GH's Finola Hughes Chats Anna/Duke/Lucy, Vinessa Antoine, Crazies In Port Charles & Kimberly McCullough!

So, what’s the latest on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in the town of Port Charles? Well, as we head into November Sweeps the crazies are out in full force hatching their plots, while the PCPD chief is trying to keep everyone inside the law! And on the romantic front – watch out for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring)! Could she be a viable rival for Anna for the love of long time love, Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan)?
On-Air On-Soaps caught up with Daytime Emmy winner Finola Hughes for this “quickie” chat at Jen Lilley’s (Theresa, DAYS) very successful Stars Strike Out Child Abuse event to benefit Childhelp last week, and got some tidbits including: Will Anna ever figure out what has truly happened to her daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough)? Read on to find out Finola’s thoughts on it all!
Looks like Anna may have some competition for the affections of Duke (Ian Buchanan) from none other than Lucy Cue (Lynn Herring)! How do you feel about playing this kind of a romantic twist?

FINOLA: Oh, I think you got to shake it up. I love Lynn. So, the opportunity to perform some silly scenes with her is really going to be a plus. I have known Lynn forever, so it’s going to be fun.
One of the more recent big cliffhangers on GH was with you as Anna on one side of the door at the Crichton-Clark Clinic, and Robin (Kimberly McCullough) on the other! But they never saw each other! Does Anna truly believe Robin is not in any danger right now?
FINOLA: I know …we were on the other side of the doors! We shot the scene where Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Anna believed that Robin was in Paris, and that was the closure. But, I think they pick up the story a bit later. I actually shot something the other week that just might verbalize what Anna is thinking.
Everyone wants Anna to be the smart police commish and figure out the crimes, and not to be the last to know! (Laughs)

FINOLA: I think whenever I say anything I say as Anna, I think I know more than I am saying, so I try to play it like that! (Laughs)
You are performing this Thursday in Kimberly McCullough’s stage reading of Hey Day I know it’s kind of secret who everyone is playing in it, and who they are emulating, especially since this based on a soap opera in it’s “hey day”, plus it’s about a young ingenue thrust into the middle of the off-screen and on-screen world of the soap, “Doctors of Romance”!
FINOLA: Kimberly has been talking about this for a long, long time. It is going to be very funny. I know who I am supposed to be emulating in it. I have seen the scripts in various installations as it has gone along, as it has slowly developed.
How is working with Vinessa Antoine as Jordan? She is so Charlie’s Angels, and is fantastic!
FINOLA: Oh, my God …I love her. She is so Charlie’s Angels, and I love that. We always have fantastic conversations. I just really respect her. She is a really cool girl. She is a good egg, as they say.
Will Anna be busy in November Sweeps with all the crazies out in Port Charles?

FINOLA: There are so many crazies out. You can’t blink without seeing crazies! You turn around and you fall over a “crazie”! (Laughs)
So then, one can assume, Anna may be very busy cleaning up the crime-ridden streets of the town?
FINOLA: I think I come in on the tail end of it, sweeping up the sweeps … sweeping up the tail end of November Sweeps. (Laughs)
So, do you think Lucy will win the heart of Duke Lavery? Will Anna be able to stop the madness in Port Charles? Does Anna sense that Robin is in trouble, and will she ever find her? What do you think about the team of Jordan and Anna working together? Do you you enjoy their scenes? Share your comments below!
Anna should let Lucy have Duke, and wait for Robert who i believe will return to PC next year…no, Anna will never stop the madness…lol…i think Anna does know that Robin is in danger and is keeping quiet while she and Robert(off camera) secretly search for her…Anna and Jordans scenes i dont enjoy because its not too well written: they talk publically about cases where anyone can see them together…no one has seen them together yet and become suspicious which makes it even more dumb…jmo!!!
I agree about the scenes out in public! The only reason I like Jordan though, is that she’s another tough female ‘good guy”….like Anna. I loved that scene where she and Shawn faced down over guns, and Shawn blinked first!
