GENERAL HOSPITAL Sneak Peek: Patrick & Sabrina Find Out The Sex Of Their Baby!

Jason Thompson (Patrick) makes an on-screen appearance next week on General Hospital … something that many fans have been hoping for since the character of Patrick Drake has not been on as much in recent weeks following the departure of Robin (Kimberly McCullough).
Now in a new sneak peek clip for next week’s GH, it looks as if Patrick and Sabrina (Teresa Castillo), and the viewing audience, will finally learn the sex of their baby!
What do you think it will be? A baby boy, since Patrick was led to believe Ben was actually his at one point in time, and he admitted he was looking forward to being a father to “their” child to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), or will they be having a baby half-sister for Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer)?
And there are those who are still speculating, that in the end that Patrick may not turn out to be the baby’s bio-dad at all, and that it could still turn out to be Carlos’ (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), even though he denied ever sleeping with Sabrina! ‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric
General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).
On last week’s GH Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned,
Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT
Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where they were previously, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. And Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, “Well, so much for that!”
Fast-forward to 2025, and “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said we’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth, My internal monologue is going ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is. or not.”
Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprongna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric and a big fan base with with Jason and you know you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES
In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is down 100% to play. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.:
Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit and the buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other. and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect Ric, Sonny, Lulu? So, much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)
At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

‘General Hospital’ Alum Chad Duell Admits That He Didn’t Expect the Role of Michael Corinthos to be Recast, and Would Consider Working on Another Soap (Exclusive)
Chad Duell, the Daytime Emmy-winning actor, who stepped away from the pivotal role of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital, opened up about: his previous decision to leave the series after nearly 15 years, where’s he’s at now after time away from the demands of a daytime soap opera, and took a stroll down memory lane with some of Michael’s most-acclaimed storyline during his run, during a livestream chat on August 19 on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel.
Viewers last saw Duell on-screen as Michael in January of 2025, and with his successor in the role, Rory Gibson making his debut at the GH Nurses’ Ball in episodes that aired later in May. It was clear that during the conversation, Chad was a bit surprised that the GH brass decided to recast him when he thought he was just taking some much needed time off.
Burn-out of the daily grind of being on a soap was definitely a part of Chad’s decision to take a break. Duell explained “People know when you’re doing something for so long or your character is kind of in the same place for so long or doing the same stuff over and over again, you do get a a little burnt out, you get a little stiff, stale, a little stiff at times. I didn’t want that to be any sort of lasting impression. I have 15 years of a body of work of I’ve done on that show, which is fantastic.”

WHILE CHAD WAS AWAY GH RECAST MICHAEL CORINTHOS WITH RORY GIBSON
Chad shared, his mindset when leaving GH was, “I’m taking some time away, we’ll see what happens.” Then he added, “Obviously, they decided to go in a different direction with Michael when I was gone. I didn’t think they were going to bring somebody back in my place. But you know, it’s the business. You never know what can happen.”
Duell also shared he has not watched a single episode of General Hospital since he left the series, but now feels he reenergized following the loss of his father and stepping away from the GH, “I’m in a place now mentally, where I’m ready to sink my teeth into it again.”

Even though he is no longer Michael on GH, Chad was very happy with his final storyline where Michael was set on fire when a bomb exploded at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. “It was fun to put him in a dangerous situation, because I was wanting Michael to be in something scary instead of trying to be a hero character or just things happening around him, but to be the center point of tragedy happening to him. (I always saw) Michael as the heart of the (Corinthos) family.”
When Michael was badly burned the show chose not burn his face, which normally a soap does when they are recasting role and switching actors. Chad weighed-in, “They didn’t burn my face because I told Frank Valentini (EP, GH) I’m willing to come back. It was just a little bit of a break. So, I assumed that if they would have burned my face, they could have brought somebody back looking different than me… if that’s what their plan was.”

