It’s a big day for the Julexis Army!  It looks like their favorite duo is about to become closer!

On Friday’s GH, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) came to visit Julian (William deVry) in the hospital with that look of love in her eyes! And today, the story picks up where Alexis says to her man, “I never let a pair of handcuffs get in my way.” However, the actors who bring Julexis to life, Nancy Lee Grahn and William deVry chatted it up with TV Guide at the recent ABC TCA Press Tour, where they divulged some secrets on working with each other, love scenes, engaging with fans on Twitter, and more!

In addition, Nancy discussed the concept of her digital series, GH Now! Watch the quickie video with Nancy and Will after the jump, and then a preview with the duo from Monday’s episode of General Hospital!

Then let us know, are you ready for Julexis to reunite?  But, are you in despair knowing that Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) just found out she’s preggers and Julian looks to be the baby daddy?  Share your thoughts below!

Alexis can use her booby traps to snag another man…give her to Pop and Fresh Doughboy Scott Baldwin…its team Olivia and Julian all the way…lol

I know its just a soap but if i go to the hospital or doctors office they tell me right away if i have the flu and not by telephone…

I’m with you, Jim. I love Olivia with Julian. I also loved her with Ned.
The only one whom I did not love her with was Sonny and that Ken doll doctor whose name suddenly escapes me.
I thought she had amazing chemistry with Johnny too

@ harry. Steven Lars! haha-ha.
Yeah, I’m so into Olivia & Julian / Olivia & Ned. Oh, yes, she was super hot with Johnny Z! Those were the days.

@jimh….We’ve already previously discussed the highly sensitive subject matter that you’ve so graciously shared here with fellow posters, and given that, I should hope that in no circumstance would you ever consider my flip, saucy quips regarding Alexis—or anyone other soap character’s quirky tendencies or annoying physical attributes—to translate into mocking the real life travails you—or anyone else with similar difficulties–have battled. On the contrary, in my last year of high school I volunteered during one of my study halls to be an assistant in a disabled students’ class…nothing major, just serving lunch, helping with lessons, and maybe providing a friendly smile and/or a chat. It was a wonderful experience, and as such, I obviously would have NEVER condoned the abuse you endured during your school days from other pupils, let alone those absolutely appalling teachers. Ditto for the disgusting behavior you were recently subjected to at the mall….let’s just say there are many personal inadequacies on display in today’s world, and the woman who made that uncalled-for comment was actually the one who was lacking in human capacity, even though she seemed clueless to that fact. Yet, despite all those indignities that you’ve have suffered, jimh, you have never been anything but warm, welcoming, self-effacing, and a joy to behold on this website, and I always look forward to discovering what you have to say….and I’m glad the situation is vice-versa, since we seem to share a certain well-honed, wry wit, not unlike that of our beloved Harry—and CeeCee, too. That’s why while I never have a problem with disagreement of my posts, I wouldn’t want my more mirthful moments to be misinterpreted as a lack of respect for those who have any sort of condition of which they’ve neither chosen, nor possess the ability to correct….that is not at all what my remarks are about, rather they tend to be ones debating questions of propriety, taste and appropriateness, albeit it in a sometimes snarky manner. At any rate, after reading your response to rebecca1, I just wanted to be sure to address it at my first opportunity, since I would never want to offend someone as nice as you!

Enough with Nancy Graham body bashing, please. Her “boobs” are not a prop…they’re part of her body. Have no idea why a handful of you have decided it’s okay to criticize this beautiful woman’s body every time her character comes up. There must be more important things to say about Alexis other than her cleavage. Why do I keep reacting to this overused ad nauseum reference? It’s annoying, insulting and redundant. Take a look at the reaction to the leaked photos of Cindy Crawford. Personally I’m still wondering if that’s even her body…and if it is it was obviously in some grainy light that’s exaggerated or magnified her less than perfect parts. But the point is instead of being roundly criticized and critiqued, she was applauded for being a real woman with a realistic body that is older than her younger model self…and Nancy was one of the first to applaud her. The kicker in all this is Alexis/Nancy looks great..which is really beside the point….

Rebecca1, where is your sense of humor…you should know by now im the Soap Jester…im only joking and not bashing…i actually liked NG since her Santa Barbara days…im not too much into her Alexis character but i blame the writing on that…lol

One more thing i was joking about Scott too but you didnt say anything about that…lol…and i love Cindy Crawford!!!

