watching if drew doesn’t get his just rewards it’s time he’s due come on people!

I am so over Drew, he cannot be everywhere and know everything. I hope GH takes care of this soon because I’m over it, as other viewers. Send Drew to prison… Do something asap!!!! I hope Wally is staying, love him! And get the Qs stuff back to the mansion!!!! We’re sick of seeing Drew and I don’t care who shot him already. I can’t even watch Cameron on movies, I’m sorry for that but it’s the truth. And get him fired from Congressman, he doesn’t even do anything but terrorize every single person but Willow, ugh. Get proof she was stalking Daisy as well.

Talk about Drew!!! LOL Porcha is another one who should be in jail by now and instead shes still running a hospital!! I hope Curtis ends up with Jordan they are a good honest couple—–Curtis doesn’t deserve lying Porcha—and I hope that baby? Isn’t Curtis’s !!!! LOL They keep Drew around to keep us jumping with excitement and anger too!! For a Congressman he sure isn’t too busy in Washington is he!! Long live GH I love it.

It seems like it’s turning into the Drew shit show, that needs to end,no one wants it anymore and people will stop watching.

I liked the story line of Tracy and Ronnie Those two can really go at each other I’m sorry to see it end and now I am super disappointed that Chase is helping Willow it makes me feel as if he still has feelings for her, Poor Brook Lynn she better keep an eye on these two and I think? Because of Willow? There will never be a baby for Chase and Brook. So sad.

I can’t believe they are spending SO much time on these teenagers who walked into the Lab——-I actually shut the TV off when they were questioning Charlotte & Jasons son—–Yes it was that boring!! I’m thinking its Thanksgiving time and alot are off on their holiday vacations so these kids are filling in the empty spots. If you notice——-alot are missing. I don’t like Drew but I do have to agree with him on one thing—–Jason’s son IS a troublemaker and wait until he hears about this——-he’ll never ever be allowed near Scout. What happened to Anna? One minute they show her kidnapped now they don’t show her at all. Probably visiting family in England. Lets hope it gets better or I’m going to NAP instead!!!

Vacations have nothing to do with what stories are currently on. With their block shooting method, some of these scenes may have been filmed anywhere from 3-8 weeks ago.

Is it me or is Carly just as sleezy as her daughter LOL She keeps running after Jack instead of Jack running after her!!! I guess she forgot Jason!!! Will someone please tell Elizabeth to stop closing her eyes as she talks—–its so annoying.

Carly is out to destroy Jack for recruiting Joss to the WSB. She’s not “running after” him.

Everyone is missing—–No drew or Tracy——–I think Laura is in trouble——She is holding a big dirty secret which could get her fired from her job and its killing her——–Thank God for Sonny’s help———-but her brother is on her trail———Rocco is being beaten—-wait until his mother finds out where ever she is——I don’t like holiday times—-then every one disappears. Happy Thanksgiving all. Stay safe

Roccos bruises sure healed fast LOL and WHAT is Willow doing? Moving in with Drew again? I’m getting BORED of her back and forth game with him——-lets get the story done with and thats it zzzzzzz Our next couple? Cody and Molly ^5 very romantic dance loved it.

Hopefully this week all the missing people will finally return and again—-make GH interesting. I’ve kind of had it with the Rocco story. Willow is so silly back with Drew—-but I think shes doing it mainly to get her kids back and if she does she will not marry Drew but say Adios.I hope Chase is not falling in love with Willow again——-hes breaking BrookLynns heart already———Tracey where are you!!!!????

Well——–Willow is finally married—–Lets see what she has up her sleeve because she doesn’t act as if shes in love with Drew. I’m surprised at Michael he should be at home with those kids instead of with the Hooker. I think he knows hes losing them to Willow. Poor Curtis being blamed for nothing and Trina has turned into a Vulture. Wait until she finds out Mommy Dearest is playing around and doesn’t even KNOW whose baby that is!!! LOL By the way that was the most pathetic wedding I ever did see LOL Long Live General Hospital.

Dante needs to chill out hes being a little too troubling. Poor Gio is feeling unwanted. That whole family is confused. Will Tracy ever come back? I sure miss her. And Maxie too I thought she was suppose to have returned in NOV.? Happy Holidays All. Stay safe!!!

Kevin came back!!!!!! Just in time to help his wife——-she is in deep trouble and I think so is Sonny—Sidwell has them in a picture at the scene of the crime—–the body in the trunk of Laura’s car—-If she doesn’t clear herself soon—-there goes her Mayor job. I don’t know who to hate more—-Drew or Sidwell !!! LOL I think alot of surprises ahead!!!!

Its kind of scary now with Charlottes father on the run & everyone is locking their doors——I think when they catch him he’ll be shot and killed off. Just my guess. What happened to Maxie? She moved to Tenn and was suppose to come back in NOV but nothing yet ,Its the holidays and alot are still missing I hope they come back soon. Its rather boring right now, Help!! I’m falling asleep before its over!!!

