The 2025 edition of the GH Nurses’ Ball will be remembered not this time as much by its performances, but by the amount of storyline bombshells they stacked into the four-episode event.

On the Friday, May 23rd episode of General Hospital, the story picks back up following Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) rage over learning that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) are his biological parents and as he believes, threw him away and never wanted him. What Gio doesn’t know is that Brook Lynn and Dante had no idea he was their son!

Lucy (Lynn Herring) tries to keep the show going once Gio made his outburst and left the stage. We also see Lois (Rena Sofer) and Brook Lynn run out after him. Meanwhile, a confused Dante gets a visit at his table from Cody (Josh Kelly) and insists the two go talk. Dante wants answers from Cody. Next, Cody admits he knew Brook Lynn had his baby. Cody says back at summer camp, Brook Lynn needed a ride to the bus station because she was pregnant. HearingDante is coming apart at the seams and needs to talk to Brook Lynn.

Outside the ballroom, Sonny (Maurice Benard), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Ned (Wally Kurth) are shocked they have a grandson. Chase (Josh Swickard) happens by and he admits he knew Brook Lynn had Dante’s child when she was a in high school. The grandparents have figured out that Lois must have something to do with this. Ned doesn’t understand why Brook Lynn never confided in him. Chase says she thought it would hurt him. but he wonders if that was what Lois was thinking and wanted it kept from him.

Lulu (Alexa Havins), who has caused this big mess, gets a talking to from Carly (Laura Wright). She tells Lulu to back off and leave things alone and to let Lois, Brook Lynn, and Dante talk this out between them.

At the PCPD, Mac (John J. York) calls Jason (Steve Burton) to come and help Tracy (Jane Elliot). When he gets there he points out to Tracy it was not a good idea for her to team with Drew (Cameron Mathison) to bring down Sonny. Then, Diane has worked her magic and has been able to get Tracy out of potential jail-time for her allegedly drugging Drew, which we know she didn’t do and Drew set her up. Jason gets a call (it had to be from Michael) and says he has to head out, leaving Tracy to figure out a way home to the Q’s.

Photo: ABC

Lucas (Van Hansis) shows up at Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) dressed in a tux to bring the Nurses’ Ball to her since she is recovering from her broken leg thanks to Kristina cutting the brakes to Ric’s car. The subject of Wiley gets brought up, who will be performing in the closing number of the ball with other kids. Lucas says it’s a good thing he is at Liz’s, because he is not Wiley’s father anymore and he would be one of the those proud dad watching their kids if he was in the audience. Seems like Lucas and Liz’s repartee was this year’s answer to how Brad and Britt would watch the ball, eat ice-cream and talk trash about everyone on the TV.

Back at the festivities, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) take to the stage to perform an original song, “I’ll Be With You,” which leaves Curtis (Donnell Turner) near tears, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) in tears, and Carly and Portia (Brook Kerr) looking on as proud mommas.

Photo: ABC

Later, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew talk with Carly and say they don’t want to fight with her anymore. They want to find common ground. Willow says they’re willing to let Michael have the kids every other weekend and Drew mentions the kids moving to D.C. Carly gets angry and says she’ll see them in court. Drew says Michael will blame her when he loses his kids and she will lose him too. Carly looks worried.

At the conclusion of the Nurses’ Ball, Lucy introduces the final act of the night featuring the children of some of Port Charles’ most notable citizens: Donna, Wiley, Georgie, Scout and James. The children sing the Jackson 5’s, “I’ll Be There.” After their performance, Wiley says, “Daddy!” Next thing you know, Michael (Rory Gibson) has burst into the ballroom, dressed in a tux, and scoops up his son.

Michael looks around as Drew and Willow, Carly and Sonny all looked stunned Next, Michael says to Wiley, “C’mon buddy! We’re going home.” As Michael heads out, we fade to black and it’s the end of the 2025 GH Nurses’ Ball.

So, what did you think of the final moments of the Nurses’ Ball with nuMichael making his presence known? Will Brook Lynn and Dante get a full confession out of Lois of how she kept their child from them all these years? How would you grade this year’s GH Nurses Ball episodes? Of note: Where was Jonathan Jackson performing as Lucky Spencer on the Nurses’ Ball stage? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first, check out Josslyn and Trina’s song below.

Drew was shocked! Shocked I tell ya! You could tell by the way his eyes were bugging out. Wait. He always looks like that.

sure do

Love it

I think it was so great that Michael comes at the end and gets his son and leaves with him. Leaving Drew and Willow stunned. I also can truly feel how hurt Geo must be feeling right now but soon he’ll know the truth that Brooklyn nor Dante new he was their son

I’m so ecstatic that Michael showed up and looked healthy and his Son knew Him and ran to him….. I Love Michael ❤️

Same here.