MEMORABLE MICHAEL STORYLINES
One of Chad’s most memorable performances was the in the storyline of Michael’s rape while he was sentenced to prison in 2010 and the confession of it in 2011. “It was so well-written and I was very nervous,” recalled Chad. “When I get really nervous about something, it ends up being really good when I do it, because it just means I care a lot about it”
“I have to put a lot of effort and work into it, and I really want it to be good. I was working with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Steve Burton (Jason) a lot during those scenes, and Laura Wright (Carly). It was great working with Steve and Dominic, especially, during that storyline.
A NEW SOAP ROLE FOR CHAD?
As to a future soap opera role, Chad is open to the idea and would love to jump back in to a juicy role, “I know people over at The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. They know that if they’re interested, I would love to come in for a screen test or something, and they can see what I’m doing.”

Lord it was so nice not watching Sabrina for the last few weeks. Now we get to watch her birth Cartini s version of the baby Jesus. Great. We all know this is what Robin was destroyed for. Hope they lose another 183000 viewers.
Sabrina is such an awful character and so awful with Patrick. The clip is nauseating. The actors are trying so hard to be cute together. Last we saw Patrick he was an unstable mess over Robin. Now he’s giddy about a kid he was ready to abandon and leave to go to Africa on a moment’s notice with Robin.
Now all he Patrina fans can get all giddy about the scene and the smiles and the body language. I’m going to throw up.
These two haven’t been on for weeks and now people should care about them and the kid. The show is just so poorly written and produced. It’s laughable.
You are so right Emily. She is the pet and they don’t care about Robin or viewers who waited 2 years for Scrubs to get back together. Besides Robin would not leave Patrick or Emma since she just got back. I don’t believe anything FV or RC says.
Patrick looks like an idiot again since he would be worrying about his Robin. He knows she is in danger. Hate what they did to GH for their pets. Patrick should be helping Robin.

This baby is only tied to Patrick, and Patrick was only tied to Robin-neither Patrick or Sabrina are needed to drive storylines on this show. Actually about 24 weeks puts it at the non wedding. The non wedding was thanksgiving and we are in April .. 5 months.
It is Patrick baby and not Carlos if you look back when Patrick found out that the baby is not his he went home told Sabrina and ask her to stay that he needed her and they went in to the room that is when the baby making started.

I’m so glad to see Sabrina. It’s about time they showed Patrick giving a damn about his baby. Whether it is truly his, we don’t know for sure, but he and Sabrina believe it is and he should be totally involved. He was engaged to her after all, and either way it is as much his responsibility as hers. I hope it is his. That wouldn’t keep Sabrina and Carlos from being a couple. He was always willing to accept Patrick’s baby. I hope we don’t get another baby twist with this story. We have enough with all the other babies. I hope this one is straight forward. We will see. I love Sabrina and Patrick’s baby with Sabrina doesn’t mean that Patrick and Sabrina have to be together. I love her with Carlos, though I liked her with Patrick, too. I so wish Patrick could move on with someone since Kimberly is off following her dream. I don’t want Patrick miserable all the time waiting for her.
I want Patrick and Sabrina to stay together and i know that the writers would not do that to Patrick and Emma and i know when the baby making started. I do not like Carlos and never will he need to go to jail for what he tried to do he is a bad guy and Sabrina does not need to be with him i wish she would kick him to the curve .

i’m a patrick and robin fan, yet i still like sabrina, i don’t think she slept around, especially with carlos, so i think its patrick kid. RC leave this storyline alone, just let it be sabrina and patricks baby, not every storyline you tell has to have 100 twist and turn, that gets old quick too.

I agree.While Robin off camera Sabrina been pregnant gives Patrick a story.We all know Robin is going to return again one day but by then Patrick might be in a different place.Plus Robin helping Jason could reignite some old feelings on her part for him.Also Patrick could start to realize he can’t keep his and Emma’s lives at a standstill while Robin’s gone and that they need to live a little.Plus Patrick could be worried for Sabrina’s safety in regards to Carlos.It won’t mean that he wants Sabrina back but because she’s carrying his baby he may not want Carlos around her.
RC should have wrote it with Patrick getting involved with Liz, someone who is tied to a major family and has history on this show. The angst and love affair would have been better as opposed to Sabrina-she can’t act -IMO and she has no depth. She should stick to making Disney films. Snow White comes to mind. I just believe that Patrick should focus on being a doctor-they could have written him like Dr. House, and having him solve medical mysteries but no he needs a love interest one after the other.

