In what could be a cringeworthy moment to many General Hospital fans on the Tuesday, November 25th episode of the ABC daytime drama series, Drew (Cameron Mathison) proposed to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). The moment happens after she returns back to the congressman’s house and looks mighty uncomfortable with it. Let’s not forget, Drew was shot in the back twice in said home.

Once at Drew’s, Willow shares that the house feels tainted. He counters she gives him strength. Willow says she’s worried that whoever shot him, will come back and try to finish him off. But is it her? Did she block it out, or does she know she tried to get rid of the guy? Constantly desperate to keep her children, Willow seems to maybe have a plan of her own, or she is just that gullible?

Drew believes with Alexis on her legal team she will be exonerated. Then, because he says he has so much faith in her, Drew gets down one one knee and proposes to Willow. She counters that she wants to marry him for the right reasons (not just to get custody of her children). Drew says he loves her.

Next thing you know, by the end of the episode, Willow returns to work and sees Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), and asks if she can be her maid of honor on Thanksgiving Day as she plans to marry Drew. Michael (Rory Gibson), who is at the hospital, overhears this and sees Willow showing her engagement ring to Liz, who agrees to stand up for her.  Meanwhile, Drew comes upon Liesl (Kathleen Gati), Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Ava (Maura West) at the Metr is about to tell them of his upcoming nuptials.

Elsewhere, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) pays Rocco (Finn Carr) a visit at juvenile detention, and is shocked to see his face all beat up and insists he get medical care and threatens the guard, that if Rocco gets an infection she will file a lawsuit. Rocco apologizes for breaking her trust and taking her key fob to break into Dalton’s lab. Britt promises saying she’ll help him get out of this entire mess.

Next, Britt heads to Wyndemere to confront Sidwell (Carlo Rota). She says she needs his help getting Rocco out of danger because he was roughed up. A smug Sidwell isn’t surprised to hear this. In that moment, Britt realizes Sidwell ordered the attack on Rocco.

Later, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) brings Rocco to the PCPD and he is released for the holiday. ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that Rocco’s bail hearing will be set at a later date. Lulu (Alexa Havins) is thankful to Nathan for helping her son, as it appears we may be heading for a romance between the two, but again, this version of “Nathan” doesn’t seem to be “Nathan.” Is there a big twist coming?

So, what did you think of Drew proposing marriage to Willow, and that she accepted, and that they are going to getting married over the Thanksgiving holiday? And, has Sidwell sunk to new lows by having Rocco roughed up in juvie detention? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

GH, please end this storyline. IT is HATED by the fans!

The bad news – looks like there’s a wedding on Monday.

The good news – looks like the Qs will be having Thanksgiving pizza that same day

It won’t be the same with Tracy gone, and Ned in the hospital. Now, if Tracy ends up showing and if its at the hospital w/ the rest of the Q’s then that would be a treat to see.

The good news won’t be so good if Chase thinks he’s going to try to cook the turkey. He looks like the type who would try to drop a frozen 24 lb turkey into a deep fryer.

And then blame Michael when the kitchen blew up, since that seems to be his “go to” strategy lately.

So tired of the violence and over use of guns on the show the past year. For a while GH was doing so good with corporate crime without the guns.

I’m not as bothered by Drew being a villain because I think it’s a nice change for Cameron as an actor. However, I’m sick of Weeping Willow. Give Katelyn some new material, please! I imagine she too is sick of Weeping Willow. Please end this story and change her character. I don’t care if they make Willow evil or angelic, just stop her damsel in distress, savior-craving nonsense.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ethan Burns Delilah’s Photo with a Promise in Touching Turn from Nathan Dean

General Hospital fans were reminded on the Wednesday, May 6 episode of the ABC daytime drama, just why Nathan Dean’s Ethan Lovett always had a special place in our hearts. After all, not only was he the son of the iconic Luke Spencer and Holly Sutton, but Ethan was always the guy who was great at running a con, but with a heart of gold. It was on full display in key scenes that locked Ethan back into a major storyline since Dean’s return.

Here’s what went down in the pick-up: Ethan is chatting with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) after having met baby Phoebe. The couple explain what happened to the woman they found needing medical attention, Delilah. Brook Lynn goes to explain how they tried to track down Phoebe’s family, but it proved fruitless, and now after becoming Phoebe’s foster parents, they have hopes to adopt her.

When Brook Lynn revealed how they found the unconscious Delilah, a devastated Ethan, who is trying not to let on he has any tie to the woman, asks if she had been attacked. Chase said she had no identification in her purse, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that she was hiding something.

WHAT HAPPENED TO DELILAH?

As Ethan subtlety tried to nudge Chase for more intel, he reveals that the PCPD found Delilah’s luggage, and it was full of high-end clothes and a list of art galleries, but her fingerprints did not show up on any database. Chase is convinced that Delilah was covering her tracks.

Poor Ethan is gut-wrenched as he looks at baby Phoebe, after hearing how Delilah’s life ended, and when Brook Lynn and Chase talk about how thrilled that baby Phoebe just dropped into their lives, considering they were considering adoption anyways. Ethan says, while struggling to hold back tears, that it’s very clear how much Brook Lynn and Chase love Phoebe. Later, after Ethan left, Brook Lynn tells Chase she is scared that the state will take Phoebe away from them. Chase assures her that won’t happen.

TEARS AND A VOW

Then, in the heartbreaking conclusion of the episode, an emotional Ethan heads back to the pier. In tears, he pulls a photo of Delilah out of his pocket. He cries that she should have been there for her and he apologizes, crying that his hope was for her to be safe in Port Charles.

Ethan tells Delilah that he’d seen the baby, and she is beautiful. Next, Ethan takes out his lighter, and sets fire to Delilah’s photograph promising her that he’d keep their secret to himself and no one would ever have to know.

