Brenda announces she is leaving Sonny after what he did to Jax. Carly, Kristina and Ethan set out to find Morgan, Molly and Josslyn. Kristina finds the children and Jax threatens Carly that he’ll erase Carly from Josslyn’s life. Lulu struggles against Javier – but just when it looks like the worst will happen, Dante charges in and saves her from being raped. With no news of Luke, Lulu decides to set fire to the Bordello in Spencer fashion. Kristina remains ever so set to accompany Ethan to Vegas – he’s in deep.

Jason and Sam counsel a heartbroken Molly over the concept of love – bringing the couple closer together about their future.  Jason invites Sam for a rooftop dinner. Lucky and Liz come together for Aiden’s birthday – and Liz graciously invites Siobhan. As Brenda comforts Jax in jail, Carly questions Sonny’s methods wishing he had taken less extreme measures to win her Josslyn. Later, this quadrangle of lovers throws down outside the courthouse, and a verdict is leveled – in light of recent events Carly gains sole custody of Josslyn. Sonny remains determined not to lose Brenda, no matter how upset she is right now at him.  But she screams she will never come home with him.

With Maxie’s help, Jason picks out an engagement ring for Sam. As preparations are made, Sam confides in Alexis the possibility she is getting married.  But there is a snafu – Maxie accidentally drops the ring off the balcony! Jax levels awful insults Carly’s way as Sonny fights to hold onto the woman he loves. Jax makes plans to leave Port Charles, and Brenda catches Carly and Sonny in a situation. When Lucky steps away, Siobhan attacks Liz for putting on an act of kindness. Lucky tries to maintain a peaceful triangle, but drama looms between the three.

Unflappable, Jason moves forward with the rooftop proposal.  Sam makes a heartfelt decision.  Jax says goodbye to Michael, Morgan and Josslyn. Meanwhile, Brenda returns their rings to Sonny. Devastated and heartbroken, Sonny finds little comfort from Carly or Robin.  Brenda jets off on a plane with two surprising passengers. Lulu and Dante make their way home from Florida and find themselves in a cave on the Cassadine Island. Later, Dante crosses with Helena as Lulu eavesdrops. Meanwhile, Mac assigns Lucky a serious case with missing prescription drugs. Liz tries to help his investigation. Siobhan considers refilling the malpractice suit. Robin, Chief of Staff, becomes a nightmare to Patrick, Matt and Steve. Anthony Zacchara makes an appearance at ELQ with flowers for Abby. Later, Asher sows seeds of doubt in Michael and Abby to Tracy. Spinelli, as Jackal P.I., stakes out the bakery for serious and offers (bad) advice on what to do about Robin to Matt and Maxie.

This show only caters to a certain audience. I’m done watching a soap that doesn’t give other races a chance to experience love, romance & danger.

Don’t know if you’ll get this as your recaps are out dated but I was having a conversation today with a fellow GH watcher and we were discussing Sonny’s character wondering where the hell the writers are going with this story line. It seems so foolish to have brought Brenda’s character back so weak and have her exit on a poor note. Fans have been waiting so long to see their wedding and marriage bet the odds. We feel robbed that the writers wrote such a foolish story line of their love. What was the point of her short cast? It would have been better to see Brenda’s character strong and determined to keep her marriage at all cost. Would have been cool to see her stick it to Carly and be the ultimate diva mob wife and Sonny make Jax look like a bigger jerk off/candy boy as Sonny calls him. Poor job writing GH grade F for foolish. I’m just saying…

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Drew Emerges from Nina’s Murder Attempt Ready to Confront Willow

Published

At the conclusion of the Monday, July 27 episode of General Hospital, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) showed up at the front door of his house much to the shock and dismay of his wife, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

The major turn of events, where for the first time in months, Drew is no longer in a locked-in state thanks to the paralytic drug that Willow and her mother Nina (Cynthia Watros) have been serving him, could mean the end for Willow, but will it?

Viewers learned that as Nina was in freak-mode with Jack (Chris McKenna) after pushing Drew in his wheelchair into the lake surrounding the Quartermaine boathouse, that Gio (Giovanni Mazza) found him in the water and saved him. Nina is mortified.

Meanwhile, Willow has just returned from the PCPD where she was brought in for questioning by Chase (Josh Swickard), about her dealings with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), just as she was trying to sneak out of town with Amelia and Wiley in tow.

As Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) question Willow on her involvement with Sidwell, Willow gets mighty defensive and offended, while putting on her game face. After she walks out on the interrogation, she heads back to her home, so she can gather her belongings and flee the country.

Little does Willow know, Jack made a deal with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and recovered the missing black box which contains the dossier on Drew so he, Nina and Willow, all have leverage to hold over Drew.

Back at the Cain residence, Willow is gathering things off the living room floor when she sees muddy footprints. Suddenly, the front door opens and shuts. Willow turns around and see a soaking wet Drew with rage all over his face! We fade to black.

Today in the official GH preview of the Tuesday, July 28 episode (see below), Drew says to Willow, “I am so excited about what comes next.” Plus, look for Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) to finally see each other after Jason’s captivity by the WSB for months.

