GENERAL HOSPITAL: Tracy Finds Monica’s Will, Just as Ronnie is About to Sign Over the House to Drew
There have been so many touching moments portrayed by General Hospital’s Jane Elliot as the displaced Tracy Quartermaine now must face her grief, as she sits in Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) house overcome by all the boxes of Quartermaine heirlooms, photos, and more knowing that the Q mansion is about to be sold by Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) to Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
Now on the Friday, October 31 episode of the ABC daytime drama series, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) stops by to talk to Tracy about some real estate properties, as the talk turns to Tracys’s brother Alan Quartermaine, plus her parents, Edward and Lila Quartermaine. Lucy sees how badly, Tracy misses her family, and tells her she needs to stop pushing people away and that she should talk to people who knew her family as well.
Tracy points to the boxes and says this is all that’s left of her parents and brother. Lucy reminds Tracy that her memories are in her heart and not symbolized by the house. In the end, Tracy tells Lucy that she can show her some houses.

Ronnie comes to Bobbie’s, and mistakes Jack (Chris McKenna) for “Joey!” in an inside wink-wink to One Life to Life. Next, Carly (Laura Wright) meets Ronnie and is disapproving of her kicking her son, Michael (Rory Gibson) out of the Q mansion and selling the house to Drew. Ronnie tries to explain she needs to let the house go and move, but now Gio (Giovanni Mazza) overhears her.
Next, Ronnie explains she intended to try to make a go of a life in Port Charles and living in her sister’s house, but the cash offer she couldn’t turn down. Gio reminds her that Monica banned Drew from the Qs because of his behavior. A very sad Ronnie says everything is in motion. Gio asks her to please reconsider the sale because Monica deserved better than having Drew own the place.

Later, when Ronnie gets back to the mansion, Michael is waiting for her. He says (and we have heard this often from the new version of Michael), “I can pay you more,” or “double what Drew offered.” He then begs Ronnie not to sell the house. That’s when six-time Daytime Emmy winner, remind us yet again, why she is a legend. Ronnie turns to Michael with tears in her eyes and says the deal is done. Michael tries to reason with Ronnie, and hat Monica would not want her sanctuary owned by Drew.
Suddenly, Ronnie clues in Michael, and admits she’s in way over her head and she has to sell the house to Drew, which now pique’s Michael’s curiosity as to what is being held over her head. Before she gets a chance to spill the beans, Drew and Martin (Michael E. Knight) show up ‘twirling their mustaches.” Drew starts to egg Michael. Ronnie get angry and tell him to back-off. Michael pleads with Ronnie to not sign the papers, but Ronnie insists through her tears that the house has to go to Drew.

Meanwhile, as Drew wants Ronnie to sign on the dotted line, Tracy FINALLY comes upon Monica’s last will and testament inside one of the boxes of belongings from the Quartermaines. She is shocked! We fade to black.
So, what did you think of the performances on Friday’s GH featuring Jane Elliot and Erika Slezak? How do you think this will resolve? Will Tracy show up with Monica’s legitimate will and kick both Ronnie and Drew out of the mansion? Will she figure out Martin is behind the entire scheme, and what happens to Ronnie, since we know Erika Slezak is only on GH for a short-term run, which she already completed some time ago? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section, but first, check out a moment from the scenes between Tracy and Lucy on Friday’s GH below.
Well, it seems all too predictable now, but now that Tracy has seen the real will, and Ronnie is clearly NOT wanting to sign the mansion over to Dragon Chow Drew, what we’re likely to see on Monday is Ronnie hesitating just long enough (and being threatened by Drew and Marty) for Tracy to drive over to the mansion with the real will in her hands. And hopefully the rest of the family will show up just in time to see the show.
Now will it show Michael as the true owner of the mansion (as most of the Quartermaines assumed would be the case) or will there be another twist where Tracy herself is named as Monica’s true designated heir?
Remember that the wording of the fake will said “My sister of the heart…..” which would have been a weird thing to say about a biological sister you hadn’t seen in over 50 years. But would be exactly what Monica would say about Tracy who is NOT a biological relation, but had become a “sister” to her in every other way over the decades.
So if the only thing Marty did to alter the will was to move some names around, and not change any of the other language, it seems logical that Tracy will get the house and not Michael.
And I’m sure Michael will be totally fine with that. As long as Tracy lets him keep the gate house.