Same. Great entrance shocked everybody.

The end was great. G H always come through at the end.

What id like to know is where does Drew think he has a right making any decisions regarding Michael’s children they are not his children and Willow is wrong in letting him do that she acts as though she can’t make any decisions on her own without him but I’m glad Michael is back.

Finally, a great ending to an explosive beginning!

Not the real Drew that Sihol Drew lock up somewhere Sihol not de6

I have grown up watching General Hospital but the way Michael just walked in and picked up Wiley was just AWESOME it left me in tears LOVED every moment of it

Agreed

I’m still thinking about it like it happened for real lol ( I’ve been watching for 39 years now)

When will Lulu get punish for not minding her own business?

That’s what I’d like to know too.

I agree she is a trouble maker hope Dante don’t end up back with her, because I would have to fast forward thru those scenes, wish she was still in coma

Disagree completely! If she were the troublemaker you think, she would have spilled to Dante as soon as she found out. But she didn’t! She sat on the secret instead of telling Dante.

Thank you

No, but she kept snooping around when it wasn’t her business.

Exactly. Should have left her in a coma.

I agree she was gone for so long, what have been better?Just lever in a coma
Or make her health be worse like it was and she dies.

That’s a terrible thing to say. Maybe you should be in a coma

You do know it’s not real right? so it’s ok the problem would be if she wished that on someone real lol

She shouldn’t. All she did was tell the truth. It is, indirectly, her business because it affects her ex-husband, who she still loves, and her son. Put the blame where it belongs. On Brook Lynn for keeping it a secret from Dante for over 20 years and Lois for hiding him in plain site.

It wasn’t Lulu”s story to tell. She has just been EXTRA lately. Don’t like this side of her at all.

I know! This is Brook Lynn and Lois mess! Once Lulu found out it became her business! I only wish she told Dante from the start, instead of listening to everyone else! Lois time should be up. If only she can take her daughter with her!

You can’t be serious it is none of her business she carried no child she fathered no child and her ex was set to marry someone else she shoulda minded her business but her soap karma coming

Lulu needs to go away. She is a pain in the ass. She caused this whole fiasco. Hope she Gets what she has coming to her!!

Agreed!!!! I hope Dante doesn’t want to be with her now.

Ikr ASAP

NEVER

Where was Avery? We never see her with the other children.

Avery was taken to Carly’s house by Jason. Michael is taking Wiley there to join her for a “ sleepover.” This is what Michael asked Jason to take care of.

Amelia was taken to Carly’s. Avery is likely home with Ava.

I’m mixing the kids’ names up. Yes. I meant Amelia, not Avery. And when they were all
On stage together, I had to struggle to remember who was who and to
Whom they belonged.

Understandable , as it’s tough when this was the first time all year we saw either Georgie or Scout.

No…Amelia is Wileys sister. Avery is Avas child.

Charlotte either!

Oh my goodness, Charlotte, forgetting about her Daughter too!

I didn’t see Charlotte either.

The actress who plays Charlotte no longer lives in California. We might see more of her in the summer when school is out.

This has got to be one of the best weeks ever on GH!

Very good week !

Absolutely! When will Cody tell someone that Drew was “banging” Willow & her mom? That’s what he said in his drunken stupor at the bar. Can’t wait until it comes out

I can’t wait for that one to come out! Two for one zinger! But poor damsel in distress won’t believe it and stand by her man. I know to many women just like her! For real though.

Epic!!

I agree. It’s was fantastic and what no one is talking about is Gio on the violin. OMG, I have never teared to music but his passion and artistry on that violin are special. He blew my socks off. I bought some of his music on iTunes. He is amazing!! Sooooo glad Michael is back for his kids. I used to love Willow. She’s weak. I don’t think Drew is the real Drew. Something happened when he went to prison. They kept saying he’s not the same. I think he’s that Dawn of Day weirdo. Wait till Willow finds out. Who will save her next….. Drew is locked away somewhere. Oh, and when is she gonna find out Nina was sleeping with Drew as well…. lol. I can’t wait for next week!

Willow and Michael were a great couple. I understand she feels she owes Drew thanks for technically saving her life, but she is making a fool of herself. I think Michael needs to fight with all he’s got to get Wiley and Amelia from them. The custody deal Willow and Drew presented to Carly was insane! As far as Gio being Brooklin and Dante’s son. I hope Gio realizes they were kids themselves, Dantes was completely unaware, and Brooklin had no idea he was the baby she gave up. I also hope, Sonny, Olivia and need read Lois the riot act for keeping something so important from them for so many years.

