GENERAL HOSPITAL: Peter August Taunts Anna; What Did You Think of the Return of Wes Ramsey?
The “Faison Fest” continued on the Friday, January 23 episode of General Hospital when a drugged out Anna (thanks to Pascal and company) hallucinates that she is being visited, while being held captive, by the man she left to die, Faison’s evil son, and her nephew, Peter August.
Wes Ramsey returned to play the scenes where Peter digs at, and taunts Anna (Finola Hughes) to the point she is beside herself. GH fans have not seen Wes on their screens since back in 2022. Ramsey had almost five-year run on the soap debuting back in 2017.
GH viewers recall major scenes 4 years ago, when after Felicia (Kristina Wagner) struck Peter from behind with a tire iron, Anna let Peter die in the snow instead of calling for an ambulance. This was after years of Peter terrorizing those she loved and in particular, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). And, as it was eventually revealed, Peter is the son of Anna’s twin sister, Alex with Faison (Anders Hove).

The return of Peter aka Henrik Faison, came after Pascal (Marc Forget), Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) have concocted a diabolical plan to keep Anna off balance, so they can keep working and finishing Faison’s final mystery project that must be a huge cash cow for them! Previously, Anna was also taunted by the voice of Faison pumped through the loudspeakers, where he said, he is not ready to show himself just yet, which was repeated by Peter on yesterday’s episode.
Peter said, that Faison has waited so long to show himself to her. However, it is almost time for his father to reveal himself. Freaking out, Anna demanded to see Faison right there and then, but Peter claimed that his father would appear when he was ready. Anna screamed out to Faison, “Show me your face. Just come here!”
Speaking on his one-day appearance, and if he would be up for more, Ramsey told TV Insider, “Peter was certainly a controversial figure in the world of GH lore. I’m always open to anything that comes along in the future.”
Given that Faison’s other children, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) are alive and well, could it be that Peter is too and this was not a figment of Anna’s imagination, or is this gaslighting just going to continue until Anna has a complete mental breakdown?
With Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) begging Nathan for help to find her grandmother, is this the moment where it could be revealed that Nathan is in cahoots with Pascal, Sidwell, and Cullum? Do you think now that Kirsten Storms is back taping all-new episodes as Maxie, that she will be the one to figure out this is not the man she married, if indeed it’s proven that Nathan is someone else? Food for thought.
Meanwhile, Days of our Lives fans know that Wes showed up in the winter preview for the soap opera last November, wearing a hoodie and could be revealed as Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) stalker when his return starts on all-new episodes on Peacock. Ramsey previously played the role of Owen Kent on the show back in 2009. So, stay tuned!
So, what did you think of the return of Wes Ramsey to GH as Peter August? Were you shocked to see him standing there? Share you thoughts on the story and more via the comment section.
Frank Valentini must really hate the GH audience. Just when we all think we get a break with the absence of Dragon Chow Drew (however sadly temporary that might be) suddenly the “Ghost of Whiny Heiny” appears on the screen to torment all of us.
Of course this was all part of whatever bad drug trip Anna is on, at the hands of Sidwell and his new Legion of Dumb/ WSB “dark sider” boss Cullum. The real Whiny Heiny is still down here in Hell, cleaning the dragon stables. And trust me, he’s not going anywhere! (Except for Salem, but don’t get a Devil started on that one)
Also… why did Hallucination Heiny have some weird accent that actual Heiny never had before??
Thank goodness it was only a one-day return. Many breathed a sigh of relief when it was announced Ramsey was joining DAYS, I guess the joke was on us.
While we’re at it, let’s have Anna remember other nemesis through the years (Grant Putnam, Olivia Jerome).
I am not enjoying Anna being tormented by hallucinations. I am also very uncomfortable with Emma and Gio asking Nathan for help. I think Nathan is part of the Sidwell gang.
Me either. It’s got to end soon. I don’t want a replication of Lucky. Looks like Skipper Jax might rescue Anna.
Skipper Jacks – good one Harry.
I’m so ready to see this torture storyline end. It’s so dark and so sickening to see a strong heroine being destroyed in such gruesome way. I have to wonder how long it will take Anna to recover once it’s over. You just can’t bounce back in a month’s time.
And are all these villainous returns Anna’s imagination or is someone wearing Faison’s rubber masks? maybe they should open a store for Halloween costumes.
Just hope it’s all over soon.
Why can’t Dex be one of her visitors? That would cheer her up and it would cheer me up. He was a great cop.
Anna would be… you look kind of familiar. Remind me of your name again.
It’s time to go therapy.
Trust the Devil on this one. Faison and Whiny Heiny have long since been digested after being turned into dragon chow. I’d bet my well formed cloven hooves that Dragon Chow Drew will soon join them in the steaming excrement pile up down here in Hell.
Well… at least your imitation is improving. But please, get a life.
I didn’t like his return….this whole storyline is stupid …a better one is Valentin rescuing Anna and discovering what is going on at Windamere and Sidwell and all including son and Lucas…just because he is there… arrested… Valentin is exonerated and he and Anna get back together and the Fashion gang including WSB director go to prison forever
I hate this storyline.
Same. It’s kind of joyless.
Ugh. Must we endure this? I’m sure Wes is a lovely person but I don’t want to see Peter-Heinrik. What happened to Valentin? Have Valentin find and rescue Anna. This is reminding me of the Sasha misery porn days.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