I hope Anna gets to help Robin, but with KM’s availability, I know it’s tricky.
I like Jordans kick butt tough female ‘good guy’ too…
From your lips, Jim.
I adore Anna and…well…I will just leave it on a positive note.
She’s the best.
Jim, I pray you are right, wait for Robert Anna! They belong together. Tristan is wasted over at Y&R. He hasnt been on in a while and I’m hoping thats a sign he is leaving and coming back t PC! As for Duke, let him be a bad guy and take Sonny’s territory while Sonny rots in jail for killing AJ. I hope Olivia Jerome is alive and she and Duke hit it off!
I hope Sonny gets whats comin’ to him…
Could it be that Lynn is FINALLY going to get a storyline? If so,.yippie! Her talent is being so wasted as a backdrop! Go Lucy catch Duke! 🙂
I love Finola Highes, she is a terrific actress. Finola is too skinny, The woman needs to eat a cheese burger, fries and a milk shake. LOL. Please Finola you need to gain some weight.
I wasn’t aware there was a Anna/Lucy/Duke scenario seeing as how we only see these folks together every 4 weeks or so … does anyone care when there is zero continuity to this story. Frankly, I can do without Lucy’s shrieking when she IS on. I hope Tristan Rogers returns because Anna & Robert are better than Anna & Duke any day of the week!
As for Robin, is anyone missing her? I’m not.
I actually love Duke (love Robert too and miss him.) But in all fairness…Duke’s barely been on so there’s no dynamic between them to love or not. I’m not sure if it’s Ron’s call or if Ian’s schedule doesn’t afford him the time to give more. Frustrating. I was so happy when he came back…
I miss Robin.
As for Robin i can ‘take her or leave her’…i know KM is off doing other things like directing and i wish the actress well but her kidnapping every several months is redundant and has stagnated the character making her almost useless and boring…Lucy would be fine if Kevin would just put her on some meds…lol
Recast Robin.
I agree, ces. With so many recurring actors, it is easy to lose track of characters and storylines. The cast needs to be slimmed down. I love seeing Lucy Coe more. I enjoy seeing Lucy in small doses. Love her in scenes with Scotty and Bobbie-always comical.
That’s what I’m saying DMR — there isn’t enough continuity with these storylines like Lucy/Scott/Bobbie or Anna/Duke the gay trio which I can’t even remember their names for some reason — I was enjoying watching them but the stories come & go every other 2 weeks and it’s hard to invest.
Lucy Coe is like Kramer on Seinfeld — (small doses is right!!)
I do like Ian Buchanan and the character Duke, but if Robert came back, hands down Anna should be with him. I don’t know, maybe IB is busy with other stuff.
Robin — she can stay gone. Well, then again, they may need her since Patrick won’t have much to do since Silas is available and Jason is back for Sam. Doesn’t she have a trio of men? 🙂
Just going to throw this in there … tired of those damn BLT’s!
I agree, Ces. A few of the newcomers have started to grow on me-Jordan, for one. Morgan has really shown maturity and I have begun to like him. I think Bryan Craig working with powerhouses like Maurice Benard and Maura West have helped shape him as an actor. The cast needs to be trimmed down a bit. I also like Billy Miller as “Jake.”
love finola hughes and love anna, and jordan, but if they are going to be charlie angels, then they need a third member, and no not sam, lol. regardless, to me both characters come across as smart and beautiful, if they ever come across the opposite i blame the writing for that. i don’t know if RC knows it would be much better if he didn’t dumb down certain characters just to make the villains look good, but i think i know who can be the third angel, i nominate Felicia, she use to be a p.i and could kick butt too, at least back in the day. i wish RC would showcase these 3 beauties and did them justus. just look at the primetime shows where you see girls kicking butt and taking no prisoners.
Felicia is OK. But, I vote for a lady who could more than hold her own with both Anna & Jordan in the brains dept (which Felicia kind of lacks), & in hair color & wardrobe – Diane Miller! I never see enough of her, and she’s just unpredictable enough to not be tied down by the “good” or the “bad” guys.
