EXCLUSIVE: GH’s Rory Gibson Weighs in on a Future for Michael and Willow, “I Think There’s a Very Real Possibility”
As Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) stands in her wedding dress at the doorway of the chapel seemingly ready to marry Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), a man she just learned had been having an affair with her mother, at the same time as he was seeing her, her ex-husband, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is angered that she has continued to stay in a relationship with the shady congressman over working things out for custody of their kids.
After Michael was awarded custody of Amelia and Michael by a corrupt judge on the take, Willow continued to mental, which also caused her to drive Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and baby Daisy right out of Port Charles! On the horizon, Willow knows Drews plans to make Michael look like an unfit father by forcing Portia (Brook Kerr) to doctor lab records to make him look like a drug addict, since he takes pain meds while still recovering from the burns he received in the penthouse fire at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard).
So, where can this go from here? With Sasha now out of the picture, are Michael and Willow destined to still be together when all is said and done? Will he be her night in shining armor rescuing her from the depth of insanity? Michael Fairman TV posed the question to Rory Gibson during our recent conversation now on the Michael Fairman Channel, if he sees a future for Michael and Willow to get back together when all is said and done, even it may be a few years down the line.

“I think there’s a very real possibility,” admitted Gibson. “I mean, even though the things that they’re going through are insane and it seems like they’re only getting pushed further and further apart. I can’t play the scenes the way that they should be played without realizing that there’s love there. There just has to be. They’ve spent too much time together. They share too many memories. They share too much love, and he knows at her core who she once was.”
Talking about the heavy emotional moments he has played with Katelyn MacMullen since he joined GH, Rory added, “Whenever I go into those really intense scenes with Katie, I always keep that in mind where it’s just like, ‘Hey, you once really, truly, deeply loved this person, that’s not going go away no matter what happens.’ It’s a human reaction, that you’re going to hold onto that forever regardless of what they do. You can be mad at them, you can be upset. Your dynamics and relationship can change, but in a sense that love will always be there.”
While GH viewers are about to find out next week if Drew and Willow actually say “I do,” on all new episodes of GH, Rory can’t wait to jump back into the story which has so many twists and turns. “I am just as curious as everyone else (to see what happens next), especially right now because we’re on our summer break so we haven’t gotten any scripts,. I’m so eager to get back into work, not only to see everyone, but also because I want to know what’s happening in the story!”

With Drew’s heinous plot to make Michael look like a drug addict on the horizon and now Willow feeling she has nothing to lose, so she will probably go all out to also make him look like an unfit father, Gibson teased if GH fans should be worried. “I would say you’re right to be worried. But, I would also say Michael is not one to be pushed around and he is not one to be played with. So buckle up.”

Yes, they should get back together, every super couple goes through hell and back, so this is their hell right now, granted I didn’t like the pairing I liked Willow with Chase and Michael with Sasha, but then those ship sailed, chase found love with Brooklyn and Sasha went to hell and back after loosing Brando, but Iike then now to get together,, granted its messy but look at all the couples pass and present whose relationships are a mess, so I’m ready for when Willow get her right mind back together and dumps Drew, although I doubt it will be that simple but I’m all for a messy crazy storyline with this group, I know a large group wants to see Drew killed off, which I think would be a dumb move. he’s really a slimeball in the good sense of the word, I enjoy having someone to hate.
While the actors are very good, I certainly wouldn’t call Michael and Willow a “ super couple.” I don’t really think there is such thing as a super couple on soaps anymore, but if there were, it certainly wouldn’t be these two.
I would be here for Michael and Willow. With Rory as Michael they chemistry. Nothing like a little toxic love lol
I sincerely hope Michael has much better judgement than to get involved with Willow again. There is no going back after she had an affair with his uncle!!!!!!!!!! Yes, the uncle is a sleaze bag who is not beyond using anyone and anything to achieve his hateful agenda. It takes two to tango. Willow has been warned and warned and warned about that snake Drew; but, she has remained a steadfast dewy eyed simp being led to slaughter. She gets what she gets. Michael should not come to her rescue.
As far as the children are concerned, Michael should retain full custody with Willow receiving visitation. The goal should be eventual joint custody if Willow ever grows up and demonstrates adult responsibility.
We all know Drew is going to be Dragon Chow soon enough. But Willow shouldn’t get away with what she’s done either. They have to explain this somehow.
And for the love of all that’s unholy, don’t use the DID copout. ReRon is long gone. Don’t recycle his idiotic stories anymore.
Just because Sonny and Carly eventually always find their way back to each other, doesn’t mean their kids have to carry on the “family tradition”. Mikey & Willow reunion? I wouldn’t bet your soul on it happening any time soon.
Willow is channeling the Bride of Frankenstein here. I guess that makes Drew, Frankenstein’s monster.
I’m really on the fence with their re-coupling. They’ve taken Willow to such a damaged place that I feel like she’d be pulling Michael and her kids down. It would have to be a really slow road to reunite them, in my book. Willow would need A LOT of therapy before I would want her to be alone with those kids. And I don’t know, but it seems to me that Michael goes through women like tissues. Granted, so many of them died. It would be a real change if his love for Willow outweighed the need to cut and run.