So, what do you think the connection is between Ethan and Delilah? Was she working with him on a con? Were they at one time lovers and she had his child? Are they related? What did you think of the performance of Nathan Dean in the emotional scenes? Let us know in the comment section, but first, you can watch it again below and then weigh-in.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Ethan is Rocked at News of Delilah; Is Baby Phoebe His Child?

Published

By

The return story of Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean began to unpeel itself on all new episodes of General Hospital, when on Tuesday May 5, he is seen on the pier talking on his phone and clearly calling a woman named “Delilah,” and in what seems like concern for her, tells her on voicemail, “you need to show up.”

As viewers know, Delilah (played by Lily Cardone) was the pregnant woman that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) found on the side of a road and managed to get her to the hospital. Once at GH, Delilah died, but her baby was born. Brook Lynn and Chase then went to efforts to become the little one’s foster parents, since no other family ties for the baby girl have been found.

Their happiness at finally having a child, may be very short-lived. First, Brook Lynn is a key suspect as the other driver that may have caused the accident that burned and put disfiguring lacerations on Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) face. At that time, Brook Lynn had a bit of wine with Lucy (Lynn Herring), and had rushed out of the Quartermaine mansion to try to get to Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance with Trina (Tabyana Ali) at the reopening of Charlie’s.

Fast forward to now. Ethan turns up at the Quartermaines and runs into Brook Lynn and Chase along with baby Phoebe. Brook Lynn introduces Ethan to her husband and then they explain they are foster parents to Phoebe.

Brook Lynn then tells Ethan, that sadly, Phoebe’s mother had died, and all they knew about her was her name: Delilah Wilson. As soon as Brook Lynn mentions Delilah’s name, it’s clear Ethan is stunned, although he tries not to let on anything to Brook Lynn and Chase. Previously, Brook Lynn told Chase that it was recommended to her that they try to search on their own for Phoebe’s family. Well, is this her dad starring her in the face?

All this begging the questions: What is Ethan’s relationship to the deceased Delilah? Were they working on some kind of con together? Were they in love? Is Ethan the biological baby-daddy to Phoebe, which would really throw a wrench into Brook Lynn and Chase’s dreams of starting their own family? And, will all of this dovetail into Michael’s plan to get Chase and Willow to hit the sheets? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brennan’s Eyes Are Opened About Carly and Valentin, Josslyn Finds Herself Locked Up Like Anna

Published

In a pivotal episode of General Hospital, Monday, May 4 finally blew the lid off of Brennan/Carly/Valentin and showed off Josslyn’s super spy prowess, and Cassius dark side all in one fell swoop!

Here’s what went down: Brennan (Chris McKenna) went ballistic after catching Carly (Laura Wright) after hitting the sheets, only he didn’t know (yet) with whom. The Port Charles WSB Bureau Chief goes in on Carly wanting to know who is it that she is sleeping with.  After his angry demand, Carly tells Jack to “turn around.” Thus, revealing Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) as the other man, who is holding a gun pointed straight at Jack.

Initially, Jack thinks Valentin played Carly due to their vendetta, but au contraire! Jack gets an earful about how Carly flew to Steinmauer posing as his attorney. When Jack tried to understand why Carly would betray him in such a way, Carly spelled it out for him.

Coutesy/ABC

Next, Carly let Jack have it for his lies and duplicity about her daughter, Josslyn (Eden McCoy). She knows that Jack recruited Josslyn into the WSB, preying on her grief over Dex’s death to get her to murder Cyrus Renault. Carly adds, you tuned my daughter, “into a lying, murdering spy, like you!” In tears, Carly told Jack that Josslyn will never be the same, because of what he did to her.

SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY AND LIVING TO TELL ABOUT IT

Jack realized, Carly was the one behind getting Valentin’s transfer from Steinmauser. Now on the attack, Jack told Carly she will wind up in prison for aiding and abetting a fugitive. He tells her that Valentin will grab his daughter, Charlotte and disappear, and when that happens he won’t lift a finger to save her, in fact, (he throws in for good measure) that she might get lucky and thrown into a pit with Jason.

Valentin told Jack that if he didn’t help them, he will turn him over to Cullum, who he knows is a double agent and would like nothing better than to make Jack the fall guy for all of his own crimes. Jack apologized to Carly for lying to her, said he still loves her, but that he wonders how long it will be before Valentin betrays her too.

After the scenes aired, Chris McKenna took to X and shared, “And after we finished the last scene I ran over to Laura Wright and hugged her, and then pulled in James Patrick Stuart too. Thrilled to have that material with those legends. Hope you dig it.”

JOSSLYN LANDS IN A SLEEPER HOLD

In addition, Josslyn and Cassius (Ryan Paevey) had literally, a knock down drag out fight. First, after Cassius grabbed her arm as she was set to leave her apartment, he told her he knew she was WSB! Joss suggested that “Nathan” must be traumatized from years of being presumed dead. She grabs a candlestick and the two go at it complete with kicks, shoves, throws and all; leading to Cassius putting Joss in a version of the sleeper hold and making her pass out.

Later, Cassius calls for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but speaks to Pascal (Marc Forget), that there is an issue that needs to be dealt with. At the end of the episode, Josslyn wakes up in the same room that Anna was driven crazy in which must be somewhere at Wyndemere, Cassius is seen looking through the one-sided window and we fade to black.

So, what did you think of the Carly and Valentin reveal to Brennan? Did Carly come out the victor in her payback to Brennan? Then, who do you think will figure out Josslyn is kidnapped? Will it be Brennan? Will he help her or use it as leverage against Valentin and Carly? Share your theories in the comment section.