It guess I’m in the minority here but I just can’t muster up any interest in a Sabrina/Patrick baby or Sabrina as a character in general.
Sabrina has always been way too sugary sweet for my taste. I’d much rather she finally grew a spine and told Patrick that HE was the one who punched on her and their baby the moment Robin reappeared so move along dude. And mean it.
Patrick would obviously have obligations and rights as a father but that’s life. Trying to rekindle a “romance” that never really happened to begin with by way of a “surprise” baby is very off putting to me.
You are not…can’t stand this forced relationship. If Robin is not around, pair Patrick with a real woman, not this high schooler.
IA KM, Patrick wasn’t ready to marry her, he was still screwing her and wearing his wedding ring up until Carlos said something. If Liz wasn’t in his ear to marry Sabrina- he wouldn’t have. They could have paired him with Liz, Carly, which would have made sense, Robin best gal pal (minus Brenda) and her sworn enemy when she returned. That would have been great TV drama.
I third that! You are most definitely NOT alone in your thinking, KM. These two together bore me to tears. Sabrina with her doe eyed looks at while whining the entire time…and Patrick. No way do I believe he is or ever was in love with Sabrina. I think he wanted to get over Robin so desperately, and she ‘fit the bill’.
I WILL say that I don’t mind Sabrina when she isn’t with Patrick. When she was around Carlos, she wasn’t whiny like when she is with Patrick. She actually behaved like an adult with Carlos, unlike her time with Patrick when she seems more like a 12 year old teen infatuated with Justin Bieber. I also give her credit for the way she loves Emma. As much as I can’t stand Sabrina, all the credit in the world to her for her GENUINE love of Emma. Its not like she was ‘sucking up’ to Emma to sink her claws into Patrick. She has always truly loved and adored Emma and I like that. I only wish that were enough to make me actually like Sabrina! (for the record, my comments are NOT meant as criticism towards ANY of the actors…I’m merely expressing my like/dislike for CHARACTERS, not the actors who play the part! Just wanted to make that clear….)

But bring her back and let the story of Robin and Patrick continue I have totally lost interest in General Hospital and watch Days of Our Lives instead I was devoted fan for GH back when Steve Hardy was around. So please listen to the viewers opinion.

Writing in Teresa Castillo’s pregnancy was unnecessary, Sabrina has had very little screen time since we discovered she was pregnant and Teresa’s baby is due in May. The TPTB were just creating obstacles in the way of Patrick and Robin reuniting , which wasted valuable time since Robin’s was so short.
Teresa Castillo did say in an interview that GH originally had a story planned for Sabrina but changed it when she became pregnant in real life.So maybe the original story couldn’t tell even if they didn’t write the pregnancy in because Sabrina would be of camera for a bit when the actress goes on maternity leave.As for whether Patrick and Sabrina’s baby is a boy or a girl i don’t care but i think something will happen to cause Sabrina to leave town for a bit.
I want them to have a boy for Patrick. I love Patrick and Sabrina hope in time they make there way back together.
This is getting old this particular story. Patrick needs a fresh start all together.
I wish the baby was Carlos’s because Patrick is so cold to Sabrina and her baby. I don’t know if I think he deserves another child. Sabrina is a beautiful girl and deserves better. If Sabrina ever leaves the show, I want Teresa Castillo to come to B&B and play Steffy. And I’d like to see her paired with Darin Brooks’ Wyatt. I wanted Darin to come to GH to play a new love interest for Sabrina, and be a relative of Patrick’s.

Well, the thing that was silly about that was that Sabrina was too pretty to ever be an “ugly duckling”. A braid and glasses did not make Sabrina look “nerdy” or whatever. I’m a Robin fan, Patrick I don’t care for. I think Robin and Sabrina both are too good for Patrick. I don’t think he’s a very nice person. I’d like for Teresa Castillo to go to B&B as the new Steffy, that would be an exciting role fo her to play. I’m not sure GH has any plans to do much with Sabrina.
I think if Patrick does not want Sabrina he needs to tell her but i do not want her with Carlos so it will be ok if they bring Patrick brother and he falls for Sabrina but if not Patrick and Sabrina should stay together they remind me of DR Hardy and his wife. so please writers let Patrick and Emma be happy and leave the baby and Sabrina to be a family.
I like these two together, and I especially like the two characters (together or not). But I don’t get magic chemistry out of the actor playing Patrick toward Sabrina. Something’s missing on his end. Sabrina is also adorable in the way she interacts with Emma.
I don’t see the chemistry between Patrick & Sabrina at all. She isn’t a very character . I find her dull .
Will it turn out that Obrecht implanted Sabrina with the third Falconeri embryo or is this a red herring? Not sure I want to go down the baby drama road again and would love for Lulu and Dante to have a story that was not about babies.

