GH’s Kristina Wagner On Felicia’s Concern Over Maxie’s Emotional State

While Maxie (Kirsten Storms) knows exactly where baby Louise is, not many other people know, especially her mother, Felicia (Kristina Wagner).

Now, with Kristina Wagner back on-contract at General Hospital, it opens up more angles to play in the ongoing saga of “What happened to Maxie and Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) Baby?”

GH viewers know that Louise is “Bailey” and being taken of by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).  However, according to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, look for Felicia to be very worried over Maxie’s attitude toward finding her baby.

Wagner shared to SOD on Felicia: “She is absolutely concerned about Maxie. Why is she behaving this way? Is she traumatized to a point where she is not frantically looking for her baby?”

The actress goes on to say about her alter-ego: “Felicia thinks ‘What is wrong with you?  Your baby’s missing. Why are you not (falling apart)?’ And Maxie says, ‘I have to stay calm for my other children.’  She has a way of justifying it, but Felicia is questioning Maxie’s behavior.”

Look for Felicia to be more determined than ever to help find Maxie’s baby, which we know could spell trouble for everyone!

So, do you hope Felicia learns the truth about Louise, and helps Maxie with her cover-up? Or do you hope Felicia helps get the little one back in Maxie’s arms sooner than later? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

I think it’s actually kind of insulting that Anna, Felicia, and Mac – with all their combined years in cop and/or spy related experience – can’t seem to put 6+6+6 together with the obvious clues that Maxie knows EXACTLY where her baby is, and that’s why she’s not as upset about her “missing” child as one would expect her to be.

Furthermore, if Louise were REALLY missing, wouldn’t Maxie have called her daddy Frisco about it by now? Yes, they don’t have the ideal father/daughter relationship, but there’s no way that Frisco wouldn’t overturn every rock between Hell and Port Charles looking for his grandchild, if Maxie asked him to. And are we to believe that Frisco knows nothing about any of this??

Of course this is all being dragged out for the purposes of propping Whiny Heiny, and to a lesser degree, Chase – who inserted himself into the situation.

Satan, I love you dearly, but please don’t cast my darling Chase in a bad light. But your point is well made: Chase can figure out this mess, and Tracy in even less time. But the intrepid WSB is at a loss once again. It must be embarrassing for intelligent actors like Finola Hughes and Tristan Rogers to “play dumb”. At least when Dante plays dumb, it’s entirely believable…almost second nature.

I’m neutral on Chase. Don’t hate him, don’t really like him…. I just don’t think he belonged in this story. Val the bastard was really a much better fake daddy for that poor kid, because he had his own issues with Whiny Heiny, and in my most unholy opinion, it would have been better if Maxie & BrookLynn had let him in on the plan. Yeah he might have been upset that BrookLynn lied to him to preserve her family’s business interest, but he would have kept up the act to keep the kid safe from Heiny.

Chase SHOULD have issues with Heiny – he did almost poison him to death after all – but he seems to have forgotten all about that.

I absolutely adore Chase but wish they’d stop writing him as some hapless Disney character. As far as both you and Satan pointing out the obvious; that is, that the WSB experts and detectives were unable to connect the dots, is insulting at best, and of course, I agree. Geez. Please end this irritating, endless and stupid storyline! But of course to do that, they’d have to kill off Peter. For some inexplicable reason, they are unable kill off a character all the fans hate but are perfectly able to kill off babies. Back to the subject at hand; I am delighted to see the effervescent Felicia back. I love her, and I love her dynamics with Maxie. Kristen Wagner’s Felicia is a true treasure, and so ageless. I just love her.

You’re right about KW aging very well. For the second time this month, the hair department harkened back to a classic style. First, Tracy and her retro braid buns, then Tuesday, Felicia with a braided ponytail at yoga. Granted, back in the day KW had much longer hair, but it still is reminiscent of her first years on the show.

Satan-Mac has been more of a father to Maxie than Frisco has ever been. Frisco is Maxie’s father in name only. Mac, however, has been a consistent presence in Maxie’s life.

The unfortunate writing of Frisco as a “deadbeat dad” isn’t the issue here though. It’s the fact that he’s the supposed leader of the WSB, which is supposed to be an elite spy/law enforcement agency. Certainly somebody who one would want to have as a resource if their child was missing.

So in other words, a big red flag to the fact that the child is not actually missing.

At least the writers finally realized they were missing a beat (or 2) in this storyline. Thank goodness Tracy is being portrayed as her normal smart self and easily figured it out. Then again, she knew BLQ was never pregnant.

How much longer do they need to stretch Heinrik’s existence on this show?

I think Felicia should just come right out and ask Maxi if she knows more than she is saying. She doesn’t seem to bothered by upsetting her in other ways even going to such lengths of going to G.H and seeking out a doctor friend for help.
Has she ever asked herself if Maxi doesn’t want her baby found, then why not and go from there. I can’t believe that she and the others have not figured out the obvious answer, PETER!

Published

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