Drew didn’t save Willow’s life. A whole team of folks were involved in that rescue mission. I’d say Liesl was the instrument force who saved Willow’s life in more ways than one. I recall that all Drew managed to do on that island was get himself knocked out while the other three did all the heavy lifting.

Exactly! If that’s the case, why isn’t Willow pawing all over Curtis? Or more grateful to Laura?

This is true cause I remember the rescue but why does Willow keep thinking that Drew alone saved her when Liesl is the one who saved her life, you know I use to like Willow I even felt sorry for her but when her and Drew betrayed Michael then her moving in with him with the children she showed no self respect for herself and I dont like who she is.

It doesn’t help Willow’s case that she and Drew are exhibitionists! Those over- the- top public displays of affection in front of cameras are grotesque and obliterate any sympathy I may have harbored for the girl.

Agreed! Willow and Drew used to be my 2 favorite characters on the show! Especially Drew because I’ve watched Cameron since he started on AMC and always liked him, Now I can’t stand to look at either one of them without wanting to slap the ugly out of them!!!

Yes /I agree!! They are sickening. I don’t blame Lois, I thought she did a good thing putting Gio with her cousin. Brooklyn shouldn’t blame her, she went a long with it, she was too young to be responsible for a baby, so she blames her Mother now. Grow up and take responsibility for your actions, Brooklyn!!

I think it was a perfect ending, it has left a lot questions to be answered, this is the kind of writing to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.

It was great moment when Michael came and got his son. I love this Michael already. Way to go Michael.

It was the best ending with Michael and the gio it was the best week for gh i can not wait for next week

I was blown away by that episode, the look in Willow and Drew‘s eyes was priceless, wait until she finds out that Drew kept her from seeing Michael and Michael didn’t even know she was there to see him, and Lulu, on the other hand, should’ve kept her nose out of her business of everybody else’s business. It wasn’t her business to tell about Gio , Dante should’ve told her to stay out of her business out of his business or Brooklyn’s. All I know is I like the new Michael I cannot wait to see what happens next Jocelyn and Trina blew me away with their performances. They were incredible.

I think Rory’s Michael is going to have great chemistry with Willow. I don’t understand why all this collective ire is being directed at Lulu when it should be directed toward Lois. Had it not been for Lulu running interference, this ruse would have gone on into perpetuity. Lois deprived Dante and the other three grandparents of know their son and grandson. And not telling Brook Lynn, who has been in a 22 year grieving period for her child, not knowing if he was okay, that he was living under her nose all along, was cruel. Lois would have been content to gaze at Gio with adulation forever while depriving his mother, father and grandparents the knowledge of his parentage. I for one am grateful that Lulu blew up this formerly dull storyline. It’s a dirty job but someone had to do it.

I wish I could edit my post but I meant to write,” of knowing,” not “of know.” Sorry!

Absolutely agree! Shame on Lois. Lulu could not be expected to rekindle her relationship with Dante while keeping this huge awful secret! I got chills when Michael showed up & whisked Wiley out. Can’t wait for next week.

I agree

I agree while heartedly. Lulu didn’t blow it up, she just found out the truth and told Lois she knew.

She should have kept her mouth shut

And the boring secret of Gio’s parentage would go on and on. I say we viewers owe the character of Lulu a great debt of gratitude for blowing up this once dull storyline creating climatic action and triggering riveting performances from the actors playing Dante, Lois and Gio. Yay for Lulu for being relentlessly nosy!

She didn’t just find out she broke into Martin’s hotel room and she was itching to tell Dante because she wanted him back and she thought he would run straight into her arms and forget about Sam. It wasn’t her business to tell and if she spent that time with Rocco maybe he wouldn’t have gotten drunk like he did. The minute she escaped from Cyrus she went looking for Charlotte and got mad at Dante for showing up to make sure she was okay. When did she spend any time with Rocco? She should have minded her own business!

Absolutely agree. I dont understand all the hatred toward Lulu.

It was WHAT Lily did. It was THE WAY she went about doing it. She was too nosy and annoying that got me.

Correction on my comment: it wasn’t that Lulu was wanting to let Dante know about his son, it was more about the way she was going about doing it. So nosy, bosy and completely ANNOYING!

And didn’t she find out by breaking into Martin’s office looking for info on Charlotte & found some paperwork from Lois, while looking through Martin’s confidential files?

You’re right Wheezy. Lulu cared nothing about Rocco or Dante knowing he had a son and certainly she didn’t care about Gio finding out this way. It was all about getting back at Brooklyn. Shame in you Lulu…

Lulu overstepped Period. First of all she got her information illegally and immediately decided that she would get back at Brooklyn… to cause Dante to have ill will against Brooklyn…She made it all about her and wanting to reconnect with Dante. Since she did find out she should have confronted Lois in private. It was NOT her story to tell!!!