I think Sabrina’s baby is hers and Patrick’s but Lulu did have 3 embryos go missing.We know Britt used at least one and that leaves 2 out there somewhere.So it could turn out that Dr.Obrecht used them somehow in some kind of experiment.However i agree that it might be time that Lulu and Dante have a story that doesn’t involve babies.Lulu could get involved in the story involving luke and what’s going on with him and Dante being a cop could start investigating AJ’s murder.
Quite frankly, baby stories are pretty boring once said parents finally get them.

Sabrina didn’t get pregnant on purpose because it happened before the wedding and before Robin was revealed to be alive.So she had no reason to try to trap Patrick.Plus even if she did get pregnant on purpose wouldn’t Sabrina have told Patrick right away that it was his?As for Robin i agree that GH should get her back but it’s sort out of their hands because Kimberly McCullough is doing other stuff right now.Plus everytime Kimberly returns and then leaves again it stalls the story a little.

I think they should give Patrick and Sabrina another go round . Robin is gone and i liked her to but she left her family for her ex if she cared any thing about her family after telling Patrick she wanted her family back Sabrina stepped aside to the can be a family again but she will never put Patrick first it is always Stone and Jason so to me the writers need to leave Robin alone and people need to give Sabrina and Patrick there time i know once they are married she will be what people want another DR Hardy and his wife she was a sweet heart just like Sabrina.

As much as I do not want a recast of Robin, no one can replace Kimberly and the great chemistry she and Jason have, but Robin and Patrick’s journey is not over! And that is why the fans of this couple cannot tolerate the pairing of Patrick and Sabrina. So maybe it’s time to recast Robin:(

RC has the pen. Anything can change. S/L can change for any number of reason. If the rating go down then a choice could change. One reason could be that Robin is gone. I think after she finish her movie she may be available for a long period contract. One never knows. I am a Scrub Fan. Want to see Patrick and robin together. But If they are not I just will not watch GH. I will not stress myself out with frictional characters

Watched this 3 times. Absolutely no chemistry and naturalness to Patrick and Sabrina. In this scene, it’s almost like JT is phoning it in and I think he’s a good actor. TC’s acting opposite JT always seems like she’s nervous and compensates by being too sugary sweet.

After seeing the chemistry between Robin and Patrick, no one can deny that this Patrina nonsense does not compare. I don’t understand why the character had to be written as pregnant just because the actress is. There was no conflict with her pregnancy except in her own head when she tried to pass the baby off as belonging to Carlos for all of two seconds. I do think Patrick deserves to move on from Robin but with someone else. If they get back together because of the baby, it confirms that Sabrina is okay with being second choice. That sends the wrong message!
Well, I like the character of Sabrina. She is a sweet girl and does not deserve to be badmouthed. I like Patrick’s character, but i have to admit, I don’t think he is that enthused about Sabrina’s baby. He’s just there because he feels he has to be. If you really watch, that is how he comes across. I don’t care whether Patrick and Robin get back together or not. I absolutely LOVE Sabrina with Carlos!! I want them to get together so bad! If Carlos ends up being the father of Sabrina’s baby I think the only way they could write it would be for neither Carlos or Sabrina to remember what happened because they were so drunk. Otherwise, Carlos would be a rapist and I don’t want that!! But if Patrick’s the father he and Sabrina can be co-parents to their baby and Sabrina can still be with Carlos. I wish they would write the story with Carlos and Sabrina getting together. They have WAY MORE chemistry than Sabrina and Patrick. But as mentioned in some of the above comments, maybe Obrecht did pull some sort of jackass trick and impregnated Sabrina with one of Dante and Lulu’s embryos. I never thought of that. Then Sabrina wouldn’t have the responsibility of having a baby. I think this is gonna be good!