I really like Anna( Finola Hughes and Jordan( Vinessa Antoine !!
they are a woman’s woman!!
((guess Dante is 3rd angel )
ohh my! Duke and Lucy!! now that is daring, for sure!
I like Lynn/Lucy, but she really needs to calm down..
She’s drives me to nervous!
wish she would be more real ..
lol on Dante!!
Yeah, I don’t have a problem with Lynn but yeah, she makes me neurotic when I watch her!
I wish it was possible to bring back Alexandra Devane or that Rosalie could be Leonora
Duke and Lucy! Really? Duke and Lucy is so random. It’s nothing but a joke and I can’t take it serious. It;s not even believable. I wish this regime would learn how to write angst for a couple without turning it into a triangle or interference from a third party.
I have always loved the forbidden love of the mobster and the port charles police chief. Duke and Anna always brought so much to the screen. And the chemistry between the two is undeniable. I liked Robert and Anna as ex’s and parents to Robin but hated them romantically. Duke and Anna will always be my favorite
supercouple of all times. But I don’t think this regime has captured the essence of what made Duke and Anna so popular. They are a signature GH couple but I would not know that by looking at them in this era. And that’s very shameful because the focus has never been on them. They really never got a story. I’m grateful that Ron brought them back, but I wished the writing would represent and support the history of the characters. I love Duke and Anna together.
I’m torn. I love Anna with Robert; they just had a great rapport…banter…comraderie…he was always so crazy about her (and Holly…would be fun if they brought her back full time). But I agree…I love Ian…and I always loved Duke. They were THE romantic couple back in the day. He’s just such a combination of debonair and vulnerable, romantic and clever…but they took all the feist, the danger out of him. I liked when they paired him with AJ…two souls looking to reclaim their lives. Duke could have made a great friend to AJ…a once-mob guy to help AJ go up against Sonny if need be. But they stripped Duke of his power, relegating him to the relish war, bringing Anna sandwiches and playing grandpa to Emma. Sad…he’s still so worthy of a romantic lead…
Finola is such a great actress – I never FF her scenes. Every day she’s on GH is a good day 🙂
No FF for her or Anthony Geary!
Love both!! hopefully they wont have Luke with Tracy anymore though. I really can’t handle her screaming all her lines anymore.
She thinks she’s coming in at the end, sweeping up the sweeps. Translation- Anna will be the last to know anything and will only be used as the cop who is called in after everyone else saves the day. Not looking forward to that.
Finola Hughes is such a great actress and Anna Devane is a Soap Icon. How this fine actress is used and what has become of her super smart/super spy character is just a crime. It just baffles me that TPTB think that more people would like to see Nina talk about her list, act crazy and steal a baby, rather than see Anna Devane or other soap icons like Felicia Jones and Lucy Coe.
Sweeping up the sweeps=Dumbte and the Wooden Toy Soldier getting all the scenes and Anna coming in and wrapping it up. Why in Gods name do we have to sit through second and third rate acting when you have veteran powerhouses on the back burner?
Oh, lord more silly wacky hijinx? I can honestly say I couldn’t care less about this particular triangle since it basically came out of left field and it has no substance…Plus, I could really do with out Anna being associated with the silly wacky hi jinx of Lucy/Duke. Here’s a great idea, let Lucy have Duke and let Anna be the tough commissioner and let her finally solved a case and take down some villians since the town is in overload of them…I’m also praying the Robert is on his way back..Devane and Scorpio were the best crime fighter port charles ever had and that city needs the best team ever.
It is really a shame that Cartini continues not to use one of the best actresses in the genre. From how I am reading this Anna will not be involved in sweeps until the very end. But instead we continue to get the Liver and YR show as usual. Obviously its no coincidence that the ratings have been suffering lately. In addition it appears we are getting a ridiculous triangle with Duke and Lucy that is obviously just filler and will be seen maybe twice a month. What a waste. The only thing I do agree with is getting Anna away from Duke who is a complete dud and with whom Anna has zero chemistry. Bring back Robert, they excel in story together and have an unmatchable dynamic.