Even if Ronnie signs the new will should negate her ownership and her right to sale
Tracy definitely deserves the house after all these years.
Maybe we’ll get a weird twist where Lucy gets the house and signs it over to Tracy? ( That definitely would be Must See Soap TV! )
The 2 ladies gave a master class in acting as usual. Hope Miss Slezak comes back for another visit. I do miss Chad as Michael, Rory is way to stiff.
I agree about the differences between Chad and Rory, but I am enjoying Rory’s “dark Michael” more than Chad’s “upright Michael”. The darkness really adds what was missing in the character, in my opinion.
Agree!
Agree
I also agree. Even when Chad was trying to. Play mean Michael, the good guy always came through. Rory plays a much deeper range of the character and seems more appropriate to the part as Sonny’s son .
Totally agree. Like the new Molly does a great job where the original Molly who I truly did like I don’t think could pull off in acting what the Molly now can do, because she will always be the young Molly with young TJ.
Right. the darkness signifies passion. Michael is passionate about protecting his children from Drew. He lights up when interacting with his children, moreover, he’s the best male cryer on daytime. I also noticed he lights up when interacting with Jacinta.
Love what Rory and the writers are doing with Michael. He reads like a true Quartermaine.
Although he’s 8 years younger than Chad, Rory is portraying a more mature Michael with a lot of depth to his character.
I actually prefer Rory to Chad. He seems more Quartermaine like for sure.
Chad seemed too meek and mild. He didn’t do nasty believable.
The one time Chad did nasty well was the short period after it was revealed that Sonny killed AJ and Carly helped cover it up. That was the year Chad won his Emmy.
Hey Harry. I recall your post that you had hope Jacinta would be sticking around and that you enjoy the character. I now agree with you fully.. she is one to watch.
Right? She’s charismatic and she has a good chemistry with Michael. She brightens him up and he could use that after dealing with dreary Willow. I also liked her scenes with Nina.
Yes!!!!
I Totally Agree‼️
No offense I totally disagree. This Michael is sooo much better
Heck yes but I one thought no one could replace Michael. I was so wrong !!
Michael, I agree with you. He’s way too wooden and emotionless. For instance, does he ever smile?!?! Maybe they’re trying to show how much he’s been influenced by Jason. I have temporarily tuned in to see Slezak, but that’s one thing that I noticed.
Emotionless? He’s a champion cryer rivaling that Finola Hughes. Sure, he is a brooder but he grins ear to ear in his scenes with his kids. And also, with Jasinda. I’ll take him over Elmer Fudd any day.
I know I wasn’t thrilled about Chad leaving but after seeing Rory in the role, I have to admit that he plays the part with more maturity than Chad. He also portrays the “Corinthos darkness” fabulously! I REALLY WANT ERIKA SLEZAK TO BE WRITTEN IN. Hopefully the writers will see how much the fans enjoy her character and most of the family will accept her as they see that Drew and Martin blackmailed her just like many before her.
I love Rory Gibson his dark side and the passion when it comes to his children. Great pairing with Jacinda not to mention how damned handsome Rory Gibson is!
I agree that Rory’s portrayal of Micheal has much more depth than Chad. Chad was white milk while Rory is a fine aged red wine. I like Micheal with Jacinta but I want Sasha back. Dante needs to find the evidence against Willow to permit Sasha and Daisy to come home. Especially since the will be dedicating episodes to Robert/Tristan’s death. His death would surely send Sasha back to Micheal.
This Michael is acting like his cold misunderstood biological father AJ Quartermane
I hope that Ronnie gets to tell the truth that Martin found her she is Monica’s sister and he kidnapped her daughter and told her if she didnt do this she would put her daughter in danger and Ronnie shows her actual proof so the Anna shows up with Dante and chase and cops arrests drew and Martin Tracy should say Ronnie after all this was a victim and we need to find her daughter where is she Martin
I liked Chad but LOVE RORY! He is an AMAZING ACTOR!
Gee.. could you add a 2 or something to your name please? I have been using “GH fan” foe years but will now go by “OG GH fan”. Many long term posters sort of know each other.
Top notch acting from both legends.
It’s a training for the A listers of Hollywood today
I miss Chad’s character as Michael well. Rory is good in his role, but Cory is the true Michael to many fans & followers. I think Monica was going to give Tracy the mansion since she was with her so long, sister of the heart, I hope is in the real Will!
Who.is Cory???