Hi jimh..I know you’re a sweetie pie and unfortunately my comment was in response to your post…but you do know that a few of our friends here have consistently made reference to Nancy Graham’s body, her age , her sexuality in relation to her age and that she should not be dpshowing her cleavage which open said…”is no longer an asset” as one ages. I find the constant reference to that offensive as a woman and as a person whi doesn’t appreciate ageism or insuts to others appearance. Something harmlessly said in jest is one thing…constantly critiquing and judging another is just shallow, mean and haughty.m( I’m not saying you are any of those things.) and, I did defend “Scott” as well in a separate comment…it didn’t make the cut. You and your great comments are still one if my favs out here…

Well, rebecca1, we all have different tastes and aesthetics when it comes to what constitutes beauty…or NOT! I do know that LLC has a gorgeous complexion, stunning features, luscious locks and a normally bodacious figure….she is wearing her pregnancy very well, even though it is now past the point of denying it…this storyline is obviously quite a bit behind the times….LOL. Moreover, one of the things I LOVE about Olivia is even though she is unquestionably sexy and alluring, she knows when to put it out there and when to keep it under wraps….it ceases to be special or interesting when it is on constant display, and I don’t mean that just in reference to your favorite subject who you so voraciously defend, but any woman who thinks serving it up on a platter for all to see, all the time, is attractive!!!! On the contrary, it looks desperate and pathetic. P.S. For the record, I was also less than impressed with Cindy Crawford’s latest publicity stunt. She more than had her day in the sun during her supermodel years, and now that she has hit middle age, she is finally beginning to show it. SO WHAT? How is this news? I simply do not understand this overwhelming obsession with having to flaunt one’s less-than-perfect attributes…why? Does misery love company? I say make the most of what you’ve got and “accentuate the positive, eliminate (or at least, conceal…) the negative!” And most of all, quit “over-sharing!”

Thanks for the reply Rebecca1…i understand more than you know…from 4th grade to 12th grade, and beyond i had classmates and others constantly insulting me for my appearance…in school i attempted suicide it got so bad…i know im not good looking but to hear it everyday even from teachers got to be too much…i no longer really care what people think…if someone doesnt like me i say thats their problem not mine…ill change for myself but not to please and be accepted by others…me i was just joking about Alexis and Scott…they look fine to me…im disabled and use a cane and recently i was at our mall and a woman with two young children said, ‘do you see the three legged man’…i felt sorry for the woman…she doesnt realize that maybe someday she or her kids might one day be like me or worse…many dont teach their children to respect each other anymore…but thats our sad way of the world…p.s., youre one of my favorites too as are CeeCee, Shay, Harry, and several others even if we sometimes agree and disagree!!!

On the contrary, rebecca1, I totally get what you are saying….this is THE soapbox issue for you….and as such, you disapprove of my views and commentary on the subject because it bears no semblance to yours. Fine. I can deal with the fact we don’t agree….why can’t you? You certainly don’t think that all of your own “high horse” pontificating or tsk-tsk-ing of me is going to change my mind, do you? The fact of the matter is that we have very different outlooks on many things….so what??? Just because you don’t like what I have to say doesn’t mean I shouldn’t say it….and vice versa. I simply happen to lack an appreciation for what I term today’s less decorous state of society….and that includes a wide swath of material in the media! (Like Kim K.’s frequently disrobed grotesque proportions, Miley Cyrus’ appalling, look-at-me selfies, Madonna’s exhibitionist antics, etc…) However, if something is put out for public consumption, then it is there to be critiqued….especially if it is brought into one’s home in the most visual means possible, via wide-screen, high-definition glory five days a week. It’s rather hard to ignore. So, while we are primarily speaking of the one particular case at hand, it also extends to other instances, as well….I personally tend to believe in erring on the side of modesty and good taste…..some of us still do, and that does not make us “antiquated.” (Actually, it used to be referred to as being “well-bred.”) That’s just me, which means, in general, I am not disposed to wanting to see anyone constantly letting it “all hang out,” be they young and pulchritudinous, old and saggy, or somewhere in between….particularly on a regular basis. And declaring so, and commenting about those who don’t follow that same standard certainly doesn’t necessarily make a person immature or mean-spirited…it’s only making an observation. While I do admit that such opinions have generally been aimed at the singular, glaring example of your dear Alexis, I have also previously commented on some of Sam’s more skimpy fashion moments, as well, and I obviously think KM is extremely lovely and fetching, so it’s not simply a case of whom I deem to be attractive vs. unattractive, but one of style. To which I again state, so what? I simply don’t understand why this bothers you so much…..it’s not as if my flippancy is personally directed at you, yet for some reason you seem to take umbrage to it. As for all this talk about ageism, body image issues and insecurities, that is where there is too much emphasis….it is discussed to death, and I can neither relate to nor understand it. Whatever physical gifts we are given, we should make the most of them at all stages of life….as far as I’m concerned, being fabulous is a timeless concept! As is elegance, grace and class…..we needn’t look any further than Donna Mills and Constance Towers to witness that….these two beautiful ladies are the epitome of such ideals, and they manage to display it in a most genteel, immaculate and dignified way!