Rest in Peace “Luke: from GH——Great actor and I will always remember the famous wedding with Laura—-My Opinion—Jack is taking over GH making it boring and for him to depend on Josh a girl who has no experience is a joke. I’m glad Tracy came back now we can laugh again.—-Michael is so worried about his kids yet all hes doing is hanging around with this ex hooker——-who exactly is taking care of them? And to have Nina catch them almost having sex in HER office isn’t going to be good for him—This show has me going in circles.

Willow is guilty!!!!! <clapping> I kneeeeew it!!!

WHAT a shocker——–Laura’s husband left General Hospital to be on “Beyond The Gates” soap opera———why would he? This is a brand new soap opera——–so——-hes really not in Ireland with Ace after all LOL

I’ll be honest——-General is jumping all over the place with storylines lately———that I actually fell asleep watching it———and thats not me. It goes on 3 pm here and I woke up close to 4:30——I said “what happened to the Soap”? LOL Anna is looking so old and unattractive—-I noticed her and Alexis’s dentures are protruding thru their skinny faces lately .These people are REALLY aging quickly. Looks like Willow gets away again—–I can’t believe Michael is going to let this murderer near his kids. And? Alexis knows the truth too. Don’t think I’ll be watching this much longer——-I lost my interest.

No one who has been in a Coma for 6 months wakes up the way Maxie did. That was so ridiculous I just had to shut it off.—-someone does not know how to write over there. Good Bye General Hospital you just lost a long time fan.

2/20 Why did we have to have a whole show about Luke? Hes been gone for how many years? I shut it off. This soap is really getting boring.

That Carly is something else. I can’t believe who she is getting involved with now!!! She is asking for so much trouble. But——I guess thats Carly for you. I read where Jason is getting kidnapped——–and Chase is leaving. Wow big changes,

I know where Jason went———-He took a leave of absence to go home and be with his new wife and family in TENN. He should be back possibly around June. Did not expect Marco to leave. But I’ll tell you all——–he made a lousy dead person laying on that table. I saw his chest going up and down LOL Summer is coming I expect the young ones like Danny and Rocco to leave for some unexplained reason so they can enjoy the Summer off. General Hospital is not the same, They really “done it” this time.

Nathan is certainly not Jason material. Rocco seems like he will be caught very soon. Sonny needs to retire he looks ill and doesn’t fit the mobster gang leader anymore—Unbelievable how Carly passes herself around .Jordan looks awfully swollen—I wonder why—LuLu needs a job—I almost fall asleep watching this soap now—The old timers are leaving and the new ones just don’t give the show that zing that its missing——–My Oh My Molly cool off!!! If he says no its no!!

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Published

By

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

Photo: JPI

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

Photo: PGibbons

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Admits That He Didn’t Expect the Role of Michael Corinthos to be Recast, and Would Consider Working on Another Soap (Exclusive)

Published

on

By

Chad Duell, the Daytime Emmy-winning actor, who stepped away from the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, opened up about: his previous decision to leave the series after nearly 15 years, where’s he’s at now after time away from the demands of a daytime soap opera, and took a stroll down memory lane with some of Michael’s most-acclaimed storyline during his run, during a livestream chat on August 19 on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel.

Viewers last saw Duell on-screen as Michael in January of 2025, and with his successor in the role, Rory Gibson making his debut at the GH Nurses’ Ball in episodes that aired later in May. It was clear that during the conversation, Chad was a bit surprised that the GH brass decided to recast him when he thought he was just taking some much needed time off.

Burn-out of the daily grind of being on a soap was definitely a part of Chad’s decision to take a break. Duell explained “People know when you’re doing something for so long or your character is kind of in the same place for so long or doing the same stuff over and over again, you do get a a little burnt out, you get a little stiff, stale, a little stiff at times. I didn’t want that to be any sort of lasting impression. I have 15 years of a body of work of I’ve done on that show, which is fantastic.”

WHILE CHAD WAS AWAY GH RECAST MICHAEL CORINTHOS WITH RORY GIBSON

Chad shared, his mindset when leaving GH was, “I’m taking some time away, we’ll see what happens.” Then he added, “Obviously, they decided to go in a different direction with Michael when I was gone. I didn’t think they were going to bring somebody back in my place. But you know, it’s the business. You never know what can happen.”

Duell also shared he has not watched a single episode of General Hospital since he left the series, but now feels he reenergized following the loss of his father and stepping away from the GH, “I’m in a place now mentally, where I’m ready to sink my teeth into it again.”