Noooooooo! Willow has gone too far. The character is damaged and maybe she never fully recovered from being raised by her mom and being victimized by Shilo. I think a re-coupling is too soon, if ever. Give Michael and Willow time to heal separately.
Willow blames her heinous actions on her mother instead of accepting responsibility. She lost her kids because she put Drew ahead of her kids over and over- it’s that simple. The words Willow hurled at her mother were cruel and unfair. Yes, I wish Nina had revealed her sexual relationship with Drew earlier but I understand her motivation as far as why she was reticent to do so. Willow is a vile creature.
Willow needs help, but I would support a re-coupling.
I am not on the fence about Michael & Willow reuniting. She needs Shadybrook/Ferncliff help. Not once has Willow admitted that her relationship with Drew and all her missteps since have been her own fault. Her attitude when Portia divulged Drew’s plan to frame Michael as an addict, was telling. Her joy over Sasha leaving with Daisy was truly despicable. No, DO NOT REUNITE M & W. Willow needs to do some serious soul-searching and try to be without a hero for a while.

Who Should Justin Bruening Play on ‘General Hospital’? Wife Alexa Havins is Down for His Return to Soaps
Will General Hospital be able to reunite on-screen real live loves and former All My Children co-stars Justin Bruening and Alexa Havins, by casting Justin in a role on the ABC daytime drama series?
The subject came back up when Alexa, who attended the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, October 30 to root GH on to its sixth Outstanding Drama Series win in a row, spoke with Swoon.
Havins shared, “There’s always talk about him: ‘Is he going to come (on the show)?’ That would be amazing since we started (on a soap). Why not? He would definitely come in and play,”

IS IT TIME TO REUNITE JUSTIN AND ALEXA ON-SCREEN IN PORT CHARLES?
However, when taking to the red carpet, it was obvious Justin was not with his wife, and she clarified while she attended daytime’s biggest night, the former Jamie Martin of Pine Valley dropped her off at the Emmys, and went home to take of their four children. Alexa smiled, “Right now, he’s watching all my children. That’s my pun!”
Bruening and Havins married back in 2005. Recently, and as reported, Justin came to visit his wife at the set of General Hospital and posted some photos from it via his Instagram. One caption read directed towards Alexa, “You’re cute…..What are you doing the rest of your life? I’m thinking……… 4 kids? House in the burbs? 1,001 pets?”
General Hospital is also the current soap home of Bruening’s former TV father, Michael E. Knight (Martin Grey) who played Tad Martin on the beloved All My Children. So, if Justin nabs a role, he could be reunited with both his wife and Pine Valley father!

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Brennan’s Body is Found, Heather Makes Her Reentry into Port Charles
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, after Heather Webber (Alley Mills) stunned Trina (Tabyana Ali) at the Cat’s Eye Lounge, she wastes no time with her newborn wealth and letting everyone in Port Charles know she’s back in town, plus Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) continues to plot to get baby Phoebe away from the Quartermaines, and after Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) went snooping, Brennan’s body is finally found!
Airing November 2-6, the latest GH spoilers video shows, Heather running into Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at Bobbie’s and then rushing into the arms of Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), expressing, “It’s so good to see you!” This moment also stuns head nurse Webber who looks completely befuddled.
Then, WSB agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) voice is heard saying, “Jude Jacks …he’s a threat!” Next, Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) attempts to stop Jude from getting any closer to Josslyn while at the Brown Dog Bar. However, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), who spent the night and hooked up with the mysterious Jude, sees the whole thing go down.

GIVE ME A HAND
Next, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is seen admitting, “Phoebe is in danger,” as quick cuts emerge between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jude in a stare down. Will these two become the next mortal enemies trying to exist together in Port Charles?
Finally, detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) is on the scene and is searching through the nature preserve for the body of Jack Brennan. Ava’s (Maura West) voice is heard telling someone, “The police found Brennan’s body.”
How will she and Drew (Cameron Mathison) play their game of cover-up, since they were the person’s responsible for burying him there in the first place, while viewers still don’t know who the real culprit is, or how exactly Jack wound up dead floating in the Metro Court pool.