Rebecca, I was not guilty of said offense this time but I have been in the past so your admonishment should be directed toward me too.
I am sure this says more about me than it does about the woman in question but I really do not want to see anyone’s, young or old, male or female, cleavage. It’s especially hard to engage with such a person in real life because your eyes automatically are drawn down there….to that great abyss of life. Maybe I see things too metaphorically but frankly, I find it distracting. I don’t feel anyone was being critical of the actresses’ body, but she does like to show off her girls. So does the actor who plays Nathan. I don’t care to see his man boobs either.
And I am sorry I called Steven Lars a Ken doll. I truly forgot his name. I don’t want The Ken Doll Society coming after me brandishing beach balls and volleyballs.

Jimh…I replied to your very personal post and I thought it made it through…last I checked it went from awaiting moderation to replied…now I don’t see it. Exasperating. You choose to share very private matters about yourself and through that you paint a strong person who unfortunately has endured a lot. What we on this site are privileged to know is a vey intelligent, creative, warm person who is very much appreciated. The world is full of insensitive, hurtful people…and it’s sad that we have to be subjected to them…big hug! 🙂

@jimh….Actually, I previously suggested “Fluke” would be a better mate for the perpetually randy Alexis…..especially since it has become more than boring to see her crawling back to Jerome—time and time again—-simply because she can’t turn off her “Julian Jones.” Today’s “sucking face session” was unbelievably banal and perfunctory. Where all these posters get that this is such a hot and epic romance is beyond me. Julivia is where it’s at….particularly with this most propitious pregnancy…thank you, soap gods! And I’m also with Harry and Jeremy about Liv’s sizzling chemistry with not only Julian, but her previous leading men… Ms. Falconeri is a truly physically beautiful and spirited woman, with personality and moxie to spare! On all counts, she leaves Alexis in the dust! Hail “Julivia!!!!!”

Alexis and Fluke wouldve been awesome…

Nice try, Shay…but I’d venture to say there are those of us who think Alexis is gorgeous, spirited, a brilliant attorney who can give Olivia a run for her money. The difference is we can appreciate both actresses/characters and not have to resort to petty comments which insult someone’s body to do it.

Shay…I’m going to give this one more try. You don’t seem to grasp what I’ve been saying. Let me start with the unimportant. I love Olivia, too. I, too, think the character/actress is extremely attractive. I also love her as Dante’s mother, Lulu’ smother- in-law, Loved her with Johnny, with Sonny, with Julian, with Ned. THAT’S not what I posted about or have posted about in response to you in the past. And I hate to see anyone jump on the infantile, judgmental, bandwagon. Yeah, it bothers me. I am talking about the constant reference to Nancy Graham’s body which you don’t find attractive, have deemed too ” middle-aged” to be seen and don’t want to see. Get off your high horse. You truly sound antiquated and at the same time immature. As for Cindy Crawford, I think you misunderstood that as well. She didn’t leak that photo. I highly doubt a gorgeous woman known for her beauty and being a supermodel would purposely leak a photo of herself with lines, wrinkles and stretch marks. Jamie Lee Curtis on the other hand purposely did a photo shoot years ago but let it be known she was doing so for a reason. Back in her day she had an incredible body. Not so much anymore. She wanted women to know that perfection doesn’t last and that bodies age, change…is natural and actors and models go thru that too. Her attempt was to lessen the burden that women carry with unrealistic expectations and feeling insecure about themselves…people like you who find it necessary to point out others physical flaws are far more damaging to the heart and soul than wrinkles are to the eye…