Outback saves the day.. at least for a little bit
Nothing against the old Michael but the new one is so good looking whether smiling or brooding. He really adds to the show. He & Jacinda have great chemistry and it’s time the show add romantic scenes that really sends sparks!!Finally!!
Drew is a giant pain but he plays a villain to the fullest extent and every show needs a villain. Maybe the show can put him in a suit coat that’s not too tight to go visit Willow.
I really like Carly with Jack but it was a nice touch of humor that Ronnie called him Joey since Jack played Joey with Erica Slezak on One Life to Live as her son.
Can’t wait for Tracy to wipe the smug look off of Drew’s face over the will. And I think Marty may just be heading to prison for fraud. Funny when I actually hoped he would get with Tracy. HA! Maybe Laura will send him a hummingbird pie in prison. NOT!!
I agree. I love the bickering between Tracy and Martin and wanted to see more of it resulting in them as a couple. I’d also like to see Kevin back to support Laura when her mother’s death is portrayed.
Jon Lindstrom that played Kevin Collins is now Joey Armstrong on Beyond The Gates.
He is not under contract with BTG, so he can do both, like Wally Kurth does.
Lindstrom was spotted at the on-set Emmy GH after party. The show also wished him a happy birthday on social media- something they only do for active cast members. So, odds are Kevin returns for a bit before year end.
I think Tracy will get there in the nick of time to save the day! Have thoroughly enjoyed Ms Slezak’s appearance on GH and sad it has to end. Such a beautiful, wonderful actress! I loved her little “Joey” nod to OLTL. I thought she and Mr McKenna were precious!
Ericka Slezak is Absolutely Priceless ❤️ I have Loved her Entire Career (Victoria Lord) she was Amazing!! Now as Monica’s sister Ronnie Bard she is still an Amazing Actress I Love her and I’m going to Really miss her What a Tribute to Monica (Leslie Charleston)
Agreed
I think Drew Barrymore is very talented but her show is a bit xra,y and not award worthy.
I TOTALLY AGREE.
I have been watching before Luke & Laura got married but lately just skip a lot of the scenes!!!! I am sooooo over Drew he is NOT like the real Drew & a disservice to Billy!!! . I fast forward every time Drew is on!!!! I’m not into Sidwell either, what the writers think is interesting is not for me. Bring back Scotty, more Liesel she is funny!!! Please do better.
Amen To That.
Drew is horrible make me want to change channels and ” young lady” been watching GH since Love of Life and Search forTomorrow were on. I was 17 when Young and the Restless premiered and have watched all the episodes I can since that 1st show. We must be from the same era because we think alike lol
Ronnie needs to become a regular would love to watch her and Tracy interact it’s so good. She’d make a great addition to GH
I totally agree! Erica would make a great addition!
Erika lives in Connecticut and in her late 70s has no desire to commute to LA on even a semi-regular basis. We could hope for an annual multi-week visit, but it doesn’t seem likely.
The actors who play Tracy and Ronnie both deserve an acting award. Their emotions were raw and fabulous! The tough choice though goes to Erika Slezak. Being yanked in so many directions she played them all superbly. I hope she is eventually shown how she was duped into an impossible situation and pray she returns, even if even in a part time position. She adds so much richness General hospital needs in sane advice from a wise elder person.
Not a contest – They would be in different categories if they submitted. Jane Elliot (Tracy) would be up for Supporting Actress. Erika Slezak (Ronnie) would submit for Guest Performer.
Keep Erica on the show, but she needs to explain that Drew & Martin were Black mailing her, and Tracy gets there just in time before Ronnie signs anything! Exposes Drew & Martin, keeps the home, but get Drew OUT OF CONGRESS!!!!
I absolutely love Jane Elliott! I think she is an awesome actress! She puts her all into every scene she’s involved in!
Yes
It was a joy watching Jane Elliot and ericka slezack working together. They are both super stars. I just cant wait to see the look on Marin’s and Drew’s faces when Tracy shows up. I have my buttered popcorn and pepsi waiting. Yesssssssss
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ERIKA SLEZAK STAY ON G.H.SHE IS A WONDERFUL ACTRESS!
I want the original actor back who has played Michael for years!
With the good reviews Rory has been getting, the role is his for years to come.
Chad did not originate the role. Michael was played for years by a child actor (Dylan Cash) and then for a short period by Drew Garrett, who was featured in last week’s episode of Law & Order SVU.