That’s why I wish Carlos would get out of the mob so he and Sabrina can be together. I love Carlos and don’t like seeing him do bad things or seeing bad things happen to him. I do agree he should not lie to Sabrina about anything and can’t blame her for not wanting him around as long as he’s in the mob. Yes Ava should be put away for killing Connie as well Sonny for killing AJ…wait til Michael finds that out! But we all know that Sonny gets away with everything and they will write the story in a way that will not make it Sonny’s fault and he’ll get away with it…I would love to see Sonny finally get his! But for some reason these mobsters never have to pay for their wrongdoings. Can’t figure that one out….
As i posted above i don’t think show’s original plan was for Sabrina to get pregnant but they had to change things when the actress became pregnant.So maybe the original plan was for Sabrina and Carlos to get together slowly.Now i think the baby is going to stay Patrick’s and then if Sabrina and Carlos do get together Patrick will have to deal with another man helping raise his baby.I also think the next few weeks on the show will lead to Sabrina leaving town to accommodate the actress’s maternity leave.
IMO i think they could have hidden the actresses’s pregnancy and still written the story they were planning to write. I was also wondering if maybe they were planning to put Carlos and Sabrina back together again. If that’s their plan I hope they stick with it. I love Carlos and Sabrina together. And yes, if they do get together Patrick is not gonna like it one bit for his baby to be raised by a mobster. He didn’t like Robin’s friendship with Jason being a mobster either…that’s why i say Carlos needs out of the mob forever!
Yeah i agree that the show could have found a way to hide the actress’s pregnancy and still tell the original story.However when the actress goes on maternity leave Sabrina will have to be written off for a bit and maybe the original story needed Sabrina to be there all the time and also have love scenes maybe.So it could have been hard to tape love scenes around the actress’s pregnancy.Also before it was revealed onscreen that Sabrina was pregnant she was hiding an injured Carlos.So maybe the original story was for Sabrina and Carlos to fake a relationship to protect each other

I just don’t care about this story. Not at all. Even if Robin hadn’t come back I still wouldn’t care. The characters have zero chemistry to me. But now that Robin has come and gone again it just reaffirms to me that Patrick and Robin are soul mates and not even a baby can change that. The chemistry lies in Kimberly and Jason as Robin and Patrick.

There was no reason to bring Robin back other than everyone knew Robin was alive and no one was buying purina. So in order to make the worthless Cartini invention work they thought they needed to destroy Robin. Still won’t work no substance no chem.
I don’t think “all were fine the past 2 years without Robin” is a true statement. People have been complaining about Sabrina and Patrick since day 1. She came on as an immature girl with a crutch on an older man that she was babysitting for. At the Nurses Ball we were suppose to witness a magical transformation (Cinderella) and suddenly she’s a grownup.
So many people (Elizabeth, Epiphany, Emma, Carly, Felix, Maxie and even Anna) pushed this girl on Patrick until he gave in. He proved at their ‘almost wedding’ that he hadn’t moved on from Robin and even Sabrina admitted it.
What doesn’t make sense is people that actually like Sabrina wanting her to be with Patrick. A child can not keep a couple together. The man loves his wife but I’m sure he’ll probably receive divorce papers in the mail and the writers will rewrite what we have already seen on the show.
Sadly, rather we like it or not, their endgame is Patrina.

I know, Shay. But I can’t help feeling sorry for the actress. I don’t think she and Patrick are a good fit. Sabrina walks in Robin’s shadow. She will never measure up according to some viewers. It is also so strange to me that she is back after such a long absence. Truth is, I did not miss her at all. So, yes, I agree, why?
Nor did I miss her, FAS! In all honesty, I could have taken pity on the actress had she not been so enthusiastically forced down the viewers’ throats ad infinitum for over a year’s time…it was obvious from the start that she was in way over her head, far beyond her own performing capabilities, but gosh, this has just gone on for tooooo long, and now we are back again to “Square One?” The best thing would be to cut this complete failure of a character loose and allow the actress to go home, have her baby and enjoy playing mama. As for the GH storyline, they can either let the child belong to Carlos and send the couple away together “happily ever after,” or adopt a more daring choice by establishing Patrick’s paternity but then killing off Sabby and leaving him as a single father twice over. That would open up a new dramatic door for him to need another lady in his life to assist with his growing family…Liz, Maxie or even the now maternal Britt????? (I suggest this scenario because I don’t believe a return for Robin is imminent.)
I hope it’s a girl. One day when Robin comes back she will bring back Patrick’s son that the made right before she left. At least I hope so.