I think it should of been Brooklyn or Dontia that over heard lulu going off on lois instead of Geo. That was to heart breaking. I love that Micheal is back and I can’t wait for willow to find out that Micheal did not know she flew to Germany to see him

Love what lulu did

Everyone seems to forget that this secret does impact LuLu and Dante’s son as well. Rocko has a brother he knows nothing about and is living in the same house with him. She loves Dante so it is her business. Maybe it wasn’t her business to tell but it was her business to get Brook Lyn or Lois to tell Dante and Gio the truth. She never meant for Gio to overhear her conversation with Lois. This is all on Lois. Obviously, he didn’t hear the part that Dante never knew he existed.
Love that Michael is back. The expression on Drew’s face said it all. His world is about to come crashing down. Karma is a bitch and Michael will be serving it. Love it.

No Terri… Dante is Lulu’s EX-husband… his business is no longer her business. She wanted to get back at Brooklyn for something that happened DECADES ago… that was her driving force to uncover the truth. She should have been spending more time with Rocco and perhaps he wouldn’t have been out getting drunk with college kids. Just saying…

She was wrong from the beginning after stealing information and making herself judge and jury against Brooklyn. There was nothing noble about what she meant to happen…. Since she made it her business to insert herself in other people’s business she should have made sure that those that would be hurt the most would not find out in such a public way. It wasn’t her story to tell PERIOD.

I agree and I am really excited about the new Michael. For the first time in a long time, I am really lookin forward to the next episodes.

Joss was autotune and they replaced dex with a clone

I loved this episode.. how delicious were the expressions on the slut and Drew’s faces to know their plans just blew up in their spiteful hateful faces

I despise Willow with the heat of a thousand suns but please don’t just refer to her as”the slut.” It’s especially offensive when you give Drew the respect of being called by his name.

I totally agree! Loved it

The best Nurses Ball episode in years. I’m delighted Gio’s secret is out and Michael’s return was awesome. Look out Drew.

The BEST showSTOPPER ever!!!!! Today is Saturday and I can hardly wait until next week!!!!! Everyone tried to warn Lulu. I hope she suffers behind what she did. I ABSOLUTELY LVE my new Michael. He should be the one to TAKE OVER Sonny’s thrown!!!! He will give that new guy a run for his money also put an end to his no good Uncle

Lulu did nothing wrong. It was never her intention to tell Gio, although she felt he deserved to know. She was heartbroken by his reaction. She didn’t even tell Dante like she wanted. Brook Lynn kept her pregnancy and the adoption from Dante. Lois kept Gio’s identity a secret from EVERYONE, including him. They are the ones at fault. Not Lulu.

Yes it is Lulu’s fault, because she was digging and snooping in Brooklyn life forever trying to find something that had nothing to do with her, and she thinks Dante is going to fall in her arms, but it’s going to back fire on her.

You would think after being in a coma for 4 years she would be more involved in her kids life- making up for lost time. She was absolutely doing too much. What she thought she knew should have told Dante.

I Agree Tussie. This was not Lulu’s story to tell.

I said that too. Michael is coming to step in for sonny.

I totally agree..

Now this is how you do sweeps!

In my nearly 50 years of soap watching, I don’t remember a voiceover with less that a minute in an episode say “the role of ___ is now being played by”. Usually, that happens much earlier in the episode. It was timed perfectly with Wiley’s “daddy”. I liked how Michael barely acknowledged anyone except his son.

Online sources said they had so many key scenes that would’ve had to be edited that the Elizabeth-Lucas portion was shot just last week so they could stretch the BLQ-Dante-Gio aftermath into Tuesday’s episode. Contrast that one week to shoot and edit to where DAYS is now 9 months ahead.

Nitpicking – the cute kids performance featured Georgie & James – yet Felicia (nor Spinelli) wasn’t shown in the audience in that episode. Despite all the drama with her father, the first time we see Scout this year is performing on stage?

Overall, an amazing week.

First of all if it wasn’t for Michael letting Willow adopt Wiley she wouldn’t have kids and for her to dictate when Michael can see them get a reality check. Willow is a puppet and deserves Drew both losers. As for Lulu I hope everyone comes down on you and that includes Dante. Brooklyn needs to slap and Chase needs to arrest her for breaking into Martin’s room.