So, what else will Drew say to Willow? Do you think he has been affected by the long term use of the paralytic drug? Does he have amnesia? Does he know full-well everything Willow and Nina did to him, and will tell Willow how he is going to destroy her life? What do you hope goes down? Let us know you thoughts via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Tries to Help Rocco Move On; Nina Makes Last Ditch Effort to Silence Drew

Steve Burton, Finn Carr

The Friday, July 24 episode ended with quite the cliffhanger with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), pushing a wheelchair-bound Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the lake surrounding the Quartermaine boathouse.

Previously, Nina received a call from Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) telling her that she received very bad news from Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

The WSB Port Charles Bureau Chief called the congresswoman to inform her that the black box containing the leverage he has over Drew has gone missing. Saying he owed Nina, Jack was willing to provide a plane out of town for her and her children, Wiley and Amelia, with passports for new identifies, but they must leave tonight.

Willow tells her mother she can join them if she wants to, but it’s up to her since she has a life in Port Charles, but she has to go and get ready and to let her know. Suddenly, Chase (Josh Swickard) shows up at Willow’s office telling her he has to take her down to the PCPD.

DREW PUSHED INTO THE WATER IN A WHEELCHAIR

After her call with Willow, Nina becomes desperate, so she unlocks the wheels of Drew’s wheelchair in horror, when suddenly Drew speaks (as had been in the ABC promo for GH released on Monday), “What’s wrong, Nina? Get some bad news?” A shocked Nina replied, “Bad for me. Worse for you.” Suddenly, she pushes Drew’s wheelchair with Drew in it into the lake.

Meanwhile, the heart of the episode was brought by Steve Burton and Finn Carr who finally had the scenes where Jason and Rocco talk about what happened the night on the pier, when Rocco shot Cullum and Jason took the blame and was carted off by the WSB for several months.

Jason attempted to ease Rocco’s guilt telling him he is indebted to him for saving his life and Britt’s. When Rocco questioned if Jason would do the same thing all over again knowing how much it cost him, he told Rocco, that they both have to find a way to move on with their lives. Jason tells Rocco its best for him to try to let this all go. Can Rocco? Can Jason?

BRITT IS A COMMON THREAD OF JASON AND ROCCO

Rocco becomes emotional when talking to Jason about going on the run with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and how scared he was for her due to her “illness” with symptoms of Huntington’s.

Later, Jason comes to General Hospital and runs right into Britt, who is all smiles when she lays eyes on Jason. However, with Jason seemingly looking for a fresh start and a new outlook, is there any future for Britt and Jason after all that has happened? Stay tuned for the Monday, July 27 episode for some answers/

Now below, and in case you missed it, check out the scenes between Jason and Rocco from today’s GH.

Then let us know, what did you think of the performances of Steve Burton and Finn Carr? Do you think Nina just made everything 10,000 times worse, and Drew will be swimming around in no time in the water revealing he is A-OK much to the chagrin of Willow and Nina? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Trina Has a Stalker: Is it Simon, Quinn, or Someone From Her Past?

Published

Trina

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) looks to be the next soap opera character to fall under the “woman being stalked or the center of someone’s obsession,” soap trope, when in the closing moments of the Wednesday, July 22 episode of General Hospital, a bulletin board was revealed covered with various photos of the budding young singer who just landed her first record label deal.

Now that GH has launched this summer mystery, the soap opera gave us two potential culprits right off the bat, although they could be major red herrings, and someone else currently on the canvas, who would be the least likely person, could be the obsessed stalker. Or, could it be a blast from the past (think the ‘late’ Esme Prince) and someone who has an ax to grind with Trina?

Here’s what went down: Simon (Grady Eldridge) revealed to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina, that the record label wants Gio and Trina to sign separate artist deals, which surprised all three. Brook Lynn talks it over with her clients, and Gio is firm. He only wants to do the deal if he and Trina come as a package. After Simon learned of their decision, we later see him on a call. On the call he says although they had signed Trina and Gio, Trina was “the one to watch.”

QUINN SHOWS UP OUT OF NOWHERE WITH APOLOGIES FOR KAI AND TRINA

Meanwhile, Trina’s boyfriend Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) ran into former friend and football teammate Quinn (Jequan Jackson in his return to GH). The last time viewers saw Quinn was back in February of 2025, when after Kai’s injury that ended his football career, Quinn blamed this all on Trina for splitting Kai’s focus between football and her, when he needed to be concentrating on his career aspirations.

As Kai is waiting for Trina (following her meeting with music executive, Simon), Quinn shows up and apologizes to Kai for speaking to Trina so badly in the wake of his accident. Quinn hopes their friendship can be repaired. Suddenly, Trina arrives and is shocked to see Quinn. He promptly apologizes to her for his past mistake and hopes they could all hang out sometime.

When Quinn makes his exit, Trina informs Kai about what happened during the record label meeting and the two kiss as the camera pana to Quinn sitting in the corner table glowering at Trina and Kai. From there, we get the full on bulletin board with cut-out pics in  a Trina collage, and the camera comes in close, and then we fade to black.

So, what do you think is going on here? Who is the obsessed stalker, or who is wanting payback on Trina? Do you think Simon or Quinn are true suspects? Could it be a very much alive Esme Prince, or someone else entirely? Weigh-in with your picks via the comment section below.