Some time ago i pointed out Carlos could be the daddy but someone replied to me that they didnt have sex…but just because it wasnt shown didnt mean they didnt do it off camera so im hoping we are right and Carlos is the babys father. However, there are too much baby drama as it is on this show!!!
Unless Sabrina’s baby turns out to be Dante and Lulus too but i wish we’d move away from the baby drama and with all the violence of having someone shot or stabbed nearly every other week!!!
GH creates drama where there is none. As if throwing Patrick with a sophomoric student nurse wasn’t cringe worthy enough, they had to make him the father of her baby too…ridiculous. The show’s baby drama has reached an all time high for barf worthy material.
Kimberly chose to leave GH and she wants to direct rather than act – it is not GH’s fault that she is gone but they have to make the best of it! Should Jason have left with her? You people need to let Patrick move on! Jason is a great actor and we don’t want GH to lose him but he’ll either quit or get fired if GH can’t pair him with anyone but Robin!
I am all for Patrick moving on with someone he actually has on screen chemistry with…I have an entire list of women who would have been better suited for him…Liz, Sam, hell, even Carly has more chemistry with Patrick than Sabrina, The Teenage Nurse.

The facts are that Sabrina and Patrick were only together for 6 months of which he spent a majority of that time mourning his wife. Kim and Jason chemistry was apparent before and after her return. Patrick had more passion and love in his eyes that he has had in the two years that Robin was gone. He is not excited about this baby. Compare this ultrasound appointment with Sabrina versus his appointment with Robin in 2008. There is no comparison in the love and excitement.
That is not true. Like people said his friend has to tell him to date Sabrina. Patrick told her when Sabrina told him she care for him he told her he though of her as the babysitter. Even Eppiney, Liz, Anna and Sam had to talk to him about Sabrina. Emma might have seen that but that’s all she saw. I am not making excuse for KM but they did say she was mourning the death of her father.
The writers did a terrible job writing Kimberly’s exit story. Robin would have never left Emma and Patrick after fighting so hard for two years to return to them. Robin had discovered the cure for polonium poisoning which is huge in the medical community. Was it too easy to let Robin leave to travel and consult with doctors around the world about her discovery. This would have allowed Emma and Patrick to visit and talk to her on the phone. It would have also given the writers time to decide if they should recast or how to best end Robin and Patrick’s journey. After reading my post, I think this makes too much sense for these lazy writer’s.

Let’s hope this is their baby and not Carlos’ or another ridiculous implanted embryo storyline. The problem with so many recurring actors is that the writers lose focus and steam on current storylnes. We haven’t seen Patrick or Sabrina in weeks. Nor have we seen AJ’s funeral. Too much time spent on new, useless characters with no real ties to Port Charles. Where has Anna been? Duke?
Actually the wedding was the first week of December, not in Nov. So it would make more sense that the baby was indeed Patricks and not Carlos.
I hope that the baby is Patricks and the man deserves to be happy with Sabrina and his two children. I hope that if Robin comes back that Patrick leaves her and stay with Sabrina and the baby. I am hoping that Patrick and Sabrina gets back together. Oh by the way congratulations on the real life pregnancy Sabrina take care and stay healthy. PS: I am hoping that the baby is a boy.
I think the new character on Gh which is Zachary is very boring and I hope he isn’t on for any length of time…He doesn’t do anything for the show at all..We can do without his character on GH…

I hope they are done with the whole it’s Patrick baby oops no its not scenario. I mean how many times can you do that to the same character before it becomes redundant. I think if Carlos was the father of Sabrina baby he would have told her to get closer to her. Some say he would not have because of the dangerous life he lives but he doesn’t seem to be the type of guy who thinks in those terms. I think he would have made himself believe he could take care of and protect Sabrina and the baby . I also think he has too much respect for Sabrina and he loves her too much to take advantage of her, the night they spent together she was hurting and she was drunk. I think the baby is Patrick’s and I hope that the writers keep it that way and not give in to the Scrub fans.