I hope Tracey gets there in time before Ronnie signs the paperwork. I want the truth to come out but I don’t want Ronnie to go to jail. Marty needs to go to jail for lying and changing the will. And throw Drew out the house for good. I don’t like this Drew and what he has become.
Yes yes yes.
I was praying that they let Erica Slezak stay on the show, her and Tracy make a great team together and it would be good if they can get back at Martin for what he did and Drew.
I so agree. There are fewer and fewer Veteran actors on the soaps now and the younger actors can definitely learn valuable lessons from them. I love Jane and Erika and have watched them since the 1970’s. They are two of the best.
I was hoping that they let Erica Slezak, stay on the show her and Tracy Jane Elliott make a good team and all of them can get back at Martin and Drew. Seeing Ronnie and Tracy clash was the best thing they ever could do to that show.
Well , Ericka Slezak is marvelous as Tonnie. She plays perfect part for her !! A match for Tracy , not afraid to speak up to Drew and Martin. I love Rory. I love Michael. He’s perfect for the part. Outstanding job as they all are doing right now. Andrew is rotten as his part is he is doing a great job and yes, we all do not like him at all proving he’s doing it right. Now for SONNY he best stay on the show as long as possible and prove his longevity in the business, he knows just how to outsmart them all again even especially our new Mr.Sitwell . Sonny will eventually take care of him I hope. There is something about Sidwell that I like. I like his cocky attitude and accent that will be cut down by sunny, but he is a different dimension kind of cast that’s already there when he enters I always want to see what he’s gonna say and do, but you can put him in his place one of these days with no problem and that’s what I’m looking forward to in the future. It’s sunny she rain again or the whole worth of the show goes to pot not the marijuana pot. Just the pot deep hole
These Ladies are two of the Best to do it when it comes to Daytime TV‼️
Rory is a more adult Michael who besides being the good guy is multi dimensional character who shows his anger at Willow and his uncle Drew for their betrayal and his love of his family the Quatermaines. He seems more like his grandfather Edward Quartermaine. Tracy Quartermaine is a marvelous actress just like Erika Slezak love their interactions. I wish Mrs Slezak could stay longer or for visits in the future. I loved Lucy showing her adult and caring side to Tracy. By the way what is Tracy’s full name?
Tracy Angelica Quartermaine. Ahead of her time, I don’t recall her ever taking any of her husbands’ names:
Larry Ashton
Mitch Williams
Paul Hornsby
Luke Spencer
Anthony Zacchara
Might have been another 1-2 when she was off the canvas or on The City.
I think Rory plays a better Michael than he did as Noah Newman on Y&R!
I agree that Tracey should be named by Monica as owning the Q Mansion, with Michael next in line to get the house if anything happens to Tracey.
Drew needs to get what’s coming to him REAL soon and afraid my original
liking of Martin has dwindled. He should have stayed Laura’s good brother.
Drew needs to Gooo in some way!! And Martin as well, crooked twosome. The real Will has to save the Q mansion, GH will Definitely Loose long time fans and followers if it Drew gets his way with the Q estate! Please make sure he doesn’t !
I think they should make Jacinda long lost Nelle who’s body was never recovered. She would get Michael back and take Wiley from Willow. Lots of story opportunities!
I think they should bring back Nell from the dead as Jacinda. Nell’s body was never recovered. Little plastic surgery and she could get Michael back and claim Wiley as her own and take him away from Willow. Many story opportunities could ensue!
Or before Tracy says, she found the real Will… Ronnie will spill & say the truth… And if she does that, the ones who were actually welcoming and nice to her Will forgive her
Of course.Tracy will get there on time. And she will blow drool out of the water. And he will be shocked. This is my favorite show of all time.I’ve been watching it most of my life.Keep up the good work guys
I am still upset you did not let Erika replace Monica. She and Jane work so well together. I hate to see her go.
While I too, hate to see Erika go, her replacing Leslie as Monica was never going to happen.
1- you don’t recast a performer who’s had the role for 45 years.
2- Erika has no desire for a full-time gig based in LA. She’s rightfully comfortable with her home life in Connecticut.
Replacing Monica just would have been wrong.
It just would have.
I think that Tracy will have a change of heart, and ask Ronnie to stay in the guest house, and get offered a job at Bobbies..

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.
Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.
As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY
Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.
Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS
Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.
In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Courtesy/ABC
Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”
So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