I have made comments such as ‘NLG’s bra deserves a best supporting actress award.’ I have also taken issue with the redundant storyline in which Alexis discovers she likes sex. Okay, okay, Alexis, we get it–you are a recovering born again virgin. Rebecca, in theory I completely agree with you. We live in an ageist society and it’s getting worse. (Check out Frances McDormand on Aging/Youtube–it will sing to you). I just don’t feel I have seen examples of ageism directed toward NLG by commentators on this forum. I am also one to pick on folks’ fashion choices like Sam’s God awful jeggings. I honestly do not feel Alexis looks her best in attire which showcase her boobs. I would say the same thing about Lulu or Maxie if they were constantly showing their cleavage. To me, it’s not about age. Alexis looks her best in an oxford blouse and a pair of blue jeans. She has terrific legs which she should show off. I still say they ought to appoint Duke of Bloomingdale’s as the chief of the fashion police because I see many violators wandering around Port Charles. What’s next? Scotty running around in Yoga pants? The horror, the horror.
Jim? I wanted to cry with anger when I read your post. A mother actually told her kids,”Look at that three legged man?” She will reap what she sows because one day when she is using a walker or a cane her children will not be there to assist her. And I bet you ARE beautiful, inside and out.
Shakespeare writes,”Honor and Beauty in the Owner’s Arms are Weakly Fortress’d in a World of Harms.” We have to hold on tight to our sense of ourselves, our sense of beauty and honor as we navigate through this “world of arms.” Keep holding on, Jim.
PS. I apologize for getting so personal but I felt a little bit overwhelmed with emotion when I read Jim’s post/

Harry…you know I enjoy your comments; you crack me up! I thought your Duke of Bloomingdales was hilarious the first time you wrote it. As for fashion commentary and critique..love it, too. Part of the fun of “scrutinizing” our soap buds. What I don’t like and stand by is making fun of, insulting, ripping apart, judging, someone’s looks…be it their face, weight, height…their age…etc. while commenting on Alexis ala Nancy it wasn’t about showing cleavage…it was commented numerous times by someone that they are middle aged and her boobs are no longer an asset…and other such personal comments. These actors as we all know are just people doing a job, who sometimes read these comments…and there’s no difference if we insulted each other’s looks if we posted here with pics…then mocking an actor’s body. If we’re critiquing a fictitious character and her style..that’s one thing. That’s about wardrobe. But when someone refers to someone as having middle aged cleavage that should not be seen, is no longer attractive,,.thats crossing the line. Perhaps you haven’t read or seen those many comments by the same poster..or it doesn’t bother you. It’s your right not to be offended…we all have different sensibilities. If a male actor had a small, lol, “package” and his pants, hahahah…jeez…his wardrobe somehow indicated so…I doubt said actor would appreciate the ” observation.” Point is we don’t need to insult anyone on a personal level…and yes, as a female i find it offensive whether it be on this site or Rex Reed insulting Melissa McCarthy’s weight. Unnecessary and mean-spirited.

Rebecca, I think you brought up a very important issue and I think the debate which transpired between you and Shay was intelligent and thought provoking and I thought you both handled yourselves very well showing others that it’s okay to disagree. No, I guess I had not seen the comments referencing NLG’s age being a detriment to her being viewed as a sexual and attractive women. I have not seen it here anyway, but I have seen some vicious remarks on other forums, not just about her but about other actresses. I thank you for bringing this topic up because I think it’s an important one. While I will probably continue to make cracks (no pun intended) about Alexis’s cleavage I will be careful not to incorporate ageism into those cracks.

Thank you, Harry. And you better continue crackin’…this site wouldn’t be the same if you de- cracked!

Love that Julexis are finally getting back together. LLC seems to awesome person but I don’t really care for the character of Olivia so I’m annoyed by this quad story.

Love Julexis, Nancy and Will so much! Best pairing on GH! I’m looking forward to their story.

Love love love that they are getting back together!!! I don’t like that Olivia’s pregnant but I think they’ll be ok. They weren’t together and Alexis was with Ned the same night so she can’t really be mad and they’ve made it clear the ONS was pretty meaningless to Julian. Plus it’s not like Alexis doesn’t have kids from different men ha.

Just excited for what’s to come for them!!