I wasn’t around when Duke and Anna fell in love the first time, and they’ve had so little to play that I don’t really care about them as a couple. In fact, their scenes bore me. However, as actors, I highly respect them and hope that they, especially Finola, get some “meat” to bite into soon.
Duke and Anna all the way. I think you have to have watch them in the 80’s in order to appreciate that relationship….or jump on youtube. This Lucy triangle is ridiculous. Not even sure why she is involved with duke and anna anyhow or how she became so attached to duke. I think the writers are using this storyline as comic relief. Love robin, but this whole storyline is crazy and makes everyone connected look stupid. Poor Anna has yet to solve a case since her return. General hospital has such a big cast, because they think acquiring actors from other soaps is the way to get viewers. Franco, Kiki, Silas, Nina and company all need to go. If I was interested in these actors, I would have watched oltl or y&r.
Loved Duke and Anna of the 80s but I don’t like them at all in this era, I think they they lacked chemistry and tbh, they bored me, they’re being wasted on filler nonsense and adding Lucy to the mix for a every other month comic relief filler show won’t make them watchable either, I’ll just FFwed it because I hate it when vets are only used for comic relief. Where is kevin? that’s the guy and story I really want to see Lucy involved with and I want Anna to be the smart cop/spies and solved some crime.
Let Lucy find her own man – love Lynn but Lucy needs to stop with the love triangles. Go find your own man. It would be fun to see her with someone dangerous like Jerry Jax or one of the missing Cassadines. If you must put her in a triangle have her battle it out with Liesl for the affections of Faison.
I dislike how Ron has written the character of Anna. She used to be this sexy super spy, off to solve world problems or never letting the bad guys get the best of her for long. She was savvy, she was intelligent and she had great instincts with respect to her daughter. Now, she’s a incompetent law enforcement officer, that has yet to solve a case, criminals always get the best of her, her instincts are gone and she gets brought in to do the clean up on sweeps, kind of like the guy behind the elephants. She’s too good of an actress and character to be diminished in such an obvious way. I want the real Anna back and this isn’t her.
I totally agree with, I could understand if the police commissioner role was being played by a non lead actor or recurring character but to have a lead actor play the role then have it dumd down is beyond my grasp and it’s irratating to say the least.
I love Anna and Robert. Duke is cool to but he is not on enough for newer fans to understand their chemistry. No triangles with Lucy. She is wacky and Duke is not. Have Lucy fall for Sinus/Silas! Maybe she can wake him up and let down his hair!
haha!! Nina woke him up for a minute but with Sam, he falls back to sleepy. He’d never sleep with Lucy’s screeching.
I also agree that Anna and the PCPD always appear to be inept in gathering clues or solving cases (Dante is the worst detective-always discussing the cases that he is working on). I would like the PCPD to solve a case on its own-without the help from the Mob or other criminals. I love Finola; but, I hate how Anna looks inept as the Commissioner.
They should give the show to Anna. She is one of the best female characters in soap history and they are wasting her. Even without Robert and Robin around, there could be so much for her to do.
Dan, yes. She is the Emma Peel of daytime.
She manages to be a woman over fifty who doesn’t act silly and still manages to be sexy through self empowerment.
I hope against hope for the return of Robert Scorpio. And I hope for his return to be cloaked in a veil of secrecy as his first entrance was back in the 80’s. That is, I want Robert to erupt out of the fog on a pier wearing his London Fog coat to help Anna.
I love Duke but frankly, he is Anna’s Uncle Arthur to her Samantha Stephens.
oh Harry…I think Anna/Finola Hughes is sexy because she’s, well…sexy. Great hair, skin…model-thin figure, very hip/cool look…and that accent. She’s just a great looking woman…in addition to her self empowerment.