Why should everyone come down on Lulu? Do you wish the secret had been kept forever? She was desperate to find Charlotte & came across the information by accident. How could she not look into it? How could she keep it quiet if she was hoping to get back with Dante? Lois & only Lois (& Gloria) are to blame for this mess. Lois never should have gone to Martin in the first place. She got the ball rolling on the truth coming out. I don’t see how Olivia will ever forgive her.

This ⬆️

This is on Lois, and Brooklynn! Lulu investigated so she could get the full truth before telling Dante! She did the right thing! I definitely think Chase should get in trouble at work for threatening to arrest her if she says something! They should have told Dante! If he blames Lulu he needs to remain alone, I never liked her with him in the first place. Johnny was a better match!

She gave birth to Amelia.

I agree

Great conclusion to the Nurses Ball. Loved the kids singing and the shock from Michael’s swooping in to reclaim his son and leaving without a word to anyone else. Very dramatic.

After Friday’s Nurse’s Ball Finale episode, with the cliffhanger of Rory’s entrance as the newly casted Michael, I actually am now even more excited. And I’m hoping that Michael and Sasha get a re-do since now that she is a Scorpio (and unable to be paired with Cody who is heading towards Molly) as well as is pregnant with Michael’s, baby due in July, this looks to be a good direction for this generation of characters. Rory was on screen for less than a minute and he did a fantastic job!

Yes to all you said. I love Cody & Molly together & would love to see Michael & Sasha get together, fall in love for real & raise their baby together!

Yes, also Curtis get back with Jordan and I believe Isaiah will end up with Portia

Ick to Isaiah and Portia…
I think Portia will be sacrificed. Jail time is in her future. Drew is petty remember? I don’t see a way out for her. So Isaiah can keep pining for Jordan.

I agree they would make a beautiful couple.

Yes exciting and hopefully gets full custody and Drew disappears from her life
Willow needs to know all the evil Drew is doing Especially sleeping w:
/ her mother He’s such a jerk and horrible actor ! Can he talk ever with out his hands and bending over like he has a bad back!
Come on GH … get rid of him

There’s nothing wrong with talking with your hands. I’m Italian and can’t talk without my hands. Drew is a jerk and he goes overboard with his facial expressions. I’m hoping Michael cuts him down to ssize. He and Willow, both.

I think context is everything. Italians talking with their hands to illustrate their points are charming. Drew talking with his hands to bully and patronize is obnoxious. I fully expect him to start using air quotes if he hasn’t done so already.

Lol your comments bout Drew. I feel the same way he uses the same acting with his hands with every scene. Im surprised he was ever placed in a major storyline. I think it is bc he started working out and has the muscles. But let’s not forget he is a Nepo baby. His Dad is Eric “Otter” Stratten in Animal House and other shows.

They’re not related. The spelling is even different.

I love that Michael went straight for Wiley, and I hope that it comes out right away that Willow flew there to see Michael, and she realizes that Drew kept her from doing that.

Both Tabyana and Eden have lovely voices, but the song was very boring. The kids were adorable, but I was sad not to see Anna and chase dance.

The acts were all just ok to me. “These boots are made for walking” was stiff and kind of sad. And the guys doing Chase’s song were just so so. Cody and Dante had decent rhythm, and put some umph into it, but Isaiah was really stiff, and you could tell that he was “counting” rather than dancing. Chase has a great voice.

Lulu made me want to slap her, as her jumping all over Lois was not necessary at the Nurse’s Ball! It could have waited until the next day. There was NO REASON to do it right there, where ANYONE could have heard them, and DID! (poor Gio!).

Please bust Drew out of the water, and make Kristina finally have to pay for the sh*t she has pulled, and always gets away with!!

It was more likely for people to overhear at the Quartermaine’s than a private room, with the door closed, backstage. Besides, what would Lulu’s reason be for being at the Q’s? Nobody would blink at her being at the Nurses Ball.

Lulu is Tracy’s stepdaughter. She and Tracy are close.

Yesssss

The new Micheal gave off price vibes like he came from royalty. I have not seen an actor do that in decades. Gio is a talented musician and actor. Loved Josh and Trina’s and Gios performance.

So excited for this new Michael, he’s going to be ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. BEST ENDING HOPE DREW AND WILLOW FINALLY GET WHET THEY DESERVE

I can’t wait

Where was Lucky? Why didn’t Lucky or Ned perform?

Unbelievable! Loved every minute!
I’m a big Chad Duell fan but I think the new guy will be just fine

Loved it!! The best

I think it was great how Michael picked up Wiley and Willow and Drew were left in shock…I loved this year’s Nurses Ball…also loved Gio’s performance too and Joss and Trina were great and the kids at the end were fantastic!!!!

Lulu has become almost as annoying as Drew.