Loved this video!!! And I’m sooooo happy Julian/Alexis are reuniting. It’s about time. NYE was a complete fail.

Let’s see more of Julian and Olivia! I must find that NYE episode on hulu, and re-watch the unexpectedly hot chemistry between Julian & Olivia.

Yep. This brings an interesting dynamic – Dante’s sibling will be a Jerome, meaning Sonny will have to play nice with Julian…

Sonny is already connected to the Jerome’s…he’s the father to one of them! His daughter Christina is also the sister of Julian’s daughter (Sam) so one more Jerome in the family just expands their interconnected families…

Thanks for sharing the videos. I floved the Julian/Alexis scenes today. So sweet. Julexis are adorable. I hope we get a little more happy before the next angst-fest.

Ok let me start out by saying that I love Alexis and I like julianbut it’s silly how this story is playing out, they are not teenagers but somehow they both act like they are. Both are old enough to know better, the fact that there’s any obstacle keeping them apart is silly and not convincing both along with Olivia and Ned need to grow up and leave the teen stuff to Kiki Morgan or better yet tj and Molly.

Olivia will try to cover up the fact that Julian is her child’s father with a little
help from Ned, for the time being…. Julian and Alexis really do
LOVE each other, let happiness reign in their lives 4 a bit.

I love this video, and I love that Julian & Alexis have reunited! Love them together SO much! Best duo in all of daytime. Beautiful, smart, sexy, playful and with killer chemistry to boot. Julexis are irresistible and the hottest thing happening on General Hospital! I look forward to Julexis facing whatever obstacles come their way together, as a bonded couple.

I love Julian and Alexis, great chemistry with the actors, great acting choices, bringing their best game. Not hung up on any ageist sexist double standards so watching this great couple on my screen is all good! The Olivia pregnancy just a bump in the road. Julexis IS it. The scenes today really showed that. Youth and what it brings are okay but fleeting. Maturity and acting experience along with hot looks, are dynamite. Today’s scenes were awesome and guess what, #julexisreunites on twitter, the third Julexis related hashtag to trend since they’ve been back onscreen in story.

Olivia’s great with Ned, a nice sparkly humorous couple which is what both actors excel at.

I think Julexis will grow closer with the baby story. Today’s episode showed how committed they are together. I didn’t see wrinkles b/c again I’m not an ageist double standard sexist who puts impossible demands on women over the age of 30. What I did see is two hot, talented actors totally bring it. More please! Julexis fantasy sex brought in 3.3. million viewers, highest rated episode in January. Let’s see if their scene can approach that.

I’m with ya, butterfly warrior. (Lol, great name!). I agree with your entire post.

Love that Julian & Alexis are getting back together! I can’t wait for what’s next for them. Wil and Nancy have incredible chemistry and they bring it in every scene. Such sweet scenes today, I just love them!

Julexis just infuses GH with so much authentic passion and love. What Nancy and Wil in scenes is extraordinary and it’s rare. I think people who don’t project their dislike for Nancy and or Alexis on the couple are willing to admit that. I’m excited about the reunion. Looking forward to more of this great couple!

I love Julian and Alexis together. They’re kind of the reason I started watching General Hospital. I was flipping through the channels over the summer and ended up watching an episode of GH. I can’t remember much of the episode except that Julian and Alexis were burning up the screen. I’ve been completely hooked on them ever since. It was the physicality and intensity of the actors that drew me. Those two know how to do sexy. I like some of the other couples on GH, but it’s Julian and Alexis that keep me coming back for more. It was so great seeing them reunite today. I hope they get a chance to focus on their relationship before this baby drama gets dropped in their laps. Please show a little mercy, writers. They were broken up for a long time. We need happy times for awhile. xo

whao..
Alexia and Julian = Lust and Love = HOT.

Alexis !!!!!!

count your lucky stars…. this would be the 3rd or 4th go ’round

Julian is drool. Julian is feast. Julian is dag’on sex

“stop” w/the grandstanding virtue… your abide by the law… right side…. BORES
Ms. black robed supreme court justice frigid’s

step outside yourself….

with Olivia pregnant… i don’t know that this will last any way

with your declaration that you are once again in love with Julian…

I see you back to fretting angst ridden

Thank you! They are great as usuall! Love then so much! So happy about the reunion. I just wish that GH utilize them more. They are incredible actors. More astory and dialogs for them! Such a unique chemistry!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