Duke as Uncle Arthur? Hilarious as always…but I beg to differ….. As I mentioned above I LOVE Duke and the fault lies (well, like, errr…LOL..obviously) with the writers! Why oh why have they relegated him to grandpa, relish and sandwiches. It think instead of Samantha Stevens and Uncle Arthur it’s more like dumb and dumber. Bring back Anna and Duke…the real ones! (read up on their history, Ron…).
@Harry and rebecca1….Count me in as another fan of the Fab Finola!!!! She’s smart, sophisticated and savvy, plus she possesses the most phenomenal, whippet-thin physique, no doubt due to the discipline derived from her dancing days. (And by the way, she does NOT need to gain weight, Donna!) My only complaint is that “Anna” is not being allowed to display all those admirable, awesome personality traits embodied in FH….her greatest talents are being squandered, as she has become a caricature of her formerly fearsome self under this regime. The redoubtable Devane is accustomed to stepping up and playing with the big boys, not being reduced to participating in a ridiculous “girl power” farce with “Foxy Brown,” who, incidentally, is supposedly an experienced DEA field agent, yet she was able to be overtaken by the mere likes of Heather Webber??? Yeah, I’m really impressed with Jordan…NOT! As for the question of pairing Anna with Lavery vs. Scorpio, I also consistently wish for the return of Robert. Even after all these years, TR has retained the charisma, sparkle and energy of his character, which sadly, cannot be said for IB. He simply lacks the excitement that Duke once brought to GH….it has been apparent for quite some time, and although I truly like the actor and originally hailed his homecoming to Port Charles , I just don’t enjoy him with Anna anymore…the magic is gone.
No. I’m not interested in seeing Duke & Lucy. There’s no way Duke would be interested in Lucy. I noticed that the last few times Lucy & Duke were on Lucy was in the scenes with them. I have to agree with the other posters. The 3 aren’t on enough for this to make sense.
Also, I didn’t KNOW that if an actor has been on another soap then they could not join GH!! Gosh, I guess Sonny has to go then, cuz MB was on AMC 1st. Anna can go too because she was on AMC too. Same w/Julian! WD was on AMC. Maxie, it’s been nice knowing you, but you were on DOOL..so you gotta go! Bye Alexis (take Julian w/you)- NLG was on Santa Barbara, and Melrose Place if you want to call that a soap. Carly (sick of her anyway) bye- LW was on GL, The City AND Loving-repeat offender! Ric, you’re a repeat offender too-Days, GL, AND Y&R, Shawn you were on Y&R, Ned you were on Days, Olivia-The City and Yikes! OLTL! And finally: Steve Burton, you can never come back because you played on Days before GH! Hell, you should’ve never been on the show. Even though you’re an ACTOR and are trying to make a living.
I don’t like the way the TPTB have written Anna, she has always been a strong independent women! She is mostly clueless, for her not too know something is up with Robin is crazy! Lucy and Duke, where did that come from, Duke has hardly been on screen, so again something out of left field, no story, no build up.
I will come back to watching the show when Robert and Anna have joined up and are winning, Duke lied to Anna to save scummy. Bye Duke Anna is almost as brain dead as Patrick where Robin in concerned. I have no interest in the show the way TIIC are now doing things. I will not say writing these things. Anyone get the idea Guza is hiding in the closet, Jason is back and does that mean the keystone cops can’t find their own butts and Jason will save the day. Plus the murderer will win again. Now that the ratings have been fixed wonder how many points they will go down ? I have to say something nice I do like Anna.,and not much else.
Anna and Jordan are great together and I think they will get to the bottom of most all the crimes hopefully soon. As far as Duke goes can’t believe he could fall for silly Lucy he loves Anna!
love fiona (anna) she so good actress hope she didn’t leave the show because it not the same without our commissionner devane let her be there and robert miss him too
anna end off duke lucycoe life

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.
Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.
As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY
Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.
Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.
In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”
So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