But I am loving the new familial interaction between Tracy and Jason

This was the best…what a elements of surprise…to see.
Sonny shock…drew ..Carlie..now it’s going to get better when.. Michael new baby momma..get to play

Loved the ball ending glad michael is back. I am soooooo sick of Willow.

I am so glad that Michael is back too and I can’t wait to see what Michael’s plan is for his so-called loser uncle and that adulterous wife of his.

I loved this ball. I would have loved to see lucky in something. And Micheal coming in the end wonderfull. I am happy Geo knows about everything I can’t wait for next week

I feel bad for Geo that he didn’t know who his real parents was

I absolutely loved when Michael showed up. It’s about time.

Yes

I got to admit this week especially Fridays episode of Gh was I lived every min

I think Carly has figured out Drew was behind the bombing. It’s Drew’s way to gain COMPLETE control over Willow. I’m waiting for everything to unravel and Drew’s is sent away.

If this turns out to be true that Drew had something to do with the bombing in Sonny’s penthouse I hope he pays for it by losing his political career and everything else cause what happened to Michael is unforgivable.

Sasha was called to testify at the custody hearing, and it might come that she is carrying Michael’s child.

True but that was when he found out that his uncle and his wife had been having an affair and seen Sasha it was just one night comforting each other that’s all it was.

I think General Hospital was great, just to many commerials

This is the best nurses ball yet! The writers are doing a heck of a job with this show. A while back it was starting to get boring but they have really turned it around . I look forward to every episode, keep up the good work!!

I couldn’t be more thrilled!!! Welcome home Michael now show Willow and Drew that they should not have crossed you!!! I do hope that Sasha and Jason can keep her true baby daddy secret under wraps or else Michael is gonna be in a world of hurt cause Drew is one vindictive son of a monkey!! Michael deserves the kids cause Willow is a terrible role model and Drew is a home wrecker!!! That probably won’t happen but we can hope right? We shall see.

Drew and Willow crossed with the wrong person, remember Michael can be VERY RUTHLESS, remember how he treated his own father Sonny, so I can imagine the payback that Drew and Willow will receive

To me I think lulu did the right thing It is never okay to keep a child from their father never And it’s surely not okay for them not to tilt their father that they

And I think my michael should keep walley

Gios performance was Out Standing. Absolutely amazing. He is so talented which really played in to viewers sympathizing about his misfortune.

If u think about it the end song is forth telling

I’ll be there
Just call my name
Wiley :daddy
I’ll be there (Michaele shows up

My heart leaped for joy when the little boy yelled, “Daddy!!!!”, and Michael picked him up and took him home. I hope Michael does everything he can to keep those children out of Drew’s evil clutches.

This seasons nurse’s ball answered a lot of questions. Very well done. Loved it!

The last 2 episodes were the best GH I have seen in a long time. It was awesome. I hope Michael takes down Drew and Willow and even takes over the dock for Sonny and Jason.

It was great. I love it when Michael came in and I hope Drew gets what he’s got comming

Michael is back. Can’t wait to see what is next. Hope he crushes Drew and willow! Love it GH.

It’s time for Drew to dissappear from GH!

I love the new Michael already!

Best scene on GH in years!

Absolutely Loved it All. Sick of Kristina getting into trouble and Alexis having to cover for her! Love Michael swooping in and getting Wiley. Love me some Gio who has been devastated by Dante’s criticism of how he handled Rocco’s drinking stupor. Now this turn of events. I could listen to him play all day. I am happy the news is out, not of how, do not think it was Lulu’s business. Drew’s bending with the hands, living and conniving has got to stop! Someone please blow the cover on Drew and Nina! Best week Ever! Carly will come Unglued when she finds out that Josslyn is with the WSB. She was warned, she is So Hot-headed. Waiting on Monday. Love Micheal, Sonny and Tracy now, Look Out Lòis and Lulu(Tracy Is Coming)

‘General Hospital’ Alum Avery Pohl Joins Cast of Netflix’s ‘Scooby-Doo Origins’ Series

Previously on General Hospital, Esme Prince caused so much trouble for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) until the character went overboard and was presumed dead back in January of 2024.

Esme’s portrayer, Avery Pohl was heralded by GH fans as one of the great young baddies in recent memory. And now, Pohl is taking her talents to the new Netflix series, and joining the Scooby-Doo universe in an undisclosed role in the upcoming show, Scooby-Doo Orgins!

News of Pohl’s casting came via Deadline when they revealed 12 actors joining the upcoming live-action series which also includes notables: Sara Gilbert (ex-The Talk and The Connors), and Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks), plus previously announced, MacKenna Grace (ex-Faith, The Young and the Restless) who plays the central role of Daphne Blake. Tanner Hagen takes on Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson plays Velma Dinkley, Maxwell Jenkins  is Fred Jones, and even Paul Walter Hauser also appears in a secret role, and not to be left out, Scooby-Doo himself.