Courtesy/ABC

Even though he is no longer Michael on GH, Chad was very happy with his final storyline where Michael was set on fire when a bomb exploded at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. “It was fun to put him in a dangerous situation, because I was wanting Michael to be in something scary instead of trying to be a hero character or just things happening around him, but to be the center point of tragedy happening to him. (I always saw) Michael as the heart of the (Corinthos) family.”

When Michael was badly burned the show chose not burn his face, which normally a soap does when they are recasting role and switching actors. Chad weighed-in, “They didn’t burn my face because I told Frank Valentini (EP, GH) I’m willing to come back. It was just a little bit of a break. So, I assumed that if they would have burned my face, they could have brought somebody back looking different than me… if that’s what their plan was.”

MEMORABLE MICHAEL STORYLINES

One of Chad’s most memorable performances was the in the storyline of Michael’s rape while he was sentenced to prison in 2010 and the confession of it in 2011. “It was so well-written and I was very nervous,” recalled Chad. “When I get really nervous about something, it ends up being really good when I do it, because it just means I care a lot about it”

“I have to put a lot of effort and work into it, and I really want it to be good.  I was working with Dominic  Zamprogna (Dante) and Steve Burton (Jason) a lot during those scenes, and Laura Wright (Carly). It was great working with Steve and Dominic, especially, during that storyline.

A NEW SOAP ROLE FOR CHAD?

As to a future soap opera role, Chad is open to the idea and would love to jump back in to a juicy role, “I know people over at The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. They know that if they’re interested, I would love to come in for a screen test or something, and they can see what I’m doing.”

Meanwhile, Chad has been busy putting out new music under the moniker Duelly and during the interview he explains how he creates his EDM tracks and much more. You can stream his latest single, Static in the Quiet Room on Spotify, Apple Music and You Tube Music.

You can check out the full conversation with Chad Duell below.

Now let us know: what show would you like to see Chad cast on down the line? BTG, DAYS, B&B, Y&R, or a new role on GH? What did you think of his thoughts on the casting switch while he was away in the role of Michael? What was your favorite Michael storyline during Chad’s 15-year run on the ABC soap opera? GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ric’s History of Jealousy Where Elizabeth is Concerned Has Come Back Around

Published

on

By

Ric

On General Hospital, Ric Lansing (Rick Heart) is about to fall back into dangerous old patterns by the foreshadowing during the Wednesday, August 19 episode. After first coming to see his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and telling him of his plan to propose to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) his longtime love tonight, Sonny has concerned.

Next, Sonny reminds his brother of what has happened in the past, when things have gone south with Elizabeth and wonders if it’s too soon for him to propose to her. What Ric did not tell Sonny is that he has seen the developing closeness between Sonny’s son, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth, which is propelling his urgent need to propose.

Meanwhile, Dante ran into Elizabeth at the park during a break from their mutual team softball games. She needs help with a bookcase after the game at her house. Dante wants to put it together for her. Later, Dante arrived at Elizabeth’s house, limping after injuring his knee during the game. Head nurse Liz wanted to check out the injury as much as Dante protested, which required him to take off his pants.

RIC BEGINS TO UNRAVEL

Outside Elizabeth’s widow, Ric arrives with a bouquet of roses and the engagement ring. When he leers through the widow he is shocked to see Elizabeth rubbing Dante’s leg while Dante is in his boxer/shorts. He storm troops into the house, demanding to know what is going on here? Both Elizabeth and Dante look surprised by his reaction. In the pick-up of today’s Thursday, August 20 episode (see GH video teaser below), viewers will learn the upshot for all three characters.

A VENGEFUL PAST

As longtime GH fans know, Ric has done some horrible, vengeful things in regards to Elizabeth starting back in 2003 after she lost her baby after Ric’s ex, Faith Rosco pushed her down a flight of stairs. Ric accused Sonny for the accident and to get revenge, Ric kidnapped Carly (who was married to Sonny at the time), and stashed her in a panic room below the house where he was living with Liz.

On top of that, Ric fed his wife Elizabeth birth control pills to keep her from getting pregnant so that they could raise Carly’s baby together after it was born. Eventually, Elizabeth found Carly in the panic room but ended up having a pulmonary embolism. When she woke up in the hospital, Elizabeth was all confused by what happened, and Ric convinced her that her vision of  Carly was just a bad dream. Eventually, Elizabeth learned the horrifying truth and divorced Ric.

Years later, Ric noticed the connection between Elizabeth and “Jake Doe” who eventually turned out to be Drew (Billy Miller) A jealous Ric hired Hayden Barnes to show up and claim to be “Jake’s” wife. Elizabeth stepped aside, and when Ric planned to propose to Elizabeth at the 2015 Nurses Ball, Carly exposed his manipulations, and Elizabeth dumped him yet again. And those are just two examples of the lengths Ric will go to for Elizabeth!

So, we ask you, given the history of Elizabeth and Ric, how do you see this playing out with Dante in the picture? How will Ric derail their growing bond? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