ZOINKS, RUH-RO AND JEEPERS!

Avery Pohl took to her Instagram upon the reveal of her new project and said, “Dog’s outta the bag. So grateful to work with so many talented and kind individuals.” Immediately many of her former GH castmates congratulated the actress including: Tabyana Ali and her predecessor in the role of Trina, Sydney Mikalya and Eden McCoy (Josslyn).

According to the official loglines for Scooby-Doo Origins, its a, “Modern reimagining of the iconic mystery-solving group of teens and their very special dog. During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sidwell is Set Up By Lucas and Company, Cassius is in the Right Place at the Right Time

On the Wednesday, June 10 episode of General Hospital, after Sidwell (Carlo Rota) shoots Lucas (Van Hansis) three times, he is surrounded by PCPD commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Joe (Jonathan Bennett) and other uniformed cops. Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) show up and the mayor runs to Lucas as Joe checks his vitals.

Lucas comes to and reveals (as we all predicted) that he was wearing a bulletproof vest. That reveal sets Sidwell off that he was played as Dante says there is evidence enough to arrest him for attempted murder.

Sidwell though, tells Dante that he needs to arrest Laura and his father, the mobster Sonny Corinthos, for Professor Dalton’s murder, but admits he no longer has the proof because Lucas broke into his safe and stole the evidence.

LUCAS GETS BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS

Just then, “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) shows up wondering what he missed. Sidwell says his lawyer will get the charges thrown out since Dante, Laura, Sonny and Lucas conspired against him. However, Dante mistakenly allows “Nathan” aka Cassius to be in charge of taking Sidwell to the PCPD and to book him.

Lucas is still uneasy. Laura wants him to go to GH to be checked out. Dante asks Laura and Sonny and Sonny about Dalton’s death, but they play dumb as if they know nothing about it, which is not lost on Dante that they are lying.

Later, none other than Joe takes Lucas to the hospital, and for the first time we see the two characters truly in a one-on-one moment together. Lucas talks about Marco and Joe waits around till the nurse comes to get Lucas to get checked out. Do you get a sense that Joe likes Lucas, or is that all in our minds?

SIDWELL GETS AWAY

Taking a side road, Cassius gets Sidwell out of his vehicle, and tells him he cannot protect him from an attempted murder charge, so the only thing Jenz can do is to get out of the country and disappear for good. Sidwell says he has many contingency plans in place, and also warns Cassius that he will expose him if he does not comply with what he needs him to do.

To make it look good, Sidwell asks for Cassius’ gun. In the final moments of the show, Cassius is seen with a gash on his head calling Dante, and informing him that Sidwell’s thugs jumped him and Jenz got away!

THE PLAN TO BLACKMAIL DREW BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE

Elsewhere, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is freaked out that Jack (Chris McKenna) is able to grab her arm and talk! Just then, Nina (Cynthia Watros) shows up. Willow learns her mother hasn’t been injecting Brennan with the paralytic drug. Jack says he can stop Sidwell and Cullum from coming after her and has evidence she can leverage against Drew.

Willow learns, that according to Brennan, Drew misappropriated federal funds and he has the proof, and if that should come to light, Drew would be sent to prison. Nina says Drew won’t risk being sent to prison again, so Willow can stop drugging him.

However, Jack has a plan. He says he’s the only one with the information on Drew. He thinks they should continue to let Cullum and Sidwell believe he’s still in a locked-in state to give him cover. Willow is told as much as she hates continuing to drug Drew, she will only need to do it 1 or 2 more times, to give Jack time to set everything in motion.

So, were you annoyed that Cassius freed Sidwell when he was caught shooting Lucas Jones? Where do you think Sidwell will go? Do you think Joe and Lucas might be potential boyfriends, and what do you think of Jack’s plan? Did Drew really misappropriate federal funds? Weigh-in via the comment section below. But first, check out the scenes between, Nina, Willow and Jack.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Creator Michele Val Jean Reveals Top Three Favorite Storylines She Has Ever Written For, and All From ‘General Hospital’

If there is a story or script from one of your favorite soaps over the last three and a half decades that is most memorable to you, it’s probably because veteran soap writer, Michele Val Jean had something to do with it.

The current creator, head writer and executive producer of CBS daytime’s Beyond the Gates has been razzle dazzling us with some impressive cliffhangers in the infancy of the newest soap opera on the block which debuted back on February 24, 2025. Already in its second season, and recently renewed in a tremendous show of confidence by CBS for seasons three and four, this week its spotlighting the highly-anticipated crossover event when characters from The Young and the Restless arrive at Fairmont Crest airing now through June 12.

Val Jean has tenured history in daytime from: being a script writer for Santa Barbara (and breakdown writer), Port Charles, Generations, and lengthy run a few times at General Hospital where she served as script writer, breakdown writer, and at one time co-head writer of the ABC soap, to being a long-running script writer at The Bold and the Beautiful, to finally landing her very own show as its head writer with Beyond the Gates.

Earlier this week, Michael Fairman TV chatted with Michele at the Toast to Black Excellence event in Los Angeles, featuring cast members of Beyond the Gates and The Young and the Restless as a precursor to their multi-arc crossover event and asked Val Jean what has been her favorite story in soaps she has ever written for. She responded that she had a top three and they all happened to be from her time on General Hospital and in the 90’s.

GENERAL HOSPITAL CLASSIC STORYLINES

Michele revealed her top picks, “Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) rape, because that was personal, Kevin and Ryan (dual roles played by Jon Lindstrom), and Stone’s (Michael Sutton) death.”

When speaking of getting the opportunity to write for mild-mannered Dr. Kevin Collins and his psycho killer twin, Ryan Chamberlain, Michele explained, “I was always like a true crime person and Claire Labine (ex-head writer, GH) loved the vibe Jon Lindstrom and I has as writing and acting were concerned. Claire said, ‘Go with it. So, she basically let us work out who these characters were and I was like, ‘I finally have my own serial killer!'”

DOUBLE TROUBLE

“One of the first scenes I wrote for Ryan was in the police interrogation room and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Sean Donely (John Reilly) were standing behind him. He was sitting at this table and in his jumpsuit and there was a light shining on him and he started confessing to all these murders. It was like a 7-minute monologue and it went on and on. He had so many murders (piled up). and then at one point, he goes, ‘Wait, a minute!” He got confused about all the women he had murdered and I said ‘I love this character!'”

GH fans will recall Ryan debuted first in 1992, and then Kevin joined the main characters in 1993. Val Jean recalled, “When Kevin came onto the canvas, he was so arrogant. He thought, ‘Oh, I’ll go fix my brother.’ It took Ryan about five minutes to figure out who Kevin was. The next thing you know, Kevin’s in the middle of a mental institution going, ‘I’m not Ryan!’ And, Ryan’s out on a date with Felicia (Kristina Wagner) I think we must have killed Ryan off six times. That was fun!”

PERSONAL VANTAGE POINT

In 1998, Val Jean wrote Elizabeth Webber’s rape storyline. She notably based the controversial and critically acclaimed storyline on her own personal experience with sexual assault.

Michele reflected, “Elizabeth’s rape was really important to me because I was watching the Campus Disco in 1979 (when Luke raped Laura), and I was raped when I was 12-years-old. I know what rape looks like. I wanted to win Tony Geary (Luke) an Emmy because he hadn’t had one since 1983. I also wanted to call a rape a “rape,” and I wanted to heal myself, because back when I grew up on the south side of Chicago in the sixties, you didn’t go to therapy. You pulled yourself up by your bootstraps, and you went on. There was a trial and my rapist went to jail. Once that was over, there was no more talking about it. So, those were my three reasons for doing that story. I managed to do all three, and that was the most personally satisfying.”

STONE AND ROBIN

Perhaps, there is nothing more iconic and important, than the death of Stone Cates, who tragically dies of AIDS. The episode where he passes away with his girlfriend, a young Robin (Kimberly McCullough) who now has contracted HIV by his side, aired on November 29, 1995. Val Jean had noted on social media that it was both an honor and a heartbreak to write this episode.

BEYOND THE GATES EARLY FAVORITES

Now, Michele is setting new favorites in her repertoire with Beyond the Gates. She revealed that so far, there have been two standouts. The first, the violent altercation on a deserted country road where Martin (Brandon Claybon) fatally struck one of two racist white men with a tire iron to save his grandfather, Vernon Dupree’s (Clifton Davis) life and his own.

“I am most proud of Martin by the side of the road (story), because I didn’t think the CBS network would let me do it, but the network has been so supportive. I took a lot of personal satisfaction from that. I’ve never experienced anything like that! ” Another top pick?  I loved the anniversary party when Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) marriage got all blown up!

So, are some of your all-time favorite storylines the ones Michele Val Jean chose? Elizabeth’s Rape, early Kevin/Ryan and Stone’s death on General Hospital? What about the racism storyline centering around Martin Richardson and the bombshell reveal on Beyond the Gates that Ted had an affair with Leslie and a child, which came to light at the anniversary party of Ted and Nicole?
